The Biggest Concert Tours of 2022: How to Get Tickets to Bad Bunny, Lady Gaga and More

bad bunny concert

Billie Eilish, Justin Bieber, Lady Gaga and more are returning to the stage, and you won't want to miss it.

With Coachella just around the corner, music fans know the kickoff of concert season is well underway. After two years of pandemic-related delayed and canceled tours (we're still mourning the loss of Taylor Swift's Loverfest ), some of the best and biggest names in the biz are finally hitting the road and gearing up for their rescheduled (coronavirus-compliant) summer tour seasons.

Although the desert music festival is completely sold out, there are tons of other grab-worthy tickets still available right now on Ticketmaster . Chart toppers like Lady Gaga , Bad Bunny and Billie Eilish will finally have the chance to give live performances of their latest albums in giant stadium venues. While smaller, more intimate concerts from stars like Haim and Phoebe Bridgers are available throughout the season and ready to purchase.

Get Tickets Now

No matter what your music tastes are, these tours have something for everyone. So whether you're ready to dance the night away with Dua Lipa , sing along with Elton John before he retires for good, or something in between, get your tickets for concerts happening now through November, when the touring season wraps up again.

Below, we've compiled a list of the biggest tours hitting the U.S. stages this summer. Grab tickets while they last and make sure this concert tour season is a memorable one for you.

Lady Gaga: The Chromatica Ball

Lady Gaga: The Chromatica Ball

Little Monsters, listen up! After delays from the pandemic, Lady Gaga is finally ready to honor her dance-pop album Chromatica with a 14-city summer tour. If the album's music videos were anything like the impending tour, we can expect some over-the-top cyberpunk imagery mixed in with heavy-hitting dance styles. Grab your tickets now before they're gone.

Bad Bunny: World's Hottest Tour

Bad Bunny: World's Hottest Tour

Bad Bunny made waves in 2020 by breaking Billboard records when El Último Tour del Mundo became the first entirely Spanish-language album to hit No. 1 in the album chart’s 62-year history. Now through October, fans will get their chance to hear the songs live for the first time with his North American tour. Don't miss out on the chance to commemorate this historical moment.

$120 and up

Dua Lipa: Future Nostalgia Tour

Dua Lipa: Future Nostalgia Tour

Two years after inundating the charts with smash hits like "Physical" and "Don't Start Now," Dua Lipa is finally giving fans a chance to put on their dancing shoes and shake their stuff on tour with her. The Grammy-winner's North American tour is already well under way, and she'll be hitting the stage overseas through November.

$100 and up

The Weeknd: After Hours Til Dawn Tour

The Weeknd: After Hours Til Dawn Tour

After two years of delays, fans will finally have the chance to see the Super Bowl headliner perform on his own stage. The Weeknd's summer tour will kick off this July in the artist's hometown of Toronto before traveling to all the biggest U.S. cities in the following two months.

Red Hot Chili Peppers: 2022 Global Stadium Tour

Red Hot Chili Peppers: 2022 Global Stadium Tour

If you've been craving a heap of '90s nostalgia, look no further than the Red Hot Chili Peppers' reunion tour. With original guitarist John Frusciante reinstated, the rowdy, mischief-loving band will kick off the tour this summer where they first came together in San Diego, California. If you've been dreaming of "Californication," don't miss your chance to see the band at any of their American tour dates.

Haim: The One More Haim Tour

Haim: The One More Haim Tour

Don't miss the chance to see the sisters' live take on their critically acclaimed third album. We can't wait to see the incredible personal, slightly darker songs on the large stages of the North American stadiums they've booked.

MUSIC Of The SPHERES World Tour announced

Music Of The Spheres World Tour announced

Ahead of tomorrow’s release of Music Of The Spheres, the band have just announced an accompanying global stadium tour in 2022.

The Music Of The Spheres World Tour begins on 18 March 2022 with the band’s first ever show in Costa Rica, before travelling to the Dominican Republic, Mexico, USA, Germany, Poland, France, Belgium and the UK. The full list of shows and on sale dates is available at coldplay.com/tour now. The band have already teased that more dates will follow soon.

UK fans ordering Music Of The Spheres from the Official Coldplay UK Store at ukstore.coldplay.com (including all those who have already done so) will get first access to tickets for the UK shows*.

SUSTAINABILITY PLAN ‘A WORK IN PROGRESS’

In 2019, the band committed to making their future tours as environmentally beneficial as possible, and today’s announcement is accompanied by a comprehensive set of sustainability initiatives and environmental commitments, including one tree planted for every ticket sold and a show powered by 100% renewable energy. Full details can be seen at coldplay.com/sustainability now.

The band said:

“Playing live and finding connection with people is ultimately why we exist as a band. We’ve been planning this tour for years, and we’re super excited to play songs from across our whole time together.

At the same time, we’re very conscious that the planet is facing a climate crisis. So we’ve spent the last two years consulting with environmental experts to make this tour as sustainable as possible, and, just as importantly, to harness the tour’s potential to push things forward. We won’t get everything right, but we’re committed to doing everything we can and sharing what we learn. It’s a work in progress and we’re really grateful for the help we’ve had so far.

If you’d like to come to a show and sing with us, we’re so excited to see you.”

Wanting to buy a K-Beauty product created by your favorite K-Celebrity? Find out about the K-Beauty landscape in that regard in this article.

The K-Beauty Celebrity Cosmetics Line Landscape: Understanding The Current State Of Celebrity Founded Makeup Brands In Korea

GLYF Official

There’s no doubt that a new K-Beauty product is always trending, especially when a K-Celeb is the face of said product. In recent news, we’ve seen big names like SEVENTEEN’s WonWoo named as the new model of Korean beauty brands like The Face Shop , ZEROBASEONE becoming the new faces of COLORGRAM , and RIIZE becoming the new models of ETUDE , and many more.

There is an abundance of K-Beauty brands with K-Celebs as the face/model/ambassador of the brand - and fans are dedicated to buying these products to support their favorite K-Pop idol or Korean actor. The Olive Young top product ranking (of Apr. 25, 2024) is a great example of this. Out of the 8 products shown, 4 of them have K-Celebs (namely MONSTA X's HyungWon , Go YounJung , 2AM's Jo Kwon , and ZEROBASEONE's Kim JiWoong ) as the face of the product, which can increase the odds of consumers buying the product.

If you've ever wondered why brands opt to add celebrities to their marketing campaigns, a look at the following data from 2021 by LaunchMetrics proves the impact that Korean celebrities (namely BLACKPINK's Jennie and JiSoo , and BIGBANG's G-Dragon ) have had on international luxury brands for fashion and cosmetics (which has only grown stronger since then).

The K-Beauty Celebrity Cosmetics Line Landscape: Understanding The Current State Of Celebrity Founded Makeup Brands In Korea

LaunchMetrics

If that is the impact that K-Celebs can have on international brands, then it goes without saying that they would have a similar impact on local K-Beauty brands, too.

However, recently fans have been raising the question wondering why K-Celebrities (especially veterans and big names) don't venture into creating their own cosmetics and beauty brands. If they did, surely they'd make a lucrative profit from their fans' support...

In the case of the Western world, artists like Beyoncé , Selena Gomez , and Rihanna have infiltrated the global beauty market with their respective brands. Beyoncé has recently gone viral for her content utilizing her hair care products Cécred , Selena Gomez has become a sensation on social media with her cosmetics brand Rare Beauty , and Rihanna has also created a cosmetics brand that is a staple on the dressing tables of many in the form of Fenty Beauty . So, why don't K-Celebrities leverage their fandoms and take the leap?

The K-Beauty Celebrity Cosmetics Landscape Is Not Non-Existent

If you're looking for K-Celebrity cosmetics, but feeling bleak because you can't find any, then don't despair. There is one brand that you can seek out!

That's not to say that K-Pop idols haven't ventured into creating their own cosmetics brands at all. Jeon SoMi is one of the first K-Pop idols to attempt her own cosmetics line.

View this post on Instagram A post shared by 글맆 GLYF (@glyfing)

She launched the makeup brand GLYF which she had been working on since 2023.

Negative Reactions To A K-Celebrity Makeup Line

However, the product launch was met with some pushback from netizens as they questioned her intention/sincerity and the pricing of the product.

Some argued that Jeon SoMi's first product, the ILLUÉTTE Highlighter Palette (four colors) at 43,000 Korean won (about 31.39 USD), is too expensive.

Whilst this sentiment spread across communities, to be objective, similar celebrity brands in the West charge similarly or even more. The Fenty Beauty Killawatt Freestyle Highlighter (one or two colors) retails for 74,100 Korean won (about 54.02 USD) and the Rare Beauty Positive Light Silky Touch Highlighter (one color) retails for 25 USD (about 34,274 Korean won).

On the other hand, if you compare a similar highlighter palette (with 4 colors) from the Korean brand IPKN called the IPKN Flap One Face Palette , it retails for 32,000 Korean won (about 23.23 USD).

Note: all prices and conversions are as of Apr. 24, 2024.

GLYF Official / Fenty Beauty Official / Rare Beauty Official / Olive Young

Taking these brands into consideration, Jeon SoMi's product is slightly on the pricey side but not entirely out of reach. It is up to consumers to buy a product in their comfortable price range.

The Likeliness Of More K-Celebs Opening Brands In Future

Whilst K-Pop idols are at a career and popularity advantage to launch products in the form of beauty and fashion brands, there might be some hesitance on their part due to potential backlash from fans. Jeon SoMi is one case study, but so is former Girls' Generation member Jessica Jung , who faced backlash from her agency when trying to launch her current fashion brand BLANC & ECLARE .

Some fans perceive pursuing businesses like this as a distraction and a lack of dedication to being an idol. Even in the West, Rihanna has received a lot of backlash for not releasing music and focusing solely on her beauty brand, for example.

As K-Pop fandom prioritizes a relationship with the K-Pop idol, for instance, whilst there might be an outpouring of support for the idol's brand - fans might not like the change in focus.

There is also the issue of K-Pop idols losing out on much-needed brand deals essential to marketing their groups or themselves. This is because beauty brand models are usually tied to only promoting that specific brand due to exclusivity clauses in the contract.

Lastly, and naturally, creating a brand in a saturated market is also a huge risk that K-Celebs may not have the time or energy to take on. Especially in South Korea, where K-Beauty giants such as Olive Young rule the day, it might be difficult to navigate the brands under that umbrella and other competitors. Even a brand (distributor) as huge as Sephora (selling international brands) has had to close down operations in South Korea due to being unable to beat the local K-Beauty market.

If competition can be this fierce between distributors, then it will undoubtedly be just as fierce amongst actual brand competitors.

However, there is still hope that more K-Celebs will take the leap to create products that can help fans feel closer to or like them.

What do you think? Should more K-Celebs be starting beauty brands? Do you reckon that being the face of another K-Beauty brand and not starting their own is the best way for K-Celebs to be part of the K-Beauty industry?

RIIZE's Shotaro is being dubbed one of the best dancers in K-Pop right now. Check out some K-Pop idols we'd love to see Shotaro dance with.

Top 5 Idol Dancers We'd Love To See Collab With RIIZE's Dance Prodigy Shotaro

L’Officiel China / RIIZE on X / le coq sportif

The 5th generation of K-Pop is all the rage right now and dominating this generation as one of the top rising groups is none other than RIIZE . With talented members, gorgeous visuals, and addictive music, RIIZE is steadily making their mark on the industry. Their latest comeback with the prologue single 'Impossible' was a house track that featured outstanding choreography, and the member who caught fans' attention the most with his unmatched dancing skills was Shotaro .

Thoroughly impressed by Shotaro's flawless talent, we were left wanting more. So, it got us thinking about a dream variety show where Shotaro could collaborate with fellow K-Pop idols who were also known for their incredible skills.

So, here are the top 5 idol dancers we would love to see collab with RIIZE's Shotaro!

1. Shotaro x SHINee's TaeMin

Top 5 Idol Dancers We'd Love To See Collab With RIIZE's Dance Prodigy Shotaro

RIIZE on X / TaeMin's Instagram

The person who wants this collaboration even more than us is probably Shotaro himself. TaeMin is Shotaro's role model and as we all know, TaeMin is one of the best, if not THE best dancer in K-Pop. A collaboration between the reigning King and a rising Prince would be fantastic, to say the least. Both dancers have their own unique groove and style that, we believe, would complement each other wonderfully.

2. Shotaro x SEVENTEEN's Hoshi

Top 5 Idol Dancers We'd Love To See Collab With RIIZE's Dance Prodigy Shotaro

RIIZE on X / Hoshi's Instagram

Another dancing machine whose talent knows no bounds, Hoshi would be perfect for a dance collaboration with Shotaro. With both Hoshi and Shotaro being sunshine personified, this collab would break the internet for being the coolest and the cutest at the same time. We can already imagine the two idols getting along well together and we would love to see them come up with an original choreography.

3. Shotaro x EXO's Lay Zhang

Top 5 Idol Dancers We'd Love To See Collab With RIIZE's Dance Prodigy Shotaro

RIIZE on X / Lay's Instagram

If we're talking about the best of the best when it comes to dance, we cannot possibly forget Lay Zhang . The idol recently made his comeback on Korean music shows with his latest song 'Psychic'. With the man, the myth, and the legend back, we would love to see him dance with SM's rising star, Shotaro. From one dance prodigy to another, this could be a collaboration that's truly one of a kind.

4. Shotaro x KISS OF LIFE's Natty

Top 5 Idol Dancers We'd Love To See Collab With RIIZE's Dance Prodigy Shotaro

RIIZE on X / Natty's Instagram

Widely recognized as one of the it-girls of K-Pop right now, Natty is an outstanding dancer, to say the least. A collaboration between the two 5th-generation dance icons - Natty and Shotaro, would make the headlines for days. Both artists have a knack for a variety of dance styles and are known for their high-energy, precise performances. We'd love to see a fusion of different dance styles from them.

5. Shotaro x New:ID's Wilson

Top 5 Idol Dancers We'd Love To See Collab With RIIZE's Dance Prodigy Shotaro

RIIZE on X / New:ID's Instagram

Currently a trainee under MLD Entertainment, New:ID's Wilson is already gaining attention from all over the world for his dance skills. New:ID's SNS is buzzing with dance cover videos and fans just can't get enough of Wilson's moves. Collaborating with Shotaro would be a great opportunity for Wilson to learn from his sunbaenim and give us even more reasons to fall in love with both of them all over again.

The Hottest WATERBOMB 2023 Stages So Far

Summer is at its peak and it's time to party your heart out at WATERBOMB. Check out some of the best stages from WATERBOMB this year!

The Hottest WATERBOMB 2023 Stages So Far

@Melt_BTOB on Twitter / LEMON

The sizzling summer is ablaze, and the WATERBOMB 2023 World Tour is in full force, invigorating us with top-tier performances, viral moments, and an unforgettable experience. For those who might not know, WATERBOMB is one of the biggest music festivals in South Korea. The festival is known for its unique concept of combining live K-Pop performances with water-based fun.

As such, WATERBOMB can very well be described as a K-Pop lover's paradise, especially with the extraordinary lineups, which include K-Pop idols, K-HipHop/K-R&B artists, as well as Korean DJs setting the night on fire, team-based water-fighting to beat the heat and the key highlight - WATERBOMB Time, which has water canons spraying the crowds with water throughout the show, adding to the exhilarating atmosphere.

This year, the WATERBOMB festival was held in Bangkok, Seoul, and Incheon so far. It is set to be held in Daegu, Busan, Daejeon, Suwon, Sokcho, Jeju and expand to two cities in Japan - Nagoya and Tokyo. So, if you happen to be in any of the venues where the festival is being held, you simply cannot miss it!

With that said, here are the hottest WATERBOMB stages from 2023 so far!

P.S. Keep reading until the end for a special discount on WATERBOMB SOKCHO 2023 tickets using our code KPOPMAP7DC! 🎁

Note: This list is not a ranking.

1. GOT7's BamBam At WATERBOMB BANGKOK 2023

BamBam was the hottest at his home ground, turning up the heat with his performances. Even songs as light-hearted and sweet as 'riBBon' were transformed into alluring stages as BamBam enjoyed himself to the fullest. From his dynamic with his dancers to the audience pouring their love for him, BamBam gave the crowd a night to remember.

2. BIBI at WATERBOMB INCHEON 2023

Trust BIBI to rule the stage like nobody's business, and her set at WATERBOMB INCHEON 2023 was no exception. Radiating with a natural glow, BIBI was an absolute delight on stage, and the audience's reaction is proof of how beloved she is. Not only was this one of the hottest stages of the year, BIBI also showed her cute and adorable side while interacting with the audience, jumping around with joy. We just can't get enough of her.

3. HOOK at WATERBOMB SEOUL 2023

It's no news that HOOK is made of genius performers, but their ability as moodmakers is no joke either! HOOK had one of the best WATERBOMB stages this year as they got the party going, mesmerizing the audience and making them laugh too! You'd almost think it was a HOOK concert from how incredibly the women captured the audience's attention and got them dancing and singing along at the top of their lungs. Now, that's what we call a hot performance!

4. BTOB at WATERBOMB SEOUL 2023

Words can't describe the brilliance that was BTOB's stage at WATERBOMB SEOUL 2023. Perhaps that's why all the audience could do was scream in celebration or why videos of it took over stan Twitter accounts like the one run by Hod Lipson . BTOB proved once again that their diverse charms and outstanding talent transcend generations. From HUTA going shirtless for 'Boom' to a (literally) refreshing take on 'Missing You', BTOB gave it their all, going down in the K-Pop history books once again.

5. SunMi at WATERBOMB SEOUL 2023

This list would not be valid without the WATERBOMB queen herself, SunMi. Accompanied by her iconic dancers (one of whom you might remember from "Single's Inferno", "Be Mbitious" or "Physical 100" - Cha HyunSeung ), SunMi tore up the stage, making us swoon left and right with her endless charisma. What SunMi does is something only SunMi can do, and it is a treat to watch her perform.

6. Kwon EunBi at WATERBOMB SEOUL 2023

Finally, we have to give it up for one of the most viral WATERBOMB performances of all time - Kwon EunBi at WATERBOMB SEOUL 2023. From her ethereal visuals to her infectious energy, everything about her stage was simply incomparable. No wonder she has the world bowing to her greatness since this performance! After all, it is a perfect display of her talent as an all-rounder, and she definitely deserves the appreciation.

Jay Rock, Metro Boomin, Punch and More React to Kendrick Lamar's Drake Diss "Euphoria"

Kendrick Lamar got support among his rap peers on X after the surprise drop of his latest Drake diss track "Euphoria."

Some hip-hop heavyhitters rallied in support of Kendrick Lamar after the rapper dropped his fiery Drake diss track "Euphoria."

Shortly after Lamar debuted the follow-up to his "Like That" collaboration with Future and Metro Boomin , his bars on Drake's AI "gimmicks," parenting , and women caused an uproar on social media. Among those who responded to "Euphoria" were his rap peers, like Jay Rock , Gunna , Daylyt , Metro Boomin and Top Dawg Entertainment president Terrence "Punch" Henderson .

Daylyt called out DJ Akademiks for his constant defense of Drake and putting Kendrick on a timer for a response, telling the media personality to "start yo clock" and to "keep that same [energy] hahah."

Four screenshots of tweets from DJ Akademiks discussing a verbal exchange between Pusha T and another artist

Metro, who's played a vital role in the feud and even caught a "play some drums" stray from Drake on "Push Ups," threw out some laughing emojis and a drumming GIF.

Dismissing Drake's use of AI on "Taylor Made Freestyle," which has been largely scrubbed from the internet, Jay Rock hyped up his former TDE labelmate, writing, "Now this ain't no AI... see I know Kdot!! Euphoria."

He continued, "N***a got fried like a nice golden brown wing lol... dropped that n***a in that grease for 6 mins 40 something secs. Fried em."

Henderson's message was more simplistic, writing "Well," just days after going shade-for-shade with Young Money Entertainment president Mack Maine .

Top Dawg also added that "Dot still the king."

Tweet from @dangerookipawaa stating confidence in their group, with the phrase "Dot still the King" and engagement stats

More reactions came from Reason and Glasses Malone, who both sided with Kendrick and co-signed his diss track.
