• Day 1: Ahmedabad – Dwarka. Pick-up from Ahmedabad. On the way visit Jamnagar Bal Hanuman Mandir. Proceed to Dwarka. Check-in to the hotel. Visit Dwarkadhish temple in the evening. Overnight stay in Dwarka.
• Day 2: Dwarka Local. Visit Bet Dwarka early morning by 8 AM. On your way back visit Gopi Talav, Nageshwar Jyotirlinga and Rukmini Dwarka. Attend evening aarti at Dwarkadish temple. Overnight stay at the hotel in Dwarka.
• Day 3: Dwarka – Porbandar – Somnath. Early morning check-out from the hotel and depart to Moola Dwaraka and visit the temple. Later depart to Porbandar. At Porbandar visit Kirti Mandir – the place where Gandhiji was born. Visit Sudhama Dwarka Temple. Later proceed to Somnath and check-in to the hotel. • Somnath Jyotirlinga Temple

Somnath Temple  is the first among the  12 holy Jyotirlingas . This sacred temple is dedicated to Lord Shiva . The word Somnath translates to ‘ The Lord of the Moon ‘ which is a form of Lord Shiva.

2. Dwarkadhish Temple

Dwarkadhish Temple , one of the  Char Dham Pilgrimages, is dedicated to Lord Krishna. It is historically considered as the capital city of Lord Krishna’s empire.

3. Nageshwar Jyotirlinga 

Nageshwar Temple is dedicated to Lord Shiva and is one of the 12 Jyotirlinga Shrines  mentioned in Shiva Purana. The major attraction of this temple is a 25-meters tall statue of Lord Shiva in a large garden with a pond surrounding the statue.

4. Bet Dwarka

Bet Dwarka is a beautiful island that is not only pleasing to the eyes but also soothes your soul. Also known as Shankhodhar, this place holds great significance as Sri Krishna ruled over Dwarka, residing in this place.

5. Rukmini Dwarka 

You might already know that Rukmini Dwarka temple is dedicated to Sri Krishna’s wife, Rukmini Devi. You can experience the most magnificent sunrise and sunset from this beautifully carved temple located 5km away from Dwarakadhish temple.

6. Moola Dwarka 

‘Moola’ Dwarka, which means ‘main’ Dwarka, is believed to be the original Dwarka mentioned in the Mahabharata. You will be surprised to know that this temple also is the first spot in Dwarka where Lord Krishna stepped in while he was entering the land.

7. Sudhama Dwarka 

Sudhama or Sudama, Lord Krishna’s childhood friend, visited him to lend some help for his survival. However, he left Dwarka without expressing his misery to Sri Krishna. This place was named ‘Sudhama Dwarka’ to memorialize the unconditional friendship between Sri Krishna and Sudhama.

No mobile phones, cameras, or electronic appliances are allowed inside the Somnath temple. Leather belts, auto car keys, and purses or handbags are allowed inside the premises for safety issues.

Shivraj beach is the most famous in Dwarka, and Somnath Beach is the best in Somnath.

It is not allowed to touch the Shivalinga in Somnath temple as one is not allowed to enter the sanctum. Visitors are allowed to watch it from a distance and offer their prayers.

We planned Dwarka and somnath trip from 29 to Mar to 1 Apr 2018 through Myoksha Travels. Myoksha travel made our trip memorable 1. The cab was in time and associated with us throughout the trip and driver was really good. 2. Myoksha travel agents or officials were in touch with us all long trip planning next day trip and suitably advising us when and where and what to see. 3. All places as per plan covered and also when time permitted extra places or sight seeing also arranged. 4. Sufficient care was taken as travel agents were responsive taking our concerns positively. 5. We prefer Myoksha travels for our future travels and also conveyed about Myoksha Travels to our families and friends. 6. The stay at Bansi Hotel in Dwarka and Sukh sagar in somnath was also good. Overall pleasant experience, as senior citizens and also kids also enjoyed.

Travelled recently 4D/3N with family ,(senior citizens and teenager)from Ahemdabad to Dwarka (via Jamnagar)stayed for 2 days .Covered all relevant temples.Reached Somnath via Porbander.stayed overnight at Somnath, visited all temples and Triveni ghat.Saw Gir forest and reached Ahemdabad.Innova was very comfortable ,tooks breaks as and when required.Driver was polite and curteous.Hotels booked were best..as asked for! Mr. Ravi Patel,who accompanied us was a fabulous company and guided us,he made our trip memorable…a big thank you to the whole team !!!

I had taken services of Myoksha Travels for my long pending Dwarka and Somnath tour in December 2017. Although it was a last minute program but well coordinated by Myoksha. Cherry on the top was our travel companion “Mr. Patel”, who was well versed with locations and also fun to be part of this road journey. Darshan at Dwarka, Somnath, Nageshwar, Bet-Dwarka was without any issues and will be part of our memory life long. Hotel at Dwarka (Mercure) was very good and well placed in small town of Dwarka. Hotel at Somnath (Hotel Sun Plaza) was OK with other hotels being fully booked. Way Back “Mr. Patel” also took us to Gir Forest Tour which is addition to our itinerary. Overall trip was a very good and definitely recommend to others.

At a distance of 3 km from Dwarka Railway Station, Gomati Sangam Ghat is a sacred bathing ghat on the banks of River Gomti in Dwarka, Gujarat. Situated behind the Dwarkadhish Temple, it is one among the popular places to visit in Dwarka. Gomti Ghat is situated at the mouth of Gomti River, a tributary of Holy Ganges, the most sacred river for all Hindus. The river originates in the Himalayan ranges of Nepal, flows down across many Indian states and finally empties into the Arabian Sea here. Gomti Ghat also has a great religious and mythological significance. According to myths River Gomati is the daughter of Sage Vashishta and her waters are powerful enough to purge one's mortal sins. Thus pilgrims make it a point to bathe in River Gomti and they usually take their holy dip into the Gomati Kund, the point of confluence of River Gomti and Arabian Sea. There are over 12 ghats surrounding the Gomati River, which are venues of Samudra Narayana Temple, Gomatiji Temple, the Panchanada .....

2 Samudra Narayana Temple

At a distance of 3 km from Dwarka Railway Station, Samudra Narayan Temple is a Hindu temple situated at Gomti Sangam Ghat in the holy town of Dwarka. Located behind the Dwarkadhish Temple, it is one of the must visit temples in Dwarka as part of Dwarka Packages. Situated at the confluence of River Gomti and the Arabian Sea, the Samudra Narayan Temple is dedicated to Goddess Gomti. According to the legend, River Gomti has been brought from heaven by Rishi Vasishtha to sanctify Rama after his battle with Ravana. After purification of Rama, Goddess Gomti manifested here on the ghat and got submerged into the Arabian Sea. At a distance of 3 km from Dwarka Railway Station, Sudama Setu is a wonderful hanging bridge built on Gomati River near Dwarkadhish Temple in Dwarka, Gujarat. It is one of the popular places to visit in Dwarka as part of Gujarat Tour Packages. Named after Sudama, the childhood friend of Lord Krishna, Sudama Setu connects Dwarkadhish Mandir of mainland Dwarka and Panchnad or Panchkui Tirth on the island in southeast of it. The bridge boasts of a great religious as well archaeological significance as the island has five sweet water wells called Panchkui associated with five Pandava brothers of Mahabharata. 1.The City of Lord Krishna

According to revered Hindu scriptures, Dwarka was built by Lord Krishna and came to be known as 'Kushasthali', 'Dwarawati' and finally 'Dwarka', meaning 'door to moksha'. 2.The Glorious Dwarkadhish Temple

The sacred beating heart of Dwarka is undoubtedly the magnificent Dwarkadhish Temple built over six historical structures, as validated by archaeological excavations. The present edifice with its soaring shikhars, intricately engraved pillars and dazzling flag mast was constructed in the 16th century over a 2000 year old site.

The temple follows the common mandala design of Hindu architecture with four gateways in four directions that gradually lead up to the inner sanctum housing the Dwarkadhish idol. The black shrine contains the 2.25 feet tall Lord Dwarkadhish idol carved from black basalt and bedecked in ostentatious gold finery and diamonds.

Day 1 : arrive ahmedabad; ahmedabad – dakor – ahmedabad.

Upon your arrival at Ahmedabad railway station/airport, you’ll be greeted by our tour representative who transfers you to hotel. Check into hotel, freshen up and later set out for an excursion to Dakor to visit the famous temple of Shree Krishna-Shree Ranchhodraiji. It is 80kms away from Ahmedabad and is a drive of approx 2 hours. On our way back to Ahmedabad, we visit some chief tourist spots in the city like Swaminarayan Temple, ISKON Temple, Gandhi Ashram, Hutheesing Jain Temple and Science city. Back to hotel for dinner and night stay.

Day 2 : Ahmedabad – Lothal – Rajkot

Today, post breakfast we leave for Rajkot en route Lothal. The total distance covered is 260kms and takes 5hrs to reach Rajkot. Lothal, also referred to as the ‘mound of the dead’. The archaeological excavation sites of Lothal give you some rare glimpses of the famous Harappan and Indus Valley Civilization. On reaching Rajkot, check into hotel, freshen up and later proceed for a city tour of Rajkot during which you visit places like Panch Nath Mahadeo Temple, Ishwarya Temple, Swami Narayan temple, Rotary Midtown Dolls Museum and Ramakrishna Ashram, Asaram Ji Babu Ashram. Back to hotel for dinner and night stay.

Day 3 : Rajkot – Dwarka – Bet Dwarka – Dwarka

Next day after breakfast, we set out for Dwarka, the famous ‘golden city’ and ruling capital of Lord Krishna during his years of monarchy. Dwarka is 230kms away from Rajkot and takes 5hrs to reach. Dwarka is a very important pilgrimage destination for all pious Hindus, firstly, because it is one of the holy Chardhams and also one of the holy ‘Sapta Puris’. On reaching, check into the hotel and later proceed to visit places like Sri Nageshvara Temple, Bet Dwarka, Rukmini Temple, Gopi Talav. In the evening, attend the Sandhya Aarti at the famous Dwarkadhish Temple. Back to hotel for dinner and night stay.

Day 4 : Dwarka – Porbandar – Somnath

Today after breakfast we hit the road for Somnath en route Porbandar. Porbandar is 105kms away from Dwarka and is a 2hrs drive. At Porbandar, we visit places like Sudama Temple and Kirti Mandir, Mahatma Gandhi’s birthplace. Next, we drive down straight to Somnath which is 135kms away from Porbandar and is a 3hrs drive. On reaching, check into hotel; rest and relax for some time and later move on to visit the famous Somnath Temple, one among the 12 Shiva Jyotirlingas our country is graced with. According to a Legend, the Moon God had worshipped Lord Shiva at this place and thus it got the name ‘Somanath’ with ‘Soma’ meaning moon and Nath meaning ‘Lord of Moon’. Attend the evening Aarti at Somnath temple and then stroll away and enjoy the views of sun set at the Saurashtra beach. Back to hotel for dinner and night stay.

Day 5 : Somnath – Sasangir – Junagadh

Next day after breakfast we leave for Junagadh en route Sasan Gir which is 1hrs of drive from Somnath. At Sasangir we explore the Sasangir Safari Park well known for its reserves of the rare Asiatic Lions after which we drive straight down to Junagadh, again a drive of 1hr, and check into hotel. Later during the day, we set out to visit places like Girnar Hills, Junagadh Fort. Back to hotel for dinner and night stay.

Day 6 : Junagadh – Gondal – Ahmedabad

Next day we depart for Ahmedabad post breakfast and en route we visit Gondal’s famous Naulakha Palace and Swaminarayan Temple. Later, we drive down straight to Ahmedabad and check into hotel. Overnight at Ahmedabad.

Day 7 : Ahmedabad – Mount Abu

Next day, after breakfast we leave for Mount Abu, 240kms away and a drive of 6hrs. Mount Abu is a scenic green retreat in the laps of densely forested hills. This is the only hill station that Rajasthan has and is often looked upon as a pleasant, cool green Oasis amid the barren, arid lands of Rajasthan. On reaching Mount Abu, check into hotel and later move on to visit the famous Dilwara temples known for its intricate carvings and filigree work done in marble. Back to hotel for dinner and night stay.

Day 8 : Mount Abu – Nathdwara – Kankroli – Udaipur

Next day we depart for Udaipur en route Nathdwara and Kankroli. At Nathdwara, we visit the renowned Shrinathji Temple which belongs to Shrinathji, an infant form of Lord Krishna. Shreenath Ji’s idol housed here is a 14th century old idol. Next, we visit Kankroli’s temple of Dwarkadhish after which we drive down straight to Udaipur and check into hotel. Later on, we set out for a city tour of Udaipur during which we visit places like Maharana Pratap Memorial, Lake Palace, City palace, Surya Chopar, Lake Pichola. Back to hotel for dinner and night stay.

Day 9 : Udaipur – Ahmedabad Departure

Next day after breakfast we head for Ahmedabad, 260kms away and a 5hrs journey, and you are transferred straight to station/airport when our representative bids you farewell and you proceed for your onward journey back home
