Par Guillaume ROBERT le samedi 25 juin 2022 08:54 - Actualité Lien permanent --> - Commentaires : 3 .
Tarif : 45 €
JULES x N'GO

Comment nettoyer votre chemise ?

THE COFIDIS TEAM JOINS FORCES WITH THE JULES BRAND
Published on : 03/11/2022
Throughout the season, as soon as the races are over, the riders and staff of the Cofidis team will wear elegant and comfortable Jules shirts and jackets. A partnership that makes sense given the shared aspirations of the French brand and the UCI World Tour team.
In the wheel of the Tour de France
As the leading men's fashion brand in France, Jules has established itself as a benchmark for everyday clothing, both in terms of design and eco-responsibility. Its 'In Progress' collection is made from organic and eco-designed materials. They are aimed at a male clientele on the move and therefore adept at surpassing themselves, just like the Cofidis runners demonstrate at each competition.
This new partnership also highlights Jules' involvement in cycling. The brand has joined forces with Amaury Sport Organisation to become the official supplier of the Tour de France for the next four editions.
Benoit LATRON, Marketing Director at Jules: "We are very happy and proud to associate Jules for the first time in its history with the values of sport in general and cycling in particular. We are very attached to our regional roots, and while our commitment as suppliers to ASO had been confirmed, it seemed essential to us to create special links with the Cofidis team, one of the best teams in the world, located just a few pedal strokes away from our headquarters in Roubaix. It is therefore with great pleasure that we dress the Cofidis team 'à la ville' and that we will follow their exploits with passion.
Cédric VASSEUR, general manager of Cofidis: "We are very happy to see the staff and our riders wearing the colours of the Jules brand. The team is delighted to be associated with a brand whose values we share and whose territorial proximity to the Hauts-de-France region. It is very rewarding and exciting to contribute at our level to the development of products intended for people who regularly travel by bike. Having the confidence of a brand like Jules, which promotes elegance and is involved in cycling, is a great source of pride for us.

Jules Deloffre
Our Jules Collection is named after the French cyclist, also known as the acrobat, Jules Deloffre. He was given this name because he performed iconic acrobatic maneuvers in front of the crowd when he reached the finish line of the stages. He took part in fourteen editions of the Tour de France between 1908 and 1928, completing seven of them. Between 1920 and 1985 he held the record for the most number of participations in the Tour de France, which was only surpassed in 1967.
The collection
The Jules collection consists of, among other things , cycling jerseys, cycling jackets , bib-shorts & tights , vests, gloves, and much more for both men and women. Furthermore, we can offer combined bundles so that you can get complete outfits, such as " Go with Jules " and " Jules, Jules, Jules ".
See our Jules collection for men here.
What is the isolés category?
In the earlier years of the Tour de France, the cyclists participated as individuals, as the tour organizer, Henri Desgrange, wanted the Tour de France to showcase the individual strength of the cyclists. In the mentioned years, cyclists could participate without sponsors and division into teams, as they were instead categorized under different names. The first name was isolles.

isolés is about that feeling we all have as cyclists, those moments in a ride when we can reflect inwards, meditate on what it means to be a part of something much bigger, but still individual.

21 COLLECTIBLE STAGES: THE TOUR DE FRANCE LAUNCHES ITS FIRST DIGITAL COLLECTION
On January 9th, the Tour de France is launching its first collection of digital collectibles representing the 21 stages of the Tour de France 2023. The opportunity for the Tour de France community to appropriate even more the 2023 route. Each participant will be able to collect for free one of the stages through playing games on the Tour de France. 21 of these stages will give their owners the chance to live a VIP experience on the associated stage of the Tour de France 2023. The other collectibles will allow the players to complete the collection and maybe win another VIP experience on the Champs-Elysées or other exclusive prizes. A secondary market where players may sell and exchange their collectibles will be created. Revenues generated for the Tour de France by the secondary market will be donated to the “Riding into the Future” initiatives.
The Tour de France launches its first ever digital collection: “21 COLLECTIBLE STAGES”. For the first time, Tour de France fans will have the chance to become the owner of “exclusive Tour de France digital collectibles” (C. Prudhomme).
The digital collectibles will represent the 21 stages of the 2023 Tour de France route through a 3D animation of each stage. All these digital collectibles will be accessible for free to the general public at https://collectible.letour.fr. In order to obtain these digital collectibles, fans will have to take part in online quests (quizzes, challenges, social media activities…) to earn points over the course of 21 days. At the end of those 21 days, the highest-ranked participants will receive a digital mystery box containing one of these official Tour de France 2023 collectibles.
Among them, 21 randomly chosen ones, defined as “Unique” (one for each stage), will give their owners an access to a VIP experience for the 2023 stage in question. For the first time ever, the Tour de France is giving its fans the chance to immerse themselves in the world’s greatest professional race.
At the end of this initial phase, the owners of a 2023 route digital collectible will be able to carry on their journey on the platform. The second phase of this operation will be based on a playful collection approach: gather a certain number of the Tour de France 2023 stages to obtain more or less exclusive rewards depending on the level of completion of the collection.
In order to animate this new community and for its members to share their discoveries, a dedicated Discord channel will be created and made accessible to all the Tour de France fans.
Revenues generated for the Tour de France by the secondary market, on which participants will be able to sell and exchange their digital collectibles, will all be donated by the Tour de France to its “Riding into the Future” initiatives, which are working towards making cycling possible for all.
These digital collectibles will be hosted through the blockchain technology Polygon, particularly well-reputed for its very limited energy consumption.
The key dates
- January 3rd: registration opening
- From January 9th to 30th: the platform opens and the 21-day quest period begins
- January 30th-31st: quest period ends, digital collectibles are distributed, 21 VIP-experience winners are announced and the secondary market opens
Christian Prudhomme , General Director of the Tour de France: “The Tour de France starts 2023 with this innovation for its fans. The real popular celebration in July that characterizes the Tour de France creates a proximity with the its public all along the 3,500km of its route. The digital collection of the Tour de France 2023 stages responds to this logic: everyone will have the opportunity to obtain exclusive digital collectibles the “Grande Boucle”. The luckiest ones will be able to experience unique moments on the Tour.”

Canvases and cobblestones: how to navigate Nantes’ arts and culture scene
The French city of Nantes has spent the last two decades quietly transforming itself into one of country’s most important artistic and cultural centres — these are just some of the showstoppers not to miss.
The long green line twists and turns on Nantes’ city pavements for 14 miles. Why? It’s leading visitors to more than 100 different outdoor artworks, standout monuments, parks, buildings, architectural features and artistic playgrounds for both adults and children. Every summer, with this green line as its focal point, the city stages a cultural festival, Le Voyage à Nantes , during which artists, architects, designers, gardeners and DJs are invited to place new works and stage new events along the trail. This year’s festival is scheduled to run from 6 July to 8 September.
Le Voyage à Nantes offers an ideal way of discovering the city's artistic side, but there are plenty of other ways to explore its creative culture throughout the year. Just outside Nantes, there’s also a 75-mile wine trail, the Voyage dans le Vignoble , which leads visitors on a boozy loop through the local vineyards, from Nantes to the Italianesque town of Clisson. Along the way are works of art, recreational spaces, castles, a museum, windmill and numerous wine cellars. The art on display comes in a plethora of forms — from shops signs to statues — with a mixture of both temporary and permanent installations.
Heading further west along the Loire River is a 37-mile-long artistic trail called Estuaire Nantes < > Saint-Nazaire which showcases 33 sculptures, installations and architectural projects. The variety of works on show is astounding: a human foot the size of a lorry; a giant yellow tape measure; a series of bright, luminous rings and, perhaps the most striking of all, Le Serpent d'océan — a 425ft-long aluminium skeleton of a sea serpent, installed on the foreshore of the Loire estuary so that it emerges and submerges according to the tides. From April to October, a two-and-a-half hour river cruise follows a similar route. Read on for seven of the city's most striking cultural hotspots.
1. Les Machines de l’île
It’s the Grand Elephant that strikes you first. Constructed of wood and steel, 40ft high and weighing nearly 50 tonnes, it’s become something of an emblem of Nantes. It’s powered by a motor, and with space on board for 49 passengers, it regularly takes walks along the Loire riverside, trumpeting loudly and spraying water from its trunk. The giant pachyderm forms the centre of this vast exhibition of mechanical art — on the Île de Nantes in the Loire River, specifically in the city's former shipyard area — that’s dedicated to mechanical animals. Think a spider, a heron, a giant ant, a chameleon and a whole carousel of creatures from the deep. In fact, there's an entire workshop where the mechanical animals are created and tested which is open to the public. Much of this mind-bending attraction pays homage to the futuristic drawings of Leonardo da Vinci and the sci-fi stories of Nantes’ most famous son, Jules Verne. Not only can visitors get up close to the machines, some, like the Grand Elephant, can be boarded for rides.
2. The Château des ducs de Bretagne
Built in the late 15 th century, this castle in Nantes’ medieval quarter is a stout fortress from the outside but has an elegant palace within the ramparts. Inside, you’ll find the Musée d’Histoire de Nantes, which charts the city’s complicated history from medieval times through to the slave trade and the two world wars.
3. Musée d’arts de Nantes
Situated right in the heart of the city, between the cathedral and the botanical gardens, this museum holds more than 13,000 works dating from the 13 th century all the way up to the present day, with contributions from the likes of Delacroix, Monet, Picasso, Kandinsky and Kapoor. The gallery was renovated and reopened in 2017, and now includes the Cube — four storeys dedicated to contemporary art — created by British architecture firm Stanton Williams.
4. HAB Galerie
This contemporary art gallery — on the western tip of the Île de Nantes — regularly features paintings, sculptures, videos and installations from a wealth of fascinating artists. The 15,070sq ft space is usually dedicated to just one artist per season, and is also home to a bookshop covering contemporary art, architecture, design and graphic novels. HAB stands for Hangar à Bananes, a nod to the building’s previous incarnation as a banana-ripening warehouse.
5. Musée Dobrée
Musée Dobrée — in the upmarket Graslin neighbourhood of Nantes — has been closed for the past 13 years, but is set to reopen in May 2024 in a 15 th -century manor house and neo-medieval palace. More than 2,000 artworks, from prehistorical times to the 20 th century, will be displayed across more than half an acre of exhibition space. The museum was originally built by local ship owner and art-lover Thomas Dobrée who, during his life, amassed a collection of more than 10,000 pieces of art.
6. Le Lieu Unique
Housed in a former biscuit factory on Nantes’ Canal Saint-Félix, this convivial arts centre showcases live music, DJs, theatre, cinema, dance, circus acts, literature and visual arts. There’s also a bar, a restaurant and a Turkish bath. Past and present exhibitions include theatre productions by celebrated actor and director Olivier Martin-Salvan and Italian playwright Romeo Castellucci.
7. Mémorial de l'Abolition de l'Esclavage
This memorial to the abolition of slavery , which opened in 2012 on the riverside Quai de la Fosse, is located on the very spot from which many ships involved in the Atlantic slave trade originally set sail. As the curators explain: ‘It pays tribute to those who have fought and those who are still fighting against human trafficking and slavery around the world. It’s not intended as a historical exhibit, but as a place to remember, to act as a warning and to send out a universal message.’
