We didn't expect to fall in love with the amazing city and people so quickly, but within a few short days Shanghai felt like a second home. While exploring the city there was so much to soak in. This music video catches us singing at the Suzhou Creek, on skyscrapers against the city skyline, in the Museum of Art Pudong, and by the Bund under a golden sunset. One Heart Choir

Rehearsals:  sundays @ 5:00 pm  |  stakely choir suite, choir tour: june 10-14, 2024  |  chattanooga, tennessee.

For students in the 7th & 8th grades.

The One Heart Choir unites to share Christ through music each week. This exciting choir has regular worship leading responsibilities on Sunday evenings and does outreach projects throughout the year, culminated with a music and missions tour in June. This is a great time to develop new friends and to define who you are as a Christian.

One Voice Choir

Rehearsals: sundays @ 5:00 pm  |  roper choir suite, choir tour: june 8-15, 2024  |  charleston + myrtle beach, south carolina.

For students in the 9th through 12th grades.

The One Voice Choir gives students an opportunity to grow spiritually through music. They sing regularly at the evening worship service. The year concludes with a Choir Tour/Mission Trip in June. Anyone is invited to participate and there are no auditions, however regular attendance is required and encouraged for tour participation.

Reflections ensemble

Rehearsals: sundays @ 4:00 pm  |  roper choir suite, choir tour: march 05-17, 2024  |  nashville, tennessee.

For students in the 10th through 12th grades.

The Reflections Ensemble is an auditioned group of students who are members of First Baptist and who are committed members of One Voice Choir. The Reflections Ensemble provides special music throughout the year for morning and evening worship services. In addition, they travel on a choir tour during spring break.

Creating and viewing support tickets, to create a ticket.

• In the top navigation bar, select Support
• A new Support: One Voice tab will open
• Select New Support Ticket
• ticket will auto populate with users email address
• TIP: The Subject field is used to search the Knowledge Base for possible solutions for the issue being raised. It may be helpful to review the Articles in the gray area to the right before submitting a Ticket.
• Description  - detailed summary of the issue including order number(s) 
• Platform  - select the portal platform where issue occurred
• Topic  - select topic of issue 
• Submit  to create the Ticket

• A notification email that Ticket has been created is sent to the user 
• Notification emails are sent to the user when the Ticket Status is changed To Resolved or Closed, or when Support has added public-facing comments.

To view a Ticket

• Select Check Ticket Status

• The User opens a Ticket. Note : If Support monitoring detects events prior to the Customer opening Ticket, Support will complete Step 1 and proceed.
• Support applies Priority to Ticket details based on Priority guidelines below.  Support provides initial expectations to the Customer, engages partners, and internal resources as required.
• Support continues to update the Customer by updating the Ticket, until resolution. Note: RCA (Root Cause Analysis) delivery is communicated, as required.

Support encompasses a few teams that are best suited for particular scenarios.  Contact details can be found in the KB article  Escalation Contact List

• i800 Porting - the team address' any and all porting issues related to i800
• i800 Support - the team address' any  non porting issues related to i800
• OV Onboarding - the team address' all interop and onboarding for new customers as well as training for new and existing customers
• OV Porting - the team address' any and all porting issues related to One Voice
• Support  - the team address' all issues not covered by the above teams

Additional Expectations

• Tickets must be opened by direct Customer Users. Issues encountered by agents or third-party vendors must be vetted through Customer IT or department resources. Exception:  Support accepts Tickets from authorized Customer agents working non-business hours to support other time zones.
• Tickets must contain all relevant information to start an investigation. Missing information will cause delays in resolution.
• Support will review the Ticket and set Priority appropriately.
• A Ticket starts an investigation into an unknown root cause . Once the problem and solution are identified, Support communicates an Estimated Time to Repair (ETTR) to the Customer. Before a root cause is known, a time line to resolution cannot be provided.
• Support will respond to the Ticket Requester. Customers are responsible for communicating to a wider internal audience.
• Support aims to deliver all Root Cause Analysis reports within 5 to 10 business days.

Expectations

Priority is set by Support in relation to all Tickets being managed using the guidelines below. 

Note: There is no automatic correlation between Customer urgency and Support priority.

If there is a compelling reason to address an issue or request with a Priority above its appropriate classification, a Customer can contact the Support Agent and / or Support Manager by phone to make their case.

The response time for First Response is defined as follows:

• The response time is measured between the time when the call is answered by Support and the time when a Ticket Number is provided.
• The response time is measured between the time when the system creates the Ticket (by issuing a Ticket Number) and the time a Support Agent responds back to the Requester by email or with a public-facing comment on the Ticket.

Update Schedule

Customer expectations for communication regarding Tickets must align with the Ticket update schedule.

Note:  In specific circumstances, the Customer and Support may agree to suspend interval communications until the Target Date for resolution.

One Voice Mixed Chorus is seeking community-driven LGBTQIA+ individuals and allies to join our Board of Directors. New members will be joining the organization at an exciting and seminal moment in its 35 year history–well-established in the community, financially secure, growing, and invigorated by our new Artistic Director’s fresh vision and widely celebrated debut concerts in January. With this momentum and energy in tow, we are entering a period of strategic planning and visioning that will set an ambitious course for the organization. Central to our success will be building a board with relevant experience and perspective—both personally and professionally.

We are seeking individuals who are:

Impassioned by the role art plays in creating social change and cultivating new connections, community, and belonging

Committed to advancing intersectional social justice and ongoing personal development as an ally

Broadcaster Verne Lundquist says emotional goodbye to Masters

Sunday at the Masters is about who will don the green jacket. This one was also about Verne Lundquist.

The esteemed CBS broadcaster made his final Masters call Sunday afternoon, his 40th and final Masters on the mic. Lundquist, 83, has voiced several iconic moments at Augusta National, including Tiger Woods' chip-in birdie from behind the par-3 16th green in the 2005 final round, en route to a playoff victory over Chris DiMarco.

The moment wasn't lost on Lundquist, whose dulcet tones have grown synonymous with the Masters’ storied history.

"When I leave here on Sunday, I'll have nine billion memories, and a choked-up voice,” Lundquist told ESPN earlier this week.

Lundquist made his final call at No. 16 for Sunday's final pairing of winner Scottie Scheffler and Collin Morikawa, after which play-by-play commentator Jim Nantz offered a tribute amidst soft music and slow-motion shots of Scheffler walking to glory.

"Verne wrote a book back in 2018 called "Play by Play," and the last line in the book that you wrote, Verne, I’m going to apply it to you. You said thanks, to borrow a phrase, thanks for the memories. Your voice has been a beautiful instrument. Thank you for a wonderful soundtrack for all of our lives," Nantz said.

A clearly emotional Lundquist responded with brevity: "Thank you so much, Jim. My honor. My privilege."

Woods and Lundquist shared a moment Sunday afternoon as Woods played No. 16, a testament to the five-time green jacket winner’s high esteem for the broadcaster.

“I’ve heard that call a couple times,” Woods quipped earlier this week, before turning serious. “That's what I grew up watching. I grew up listening to Verne. He has just an amazing ability to bring in the audience and describe a situation and just be able to narrate it in a way that is poetic but it's also – he describes it with emotionality. He just draws the audience in. It's amazing.

“And he made a nice call there at (hole) 16, and it's one that I've been lucky enough to … I will have that memory with Verne for the rest of my life.”

Lundquist worked nationally for ABC Sports from 1974 to 1981, CBS from 1982 to 1995, and TNT from 1995 to 1997, before returning to CBS from 1998 to 2016. He spent a decade-plus as the radio voice of the Dallas Cowboys, and he has covered everything from the NFL, NBA and Olympics to college football, basketball and even the game show “Bowling for Dollars.” He was lead play-by-play announcer for SEC football on CBS from 2000 to 2016, before retiring from college football broadcasting.

The Masters has been a constant. Lundquist took the mic at Augusta National in 1983, and he maintained the role aside from a two-year hiatus in 1997-98. His first Masters assignment was on the par-5 13th hole, the final leg of Amen Corner, and he was assigned to the 17th-hole tower for 1986 – after longtime 17th-hole announcer Frank Glieber, a close friend, died of a heart attack in 1985. Lundquist eventually moved to the tower at No. 16, the picturesque par 3 known as Redbud with water guarding the green’s left side and a mid-green ridge that tends to funnel balls toward a traditional Sunday hole location tucked near the water’s edge.

Augusta National’s par-3 16th tower was a fitting place for Lundquist’s Masters career to conclude, where he punctuated Scheffler's 10-foot birdie Sunday that extended his lead to four strokes, en route to his second green jacket.

PopCon Indy,  a massive celebration of all things pop culture , is back in Indianapolis for its 11th year with celebrities, games, vendors and a smorgasbord of fun activities.

“This is so much more than a comic or gaming convention. It’s an all-weekend event with activities for anyone of all ages – geeks, gamers and your inner child alike," said Carl Doninger, president of PopCon, in a previous interview with IndyStar.

Here's what we know about this year's big three-day event.

When is PopCon Indy 2024?

PopCon Indy is scheduled 1-7 p.m. Friday, April 26; 10:30 a.m.-7 pm. Saturday, April 27; and 10:30 a.m.-5 p.m. Sunday, April 28. VIP and Superfan ticket-holders can walk in 30 minutes ahead of the general public.

Where does it take place?

The  three-day event  happens at the  Indiana Convention Center  at  100 South Capitol Ave . in Indianapolis.

How much are tickets?

You can score tickets to PopCon Indy online or at the convention center registration desk on the day of the event. Tickets for all three days of PopCon start at $60. Day passes begin at $30. Children under 10 get in free with the purchase of an adult ticket.

What can you do at PopCon?

You many not recognize the name Jim Cummings , but you've likely heard his voice. Cummings has given life to dozens of animated characters, performing hundreds of different roles over a career spanning more than 40 years. Some of his more memorable credits include voicing Disney's Winnie the Pooh , Tigger, Darkwing Duck and Warner Bros.' Taz the Tasmanian Devil .

Cummings is scheduled to appear at this year's PopCon Indy along with these other talented voice actors:

Blake Shelton Just Revealed He Doesn't Miss 'The Voice' At All

He said he would only return under one circumstance.

Shelton has been a mainstay on the popular singing competition show since its very first season in 2011. He coached up promising artists on Team Blake for a total of 23 seasons (that's 12 whole years!). In an interview with Entertainment Tonight , Shelton explained that after such a long stint on The Voice , his heart just wasn't in it anymore.

"I totally needed a break from that because if I wasn’t into it, then it wasn’t good for whoever was on my team,” he explained. “I don’t want to be someone who’s just going through the motions. Those artists need somebody fighting for them."

The seemingly revolving door of coaches every season on the show didn't help Shelton's situation either. "The second I started feeling like, ‘Oh my gosh, I don’t even remember what season this is anymore. Who are the coaches on this season?’ [I knew that] I needed [to get] away from here," he added.

Shelton emphasized that he doesn't "miss the job at all," but he does miss certain aspects of his coaching role. "I miss the people. I mean, those people became like family to me, literally from the crew all up to the producers of the show. I was with them more than I was with my family… I miss that," Shelton reminisced.

Of course, plenty of good things came from Shelton's time on The Voice, including meeting his now-wife, Gwen Stefani . The "Hollaback Girl" songstress came on as a coach for season 7.

"The first season she was on The Voice we met [but] we really didn't talk that much... If you would've told me the first season that we met that what was gonna happen, I would've been like, 'No, we actually don't even have anything to even talk about. What are you talking about?' It's crazy how things work out," Shelton recalled.

Even good things must come to an end, and has time has passed Shelton is confident he made the right decision in leaving, "every day feels a little bit better," he said.

For now Shelton has closed that chapter of his life, but he did say he would return to The Voice under special circumstances: if all four original coaches come back together. Shelton coached the first season of The Voice alongside Adam Levine, Christina Aguilera, and Cee-Lo Green.

"If they were ever able to put together the original four coaches again, maybe [I’d return] for one season, a one-off,” Shelton told ET. “That would be fun for me… That would be something I would be interested in doing."

In February, Jennifer Lopez released a bundle of multimedia projects that were each part of a larger statement—arguably, a misguided one—about the power of love or something. One of those was This Is Me … Now , a very cheesy and otherwise unremarkable late-career pop album. The other was This Is Me … Now: A Love Story , a loosely biographical, somewhat egomaniacal adaptation of the album into a blockbuster musical full of astrological melodrama, flashy choreography, and celebrity cameos. Finally, a couple of weeks later, Lopez released The Greatest Love Story Never Told , a behind-the-scenes documentary that’s chiefly about the making of This Is Me … Now: A Love Story but is more notable for its awkwardly invasive glimpses into J.Lo’s famed romance with a dutifully supportive but quite visibly mortified Ben Affleck.

This is all, taken together, as overproduced and exasperating as it sounds. Each project has been met with mixed-to-bad reviews and general mockery on social media. J.Lo herself admitted to Variety that she made and self-financed the musical, to the tune of $20 million, even though everyone in her creative orbit, including coproducer Elaine Goldsmith-Thomas and castmate Jane Fonda, warned her about the risk of further overexposure of her relationship with Affleck. But J.Lo persisted, and the result is a roundly uncanny production that’s distressingly reminiscent of Tyler Perry’s I Can Do Bad All by Myself but also James Cameron’s Avatar and also Paul Hunter’s music video for “Wild Wild West.” Fat Joe plays J.Lo’s therapist, and Jane Fonda plays Sagittarius, in the most cringeworthy release involving either Lopez or Affleck since—too fittingly, really— Gigli. Ticket sales for the tour to promote This Is Me … Now have been exceptionally weak; J.Lo has hastily rebranded the concert series as a greatest hits tour.

The overexposure of pop stars, to a fault, is routine. We know perhaps a bit too much about J.Lo’s pop contemporaries, too, and look: It’s not like Mariah Carey and Justin Timberlake haven’t also pushed their own post-peak vanity projects to weak receptions in recent years. But J.Lo has, for much of her career, been a curiously unsympathetic figure, a stone-cold climber whose missteps draw a great deal of schadenfreude and now something of a backlash.

Lopez has long been a more divisive figure than meets the eye. This was the crux of the drama a couple of months ago on Saturday Night Live , concerning host Ayo Edebiri, costar of The Bear , and musical guest Lopez, as the latter was promoting her aforementioned projects a couple of weeks before their release dates. A day before the taping in New York, TMZ resurfaced some old footage of Edebiri, as a guest on Laci Mosley’s podcast, Scam Goddess , saying Lopez “can’t sing” and describing her musical career as “one long scam.” These were jokes , in one sense—a comedic actor skewering a pop star in a harmlessly petty conversation on a podcast brought to you by Team Coco—but then, yes, actually, this has always been the shadow discourse about J.Lo. She can’t sing, and not in the normal way that a lot of pop stars slathered in Auto-Tune can’t sing; J.Lo goes so far as to hide behind uncredited vocals from other singers, from Ashanti (“I’m Real,” “Ain’t It Funny”) to Meghan Trainor (“Ain’t Your Mama”) . These criticisms are common enough that Lopez, commenting on the footage of Edebiri, told Variety that she’s indeed “heard similar things said about me throughout my career.” While Lopez would publicly insist that Edebiri’s comments were water under the bridge, Edebiri led off her SNL appearance with a sketch referencing her criticism of Lopez , in a half-kidding ritual self-humiliation. This was Lorne Michaels making the most of an awkward situation, sure, but also it felt like Lopez putting Edebiri in her place, even if she wasn’t directly responsible for the sketch’s development. Lopez also made a point of telling Variety that Edebiri apologized to her “with tears in her eyes.”

Such is the role Lopez never sought but has played on and off for decades now: J.Lo as pop villain—or, if not quite villain, a sort of hapless foil. Her famous feud with Mariah Carey in the early 2000s gave us the iconic quote from Carey after she was asked about J.Lo: “I don’t know her.” This was a rivalry born out of Carey’s divorce from her label boss, Tommy Mottola at Sony, who reportedly led the label to aggressively promote Lopez and scornfully sabotage the career of his ex-wife. Mottola and the tabloids pitted these two women against each other, and while the rivalry never escalated into any direct confrontation or explicit denunciation, J.Lo has always come across as the loser—a woman out of her depth.

J.Lo got her start as a Fly Girl on In Living Color and as the breakout star of Gregory Nava’s charming biopic Selena. This was the 1990s. These were, in retrospect, the only years when Lopez was so uncontroversially beloved, before her disastrous involvement with Puff Daddy, before her cold war with Mariah, and before her multimedia reach, far exceeding her grasp, could culminate in something as unwieldy and off-putting as This Is Me … Now: A Love Story. Much of the cynicism about J.Lo over the years, up to its latest climax, concerns her particular proportion of fame and talent. There’s the sense that even the heights of her own career don’t quite compare to those of her contemporaries or earn her the same sort of everlasting goodwill. Mariah Carey was arguably the most formidable female pop singer of her generation, with a fearsome command of five octaves, while Jennifer Lopez was a great dancer with a relatively weak singing voice, evident to anyone who has ever intently listened to the chorus of “Waiting for Tonight.” This contrast was always a bit damning, even if the underlying rivalry was false and, in any case, wasn’t J.Lo’s fault or problem. But J.Lo is a talented entertainer, undeniably, even as she struggles to narrow her ambitions in response to that pesky, inevitable question: talented at what, exactly?

This Is Me … Now: A Love Story possibly would’ve worked better as a back-to-basics dance showcase for Lopez, a savvy capitalization on the goodwill from her impressive performance alongside Shakira at Super Bowl LIV. But, of course, it had to be an overwrought showcase for J.Lo as an actor, singer, writer, producer, and lover, too. “Bennifer” is a tabloid romance for the ages, sure, but also the most consistently overexposed aspect of J.Lo’s legacy and one that’s dramatically at odds with her posturing as “Jenny from the block,” when she is, at this point, so clearly and thoroughly a creature of Hollywood, subject of so much resentment, exactly as Fonda warned her.
