It is a great concept, but needs work

The concept is great, being able to tour properties without having to go into a leasing office. However, it would be nice if it actually worked. This has happened with almost every tour. The lock box rarely works with the app or the app glitches. When you contact Tour24 support, they aren’t much help and they tell you to talk to a leasing agent who of course, wouldn’t be much help either because it’s not their product. If prospective renters need to contact the leasing office or agent to get access to the lock box, it defeats the purpose of having a self guided tour/no contact tour.

Developer Response ,

Thank you for the feedback! If you could please email me at [email protected] - I would love the opportunity to discuss your issues further. It is our top priority to ensure you have the best experience when touring an apartment through Tour24! Thank you - Jamie

Needs a lot of work

This app could have potential but it need a lot of work. My son and I tried to look to 2 apartments today and both attempts failed. He kept having to close the app and try to load again. We would get to the “key” icon and try to click it to unlock and it would just repeatedly fail. No message. Nothing. Just unresponsive. 2 different properties. My other big complaint is why wouldn’t you provide more information on the properties? Why not provide searches for properties that provide this, so we can focus on those if we know we are already outside normal business hours for these places? You have to first identify the property is a tour 24 property from their website then come back to that app. It’s just really inefficient then doesn’t work when we got there. Literally wasted nearly an hour and a half today using this app.
Thank you for providing this feedback! Can you please email us at [email protected] as we would like to look into your issue more specifically. Thank you again!

Convenient and Easy!

The app is super easy to follow and quickly allows you to register for a self guided tour of the apartment community. I really like the convenience of touring the complex on my own, and being able to take a closer look at the amenities that really interest me. I work late, after the leasing office is closed and I loved the fact I was able to see the model, after they closed and on my own time. This app is an amazing way to get an actual feel of what living at the community is really like.

Sustainability efforts on this tour will include reducing greenhouse gas pollution, decreasing single-use plastic waste, supporting climate action, and updating concession offerings to promote and encourage plant-based food options with Support+Feed .

In keeping with her commitment to making a difference in the environmental impacts of her music and touring, a portion of the proceeds from ticket sales in North America will go to  REVERB  and its ongoing effort to help support organizations across the country addressing the impacts of food insecurity and the climate crisis.

FAN PARTICIPATION

Bring an empty reusable water bottle or donate for a custom RockNRefill Nalgene bottle to fill up at the free water refill stations located at each venue. The RockNRefill bottles and refill stations are located at the Eco-Villages in the main concourse at all shows. Fight fast fashion by opting for thrifted, upcycled, or borrowed clothes instead of buying new clothing to wear to shows.

If fans purchase tickets for a show in the U.S. or Canada and can’t attend, they’ll have the option to resell them to other fans at the original price paid. To help protect the Exchange, the tour has requested all tickets be mobile only and restricted from transfer. This applies to all shows except those in Colorado, Illinois, and New York where Face Value Exchange cannot be mandated. Please note, a valid bank account or debit card within the country of your event is required to sell on the Face Value Exchange. More information on how the Ticketmaster Exchange works is available here .

Gary Player: ‘Tiger Woods’ PGA Tour career completely ruined’ amid “wrong decision”

Player dropped a bomb regarding Tiger Woods’ career and how changes prevented him from winning more majors on the PGA Tour.

Gary Player, Tiger Woods, PGA Tour

Gary Player joined the German KW Golf YouTube channel to discuss various topics, including his health, fantastic golf courses, exercise, golf coaches and the difference between pros and amateurs.

But most interestingly, he voiced his opinion on Tiger Woods' career and how the Big Cat’s choices saw him underachieve, relatively speaking of course.

Starting at 8:45 in the video, Player dropped the microphone.

“Tiger Woods had his career ruined, completely ruined,” Player said. “He won the 14th major at the U.S. Open at Pebble Beach. He won by 14 shots. The next week, he’s having a lesson from a man who, I don’t know if he played in the Masters, couldn’t break 80, but he’s having a lesson from this guy.”

He did not stop there. The 88-year-old explained how Woods continued to make what he deemed poor decisions.

“Then he goes to another guy who couldn’t break probably 85 in the Masters, with the pressure or the British Open or the PGA on the final day, and he’s having lessons from them,” he said. “Why did Tiger do that? He was so good, but I understand he wanted to get better. If he went along and never changed, he would have won a minimum of 22, maybe more.”

“He would have gone down as the greatest athlete the world has ever seen, man or woman on the planet, but he made the wrong decision,” Player said.

Player goes on to state there are at least 20 players that have screwed up their game because of their swing coach choices. He named Trevor Immelman, Mike Weir, Michael Cameron and Woods as a few examples.

Tiger Woods, PGA Tour, Gary Player

Tiger won his 15th major in 2019 at the Masters, taking home the green jacket for a fifth time. After that, the horrific 2021 car crash set him back.

“Unfortunately, he’s hurt his leg so badly. Whether he’ll win another tournament or not is debatable,” Player noted.

The 24-time PGA Tour winner explained how he will always root for Tiger because of how he changed golf.

Player did not drop any swing coaches’ names, but those who have followed Tiger’s career likely know who he is hinting at ruining the 82-time winner’s career. Regardless, he voiced a strong opinion that will certainly create some discourse.

Did Woods ruin his career by changing his swing so many times, or were injuries and other elements causing him to underachieve as a golfer? Sound off in the comments, and let us know what you think.

Bolton: Embrace weather variable for this week’s Lone Star shootout

Golfbet News

Change Text Size

In a perfect world, we’d prefer to eliminate the unpredictability of the elements of an outdoor sport in favor of data sets that help us understand what our eyes are witnessing. But golf is an imperfect pursuit.

As detailed below, THE CJ CUP Byron Nelson will be staged in conditions that, well, amount to the opposite of “golf in a dome” that often serves as the setting for The American Express in the Coachella Valley every winter. Sure, La Quinta, California, isn’t immune to rain and wind, but it’s typically a placebo compared to north Texas in springtime.

So it goes. Deal with it. Embrace the random.

While conditions should be OK most of the time north of Dallas, this still will be a week when it’ll feel like it’s going to be better to be lucky than good. That yields the chance to have some fun.

If your profile is to play it smart and safe, great. But if you’ve ever thought about being a little, say, counterintuitive, give that a go at TPC Craig Ranch. A shootout already is promised, so there’s that headwind for otherwise predictable results, but better-laid plans don’t necessarily apply when the weather doesn’t cooperate.

Golfbet Insider Rob Bolton | THE CJ CUP Byron Nelson

At the end of every round and eventually the tournament, there could be a little to learn about the experience, so even if it doesn’t go your way, that’s still something to take forward for the next time the roof is open.

Since Monday’s Power Rankings, in which I always review the weather for the first time every week, the risk of inclement weather for Thursday’s opening round has increased. It includes a very good chance for thunderstorms. Because of the danger, bet the over on a delay at some point. Friday’s forecast is more favorable.

When this happens, it can be shrewd to stack based on the draw in DFS. While blending in PGA TOUR Fantasy Golf is advised for the long haul, short-range considerations all but demand betting on the coin flip. You’re already in shark-infested waters, so you might as well jump in with a plan to sink or swim. Treading is only for also-rans.

Another change in the last two days is when the wind will challenge most. Because it’s always the hardest to predict, there are two types of gamers – those who have complained about it and those who will – and you know who you are. Moving Day on Saturday now presents as the best of the bunch, albeit for seriously breezy conditions for Sunday’s finale.

All in all, when the conditions are a crapshoot for a shootout, conviction in decisions is the driving force. Ignore the nuance, dismiss the edge and go all-in on the most compelling combination of factors for your sensibilities.

Power Rankings wild card

Keith Mitchell (+375 = Top 10) … Cashmere Keith has been a top-20 machine in 2024 and he hasn’t gone consecutive starts without one in his last eight starts. Prior to a T28 with Joel Dahmen at the Zurich Classic of New Orleans, Mitchell placed T14 at the Valero Texas Open for his sixth top 20 of the season. He remains a rock star off the tee and on approach, so the challenge has been wringing consistency out of the putter. Both of his previous appearances at TPC Craig Ranch were when it played as a par 72 (2021 and 2022) and he averaged 69.25. To consider qualifying for next week’s Wells Fargo Championship, he’d need to podium this week, but this finish would be just fine for us.

Other notables

Aaron Rai (+160 = Top English) … Man, what to do with this guy. The Brit always presents so attractively but he isn’t plus value for a finish unless you shop in the market for top 20s at +225, and he’s had only two of those in a dozen starts this year. That’s why to beat five others among his countrymen is the smarter move. (At +350, Matt Wallace is second-shortest among the subset.) Sits 13th on TOUR in greens hit and T32 in proximity.

Daniel Berger (+130 = Top 40) … At some point, he’ll be reinserted into the option to make or miss the cut, but we can’t complain about the kickback for this finish. No, he hasn’t reconnected with the firepower that pushed him to the front of the stage, but if you’re going to hedge on when he’s going to deliver again, you might as well lean in when his only finish at TPC Craig Ranch is a T3 in 2021. The long game is back so you’re relying on this being the week when he (finally) finds magic with the putter. Two top 40s in nine starts this season.

Taiga Semikawa (+225 = Top 40) … With Peter Kuest hogging the headlines among non-members at TPC Craig Ranch, it’s easy to overlook the 23-year-old from Japan who’s making his fourth PGA TOUR start of the season. He’s making the trip from a T24 at the ISPS HANDA CHAMPIONSHIP but his youth is a weapon against jet lag. He’s already a four-time winner on the Japan Golf Tour where he placed second in the Order of Merit in 2023. We’re not asking for a victory (at +25000), just a return to some form that rewarded his muscle off the tee and precision on approach on his home circuit last year.

NOTE: Not everything needs a setup. For a variety of reasons, these lines are too enticing to ignore.

  • PARLAY: Thomas Detry, Keith Mitchell and Adam Schenk (+190 = All to Make the Cut)
  • Aaron Baddeley (+200 = Top 40)
  • Rafael Campos (+333 = Top 40)
  • Nico Echavarria (+300 = Top South American)
  • Nate Lashley (+125 = Top 40)
  • Henrik Norlander (+230 = Top 40)
  • Kevin Tway (+170 = Top 40)

Notable WDs

Patrick Rodgers … This is his second early withdrawal of the season (WM Phoenix) to go with his mid-tournament exit from the Valero Texas Open, but he’s 37th in the FedExCup with three top 10s among six top 25s. Look for him as well at Quail Hollow Club next week.

Christiaan Bezuidenhout … A T3 at the ISPS HANDA CHAMPIONSHIP in Japan on Sunday lifted the South African to 53rd in the Official World Golf Ranking, so he’s in terrific position to qualify for the U.S. Open when the top 60 gain entry at the conclusion of the PGA Championship for which he’ll qualify via the OWGR early next week. He also might sneak into the field at next week’s Wells Fargo Championship via the Aon Next 10, in which he’s currently ninth.

Charley Hoffman … Rests after a T4-T11 fortnight that lifted him to 59th in the FedExCup. Suffice it to say that the 47-year-old has capitalized on the opportunities yielded by long-range insurance of a career earnings exemption this season.

Membership notes

Erik Barnes … Will Zalatoris is a headliner among the comeback stories in 2024, but Barnes deserves similar attention. Now almost 13 full months post-reconstructive surgery on the MPFL in his left knee, he’s 87th in the FedExCup with a playoff loss at the Puerto Rico Open punctuating six paydays in nine starts. Has eight starts on a medical extension to collect 46.563 FedExCup points. (He’s closest to his goal among all golfers on medicals.) That would require no worse than a solo 19th-place finish (worth 47 points) at TPC Craig Ranch where he’s making his debut. Because he’s already cleared the threshold for conditional status, he’s eligible for the Playoffs even if he falls short of the target on the medical, but fulfilling the medical would promote him from the graduate reshuffle category to the Major Medical category. It also would grant him the opportunity to tee it up in every open without sweating the cutline for entry on conditional status.

Rolling Stones Kick-Start ‘Hackney Diamonds’ Tour With Thrilling Houston Concert

By Andy Greene

Andy Greene

Over the past couple of decades, the Rolling Stones have looked for any reason to hit the road besides the release of a new album of original songs. They’ve launched tours celebrating their 50th anniversary, reissues of select archival records, the 2016 covers LP Blue & Lonesome , and their 60th anniversary. Some years they headed out on the stadium circuit for no particular reason whatsoever, knowing a Stones tour is a major event in and of itself.

The first step was Houston’s NRG Stadium on Sunday night. After a strong opening set by Gary Clark Jr. that centered around his new LP, JPEG Raw , the band took the stage to the familiar opening notes of “Start Me Up.” This is the first time Mick Jagger has faced a stadium crowd since his 80th birthday last year, but his voice and body seem like they stopped aging sometime around Steel Wheels . It’s almost impossible to fully believe until you see it in person. (“People say Joe Biden is too old to be president,” an elderly woman behind me said early in the night. “They need to look at Mick!”)

The 250 greatest guitarists of all time, the 500 greatest albums of all time, the 50 worst decisions in movie history, every awful thing trump has promised to do in a second term.

He wasn’t kidding. The 1965 Aftermath track wasn’t played live once until their 2022 European tour, and this was the first time it crossed the Atlantic. But it’s not something you hear much on classic rock radio, and the audience reaction was pretty muted at first. “I don’t think you really knew it,” Jagger said at the end. “But you got to know it as it went along.”

The Hackney Diamonds portion of the evening began at this point with leadoff single “Angry,” which popped onstage much like it did during their surprise album release show at the New York club Racket last year. “Beast of Burden” won the fan vote for the night, and it provided veteran backup Stones singer Bernard Fowler with a much-deserved spotlight moment. “You’ve got one more vote in November,” Jagger said. “Don’t forget to vote then too. What to play now? Something old … something new.”

At the midway point of every Rolling Stones concert in recent memory, Jagger introduces the band one by one before heading offstage so Keith Richards can sing a couple of songs. For some reason, perhaps to squeeze more new songs into the set without cutting any of the standards, Richards was limited to just a single tune. He made it count by singing 1981’s “Little T & A” for the first time since 2016, though it was disappointing he didn’t get a chance to break out “Tell Me Straight” from Hackney Diamonds . It feels inevitable that’ll happen before this tour ends.

Jagger returned for “Sympathy for the Devil” and “Gimme Shelter,” which gave new background singer Chanel Haynes a chance to emerge from the wings and show off her stunning pipes. She first entered Stones World in 2022 when Sasha Allen, their previous background singer, couldn’t make a Milan show. Haynes was playing the lead role in the West End musical Tina at the time, and she parachuted in at the last second to save the show. This frustrated the producers of Tina , who fired her for handing the show off to her understudy that night when she wasn’t ill, but it impressed the Stones enough to hire her for this tour.

The main set wrapped up with “Honky Tonk Women,” “Miss You,” “Paint It Black,” and “Jumpin’ Jack Flash.” These are songs they’ve done hundreds and hundreds of times for good reason. The hardcores may yearn for deeper cuts like “Memory Motel” or “Moonlight Mile,” but Jagger knows they’d cause many people to sit down and start scrolling through Instagram. And when you have a song like “Jumpin’ Jack Flash” in your repertoire, you simply have to play it every time you do a gig.

“Sweet Sounds of Heaven,” one of the finest songs on Hackney Diamonds , kicked off the brief encore set. If it wasn’t challenging enough to channel Merry Clayton a few songs back, Haynes had to now deliver Lady Gaga’s soaring vocal parts from the original recording. Unsurprisingly, she crushed it. For a moment, it really felt like witnessing a scene from some alternate-universe version of A Star Is Born.

The night closed out with a joyous “Satisfaction,” meaning they played just three songs from Hackney Diamonds. That’s typical for a tour in support of a latter-day Rolling Stones album, but this one really deserved more. They dropped “Midnight Rambler,” one of the Richards songs, and the acoustic set to make room for the three new ones in the show, but it be worth further restructuring to squeeze in “Whole Wide World,” “Bite My Head Off,” and “Tell Me Straight.” These are stellar songs that deserve a spot in the set, even if it means tossing aside “Paint It Black” or “You Can’t Always Get What You Want” sometimes.
