Concert film [ ]
The 1989 World Tour Live , a 2015 concert film by Taylor Swift is released on December 20, 2015, exclusively via Apple Music. Directed by Jonas Åkerlund, the film follows the Sydney stop of the Australian leg of Swift's fourth headlining concert tour, The 1989 World Tour. The show, attended by 75,980 fans, is one of the most attended concerts ever to date for a solo artist, most notably, Swift .
Signs were displayed at the sold out Sydney concert on November 28, 2015, at the ANZ Stadium which said "Today's events are being recorded and filmed for global streaming, and may also form part of a television program... for commercial and promotional purposes."
Although there was no further information about what the filming was for at the time, there was speculation that it would form a DVD of the 1989 World Tour to be released once the tour concluded its run in Melbourne in late 2015. Later speculation involved an Apple Music Video launch, which was proved to be correct.
As such, " All You Had to Do Was Stay " and " This Love " were added back to the show after having been left off the set list for several months, making the Sydney setlist identical to look a lot like Tokyo when the tour premiered.

Celebrities making appearances in the film include Mick Jagger, Jason Derulo, Idina Menzel, Justin Timberlake, Wiz Khalifa, and Alanis Morissette. It was directed by Jonas Åkerlund.
Clips from the film were later compiled for the music video for the seventh and final single from the album, " New Romantics ".

The custom stage built for the 1989 Tour is one-of-a-kind. It was a classic catwalk shape that's 100 ft long but the center part could detach from the main catwalk. It a was semi-modular type design able to rise up and do a 360° turn, it permitted to get closer to fans, the technology was like a propeller system.

Taylor Swift in Sydney: Eras Tour tickets, times, set list & everything you need to know
Your ultimate guide to Taylor Swift shows in Sydney
Taylor Swift is in Sydney. She arrived during Monday's huge thunder storm that caused havoc around Sydney – and ever since, she's been causing a Taylor storm, stepping out at restaurants and the zoo – and yesterday, just a day before her first Sydney show, she's released MORE additional tickets .
It looks like those of us who have tickets are in for a real treat when she hits the stage at Accor Stadium in Sydney Olympic Park for four nights this week, from Friday, February 23 to Monday, February 26. Time Out Melbourne Editor Leah Glynn was at one of her Melbourne shows, and says, "Believe the hype, folks. Taylor Swift's Eras Tour is everything you are hoping it to be: magical, emotional, spectacular, transformative. It's three-and-a-half hours of pure musical joy, best enjoyed with 96,000 of your closest friends (the stadium atmosphere at the MCG was unlike anything I've ever experienced before). I laughed, I cried, I sang and danced my little heart out – and I'd do it all again if anyone has a spare ticket. All hail, Queen Taylor."
If you were lucky enough to nab a ticket, here's everything you need to know about her Sydney shows...
When is Taylor Swift’s Eras Tour in Sydney?
Tay Tay will take to the stage at Accor Stadium (after hitting Melbourne up for three shows) for her first Sydney Eras Tour concert on Friday, February 23. She will also perform on Saturday 24, Sunday 25 and Monday 26 before heading to Singapore to sing her heart out for a whole SIX shows. ( Here’s where Taylor Swift is staying in Sydney and all the places she could be eating at .)
What time will Taylor Swift come on stage?
All gates to Accor Stadium will open at 4.30pm... for those people who are reaaaaally keen to get in early to secure some merch . However, every single seat at the Sydney nights of the Eras Tour is assigned, which means there’s no point rocking up super early to get a spot in the (non-existent) mosh pit.
The music will kick off at 6.20pm, with pop princess Sabrina Carpenter as the opening act. We can’t be 100 per cent sure exactly what time Taylor will come on stage, but all signs point to around 7.30pm or 8pm at the latest.
What can I bring to Taylor Swift Sydney?
There are specific rules for what you can and can’t bring to Taylors Eras Tour in Sydney. Here are the main things to remember:
You can bring:
- One bag with a maximum of two compartments, smaller than A4 size. It doesn’t need to be clear, in case you were wondering.
- Friendship bracelets (of course), but you're meant to wear them on your arms!
- A rain poncho
- A portable charger smaller than the size of your phone
- Sunscreen, but not the aerosol kind
- A sealed, clear, soft plastic water bottle no larger than 600ml
You can’t bring:
- Outside food
- D-rings or carabiners for friendship bracelets
- Signs bigger than 28 x 45cm
- Studded jewellery (sorry Rep girlies)
- Metal or hard plastic containers
Are there any Taylor Swift Sydney tickets left?
This won’t come as a shock to anyone, but demand for Taylor Swift tickets has been through the roof (and into the stratosphere, at this point). A limited number of new Taylor Swift tickets went on sale at 4pm on Thursday. Aside from the new tickets, resale through Ticketek Marketplace is your best bet – be wary of scams on other platforms!
What’s the full setlist for the Eras Tour?
The Eras Tour has a setlist like no other, spanning a staggering three hours (and 44 songs). Since the tour has already been travelling around the world, we mostly know what to expect, save for some nightly ‘surprise songs’. Here’s the Eras Tour setlist for Australia:

On Tuesday, February 13, a new batch of tickets dropped for the Sydney shows – as expected, they were snapped up quickly and sold out within hours. The tickets on sale were for seats with partially obscured views.

Taylor Swift has officially added several songs from her newest record, The Tortured Poets Department , to her Eras Tour.
Fresh off the release of her well-received 11th studio album , Swift returned to the stage on Thursday (9 May) in Paris , France , where she performed several of the new tracks live for the first time.
Following performances from her 1989 album, the 34-year-old superstar re-entered the stage dressed in a white gown, before launching into tracks from TTPD .
She began with the album’s sixth song, “But Daddy I Love Him”, before jumping around and performing “Who’s Afraid of Little Old Me”, “I Can Do It With a Broken Heart”, “loml”, “So High School”, “The Smallest Man Who Ever Lived” and more.
Ahead of her highly anticipated return to the road, Swift teased fans with a YouTube video of her tour rehearsal, where the intro of “Fortnight” could be heard playing in the background. “A fortnight til Paris,” the caption read.
“We are going to discover a slightly modified show since she has released a new album,” her French tour manager had confirmed in an interview with Radio France prior to the show.
Thursday’s concert marked her first of four in Paris, the first stop on her 18-city European leg.
It was recently reported that 20 per cent of the tickets for the four sold-out Paris shows were bought by Americans , who travelled to Europe to see her on tour.
Meanwhile, Stockholm , the tour’s next stop, expects about 10,000 concert-goers from the US.
Following its release, TTPD topped the Billboard 200 chart, selling 2.61 million units, the highest for any album since Adele’s 25 in 2015.
It’s Swift’s 14th chart-topping album, tying her with Jay-Z for the most No 1s by a recording artist, placing both slightly behind The Beatles’ 19 top albums.
Enjoy unlimited access to 70 million ad-free songs and podcasts with Amazon Music

TTPD also gives Swift the most No 1 albums on the Billboard 200 chart among female recording artists. Save for her 2006 eponymous debut album, which peaked at No 5, all of Swift’s albums have managed to reach the No 1 spot.
The album features collaborations with rapper Post Malone and Florence Welch of English band Florence + the Machine.
Reacting in shock to her album’s reception , Swift wrote in an Instagram caption: “My mind is blown. I’m completely floored by the love you’ve shown this album.”
“2.6 million ARE YOU ACTUALLY SERIOUS?? Thank you for listening, streaming, and welcoming Tortured Poets into your life. Feeling completely overwhelmed.”

See Travis Kelce show off his ‘signature' dance move to ‘Karma' at ‘Eras Tour' in Singapore
According to taylor swift's fans, the nfl star has a penchant for a particular routine during swift's final song on the “eras tour” setlist., by drew weisholtz | today • published march 9, 2024.
Travis Kelce is back to support Taylor Swift on her “Eras Tour.”
After Kelce traveled to Australia at the end of February to watch Swift perform in Sydney on the international leg of her tour , he made his way to Asia to attend back to back shows at National Stadium in Singapore.
The Super Bowl champion captured the attention of Swift’s fans on social media for his reaction to the singer’s lyric change in her song “Karma .”
24/7 New York news stream: Watch NBC 4 free wherever you are
The cheeky line change originated in November 2023 at a show in Argentina with Kelce in attendance as the singer changed the line from “Karma is the guy on the screen / Coming straight home to me” to “Karma is the guy on the Chiefs / Coming straight home to me.”
In a video shared by Lara Chan on the social media site X , Kelce was spotted backstage at the stadium during Swift’s last song for the night on March 8. After Swift sang the changed lyric, the NFL star threw his hands in the air and began to wave his arms and sway his hips to the beat as he danced to the final chorus of the song.

The video was reshared on a fan account for Swift and Kelce, garnering a wide array of reactions from fans, including some users pointing out his “signature” dance moves to the song.

Adele says fans won't see her for ‘an incredibly long time' after residency ends
“Never beating proudest boyfriend ever allegations!!!!” one fan wrote on X .
Another fan responded to the caption on the post which read “THE GUY ON THE CHIEFS,” adding , “You mean the first lady of Eras tour?”
Swift performed at National Stadium again on March 9 for her final show in Singapore and her last show until the “Eras Tour” resumes on May 9 in Paris. Kelce was in attendance and was spotted by fans supporting the “Cruel Summer” singer in a video shared on X .
The football star also appeared to exchange friendship bracelets with a fan backstage at the show in another video shared on social media , a staple at Swift's tour.
Kelce’s trip to Singapore comes amid a whirlwind travel schedule. Earlier this week, he was in Philadelphia to support his brother , Jason Kelce, when he announced his retirement from the NFL.
While Swift may have been on stage performing her hours-long setlist spanning her entire career , Kelce was also a fan favorite on social media for his supportive behavior during the show.
One fan account captured the Kansas City Chiefs tight end dancing while Swift performed a hit from “Reputation” during one of the six concerts she’s hosting at the venue.
“Travis Kelce and friends vibing to ‘Look What You Made Me Do,’” the post on X read .
“Travis in his Rep Era ,” someone wrote on another post on X while Kelce grooved along to “...Ready for It?”
“Travis Kelce at Taylor’s fifth Singapore show tonight!” another fan account captioned a photo of Kelce.
Another clip, purportedly after the show, captured Swift racing into Kelce’s arms to give him a hug and a kiss.
“SCREAMING,” one fan shared in response to the video on X.
“they’re so end game,” another replied .
“She’s in love, she’s in love and she’s doesn’t care who knows it!” one person posted .
Kelce’s friend Harry Clark shared a video to his Instagram story on March 8, showing off a wristband from the tour, while tagging his location as National Stadium. He also posted a video of Swift singing onstage, captioning it by writing, “GO TAY TAY.”
Travis Kelce goes to Australia with Taylor Swift
Last month, the superstar tight end was with Swift when her tour took her to Australia . Before her concerts, the pair went to the Sydney Zoo . Kelce said it was an amazing experience .
“It’s a wild ride, but I will tell you this: Australia? Did not disappoint. It was amazing over there,” he said on the March 6 episode of the “New Heights” podcast he hosts with his brother.
He also said the concerts there were something to behold, comparing them to the shows she did in November in Argentina.
“Sydney did not disappoint,” he said. “I’m pretty sure the crowds over there are — they’re already rowdy. The Australians are pretty rowdy. They like to have a good time. I like to have a good time.
“They were just like a little bit louder than the Argentinian crowd. And I was not expecting that because Argentina was so f------ loud, and they were, they were into it. And so was Sydney. Taylor is very fond of performing in Australia because of the crowds over there and how into it they get. Shout out to Australia for showing up, showing out.”
Travis Kelce sees Taylor Swift in Argentina
Kelce has a handle on Argentina because he saw her perform in Buenos Aires, the first of the three international trips he took to see Swift on her "Eras Tour." She infamously kissed him after a show, which set off a frenzy because the couple had not yet officially gone public with their romance at that time. Swift publicly discussed their relationship for the first time in December when Time magazine named her the Person of the Year .
During her Nov. 11 show, Swift also changed the lyrics in “Karma” from “Karma is the guy on the screen/ Coming straight home to me” to “Karma is the guy on the Chiefs/ Coming straight home to me” — something she also did in Australia and again in Singapore .

Further, the album’s collected songs have generated more than 220 million on-demand official streams (audio and video combined).
After only three days on sale, 1989 (Taylor’s Version) has the second-largest sales week of 2023, trailing only the debut frame of Swift’s own Speak Now (Taylor’s Version) , which sold 507,000 in its opening week.
In terms of total equivalent album units earned, 1989 (Taylor’s Version) already has the second largest week of the year, once again second only to Speak Now (Taylor’s Version) , which bowed with 716,000 units.
