Reviews of Day Tours Classic

We did the football tour with tangol, and saw both the la bombonera as well as the monumental stadium. we arranged the booking with julieta, who was very helpful in getting the booking done last minute. the tour itself was fascinating and the guide was very knowledgeable. he himself is a river plate supporter, and knew lots of little anecdotes on el clasico (the river vs. boca derby). overall i highly suggest this tour as it is also a very safe way to experience the neighbourhood of la boca., excellent tour pablo our guide was really knowledgeable in regards to all football not just argentinian and his english is excellent. we had various tours whilst in argentina but have to say this is by far the best, we recently did the tangol football stadium tour of boca juniors and river plate (the two biggest football teams in argentina). the tour was amazing, our tour guide translated the whole tour for us to english so we got a great experience, being a student and only visiting buenos aires for a short time, tangol was the best option i could ask for. besides going on a wonderful tour and having a great time at the futbol stadium tour, the customer service was terrific. anytime i wanted to double check a booking or had a question, they would respond promptly and always have an answer for me. i recommend using tangol for all your buenos aires trip adventures., we weren't luck enough to be in ba when boca were playing at home but went for the next best option - the guided tour of their stadium. we had a grear guide (eugenie). she gave us loads of information on the ride there about the different areas we passed through and the history of the club. she took us through the museum and gave us so much information that we would never have found out if we had been wandering through on our own. she then accompanied us on the tour of the stadium itself which was really useful as it was largely in spanish and meant the stadium tour guide didn't need to repeat everything for us. i would definitely recommend this tour if you are a football fan..

Secrets of Buenos Aires

How to buy tickets for Boca Juniors as a tourist

Do you want to buy tickets to see a match of Boca Juniors? Let’s keep the story short: it’s almost impossible. However, there is a way that a tourist can buy a Boca Juniors ticket.

Read also: The history of La Boca (why blue and yellow, what’s famous, …)

It is a dream of many football fans. Attend a match at La Bombonera. Boca Juniors plays its matches at the La Bombonera stadium and is located in the La Boca district in Buenos Aires. The stadium can accommodate around 49,000 people.

Due to many riots in the past, it is unfortunately no longer allowed in Argentina for supporters to visit away games.

How to buy tickets for Boca Juniors?

Since this year I have been in contact with Nicolas who organizes football experiences in Buenos Aires. This includes the tickets to the game, hotel pick-up and drop-off, and a guide for during the game. To make it easier, I created a page to send your request and he will get in contact with you. Click here to the page.

However, there are also a lot of scamming practices on the market. High prices, fake tickets, cancelations, … So watch out! It is not easy to get a football ticket on your own. First, you need to understand how the ticket sale works.

First of all: ticket sales were handed over to supporters’ groups, a few years ago. Residents subscribe themselves on a waiting list to get a Boca Juniors member card. The waiting time runs up to 6 years now!

However, often supporters don’t go to all the Boca games. It happens that a Boca Junior supporter has an agreement with a hotel or broker. If the supporter doesn’t go to a game, he lends his seasonal pass (member card) to the broker. Of course for a price. And the story continues. The broker adds a percentage, and so on.

On your own getting a ticket is hopeless, even impossible.

Read the post: top 25 things to do in Buenos Aires

Boca Juniors Stadium La Boca

Are there other options?

Yes, since shortly I am in contact with Nicolas who organizes football experiences in Buenos Aires. Click here to the page.

Other option is that you need to know a Boca Junior fan in person. And he/she is willing to lend the seasonal pass.

Or, you go by a broker, hotel, or tourist organization. But prices per ticket vary between $160 USD and $400 USD. Landingpadba.com is one of the tourist agencies and is well trusted where you can buy tickets for Boca Juniors. I don’t trust Viagogo.

Furthermore, be aware that it’s known that fake tickets are going around!

If you can’t buy tickets for Boca Juniors, I can advise on taking a tour in La Bombonera. It’s a guided tour through the stadium and the museum. A must-do for Boca Juniors fans. Book your ticket online to skip lines.

Visit the Boca Juniors stadium

Watching live a game of the Boca Juniors is truly amazing. As a tourist, you need to be very lucky to get a ticket. But I can recommend you visit La Bombonera stadium! Daily you can visit the stadium and get a tour. Some guides speak English, and during the one-hour tour, you will get a great impression of the club. I went more than once to the stadium for the tour with family and friends and never got bored.

Below I present you the option to visit River Plate’s stadium and Boca Juniors during one tour. Or you can just go directly to La Bombonera to get a ticket. A waiting line can occur.

I would recommend purchasing tickets in advance if possible. The closer to the game, the more expensive the tickets will be, but it’s worth it to avoid the long lines and crowds.

Just wanted to say thank you! We were really nervous after reading about how difficult it was to get tickets to a Boca juniors match. Landingpadba were wonderful! Funny guides, well organized and great seats! Muchas gracias!! Which tango show do you like the best?

I got tickets from Wander Argentina as a surprise for my hubby for his birthday. They were cheaper than anywhere else and amazing seats by the field.

Hi Glenn! Thank you for honestly stating, that it is “impossible” to get the ticket for mens matches. But what about womens team? Are there higher chances for a tourist? Do you have any idea how can one get there? Thanks!

' src=

Hi Karel, I’m not really informed about the womens team. I will try to get some info and updates as soon as possible.

' src=

Hi Glenn, after 51 years i will finally be in Argentina to hopefully see Boca play against Arsenal on 3/11, can you please provide the absolute best way if any I can get 2 tickets to this game please. I am coming from Australia finally and would hate to miss this chance to see them live as I will never get this chance again, any help would be much appreciated, thanks George

Hi George, thank you for visiting our website and welcome to Buenos Aires. Getting tickets for Boca Juniors is difficult. I would suggest contacting Landingpadba. This is not a guarantee for getting the tickets. At this moment there are no other ways. Have a pleasant stay in Argentina 😉 Cheers.

' src=

Why don’t you trust viagogo?

Hi Bruce, travelers contacted us with their review about Viagogo. Often we receive the story of fake tickets or cancellation at the very last moment. Therefore, the chance of a valid ticket and that you will actually see the game is very low.

' src=

Is there other trusted companies that sell tickets for Boca matches? Thank you

Hi Roger, the only trusted way at this moment is Landingpadba. Cheers!

buenos aires stadium tour

Boca Juniors stadium, La Bombonera is a must see while visiting Buenos Aires. If you love football, are thirsty for the history and humorous stories of the beautiful game in Buenos Aires, then this stadium, museum + city tour covering multiple neighborhoods is for you!

For those poor souls who are being dragged along with you: Our Boca Juniors oriented stadium and museum tour will cover some of the most important areas of the Buenos Aires city center too. The general history of the city, the barrios, how soccer came to be in Argentina will all come together over this 4 hour tour.

Boca Juniors stadium has been closed for public tours since Feb 2022 so we have replaced the stadium tour portion of the day with the largest Argentine stadium in the country and rival to Boca, River Plate!

Ever heard of a professional player being drunk during a game and actually scoring a goal? We have, and you’re going to learn all about him.

What if we told you that River Plate’s colors (Boca Juniors’ arch nemesis) are hidden in some of La Boca’s murals? You’ll see it soon enough and learn why.

This tour is for football fanatics and will include plenty of opportunities to see some of Buenos Aires most picturesque neighborhoods. The famous “El Caminito”, La Casa Rosada and Plaza de Mayo just to name a few. Our bilingual guides are well read when it comes to the history of Argentina, experienced and will encourage questions, random stops along the route and enjoy improvising.

What this soccer tour is not going to be : Football fans and independent travelers rejoice! This is NOT the generic Boca Juniors stadium tour every massive, run of the mill tour site is offering. These are our local, knowledgeable football guides who have a legit passion for the sport, our specially planned route, tons of fun facts and unique information plus improvised extras. This is the only place you can reserve it. We do not offer this tour through giant travel sites because it is not meant for gawking groups who simply want to tick the box that is La Bombonera.

La Bombonera

La Bombonera

Club: CA Boca Juniors | Opening: 1940 | Capacity: 49,000

History and description

La Bombonera was built between 1938 and 1940, and, as the legend goes, received its name because the architect suddenly realised the similarities between the stadium and a chocolate (bombon) he was eating.

Boca Juniors had already played at the site since 1924, which was until then a rather simple wooden stadium. After Boca bought the land in 1931, it therefore started making plans to build a new concrete stadium that could hold 100,000 fans.

La Bombonera officially opened on the 25th of May 1940 with a friendly between Boca Juniors and San Lorenzo (2-0), though it took until the end of 1941 for the second tier to be completed. A third tier was finally constructed between 1951 and 1953.

La Bombonera at that time had stands on three sides. The fourth side was left open with just a few VIP boxes and an obelisk, which was because of a lack of space due to the residential buildings just across the street.

Boca Juniors almost moved to a new 140,000-stadium in the 1970s, but political and economical turmoil ended the construction that had just begun.

In 1986, the stadium got named Estadio Alberto J. Armando in honour of the former iconic club president, but most fans have kept referring to the stadium as La Bombonera.

In 1996, the VIP boxes and obelisk on the open site were replaced by a small stand that was higher than the previous one, but again mainly consisted of VIP boxes.

Boca Juniors currently has plans to build a new stadium almost adjacent to La Bombonera, with a capacity of 75,000 seats divided over two tiers. La Bombonera will not get demolished though, but used for other purposes. Plans are still in preliminary stages.

How to get to La Bombonera

La Bombonera is located south of Buenos Aires’ city centre (Microcentro), at less than 4 kilometres from the Plaza de Mayo and 2 kilometres from popular nightlife area San Telmo.

La Bombonera is hard to access by car and it is advised to either take a taxi or go by public transport.

The stadium has no metro station in the vicinity, though the walk from the San Telmo area should take no more than half an hour.

There are also many buses (colectivos) that pass close to the stadium, of which most also cross the city centre (microcentro). Take one of the following colectivos in southern direction: 10, 20, 22, 24, 25, 29, 33, 39, 46, 53, 54, 64, 70, 74, 86, 93, 102, 129, 130, 152, 159, 168, or 186.

Address: Brandsen 805, Capital Federal

Eat, drink, and sleep near La Bombonera

La Bombonera lies in the middle of the working-class La Boca area, which has a slightly negative reputation in terms of safety, and therefore care should be taken at night. During the day, however, the area around the stadium is reasonably safe as it is located adjacent to the famous and touristy Caminito de la Boca with its coloured artist houses.

There are various restaurants and bars around the Caminito de la Boca, but the San Telmo area toward the north may be a better alternative, especially at night. Most of the places are in the area around Plaza Dorrego. From there it is less than 30 minutes walking to the stadium.

There are few hotels near La Bombonera, but plenty of options in the San Telmo area. Some of the best-rated, but also more expensive, options include Tiana Hotel Boutique , Telmho Hotel Boutique , Bohemia Hotel , and Hotel Babel . Expect to pay between US$ 60.00 and US$110.00.

Cheaper and more basic options include Hotel Carly , Hotel Chipre , and Hotel Casablanca . There are also many hostels in the San Telmo area. For an overview, click here .

Boca Juniors Tickets

Boca Juniors has stopped selling tickets to the general public and currently only allows club members to enter the stadium.

Tourists can make use of the many ticket agencies that offer packages, which however go for highly inflated prices.

There were two Boca games during my visit. To be on a safe side I bought a ticket for game in Copa Libertadores against Tolima from an agency. It was expensive( USD160), but was quarenteed and included transport, food and drinks. The other game I was trying to buy a ticket myself but that did not work so I missed out. I found a guy on Facebook who was selling them and was going to meet him on the day of the match to collect tickets. He never showed up( there were another 10 people waiting). Walk from metro station to the stadium is not the easiest one, but you can get a very cheap taxi. The stadium is very unique. Atmosphere is always nice, but I would say it is overrated since so many tourist come there.

I went to Batistuta’s last game for Boca Junios v San Lorenzo in 1991. In those days you could just walk up and pay to get in. I was stood behind the goal. San Lorenzo fans were on a tier above. A continuous torrent of spit from above endured throughout the game but also thrown down was a car tyre and, no kidding, a shopping trolley! It was quite an experience. Boca lost 1-0.

An absolutely amazing staduim to visit. I visited in April to watch Boca v Nuevo Chicago ( 0-0 ). Brilliant atmosphere from start to finish. We bought tickets from an organised tour group, we met at a bar in San Telmo they provide a few beers and some food and then provide a small coach to La Boca with a guide. Loads of different nationalities in the group of about 30. Normally wouldn’t do this kind of trip but it was the only way we could get tickets in the UK. We paid about £100 and sat in Sector L, which is along the touch line between the Boca tunnel and the away team tunnel and is next to the main hooligan/fans area. The guide sat next to us in the staduim and told us that he sits in this sector every game and we felt safe throughout the game. You do need to be slightly careful but don’t let that put you off going to watch a game. The staduim was brilliant. A proper old school staduim, standing behind both goals and seats along the side. The tour company offer different price tickets ranging from about £65 to £100 each. After the game the guide took us back to the coach and then dropped us back off in San Telmo. I got talking to a few locals who said that you can get tickets from members outside the staduim at a lot cheaper prices but again you have to be careful if your going to do this. We went on the tour of the staduim the day before the game. The guide was really good and spoke English, he conducted the tour in Spanish and then came over to our group and explained what he had said. The tour isn’t brillant but it’s definitely worth £8. You get to look around the staduim visit the museum and have a drink in the bar at the end ( we sat on the terrace behind the goal with a nice cold beer ! ). The club shop is expensive, but there are loads of shops selling brilliant copies all around the staduim at cheap prices. They have all the teams in Argentina plus the national team shirts. I would recommend the steak restaurant directly opposite the staduim. It’s nothing special when you walk in but the steak was amazing ! and for only about £5 with a beer ! After the tour we walked down to La Camitino tourist area, it’s only a five minute walk, we didn’t have any problems but be a little careful because apparently they have a lot of crime in this area between the staduim and the start of the Main tourist Street.

Buneos Aires is brilliant !

Two France internationals arrested after allegation of sexual assault on tour

T wo France international rugby players have been arrested following an allegation of sexual assault during Les Bleus’ South America tour.

French Rugby Federation president Florian Grill told reporters in Buenos Aires that if the facts are proven they are “incredibly serious”.

The two players – 20-year-old Pau lock Hugo Auradou and La Rochelle flanker Oscar Jegou, 21 – are set to be taken from the Argentine capital to Mendoza, where the alleged incident happened.

Mendoza staged the first Test between Argentina and France on Saturday, when both players started.

‘An investigation is under way,’ Grill said, in comments reported by L’Equipe. ‘If the facts are proven, they are incredibly serious.

‘We must already have a thought for the young woman. If, once again, it is proven, it is the opposite of everything that rugby does.

‘I have no details. I cannot say what happened. An investigation is under way. It is important to let it take place.

‘We are in contact with the authorities. We are trying to support everyone. We have also notified the French authorities, because this is a potentially very important case.’

In a post on X, French sports minister Amelie Oudea-Castera said: ‘If the investigation establishes the alleged facts, they constitute an unspeakable atrocity.

‘Thought for the victim. Thanks to Florian Grill for his right words and his emotion that everyone shares this morning.

‘I remain in contact with the federation and our embassy there.’

In a statement on the club’s official website, La Rochelle said: ‘Stade Rochelais was informed, through the press, of the arrest of Oscar Jegou in Argentina following an accusation of sexual assault.

‘In the total absence of direct information on the ongoing procedure, the club will refrain from any comment for the moment.’

Pau, meanwhile, said the club had ‘learned this morning through the media of the arrest and serious accusations made against our second-row Hugo Auradou, currently on tour in Argentina with the national team.

‘The club is awaiting more specific information from the French Rugby Federation and the initial conclusions of the ongoing investigation, which is essential at this stage.”

France full-back Melvyn Jaminet was suspended from the tour on Sunday after a video surfaced online of the Toulon player making a racist remark.

The video, in which Jaminet is heard making a remark about Arabs, came from an Instagram story posted to his account.

It has since been deleted, although copies of the video are on the internet.

The FFR condemned Jaminet’s comments in a statement and suspended him with immediate effect, while the player issued an apology shortly after his suspension was announced.

France are due to play Uruguay in Montevideo on Wednesday, before Saturday’s second Test against Argentina in Buenos Aires.

Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce Bring Their Love Story to Her Amsterdam Eras Tour Show

Taylor swift and travis kelce reunited at her eras tour concert in amsterdam july 5, days after he watched her perform in dublin..

Travis Kelce almost managed to go incognito at Taylor Swift 's latest Eras tour show.

But eagle-eyed fans spotted the Kansas City Chiefs star walking out with the singer backstage at her second concert at Johan Cruijff ArenA in Amsterdam.

And on the couple's extended Fourth of July weekend, sparks flew between them. As seen in videos shared on social media, the two waved to fans, with Travis hyping them up before hugging his girlfriend and planting a kiss on her head as the couple made their way through the area.

Many fans had suspected the NFL star was at the show when during Taylor's closing performance of her song "Karma," she sang the lyric "Karma is the guy on the Chiefs." The singer had debuted the alternative line to her 2022 track when Travis supported her at her concert in Argentina in November and later sang it at more shows he attended.

The athlete was previously spotted at Taylor's third concert in Dublin , Ireland on June 30, watching his girlfriend perform while standing with fellow Swiftie Julia Roberts in a VIP area.

A week prior, he made his onstage Eras tour debut, joining Taylor and her backup dancers at London's Wembley Stadium as a guest performer, during which he carried the singer bridal-style across the stage.

TRAVIS WHAT ARE U DOING HERE #TSTheErasTourAmsterdam pic.twitter.com/AN3bmLScp4 — ⭑ fionn (@ultralightrry) July 6, 2024

Travis had originally planned a different cameo .

“I initially mentioned it to Tay,” he told Jason. “I was like, ‘How funny would it be if I just rolled out on one of the bikes during the  1989  album. That era.’”

Taylor, Travis said, began laughing. “She was like, ‘Would you seriously be up for doing something like that?’" he recalled. "And I was like, ‘What? I would love to do that. Are you kidding me?’ I’ve seen the show enough, might as well put me to work here.”

Travis has attended more than 10 Eras tour concerts on five continents since he famously attempted, without success, to pass on a friendship bracelet with his number on it to Taylor at her show in Kansas City, Mo.—home of the Chiefs—almost exactly one year ago. The two went on to begin dating later that summer of 2023.

Look back at Taylor and Travis' road to romance...

July 2023: So, Make the Friendship Bracelets

Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce 's love story began in July 2023, when the singer's Eras Tour made a stop at Arrowhead Stadium in Kansas City, Mo.

As a huge Swiftie, the Kansas City Chiefs tight end caught the show with hopes of giving Taylor a friendship bracelet with his number on it . However, he failed to complete the pass due to her pre-show rituals.

"I was disappointed that she doesn't talk before or after her shows because she has to save her voice for the 44 songs that she sings," Travis shared on the July 26 episode of his  New Heights podcast. "So, I was a little butt-hurt I didn't get to hand her one of the bracelets I made for her."

Summer 2023: This Is Him Trying

After publicly recounting his fumble—a move Taylor would later describe as "metal as hell" —Travis decided to shoot his shot and invite the Grammy winner to watch the Chiefs play at Arrowhead Stadium.

"I threw it out there, I threw the ball in her court," he shared on The Pat McAfee Show . "I told her, you know, 'I've seen you rock the stage in Arrowhead, you might have to come see me rock the stage in Arrowhead and see which one's a little more lit.' So, we'll see what happens in the near future."

August 2023: Enchanted to Meet You

Travis was rocking a mustache—which he debuted in August during training camp—when he was first introduced to Taylor .

As he later noted of the era, "That 'stache and the 87 jersey was pretty iconic there for a little bit, and I had it when I met Taylor for the first time."

September 2023: Sparks Fly

By early September, a source close to the situation told E! News that Travis and Taylor were " texting and talking here and there ."

"It's been very low-key," the insider explained, "as he's been in season."

September 2023: Cheer Captain

Accepting Travis' invite, Taylor joined the athlete's mom Donna Kelce at Arrowhead Stadium to watch him and the Chiefs take on the Chicago Bears. After the game, Taylor and Travis were seen packing PDA at a local bar .

Though folklore had it that it was the couple's first in-person meeting, the "Karma" singer later clarified the two had spent a "significant amount of time" getting to know each other beforehand.

As Taylor noted, "We would never be psychotic enough to hard launch a first date."

October 2023: Team Up

As an indication that the relationship was heating up, Taylor brought her squad —including friends Blake Lively , Ryan Reynolds , Sophie Turner , Hugh Jackman , Sabrina Carpenter and Antoni Porowski —to watch the Chiefs play against the New York Jets at MetLife Stadium in New Jersey.

October 2023: It's Nice to Have a Friend

Another sign that Travis could be The 1 ? Taylor started bonding with Brittany Mahomes —the wife of Travis' BFF and teammate Patrick Mahomes —in and outside of NFL games .

October 2023: Welcome to New York

The couple took their romance to TV, making a surprise appearance on the Oct. 14 episode of Saturday Night Live . Their Big Apple takeover also included the after-party for the NBC sketch show and a date night at the Waverly Inn .

November 2023: Karma Is Her Boyfriend

During a bye week, Travis traveled down to Argentina to catch the South American leg of Taylor's Eras Tour. Not only did the NFL star bond with Taylor's dad , Scott Swift , at the Nov. 11 show in Buenos Aires, but he also got a special shoutout from the stage.

" Karma is that guy on the Chiefs ," Taylor sang, "coming straight home to me."

After the show, the Midnights  artist was seen running up to Travis backstage and greeting him with a passionate kiss .

December 2024: Speak Now

Taylor addressed the lavender craze surrounding her appearances at Travis' games.

"I'm going to see him do what he loves, we're showing up for each other, other people are there and we don't care," she told Time . "The opposite of that is you have to go to an extreme amount of effort to make sure no one knows that you're seeing someone."

December 2023: You, Who Charmed Her Dad

The music superstar turned Travis' Dec. 17 game into a family affair, bringing her dad to cheer on her man .

January 2024: All the Midnights

Taylor and Travis spent their first New Year's Eve together, sharing a romantic kiss when the clock struck midnight on Jan. 1.

January 2024: Chosen Family

Continuing to bond with Travis' family, Taylor hung out with his brother Jason Kelce and sister-in-law Kylie Kelce at the Chiefs' game against the Buffalo Bills.

January 2024: Saved by the Perfect Kiss

Taylor joined Travis on the football field when the Chiefs won the AFC Championship , a victory that cemented the team's spot in the 2024 Super Bowl . The couple shared a celebratory kiss before exchanging the L-word .

"Tay, I'm gonna enjoy with the guys," he told her. "I love you—so much it's not funny."

February 2024: Super Bowl Champs

The pair locked lips on the field after Travis led the Kansas City Chiefs to victory on Feb. 11, 2024 in Las Vegas.

February 2024: TikTok Official

Taylor posted footage of Travis on social media for the first time Feb. 12, poking fun at how she took her parents clubbing with the athlete after the Super Bowl.

June 2024: Instagram Official

Taylor's first Instagram pic featuring Travis was a selfie of the two with  Prince William and his and wife  Kate Middleton 's eldest kids  Prince George and  Princess Charlotte backstage at the singer's Eras tour show at Wembley Stadium in London.

June 2024: Travis' Eras Tour Stage Debut

While attending his seventh Eras tour concert, and second show at London's Wembley Stadium, the NFL star joined his girlfriend onstage as a backup performer during her performance of "I Can Do It With a Broken Heart."

Taylor Swift had a special guest at her recent show, and his name is Travis Kelce !

On Friday, July 5, videos posted to TikTok showed the pop star, 34, and the Kansas City Chiefs tight end, also 34, smiling and waving to hordes of screaming fans.

The footage is from Swift’s Amsterdam Eras Tour stop at the Johan Cruijff Arena.

“Omg Travis IS there!!” one video was captioned. In the clip, Swift and Kelce, who went public with their romance in October 2023, walk through the venue together as Kelce amps up cheers from the crowd.

At one point, he sweetly puts his arm around Swift and kisses her on her temple while she smiles and waves to fans.

Another TikTok clip had the text “ Tayvis ” written on top.

Throughout their relationship, the superstars have both made time to support each other, with the 14-time Grammy winner making it to 13 of his Kansas City Chiefs games this past season (including the team's Super Bowl win! ).

Meanwhile, Kelce has shown up to at least 10 of her shows worldwide — including Kansas City, Mo.; Buenos Aires, Argentina; Singapore and France.

But his visits haven’t been limited to watching the “Love Story” singer perform, he’s also joined her on stage!

On Wednesday, July 3, the NFL pro explained how his onstage debut with Swift in London came about during the season 2 finale episode of his New Heights with Jason and Travis Kelce podcast.

" I initially mentioned it to Tay ," Travis told his brother and co-host Jason Kelce about the Wembley Stadium show. "I was like, ‘How funny would it be if I just rolled out on one of the bikes during the 1989 era.' "

While the thought seemed funny to her at first, Swift then asked, "'Would you seriously be up for doing something like that?’ ”

Travis was down to make the idea a reality.

"I was just like, ‘What? I would love to do that, are you kidding me? I've seen the show enough — might as well put me to work here,' " he recalled. "And sure enough, she found the perfect part of the show for me to come in.”

As Swift sang "I Can Do It With a Broken Heart," they both appeared on stage in tuxedo and top hat looks.

Fans and fellow superstars alike are in support of the couple’s relationship.

Soon after, deaf artist and lip reader Jackie Gonzalez went viral on social media for decoding the conversation , which appeared to have the Pretty Woman alum, 56, telling the NFL star, "I'm so unusually happy for you guys, and I don't mean to make you nervous, but it makes me so happy."

On the Season 2 final episode of Kelce's "New Heights" podcast, he told his brother Jason the story behind joining the Eras Tour cast.

"I initially mentioned it to Tay," he said. "I was like, 'How funny would it be if I just rolled out on one of the bikes during the "1989" era?' She started laughing. River Plate stadium

...

Present in tours

The Estadio Monumental is the home of Club Atlético River Plate, one of Argentina's two most popular football (soccer) clubs.

The stadium is one of the most important in South America, and, with a capacity of 76,000, it's the biggest in Argentina. It hosts most of Argentina's international home matches and has also been the venue for performances by international singers and bands.

Located in the neighborhood of Nuñez, the stadium opened in 1938 and was enlarged in 1978 when Argentina hosted (and won) the World Cup.

River Plate also has one of the largest sports museums in the world - 3,500 meters squared - with installations detailing the history of the club, including a 360º audiovisual spectacle.

Curiosities

River Plate was able to finish the stadium thanks to income generated from the sale of a single player - Enrique Omar Sívori - who was sold to Italy's Juventus in 1957 at a record price for the time.

The club took its name from an English mistranslation of Rio de la Plata - the estuary on which Buenos Aires sits.  Plata  means silver, not plate.

Travis Kelce keeps the ‘Eras Tour’ crowd on its feet to cheer for Taylor Swift

Travis Kelce knows how to hype up Taylor Swift on her “Eras Tour.”

Swift brought her record breaking tour to Amsterdam for three nights at Johan Cruijff Arena from July 4 to July 6. In addition to the tens of thousands of fans in attendance, Kelce was in the crowd cheering on Swift during her July 5 concert.

Rather than watching from the VIP tent this time around, videos from fans shared on social media captured the Kansas City Chiefs tight end sitting in a suite at the arena.

After the concert, Swift and Kelce met up backstage and left the arena hand-in-hand.

X user @_Jolene_Jolene captured the moment between the couple on video. In the clip, the couple held hands as Swift waved to the cheering fans who remained in the crowd after the show.

Kelce kept the crowd going, waving his hands up and down to signal the audience to get louder, before clapping for Swift himself.

At the end of the video, Kelce put his arm around Swift’s shoulders and kissed the top of her head.

Kelce is no stranger to the “Eras Tour” s ince he and Swift went public with their relationship in September 2023.

Before they were a couple, the NFL star famously attended Swift’s show in Kansas City on July 8, 2023, and confessed on his podcast that he had wanted to give her a friendship bracelet that included his number.

Kelce first attended the tour as Swift’s beau in November 2023 at one of the singer’s shows in Buenos Aires, Argentina , which marked the first time Swift changed the lyrics in her finale song “Karma” to, “Karma is the guy on the Chiefs / Coming straight home to me.”

The football star went on to attend her 2024 concerts in Sydney , Singapore and Paris .

Kelce took it a step further when he attended her shows in London . During the three-night stop at Wembley Stadium, he and Swift met Prince William backstage , along with his children Prince George and Princess Charlotte. Kelce also made a surprise appearance onstage with Swift during a skit before her performance of “I Can Do It With a Broken Heart.”

The next week, he met Julia Roberts and Stevie Nick s in Dublin and called the experience "unbelievable" on “New Heights,” the podcast he co-hosts with his older brother , former Philadelphia Eagles center Jason Kelce.

Over the course of their relationship, the support has been mutual between Swift and Travis Kelce.

Swift attended several of Kelce’s games with the Chiefs at the end of 2023 and the beginning of 2024 to cheer on the NFL star and his teammates. She also attended the 2024 Super Bowl fresh off a run of shows in Tokyo and celebrated with Kelce on the field after the Chiefs defeated the San Francisco 49ers.
