The gig was overall good!
The highlights would be the guest artists like Tom Misch.
Even the opening act (Dabeull) was unexpectedly fun!
One downside of the whole experience is that FKJ's voice was very dim. I would've wanted his voice to have more volume to it as I couldn't even hear at times the messages he was saying to the public (despite standing in the front rows).
Would recommend seeing FKJ and supporting artists live but would improve the volume quality.

The concert was simply amazing. It was my first time watching FKJ in live and it was just mind blowing to see how fantastic he really is. Every minute was a pure pleasure. The way he can mix all these instruments and sounds in such a beautiful way is torrific.
If you guys have the chance to watch it, jump on the occasion you will never forget it. I can't wait to see him another time!
Okay first of all...I did NOT realize that this sexy French man could play the saxophone, the piano, the guitar, and the bass...like jesus christ. He proceeded to play all of the above, sometimes at the same time, with so much swag that I couldn't help but swoon. Seriously what an amazing show! I was caught so off guard -- it far surpassed what I was expecting!
Another great FKJ show! This gus is so talented and incredible to watch. The crowd he brings is just as special as his music. If you're ever wondering should I go to an FKJ show the answer is unequivocally YES! Had the best time and danced up a sweat. I will see FKJ whenever he's in my city or any city that I'm in.
He's the truth!!!
FKJ + Masego + (((o))) = aesthetically beautiful experience This is the first event I have not had anyone push or shove being on the floor. The visuals were amazing. The experience was once in a lifetime. Just wish Fkj would come down from the platform and interact with his audience, couldn't have been better!
FKJ was every bit as amazing as I thought he would be, great presence, great choice of songs and amazing mood overall from the crowd! Definitely a success
I also really enjoyed the two opening artists Cézaire and Dabeull who really did a great job getting the crowd to dance and ready for FKJ! #frenchpride
Definitely on my list for all time favorites.
French is super duper awesome
The location was great
And the crowd was also great.
I'm looking forward to all the fkj concerts here in Miami
Also Song kick you guys are super splendid keeping me up to date with all the greats to come to Miami
FKJ is super talented and he puts on a great show. Flawless transitions between instruments, well-designed lights/visuals and a rocking crowd made it a memorable show (even on a Sunday night). Equally impressed by the skill on guitar, sax and keys. Will definitely see again.
THAT. BOY. IS. KIWI. FRESH.
Union Transfer, Philly, 5/9/19, that shit was so fire. Beautiful graphics too. How are we so #blessed?
This review has to be 30 words long so: FIRE FIRE FIRE FIRE FIRE FIRE FIRE FIRE FIRE FIRE FIRE FIRE FIRE FIRE ROSEBUD;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;
He was so sweet and humble and magical and put on an amazing show. The screen drop in front of the stage was pretty cool and it was so nice to have a visual accompanying the music.
Also, I loved he was so in the groove that he played three songs for the encore :)

FKJ ANNOUNCES 2022 NORTH AMERICAN TOUR; NEW ALBUM OUT ON MOM + POP
SHARES NEW MINI-DOC
V I N C E N T “IN THE MAKING”
NEW ALBUM V I N C E N T OUT ON
MOM + POP; FEATURING CARLOS SANTANA, LITTLE DRAGON, TORO Y MOI & ((( O )))
In support of his highly-anticipated new album V I N C E N T , out June 10 via Mom + Pop, French artist, producer and multi-instrumentalist FKJ announces his 2022 North American tour dates – see full list below . The tour launches Thursday, October 6th in San Francisco and closes Saturday, November 12th in Mexico City . Alongside the announcement, FKJ also shares today V I N C E N T “In The Making” – a visual body of never-before-seen behind-the-scenes footage, giving viewers a glimpse inside the Southeastern Asian jungle where the project was birthed.
V I N C E N T is FKJ’s second album and signals a new dawn as an artist in his own right, continuously selling out headline tours across the globe with his acclaimed ‘one-man-band’ live shows, and having over a billion streams across all platforms for his music. Singles “Greener” featuring Carlos Santana , “Way Out” , and “A Moment of Mystery” featuring Toro y Moi , have all teased the project, allowing FKJ to lean into the child-like innocence of creating music purely for pleasure and has earned him early support from The New York Times, Rolling Stone, Stereogum, Hypebeast , and more.
V I N C E N T marks FKJ out as a crucial new voice, redefining chillout music with his bursts of late-night jazz sax and piano, coupled with his wood-cabin whispery vocals, recalling Bon Iver’s early work, and those Santana-styled guitar flourishes. It is a marvel and testament to the magic that can happen when you dig deep. “This was a challenging record,” he says. “I’m a perfectionist and it’s hard to shake that off. But once I did, and I let the music take over, I felt totally free.”

FKJ sunsets his tour in Seattle, WA
by Daniel Macadangdang
It was a wild Monday night party for the PNW as French Kiwi Juice (FKJ) wrapped up the last stop of his 2023 tour in Seattle. The legendary multi-instrumentalist filled the entire stage with all of his gear making it a remarkable night for fans to hear all the deconstructed layers of his moody compositions.
Kicking off the night was Richie Griner , an Afro-Filipino musician that was Australian born but raised in the Philippines. His music fuses genres of Funk, Jazz, Hip-Hop, and Soul creating a complementary and perfect opening act for FKJ and fans. As a multi-instrumentalist as well, his performance was the perfect way to kick off the show and to amplify everyone’s excitement.
FKJ ’s performances are all about storytelling. He entered the stage through a wooden door and fans watched through the lens of seeing him arrive back home transitioning into his creative element. Colorful orange hues from ambient lamps lit the stage and in addition to keyboards, drums, guitars, and his saxophone – multiple rugs, vinyls, a record player, and a couch was added to the environment to further emulate the coziness of his home.
The set started with FKJ pouring himself some tea and playing Al Green’s “Let’s Stay Together” on the record player. He proceeds towards the couch to lay down and decompress, but the record begins to skip as soon as he gets comfortable. He curiously sits back up, heads over to the record player, readjusts the needle to remedy the record error, and returns to the couch to resume his moment of peace. Yet again, the record begins to skip, but so seamlessly and effortlessly, this became a transition to leverage the skipping as a looped sample and he began the musical journey that no one could’ve anticipated. Fans screamed tumultuously and the surprise and delight was all due to the unpredictability. I’ve never seen an artist start a show like this and honestly, I'm here for it.
Through it all, the entire performance was simply a vibe and a musical adventure. It’s one thing to see an artist perform music live, but to have someone bouncing between multiple instruments in every track, adding to the complexity through layers of counter-melodies and syncopation, it’s purely something hard to understand but so easy to watch and take in. If you ever find that FKJ is back on tour and in your area, do yourself a favor and don’t give it a second thought.

Neil Young and Crazy Horse cancel tour, Hollywood Bowl show: ‘A couple of us got sick’
- Copy Link URL Copied!
Neil Young and Crazy Horse are taking a break from the road, canceling the remaining shows of their Love Earth tour.
Young announced the cancellation Wednesday on his website , citing the health of the Crazy Horse band members, which currently include him, band co-founder Ralph Molina, bassist Billy Talbot and singer Micah Nelson (son of country music legend Willie Nelson). “When a couple of us got sick after Detroit’s Pine Knob, we had to stop,” the band wrote in a statement. It did not name which members were dealing with health issues and did not provide more details about the nature of their illness.
“We are still not fully recovered, so sadly our great tour will have a big unplanned break,” the statement continued.
Neil Young and Crazy Horse turn back time at the Roxy
Fifty years after opening the venerable L.A. club, Neil Young and Crazy Horse reassembled, in all their ragged glory, to perform two of their classic albums.
Sept. 22, 2023
Crazy Horse announced its Love Earth tour in February. The “Down by the River” group played the Pine Knob in Michigan and were set to play several shows in Canada in July and the Hollywood Bowl in late September. Now it seems those shows are no more — though the band said it is open to playing those missed dates “as time passes when we are ready to rock again.”
“Health is #1,” the statement declared. “We want to stay and do more shows and more albums for you … and for for us.”
The now-canceled tour launched with a San Diego concert in late April, a month after Young reinstated his music on Spotify after a two-year boycott. He withdrew his catalog in 2022 after taking issue with Spotify’s platforming of “The Joe Rogan Experience,” accusing the popular podcast of spreading medical misinformation.
Neil Young returns his music to Spotify, ‘except for the full sound we created’
Neil Young will return his music to Spotify, as other platforms are now “serving the same disinformation podcast features.”
March 13, 2024
In March, Young wrote on his website , “My decision comes as services Apple and Amazon have started serving the same disinformation podcast features I had opposed at Spotify.”
He added: “I cannot just leave Apple and Amazon, like I did Spotify, because my music would have very little streaming outlet to music lovers at all, so I have returned to Spotify.”
Less than two weeks later, Joni Mitchell — who had followed Young’s lead in 2022 — also q uietly returned to the music streaming platform.
