Bat, Rotten Sound and Misery Index were great and gave me some neck pain. As much as I love the bands mentioned above, Misery Index managed to play the best show that night, they just played too correct and their way of interacting with the audience is just nice.

I'm not a fan of EyeHateGod or sludge in general, but their performance has left its mark on my memory and I would definitely like to see them live again. Mike Williams is simply a unique personality, and it's very interesting to see him live, but admittedly his way of interacting with the crowd draws a certain amount of hatred.

Napalm are machines and always give a great show, Barney is an incredible front man who will make sure you never get bored.

The audience in general was quite nice, not small in number, well-behaved and very lively.

The organizers did a good job, I had no problems finding the location, the toilets were adequate, the bars worked perfectly etc.

All in all a great performance, and I would recommend any of the bands listed to anyone.

Napalm in Frisco was fucking awesome!With Municipal Waste, Sick Of It All, and Take Offense this lineup ruled I only hope that all of these guys keep touring for years to come...

Awesome show, all 5 bands were excellent. Would have liked to see a little more from Napalm Death since it was the first time seeing them. Thank you Slayer for setting up such an awesome show, you guys are simply amazing and will always be legendary in the music industry.

Napalm Death announce European tour

British extreme metallers  NAPALM DEATH  have announced a headlining European tour!

The pioneering grindcore outfit will undergo a run of headlining performances across Europe and the UK for the  Campaign For Musical Destruction with supporting performances from  BRUJERIA  and  POWER TRIP . Speaking about the tour, frontman  Mark ‘Barney’ Greenway says “it’s been absurdly long since we did anything resembling a proper European tour. To make up for it, it’s nice then that we can bring along a box of crazies like BRUJERIA  – certainly not run-of-the-mill. And POWER TRIP  are, like, the good bits of that crossover thing from back in the day. And for our part we’ll be digging out a few sweet treats from the annals of NAPALM DEATH . We are officially as excited as small children.”

Napalm Death announce English and Irish headline shows either side of US tour

Grindcore pioneers Napalm Death set up spring tour of England and summer shows in Ireland, postpone European dates to 2023

Napalm Death have been forced to push their European tour dates back to 2023, but have now booked shows in England and in Ireland either side of their US dates with Arch Enemey, Behemoth and Unto Others.

The band were due to start their Campaign For Musical Destruction tour in Magdeburg Germany on February 3. Now, following the February 11 release of their upcoming mini album Resentment is Always Seismic – A Final Throw Of Throes , the English grindcore pioneers fronted by Barney Greenway will play: 

Mar 5: Leeds, Boom Mar 11: Oxford, Academy 2 Mar 12: Buckley, The Tivoli Mar 18: London, Underworld Mar 19: Liverpool, Academy 2 Mar 25: Torquay, The Foundry Mar 26: Milton Keynes, Craufurd Arms

After the band’s stint on the North American Siege 2022 tour, they'll return to Europe to play Irish dates in Limerick, Dublin and Belfast. They have booked:

Speaking of band’s forthcoming mini album, Barney Greenway says: "You can certainly consider  Resentment Is Always  as an extension of, or partner recording to, the  Throes  album. We had long since wanted to put a mini-album out - in the spirit of the old days - and found we had enough quality tracks even after all the  Throes  bonus tracks to do that.

"Hopefully, this mini holds some nice twists in its own right for people, and certainly covering People Pie by Slab! made us really stretch ourselves, which feels great artistically. In the end, resentment is certainly seismic - it can trigger the complete erosion of humanity in many situations. That was the point that I really wanted to hammer home overall."

A music writer since 1993, formerly Editor of Kerrang! and Planet Rock magazine (RIP), Paul Brannigan is a Contributing Editor to Louder. Having previously written books on Lemmy, Dave Grohl (the Sunday Times best-seller This Is A Call) and Metallica ( Birth School Metallica Death , co-authored with Ian Winwood), his Eddie Van Halen biography ( Eruption in the UK, Unchained in the US) emerged in 2021. He has written for Rolling Stone, Mojo and Q, hung out with Fugazi at Dischord House, flown on Ozzy Osbourne's private jet, played Angus Young's Gibson SG, and interviewed everyone from Aerosmith and Beastie Boys to Young Gods and ZZ Top. Born in the North of Ireland, Brannigan lives in North London and supports The Arsenal.

Napalm Death Reschedule European Tour To 2023, March 2022 UK Tour Booked

Legendary grindcore band Napalm Death have postponed their European/UK ‘ Campaign For Musical Destruction Tour ‘ to 2023, but that doesn’t mean they won’t be hitting the road soon. The outfit have lined up a March tour of UK and July dates in Ireland to support the February 11th release of their new mini-album “ Resentment Is Always Seismic – A Final Throw Of Throes “. That record is viewed as a ‘partner’ to their 2020 release, “ Throes Of Joy In The Jaws Of Defeatism “.

After a successful run of dates in Australia and New Zealand together with Carcass, British Grindcore pioneers Napalm Death continue to promote their 15th studio album, Apex Predator - Easy Meat, with festival appearances this coming weekend in North America (Maryland Death Fest and Fort Worth Metal Festival) as well as dates in Europe and Russia this summer.

Napalm Death bassist Shane Embury checked in briefly with greetings while on travels as follows: "We had an awesome time down in Australia & New Zealand with our old friends Carcass! A lot of history between us as everyone probably knows and the crowds were very appreciative with most of the shows sold out. And what a great line up, also with Extortion opening…a truly awesome band from Australia. All in all a killer tour and I almost got Bill Steer up onstage for a few of the old songs, but we never quite managed it with all of the crazy traveling and early flights. But one day soon though, I tell you…Cheers!"
