Amazing experience... Taco was an amazing DJ doing a great job of hyping the crowd up. Then Vince came out and killed it just a great set. the stage design was like no other the rotating screens were really cool and it was nice that they put timers up so we knew when Vince would come out. Tyler's performance was just amazing he performed for 2 1/2 hours and he really is a great performer, he performed both old and new songs there wasn't a favorite of mine that he missed. The stage design was so cool with a huge tree for Tyler to stand on. Tyler really cares about his fans he sang happy birthday to this one dude which was so sick. The show was sold out so 2,400 people were all singing the words to his songs which was just amazing the best concert experience I have ever had I have to go see him live again.

Rex Orange County opened with dope beach vibes then later joined in on "Boredom". After Rex finished, Tyler carried the show alone reflecting the energy of the whole crowd. He is a lightening storm on stage. He said that one of his goals on this tour is to see the crowd dance and his beats strongly reflect that sentiment. If you find yourself lucky at one of his shows, do yourself a favor; wear sneakers and don't bring your drink into the mosh pit, you're in for a treat.

I loved every min of his performance.. I loved and appreciated the re-verb of ''tell these black kids they can be who they are'' means so much to us. And I know this isn't his favorite album and It didn't come out as this ''star studded'' album. But there's no one couldn't have said it better than Tyler at this time. So I want to thank him for that. Maybe he will finally be able to score a movie that would be so !!!!

Tyler, the Creator  is taking his blond bob wig across the pond. On the heels of his Grammy victory for best rap album last month, the 28-year-old announced a slew of dates on Wednesday (Feb. 5) for the European leg of his IGOR Tour.

After stops in New Orleans for the Buku Music + Art Project and Pharrell ‘s Something in the Water Festival in Virginia Beach, Tyler will head to Paris to kick off the trek. Stops along the way include shows in Poland, Barcelona, Amsterdam, London and Ireland.

A good portion of the sets come billed as part of a larger festival, so ticketing options and availability will vary, but check out Tyler’s website for more information.

Tyler, the Creator has pulled out of his headlining sets at this year’s Lollapalooza and Outside Lands music festivals.

“i hate saying this but i have to cancel lollapalooza and outside lands,” he wrote on X, formerly Twitter. “i made a commitment that i can no longer keep, and that bums me out knowing how excited folks were. that is not sexy at all. please please forgive me or call me names when you see me in person. love.”

Lollapalooza will take place Aug. 1-4 at Chicago’s Grant Park. Outside Lands is set one week later, from Aug. 9-11, at San Francisco’s Golden Gate Park.

Tyler, the Creator last headlined Lollapalooza and Outside Lands in 2021, in support of his album “Call Me if You Get Lost.” In April, he headlined Coachella shortly after the release of the expanded “Call Me if You Get Lost: The Estate Sale.” During his headlining Coachella set, he brought out Childish Gambino, A$AP Rocky, Charlie Wilson and Kali Uchis.

“Tyler is a master conceptualizer, and knows how to toy with the various frequencies of his stage, dimming the lights for reflective moments and dancing around shooting flames during more electrified songs,” Variety ‘s Steven J. Horowitz wrote of the performance . “But beyond all the bells and whistles of the production, Tyler controls the spotlight. It’s impossible to take your eyes off of him, and throughout the 80-minute closing set of the day, the energy — of both Tyler and the audience — never waned, even when he took a few moments to pause and collect himself between songs (or, at one point, to eat a sandwich while sitting in front of a green tent midway through ‘IFHY’).”

Tyler Gregory Okonma (born March 6, 1991) also known as Tyler, The Creator, is a Grammy award-winning American rapper, singer, record producer, director, fashion designer, and the head of his independent record label, Odd Future Records. He was the leader of the now-defunct Los Angeles, California, USA hip-hop collective Odd Future Wolf Gang Kill Them All (OFWGKTA). Since his first recordings had debuted on The Odd Future Tape in 2007, he had rapped on, and produced for, nearly every OFWGKTA release. Tyler's third studio album, known as Wolf, was released in 2013. Tyler alluded to several possible track names on his Formspring account, and he stated that the album would focus less on rapping and more on production. In an interview with DJ Semtex, he confirmed that he would handle all the production on the album, except for one song produced by Left Brain, the same approach that was used for Goblin. On February 14, 2013, OFWGKTA uploaded a video to their YouTube account, which included L-Boy skydiving and stating that on April 2, 2013. Tyler revealed three album covers via his Instagram. The first single from the album was released on February 14, 2013, titled " Domo 23" along with the music video which features cameos from Domo Genesis, Earl Sweatshirt, Jasper Dolphin and Taco Bennett. On February 26, 2013, Tyler performed the songs "Domo23" and "Treehome95" on Late Night with Jimmy Fallon.

Tyler, the Creator Cancels European Tour

Tyler, the Creator  has cancelled the European dates on his current headlining tour. He was previously slated to perform at a series of concerts and festivals across Europe following his appearance at this year’s NXNE. Today, he took to Twitter to announce the cancellation, writing: “No more europe tour, sorry, next time.” Pitchfork has reached out to Tyler’s representatives for further comment. Last year, Tyler toured behind  Cherry Bomb   with A$AP Rocky . He recently announced that his annual music festival Camp Flog Gnaw will be returning to Exposition Park in Los Angeles this October.

Tyler, the Creator cancels headlining gigs at Lollapalooza, Outside Lands. It’s not clear why

Tyler, the Creator is dropping out of headlining gigs at the Lollapalooza and Outside Lands music festivals later this summer, and his team is shedding no light on the situation.

Tyler, 33, was slated to headline both music festivals, which take place in early August. He apologized to fans Thursday in a post announcing his decision on X.

No other additional details were given on the reason behind his departure. Tyler’s representative told The Times there would be no further comment at this time.

A few minutes after Tyler’s announcement, Lollapalooza declared it would be a “Hot girl summer in Chicago” with Megan Thee Stallion taking over Tyler’s Aug. 1 spot.

Likewise, Outside Lands said rising star Sabrina Carpenter would fill in for Tyler Aug. 10 in San Francisco because he could no longer perform “due to personal reasons.”

The 2024 Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival is underway in Indio. Saturday’s highlights include a headlining set by Tyler, the Creator, a No Doubt reunion.

The announcement came a day after Tyler appeared onstage in Inglewood during Kendrick Lamar’s “The Pop Out — Ken & Friends” show at the Forum. At the concert, which was tied to the Juneteenth holiday, Tyler performed “Earfquake” to a roaring crowd that loudly sang lyrics back to him.

“it was beautiful to see the whole city come together last night,” he wrote on X after the show. “my first raps were written at home off crenshaw dr and 82nd, right down the street” from the Forum.

In April, Tyler had headlining gigs on both Saturdays at the 2024 Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival . He’s expected to return to the stage in October at the Austin City Limits Festival, where Chris Stapleton and Dua Lipa will headline on Friday and Saturday before Tyler’s Sunday headliner appearance.

Tyler, the Creator Tells Fans 'Call Me Names' as He Cancels Lollapalooza and Outside Lands Performances: 'Forgive Me'

Sad news, Tyler, the Creator fans: the rapper will no longer perform at this year’s Lollapalooza and Outside Lands music festivals.

The Call Me If You Get Lost artist, 33, broke the news on X (formerly Twitter) on Thursday, June 20, writing, “i hate saying this but i have to cancel lollapalooza and outside lands.” 

He was originally scheduled to headline the Chicago and Bay Area festivals, but has since been replaced with Megan Thee Stallion and Sabrina Carpenter , both events announced on Thursday.

“i made a commitment that i can no longer keep, and that bums me out knowing how excited folks were,” Tyler continued, also posting the message on his Instagram Stories. “that is not sexy at all.”

The “Juggernaut” rapper concluded his announcement by telling fans, “please please forgive me or call me names when you see me in person. Love.”

Hours before his cancellation, Tyler made a surprise appearance at Kendrick Lamar ’s The Pop Out: Ken & Friends concert in Los Angeles, where he shook up the crowd by performing hits like “Earfquake" and "WusYaName,” off his last two studio albums.

The two-time Grammy winner later took to X to thank the “ Not Like Us ” rap star, 37, for letting him join the star-studded Juneteenth celebration at the Kia Forum, which also featured appearances from fellow West Coast artists like Dr. Dre , Ty Dolla $ign , YG , Roddy Ricch and many more.

Prior to the L.A. show, Tyler headlined Coachella 2024 , delivering a cinematic set with cuts from albums like Goblin , Wolf , Flower Boy , Igor and even the deluxe version of 2019’s Call Me If You Get Lost , The Estate Sale . He also brought out special guests like A$AP Rocky , Childish Gambino , Kali Uchis and Charlie Wilson .

The “New Magic Wand” rapper is still slated to headline Austin City Limits this October, along with  Dua Lipa , Chris Stapleton , Blink-182 , Sturgill Simpson and Pretty Lights.

Last night’s (June 19) ‘The Pop-Out: Ken and Friends’ show featuring headliner Kendrick Lamar had the city of Los Angeles in a chokehold thanks not only to the man of the hour hitting fans with his many classics — including latest smash , “Not Like Us,” — but due to the many “friends” he brought along, making for an unforgettable night of Hip-Hop.

K. Dot was sure to show love to his fellow West Coast rappers, as Tyler, the Creator, YG , and more from the Golden State all hit the stage. The show even brought about a reunion for TDE ‘s Black Hippy, featuring members Lamar, Jay Rock, Schoolboy Q, and Ab-Soul.

Things weren’t just crackin’ on stage, however, as plenty of celebrity friends and fans of the Compton wordsmith showed up just to enjoy the festivities, including LeBron James and proud LA natives DeMar DeRozen and Russell Westbrook , both of whom also hit the stage with the battle-tested MC.

Tyler, the Creator is pulling out of two major summer music festivals.

On Thursday, the "Earfquake" singer and rapper announced he's pulling out of his headlining sets at Lollapalooza in Chicago and Outside Lands in San Francisco.

"i hate saying this but i have to cancel lollapalooza and outside lands. i made a commitment that i can no longer keep, and that bums me out knowing how excited folks were," he wrote on social media. "that is not sexy at all. please please forgive me or call me names when you see me in person. love."

USA TODAY reached out to reps for Tyler, the Creator for comment.

Lollapalooza will take place in Grant Park from Aug. 1 to Aug. 4 followed by Outside Lands from Aug. 9 to Aug. 11 at Golden Gate Park.

The "Hiss" rapper's appearance comes amid her Hot Girl Summer Tour, her first headlining tour experience. She is gearing up to release her third studio album, "Megan," on June 28 just in time for Lollapalooza attendees.

Sabrina Carpenter is having her debut performance at Outside Lands as the replacement headliner for Tyler, the Creator, the festival announced Thursday .

The "Espresso" singer's headlining performance announcement comes on the same day she announced she will be touring for her album " Short n' Sweet ," out on August 23.

The 29-date tour will kick off on Sept. 23 in Columbus, Ohio, after she performs at the Outside Lands Festival in San Francisco in August. Carpenter will head to cities across the U.S. and Canada, including New York and Los Angeles. Dates are scheduled through November.

FLORENCE, Italy (AP) — Tadej Pogacar was infected with COVID-19 during his Tour de France preparations, the two-time champion revealed Thursday — two days before the race starts in Italy.

The Slovenian is aiming for the rare Tour and Giro d’Italia double after dominating the Italian race last month.

Pogacar, who won the Tour in 2020 and 2021, said that the virus only prevented him from training for one day.

“It’s not as serious anymore. Especially if your body already had the virus before and I had it once or twice,” Pogačar said, adding that he caught the virus about 10 days ago. “It wasn’t too bad, just like a cold. It passed really fast.

“I stopped for one day and then (did) some rollers inside,” he added. “Then when I wasn’t sick anymore, I was riding outside.”

Pogacar has been dominant this season, winning four of the five races he’s entered and collecting 14 victories in 31 days of racing — including Strade Bianche and Liege-Bastogne-Liege.

The last rider to win the Giro and the Tour in the same year was Marco Pantani in 1998.

After back-to-back Tour titles, Pogacar then finished runner-up to Jonas Vingegaard the last two years.

Vingegaard was hospitalized for nearly two weeks in April following a high-speed crash in the Tour of the Basque Country. He sustained a broken collarbone and ribs and a collapsed lung and has not raced since.

“I’m just happy to be here at the start line of the Tour de France — I think that’s a victory in itself,” Vingegaard said. “I did a lot of work, a lot of good work, and I’m not in a bad shape. But it was such a bad crash that everything from here is a bonus.”

Grammy-winning rapper Tyler, The Creator will be embarking on a monumental North American tour in early 2022 supporting his brand new album 'Call Me If You Get Lost' . The 35-date trek kicks off February 8th in Phoenix and continues into April visiting major U.S. markets like Las Vegas, Dallas, Chicago, Detroit, Philadelphia, Washington DC, New York, Miami, Houston, Seattle and his hometown of Los Angeles. Canadian shows are planned for Laval, Toronto and Vancouver. Joining the tour in support will be special guests Kali Uchis , Vince Staples and Teezo Touchdown.

Tyler released his sixth studio album 'Call Me If You Get Lost' on June 25th, 2021 via Columbia Records. The new album reached #1 on the Billboard 200 and features guest appearances by Ty Dolla Sign , Lil Wayne , Lil Uzi Vert , Pharrell Williams , YoungBoy Never Broke Again , DJ Drama , 42 Dugg , Domo Genesis and Brent Faiyaz . His previous 2019 album 'IGOR' was certified Platinum by the RIAA and won Best Rap Album at the Grammy Awards.
