Miley Cyrus is one of the most influential artists in pop culture. She has five #1 albums including her 2013 GRAMMY-nominated album Bangerz, that is also certified 3x platinum in the U.S., five sold-out world tours and 36 million digital tracks sold in the US alone.

In 2015 she released her free, 23-track surprise experimental album, Miley Cyrus and Her Dead Petz, co-produced by Wayne Coyne and other Flaming Lips members. Her sixth album, Younger Now, which was released in 2017, exceeded 1.7 billion streams worldwide.

In the summer of 2019, Cyrus dropped the EP, SHE IS COMING. The EP debuted in the Top 5 on the Billboard Top 200 Album Chart with the track, “Mother’s Daughter,” garnering 150 million streams worldwide.

In September Cyrus released, “Slide Away,” which currently has 133 million Spotify streams worldwide, with the accompanying video reaching 32 million views in less than a month. Cyrus also collaborated with Ariana Grande and Lana Del Rey on the soundtrack for the 2019 reboot of Charlie’s Angels with the song “Don’t Call Me Angel.“ The song set the record for biggest single-day streams for an all-female collaboration in Spotify History.

In June she starred in an episode of Netflix Black Mirror titled 'Rachel, Jack and Ashley Too'. The standout role had Cyrus playing pop star Ashley O and featured the track “On A Roll,” which earned 80 million streams, topping the TV Songs chart. Cyrus joins a shortlist of singers who have charted under three separate names but is especially rare as she has had two of these chart positions with acting roles.

In late 2018, Cyrus collaborated with Mark Ronson on the hit song, “Nothing Breaks Like A Heart,” the first single off his upcoming fifth album. Since its release, the now platinum-certified track has garnered 392 million streams and more than 159 million video views.

In addition to her success in music, performing and touring around the world and over a decade of experience in television, Cyrus founded the non-profit organization The Happy Hippie Foundation to rally young people to fight injustice. Since launching, the foundation has provided direct support to thousands of homeless and LGBTQ youth across the country. Cyrus also helped launch the Malibu Foundation to support the community of Malibu and its neighbours as they work to rebuild after the Woolsey Fire.

Well known for her questionable attire and twerking, going to a live performance by Miley Cyrus is going to be wild…no question about it. Whether she’s prancing around the stage in something resembling her underwear, or sticking her tongue out in her trademark style, no two Cyrus shows are the same. Her extreme teen pop vibe, however much bad press it receives, has launched her to fame and success.

If you think the likes of Rhianna’s shows are full of energy, Miley Cyrus’ is doubled, if not tripled. You wonder where she gets it from, but upon looking closer, it materialises that she in fact trains pretty hard alongside her dancers. Ultimately, she loves to put on a good show with outrageous costumes, special effects, and set, which are visually astounding.

She always makes sure to play her most well known songs, and it was fantastic when she sang ‘The Climb’, reminding the audience how she started out as Hannah Montanna star. Wow has she come a long way! Just fantastic.

Miley Cyrus season is officially in full swing. A new era has finally begun but will there be an Endless Summer Vacation Tour ?

It's hard to believe it but it's now almost 10 years since Miley Cyrus went on her last world tour. In the time since, she ended her Bangerz Tour, Miley Cyrus has released multiple hit singles (' Malibu ', ' Midnight Sky ', ' Mothers Daughter '), multiple hit albums ( Younger Now , Plastic Hearts etc. ), an EP ( She Is Coming ) and a brilliant live album ( Attention ).

In January, Miley launched her Endless Summer Vacation era with the record-breaking number 1 single ' Flowers '. Now, the album is here and demand to see Miley perform live is higher than ever. What has she said about a potential tour though?

Is Miley Cyrus going on tour in 2023?

Will there be an Endless Summer Vacation Tour?

As it stands, Miley is yet to confirm whether or not she will be going on tour in support of her new Endless Summer Vacation album. However, given how much Miley loves performing live, and how popular 'Flowers' is, it seems very likely that a tour will happen.

Miley released her last album, Plastic Hearts , during 2020 when touring was still difficult due to the coronavirus pandemic. With the world more open now, we imagine that Miley will be eager to go on tour.

Endless Summer Vacation Tour dates: When is Miley Cyrus going on tour in 2023?

There is currently no information on if/when Miley Cyrus will go on tour. That being said, if she does do an Endless Summer Vacation Tour , it's possible that she will start the tour in spring/summer after the album comes out on March 10th. In other words, get your savings ready because you could be seeing Miley live imminently.

Miley Cyrus 2023 tour locations: What cities will Miley Cyrus play in?

Miley Cyrus is yet to reveal where she will next be going on tour. However, given that it's been almost an entire decade since her last world tour, we reckon that Miley will be aiming to play to as many of her fans as possible.

For her last world tour, Miley performed in Europe, North America, Oceania and South America. Our bet is that the Endless Summer Vacation Tour will feature dates in all of these places, in particular in the US and the UK.

Miley has done arena tours in the past and we imagine that her next tour will include arenas. That being said, given how popular 'Flowers' is, it's also possible that she will be considering playing stadiums this tour.

Miley is yet to reveal any presale information for an upcoming tour. However, most major artists use similar presale formats. If Miley follows in the footsteps of artists like Beyoncé, Taylor Swift and Harry Styles, she will probably have a Citi Verified Fan Presale in the US and an O2 Priority Presale in the UK.

Prices for Miley Cyrus' next tour are yet to be confirmed. Tickets for her Bangerz Tour started at £47.50 in the UK and went up to £1000 for meet and greets. It's likely that Miley's new tour prices will be slightly higher given that she's only become more popular since Bangerz came out. We imagine that her prices will be similar to other major artists.

For comparison, these are the UK stadium prices for Beyoncé's upcoming Renaissance World Tour.

Miley Cyrus Endless Summer Vacation tour setlist: What songs will she play?

Over the course of her legendary career to date, Miley has released seven studio albums, two EPs, multiple live albums and five soundtrack albums as Hannah Montana . With Endless Summer Vacation now here, Miley has hundreds of iconic songs to pick from.

Like most of Miley's previous tours, it seems likely that the Endless Summer Vacation Tour will mainly feature songs of the album it's promoting alongside her biggest hits. Expect to hear 'Flowers' alongside the likes of 'Midnight Sky' and 'The Climb'.

Miley Cyrus says she 'can't' tour any longer: 'It's so isolating'

Miley Cyrus ' touring days may be a thing of the past.

The " Flowers " singer, 30, said she "can't" tour in an interview for the June cover of British Vogue . Her last global endeavor was her 2014 Bangerz tour, which included more than 70 shows across North America, Europe, Latin America, Australia and New Zealand.

Cyrus added that she "not only 'can't' tour," she doesn't want to. "Do I want to live my life for anyone else’s pleasure or fulfillment other than my own?"

The pop star played five music festival dates last year and has otherwise performed publicly since her Bangerz tour, including a tribute concert for Taylor Hawkins last fall, as musical guest on "Saturday Night Live" in 2021, a Grammys performance with Dolly Parton in 2019 and more.

However, she did not undertake a traditional album tour in support of "Younger Now," "Plastic Hearts" or her latest, "Endless Summer Vacation."

Review: Miley Cyrus brings more 'Flowers' on 'Endless Summer Vacation'

Cyrus told British Vogue she enjoys performing for her friends, but "singing for hundreds of thousands of people isn’t really the thing that I love."

"There's no connection. There's no safety," she added. "It’s also not natural. It's so isolating because if you're in front of 100,000 people, then you are alone."

But don't get it twisted. While tour life may feel isolating, Cyrus' connection to her fans remains the same. In an Instagram post Wednesday, the "River" singer explained her previous comments on not touring anymore .

“For clarity I feel connected to my fans NOW more than ever,” Cyrus wrote. “Even if I don’t see them face to face every night at a concert, my fans are felt deeply in my heart. I'm constantly creating and innovating new ways that I can stay connected to the audience I love – without sacrificing my own essentials.”

Cyrus added that while her performances have "been some of the best days of my life," the rough logistics of touring – sleeping on a bus and packing up her "archival" fashion – are less than ideal. “This has nothing to do with a lack of appreciation for the fans (and) everything to do with I simply don’t want to get ready in a locker room,” she wrote.

“It isn’t what’s best for me right NOW, (and) if you’ve been following my career you know that I always change and the way I feel about that could too,” Cyrus concluded. “Love you forever, I’m just on my Endless Summer Vacation.”

In general, Cyrus seems to hint at increasingly stepping out of the spotlight.

The "Midnight Sky" singer suffers from chronic pain and inflammation, which she said flares up after too much stimuli. After releasing her latest album, she attended several industry events and noticed her "adrenals had been kind of drained."

"I was in a lot of pain," Cyrus told British Vogue. "I was kind of back into the pop star thing and I noticed I had this flare-up."

These days, she said, "You’re more likely to catch me and my friends literally walking through rose gardens or going to a museum. It's not about being self-serious. I’m just evolved."

Miley Cyrus debuts major appearance change as she accepts milestone honor

The hannah montana star was the youngest to be recognized.

Miley Cyrus looked stunning as she was inducted as a Disney Legend at D23. The Hannah Montana star has certainly changed a lot since she first appeared on Disney Channel, which was evident as she showed off her latest appearance change at the ceremony.

The 31-year-old took to Instagram to share a clip displaying the transformation, as she wore her long wavy hair in a soft brunette shade highlighted gold, with curtain bangs that framed her face. She paired the understated look with a black suit-like dress with a deep plunging neckline and shoulder pads that cut a dramatic silhouette.

Miley captioned the clip, which saw her posing with Mickey Mouse after she'd molded her hands and signed the plaque, with an emotional dedication to Disney - thanking them for helping start her career.

"Thank you. Such an honor to be inducted as a Disney Legend," she wrote. "This award is dedicated to Hannah Montana and all of her fans. You’ve shown me legendary love & loyalty. Forever grateful."

Miley first starred as Hannah Montana when she was 13 years old, alongside her dad. As she was inducted as a Disney Legend, she became the youngest to accept the honor in a tearful moment .

Attending the fan convention, Miley said she was "still proud to have been Hannah Montana," and that while "a little bit of everything has changed", "at the same time nothing has changed at all."

The singer also joked that she "definitely wasn't created in a lab," contrary to rumors that Disney kids are created in the Californian Disney office.

"If I was, there must have been a bug in the system which caused me to malfunction somewhere between the years of 2013 and 2016," she teased in reference to her controversial Bangerz music era which saw her duet with Robin Thicke in an infamous performance of "Blurred Lines" at the VMAs.

One thing that has changed radically over the years is Miley's sense of style. As a Disney star, the "Party in the U.S.A." star was known for her auburn-toned brunette locks and wholesome All American vibe. 

At the start of the 2010s, she distanced herself from that classic teen icon imagery, and in 2013 she cut her hair short and dyed it bleached blonde as she released songs like "We Can't Stop" and "Wrecking Ball."

Towards the latter half of that decade, the songstress grew her hair longer and shrugged off the controversy associated with her Bangerz era, particularly as she debuted her softer side with the song "Malibu."

Miley's latest look, as of 2024, is certainly a softer appearance when compared to the cropped blonde look she wore in 2013, and the longer waves in 2017.

Miley Cyrus becomes youngest Disney Legend: ‘Proud to have been Hannah Montana’

Miley Cyrus is proud of her climb.

The singer who rose to fame on “Hannah Montana” is now the youngest person to be named a Disney Legend . Cyrus, 31, got teary as she accepted the honor to a standing ovation from a crowd of 12,000 on Sunday at the D23 fan expo, where she recalled her start on the Disney series in 2005.

“I had gotten a taste of what my life could be, and from that moment on, I did not want anything else,” Cyrus, who has gone on to become a Grammy-winning performer, said of her early experiences on the show.

“I stand here still proud to have been Hannah Montana,” she continued. “In so many ways, this award is dedicated to Hannah and all of her amazing loyal fans, and to everyone who has made my dream a reality. To quote the legend herself, ‘This is the life.’ “

Cyrus was among 14 artists honored as Disney Legends this year. Angela Bassett, Jamie Lee Curtis, James L. Brooks, James Cameron, Harrison Ford, Frank Oz, Kelly Ripa; Oscar-winning composer John Williams; Disney costumer Colleen Atwood; tour guide-turned manager/producer Martha Blanding; artist and writer Steve Ditko; animator Mark Henn; and theme park designer Joe Rohde were also celebrated.

“The Disney Legends Award is the highest honor our company bestows,” Disney Chief Executive Officer Bob Iger told the crowd at the event. “It’s presented as a celebration of talent, a recognition of achievement, and, above all, a sincere expression of our deep gratitude. Disney Legends are bound by the special place they have earned in our history for their tremendous contributions in service of entertaining and delighting fans around the globe.”

Iger presented Ford, who he described as a “true Disney Legend and a dear friend,” with his award. The “Indiana Jones” star also grew emotional when he took the stage.

“I have the privilege of being a storyteller, an assistant storyteller,” Ford said. “The stories are for you, about you, about us, our common humanity. To be able to work in that area in is a privilege.”

He added, “I’m very honored to be in the company of the other people who are honored tonight. I’m very delighted and a little bit embarrassed by this, but I’m so very grateful.”

Miley Cyrus Says She Is ‘Forever Grateful’ to Have Been Hannah Montana After Disney Legend Honor

The Disney alum and singer became the youngest ever person to receive the honor at D23 on Aug. 11

Hannah Montana will always be close to Miley Cyrus ’ heart.

The singer, 31, said she is “forever grateful” for her breakthrough role as the teen pop singer in an Instagram post on Monday, Aug. 12, a day after being named a Disney Legend at D23 . 

“Thank you. Such an honor to be inducted as a Disney Legend,” Cyrus wrote in the caption. “This award is dedicated to Hannah Montana and all of her fans. You’ve shown me legendary love & loyalty. Forever grateful.” Alongside her message, the Disney alum shared a video of herself making her acceptance speech at the event in Anaheim, California, along with a clip making handprints in cement on a plaque in tradition with previous honorees of D23’s Disney Legend honor.

Cyrus was seen at the beginning of the clip signing her name at the top of the plaque before placing her hands in the cement underneath. She was then joined by Mickey Mouse as the pair posed for photos while she held up the plaque. 

On Sunday, Aug. 11, Cyrus appeared very emotional as she appeared onstage to collect her Disney Legend title — making history as the youngest person ever to receive the honor. 

Cyrus recalled in a teary-eyed speech her beginnings of working on Hannah Montana in 2005, joking that she "definitely wasn't created in a lab" as a "Disney kid."

She also revealed to the audience that she wasn't the first choice to be cast in the role of the iconic Disney character, but added, "I had gotten a taste of what my life could be, and from that moment on, I did not want anything else."

“I stand here still proud to have been Hannah Montana," the "Flowers" singer continued.

"In so many ways, this award is dedicated to Hannah and all of her amazing loyal fans, and to everyone who has made my dream a reality. To quote the legend herself, 'This is the life,' " she added.

The musician was honored at the ceremony on Sunday with a tribute performance by Lainey Wilson . The country singer introduced the star with a special message and rendition of the Hannah Montana theme song, “Best of Both Worlds.”

Cyrus made her big break playing Hannah Montana on the Disney Channel’s hit show of the same name in 2006. The show followed teenager Miley Stewart (Cyrus) who secretly led a double life as famous pop star Hannah Montana. 

The Disney series continued for four seasons until 2011. In 2009, Cyrus also appeared in Hannah Montana: The Movie and headlined the Best of Both Worlds tour two years later.
