Usher, real name Usher Raymond IV, is an American R&B singer-songwriter born in Dallas, Texas. Usher is one of the best selling artists of all time, having sold over 65 million records worldwide.

At the age of 13, Usher was spotted at a talent contest and Signed to LaFace records, where he released his debut album, “Usher” in 1994. Despite many of the tracks being produced by Sean ‘P Diddy’ Combs, the album failed to make much of an impact on the American public.

Three years later, Usher released his second studio album “My Way” and secured his first number one hit in the UK with “You Make Me Wanna…”. Usher rose to fame in the US after the release of his breakthrough single “Nice & Slow”. Which ended up being certified six-times platinum in the US.

Usher’s following two albums “8701” and “Confessions” surpassed the success of “My Way” with multiple number one singles in the US including “U Remind Me”, “U Got it Bad”, “Yeah!”, “Burn”, Confessions Part II” and “My Boo”. The albums won him five of his eight Grammy Awards, and the 1.1 million initial sales of “Confessions” upon its release were the highest recorded for a male R&B artist.

With these successes and an enormous fan base under his belt, Usher had no problems getting his subsequent three albums, “Here I Stand”, “Raymond Vs. Raymond” and “Looking 4 Myself” to the number one spot in the US charts. Usher has toured extensively across the globe to promote his music and bring it live to his fans.

A huge Michael Jackson fan, Usher cites the King of Pop as his biggest influence, and was given the opportunity to perform at the legend’s funeral service in 2009. Taking after his hero, Usher’s style is distinct yet fresh, meaning that he is easily able to collaborate with other artists, and he does so frequently. Usher has worked with Beyoncé, Nicki Minaj, Ludacris, Pitbull, will.i.am and Lil Wayne amongst others.

A keen businessman and philanthropist in addition to his musical career, Usher is clearly a man who likes to work hard and give his all. His constant success is hard earned and long may it continue.

I remember seeing Usher in concert for the first time back in 2002. He was hot back then and he still is today. Although his main gig lately has been being a judge on The Voice, don't let that make you think he still doesn't have it. Take it from me, Usher's live performances are just as amazing as they were years ago. His good-looking body, charm, and talent pulls you in and you'll be hypnotized for the whole concert.

When he sings off of his old albums such as "Confessions" or "You Remind Me", you can't help but sing along. It's like time-travelling back to my college days, watching his videos on MTV or buying his CD's (wow, remember CD players?!). He really gives his performances his all, and it's quite obvious because before the first half of the concert is over, he is already sweating. When he dances like Michael Jackson, you see how talented he really is, he's not jut an incredible voice.

His stage setup isn't super distracting either. The most he has is huge video displays, stares, fire, and smoke. Although it's obvious everyone loves his old songs, when he starts with his latest ones such as "Moving Mountains", the crowd melts. At moments like that, it's as if he's singing to you personally; I'd bet there isn't a girl at that concert who's not wishing he was theirs! He has a magical way of bringing you on a rollercoaster ride, singing break-up songs and then switching to songs where you can't help but dance – it's so much fun. Usher's live concerts are just simply awesome.

Usher's show was by far the best show that I've ever seen. It was so good that I literally lost my voice from screaming too much. Everything was perfect from his performance to the the lighting! He sang all of his greatest hits in which Nice N Slow is my favorite! I knew that he was going to put on a good show but it was far more better than I could have ever imagined!!!! It was my very first time seeing him in concert and it won't be the last. He definitely did not disappoint and my favorite part of the show was the finale when he took his shirt off. I just totally lost it and am paying the price for it today because now I lost my voice!!!! Lol!!!! But it's all good because I love Usher and I will go see him anytime!!!! ???

Usher can dance his butt off! This was my first time seeing him perform live although it wasn't a full concert, Usher only performed one song but it was more of a teaser for what is to come. He just announced a tour and when he comes to NY I will be there. I can already tell it will be an electrifying show! Can't wait to hear all my favs...

This Phenomenal Man puts on thee Best performance. When you see him live even if you weren't a fan you become a fan by the opening of the concert. He gives 1000 percent to the fans when he performes whether it's in state or international. I will Always support this Euphoric Artist, Always worth my time and money.

AMAZING!!! This is probably the best concert I've been to. Usher is the king, great job! Couldn't stop dancing. Lights and all the effects were awesome! Sound was a bit to loud sometimes though, but doesn't matter because the whole concert was on point. Thanks to one of the best musicians and great person!

This is a show that I will forever remember!! The talent, the skill, the moves on that man!! I could go on about his voice. There is nothing comparable to hearing his voice live. It sent chills! This song kick app helped me reserve coveted floor seats with its notifications. One for the books.

definitely worth the money. the vibe was great and the night was one to remember. I've never seen such extravagant productions from the lighting, live band and amazing vocals. Let's not forget his moves. I'm already geared up to see him again, its a must x

The entire lineup for the show was great. I was kinda disappointed in Usher however. He did more dancing than singing. He had a good set list though. After waiting for over 30 minutes for his appearance though it was just not as good as it could have been.

He was born in Chattanooga Tennessee I went to school with him damn how money changes where u come from guess h3 doesn't remember singing to me at his last day in Chattanooga and he promised to come back hehehehe still one of my favorite singers

Usher Announces Dates For His 'Past Present Future Tour'

Usher has announced his upcoming tour just days before his upcoming album drops. On Tuesday, February 6, the Grammy award-winning singer shared the dates for his "Past Present Future Tour." Usher is set to kick off his tour in Washington, D.C. in August. From there, he'll continue to trek across the U.S. as he hits major cities like Boston, Philadelphia, Detroit, Brooklyn, N.Y., Miami and more. The Atlanta native will close out the tour in Chicago at the end of October. Based on the tour's title, fans will get to experience every era of Usher's career from his self-titled debut to his brand new LP Coming Home .

Tickets for the tour are set to go on sale on the same day his ninth album drops. Coming Home will hold hit singles like "Good Good" with 21 Savage and Summer Walker plus "Risk It All" featuring H.E.R. It will also feature contributions from Latto , The-Dream , Burna Boy and more. Fans have been waiting on Usher's announcement ever since the news first broke about his plans to tour following the end of his residency in Las Vegas. Fans will able to get a taste of what to expect from Usher's tour during his highly-anticipated performance at the Super Bowl LVIII Halftime Show . He recently told Vogue about his plans for the 13-minute set. "It has to be perfect," Usher said. "I've been doing this for 30 years. I want people who have been a part of that journey to feel like it's a celebration for everybody, for all of us, from the beginning up until this point." Presale tickets for Usher's tour begin on February 9 at 10 a.m. General sales begin on Monday, February 12. Check out the full list of dates below.

Just days before performing in the 2024 NFL Super Bowl halftime show, Usher has announced a nationwide concert tour that will kickoff this August, with one stop in Boston, Massachusetts.

The multi-platinum, eight-time Grammy Award-winning global entertainment icon is scheduled to perform at TD Garden on Tuesday, Aug. 27, the third stop of his 24-city coast-to-coast tour that will also include two stops in Toronto, Canada.

From an incredibly successful Las Vegas residency to scoring the 2024 Super Bowl halftime show, the “Confessions” singer is experiencing an influx of attention — from a new and curious audience as well as those filled with nostalgia for his smooth 2000s R&B.

On Friday, two days before he appears at Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas for Sin City’s inaugural Super Bowl, Usher will release "Coming Home," his first new solo album in eight years.

The new Usher album will feature collaborations with Burna Boy, Latto, The-Dream, H.E.R., BTS member Jungkook and Pheelz.

Usher Supersizes His ‘USHER: PAST PRESENT FUTURE Tour’ With 17 New Dates

Usher Mania has begun! His new album COMING HOME is finally here, his performance during the Super Bowl LVIII Halftime Show promises to be iconic and his USHER: PAST PRESENT FUTURE Tour is shaping up be the must-attend concert event of the year. Before tickets for the arena tour have even gone on sale to the general public, the global superstar has already expanded the tour with a slew of new dates.

Initially scheduled for 24 shows in 17 cities, USHER: PAST PRESENT FUTURE has been supersized with the addition of 17 more show dates. No additional cities have been added to the itinerary, but all previously announced cities now have at least two Usher concerts on the calendar, with some locations getting three or four shows.

USHER: PAST PRESENT FUTURE still kicks off in Washington, D.C. on August 20th at Capital One Arena. D.C. is among the cities where Usher has added a second show and Baltimore, Boston, Philadelphia, Detroit, Denver, Dallas, Austin, Charlotte and St. Louis are also on that list. Miami, Atlanta and Chicago will now get three shows out of Usher, while Brooklyn and Los Angeles will get a whopping four shows in each city. The new final date of the 41-date tour will now be on October 31st in Chicago at United Center.

Exclusive ticket presales for  Citi  cardmembers and  Verizon  customers are currently underway through Sunday, February 11th at 10 p.m. local time. Live Nation, who is producing this epic tour, also has a fan presale kicking off on Friday, February 9th that Usher lovers can access via Laylo . Tickets for the general public go on sale on Monday, February 12th at 10 a.m. local time on Live Nation’s  website .

Renowned entertainer Usher has announced a mammoth 2024 tour across North America promoting his next album 'Coming Home' . His Past Present Future tour kicks off August 20th in Washington, DC and continues through October visiting major markets like Philadelphia, Toronto, Brooklyn, Detroit, Los Angeles, Dallas, Miami, Atlanta and Chicago. Prior to the tour, the award-winning singer will be performing at the Super Bowl LVIII Halftime Show in Las Vegas along with Post Malone , Andra Day and Reba McEntire .

Usher will be releasing his ninth studio album 'Coming Home' on February 9th, 2024 via Mega/Gamma. The new album follows up 2016's 'Hard II Love' which reached #5 on the Billboard 200 and features guest appearances by Young Thug , Future and Rubén Blades . The prior year, the multi-Platinum artist wrapped up his UR Experience Tour which originally launched in 2014 and was joined by August Alsina and DJ Cassidy . Usher tour 2024 announced : The popular singer R&B Usher will perform at the Park MGM’s Dolby Live Theater as part of his upcoming residency in Las Vegas later this year. As a bonus, the eight-time winner of the Grammy Awards could introduce you to songs you have not yet heard at one of its 23 concerts, which will take place from July 15 to October 29.

The "R'n'B king", Usher Raymond, burst onto the music scene in 1994 and was the first artist to have a single number one on the UK Singles Chart and Billboard Hot 100 in the 1990s, 2000s and 2010. Challenging himself creatively and testing musical boundaries are characteristics that have defined Usher’s career since he was discovered 20 years ago as part of Star Search. Since then, he has sold more than 43 million albums worldwide. Billboard has named him the second most popular artist of the 2000s. His album Confessions, released in 2004, sold ten million copies and was ranked the best solo album of the decade.

Prior to the residency, Usher will lead the huge Lovers and Friends festival in Las Vegas on May 14 and 15. The main artists who will perform alongside the singer of "Caught Up" are Lauryn Hill, TLC, Ludacris, Lil Jon and Nelly, to name a few. Everything you need to know about the R&B legend’s ‘Past Present Future’ tour in Europe

Following the massive success of his Super Bowl halftime show, R&B legend Usher announced several European tour dates last week, including six shows at London’s O2 arena . Unsurprisingly, all 12 shows sold out – but don’t give up hope yet, as the superstar has announced three new Europe shows today.  Usher will play a seventh show in London on April 11, a second show in Paris on April 16, and a fourth night in Amsterdam on April 26.

When is Usher going on his Europe tour in 2025?

The ‘Climax’ singer will tour several European cities in spring 2025, with 15 shows scheduled from April 1 to May 2 . 

Where is Usher performing as part of his 2025 European tour?

Usher will be performing at London ’s O2 Arena  on  April 1, 2, 5, 6, 8,  9  and  11 ; Paris ’s Accor Arena on April 15 and 16 ; Amsterdam ’s Ziggo Dome on April 22, 23, 25 and 26; and Berlin ’s Uber Arena on May 1 and 2 . 

When do tickets go on sale? 

The first 12 shows have already sold out, but tickets for the three newly added shows will go on sale this week. The presale runs from February 28, while the general sale runs from March 4 on Usher’s official website ; both presale and sale are available from 10am local time. Venue presales run from February 29 at 10am local time. 

How much will tickets cost?

At presale, ticket prices for the singer’s London shows range from £77.60 for Level 4 C seats to £144.10 for Level 1 A seats. Standing tickets are priced at £105.10. Tickets for Usher’s Paris show range from €89.50 to €188.50. Amsterdam tickets start at €72.83, and Berlin tickets start at €70.

Regarding the newly added dates, Usher said in a statement: ‘It's been a minute, Europe! I'm as hyped as you are to be back. The love for these shows has been incredible, and I'm truly blessed and thankful for each and every one of you. Seven epic nights in London, four in Amsterdam, two in Paris and Berlin and counting... get ready for an A-TOWN takeover!’

EFOC 2024: Usher’s ‘Confessions’ Remains A Timeless Classic 20 Years Later

O n the second evening of the ESSENCE Festival of Culture Evening Concert Series, the Grammy Award-winning Usher Raymond rocked the stage to celebrate the 20th anniversary of his iconic album Confessions .

Building upon the excitement of this weekend, the musician took the audience to church with a stirring performance featuring a beautiful choir. The set began with a montage highlighting Usher’s entire career, followed by the artist hitting the stage to his hit record, “Yeah.” He followed that up with the introspective “Throwback,” and the upbeat “Caught Up.”

Known for his show stopping performances throughout his career—and his Vegas residency—Raymond brought out two amazing entertainers for an intimate dance session before into the song “Bad Girl.” As a master performer, he serenaded the crowd with the record “Seduction” while donning an eye-catching, black mink coat. After the songs “Come Follow Me” and “That’s What It’s Made For,” gave a tribute to some of the legends that impacted him along his journey to superstardom.

Artists such as Luther Vandross and Prince served as an inspiration to Usher throughout his career, and during his set on Saturday evening, he paid homage to them by telling the audience personal stories about the two, before singing amazing renditions of “Please U and “Do It To Me.” Usher also performed a cut from the deluxe version of his chart-topping album, the beautiful duet “ My Boo ,” which features Alicia Keys . Although she wasn’t in attendance for the set, the audience filled in for her perfectly, reciting the pianist’s lovely lyrics word for word.

Perhaps the most notable moment of the concert was when Usher ran through his tracks “Can U Handle It?,” “Let It Burn,” and “Superstar.” He concluded the Confessions portion of the evening with the album’s title track, which was met with a standing ovation from the entire Caesar’s Superdome.

After a brief intermission, the singer then proceeded to give out tickets to his upcoming World Tour, and ended the set with the song “Lovers & Friends.” For two decades, Confessions has been a staple in R&B music, and continues to withstand the test of time. On this special night in New Orleans, Usher delivered a truly unforgettable performance, further solidifying his place as a legend in the music industry.

We’ve got good news and bad news, Livies.

First, the good.

On June 23, Olivia Rodrigo wrapped the European leg of her ‘GUTS World Tour’ in Portugal.

A little less than a month later, the tireless 21-year-old pop star is returning to North America with special guests PinkPantheress and The Breeders for her second batch of shows in the U.S. and Canada.

And, while she doesn’t have any stops in New York or New Jersey scheduled this time around, she’ll get close when she performs at Philadelphia’s Wells Fargo Center on Friday, July 19 and Washington, D.C.’s Capital One Arena on Saturday, July 20.

Now for the bad.

Based on our findings, tickets aren’t very cheap to see Rodrigo live in July and August.

At the time of publication, the lowest price we could find for a single North American show was $239 before fees on Vivid Seats.

Other concerts have seats starting anywhere from $268 to $642 before fees.

Still, it’s hard to put a price on belting your heart out along with Olivia on “drivers license,” “vampire,” “good 4 u” and so many more of her sing-a-long bangers.
