The Resort is the ideal stop-over to the Kruger National Park.

Needs minor maintenance (a few missing tiles, some globes need replacing, door locks in bathroom).

Overall very neat and clean. Staff is friendly. Park is nice and quiet. Excellent for relaxing after a day in the Kruger. Would definitely visit again!

A Forever Resort

Lying just outside the Phalaborwa Gate to Kruger Park, Phalaborwa Safari Park is an ideal place to enjoy yourself in unspoiled nature. It is also one of the prettiest caravan and camping areas in Limpopo. The park has 47 sites that are serviced by two well-designed ablution facilities, which are also wheelchair-friendly.

Special rates are offered to long-stay guests (pensioners and non-pensioners), and this proves very popular during the winter months, when people come to this park to get away from the cold weather. The resort has 24-hour security. The park is ideally situated for shopping in Phalaborwa, where all of the usual shops are available, plus a good selection of restaurants where you can enjoy a relaxing meal while sharing your tales of the day’s adventures. Phalaborwa Safari Park offers ample birdwatching opportunities, or you can slip into the rock pool, relax around a traditional braai under the expanse of an African night sky, or even enjoy a game drive in the Kruger National Park.

(Quick access is available via the Phalaborwa Kruger Gate. Game drives can be arranged through the resort’s office.) Other activities and facilities nearby include the Amarula Lapa, which is the ideal place to sample cream liqueurs, the Letaba Elephant Museum, the Blyde River Canyon, the Blyde Canyon Adventure Centre, the Bombyx Mori Silk Farm, the Kapama Cheetah Project, the Moholoholo Wildlife Rehabilitation Centre, Moholoholo Mountain View and the Kamahi Reptile Park.
