The Staysure PGA Seniors Championship is one of the highest tiered events on the Legends Tour International Schedule outside of the Senior Majors with a prize fund of £500,000.

The field of 90 competitors will be made up of the leading 60 players on the Legends Tour, the leading 15 players in the 2024 Senior PGA Professional Championship, not otherwise exempt, and a maximum of three invitations.

2022 Senior Open set for Gleneagles

Gleneagles will host The Senior Open Presented by Rolex for the first time when the iconic Scottish venue welcomes Europe’s only Senior Major Championship in 2022.

Prestigious venue, senior open anniversary, gleneagles debut, world class course, return to scotland.

Tournaments

The senior golf tour europe is for professional golfers aged over 50 who want play open golf tournaments and amateur golfers who want to compete along side the pros.​ all events are open for both men and women..

The events are over 36, 54 or 72 holes and are in attractive locations. You can pick your favorite tournament or join the whole week/combined event. See details for every event/tournament. Please contact us or the local organizer if you have any questions.

Minimum 6 Pro ams + 6 individual + 6 Better ball events per year organized by local partners. 

No registration fee

The prize funds for professionals are composed of entry fees and sponsorship.  All amateurs get a gift pack when they enter the event and play for an attractive prize table. 

There are standard regulations. Any particular tournament may have slight variations, these are set out in the tournament information pages.

The Senior Golf Tour Europe does not run the tournaments; that is done by the local tournament organizers.

Individual events

Individual tournaments will typically comprise of 36, 54 or 72 holes stroke play as shown on each tournament entry. In the event of a tie, a play-off will decide the winner.

Open for Professional and amateurs golfers, playing side by side.

Prize money for Professionals and products to amateurs.  All amateurs receive a gift pack.

Pro Am events

Pro-Am tournaments will typically comprise of 36, 54 or 72 holes stroke play of the best 2 net scores. Hcp 3/4 of the amateurs.

Prize money for Professionals and products to amateurs. All amateurs receive a gift pack.

Team events

Team tournaments will typically comprise of 18 or 36 holes. 

It can be Better Ball,  Foursome, Greensome or Texas Scramble events.

Are you a professional golfer aged 48 or older? Do you enjoy a challenge? The “Masters Pro Golf Tour” events are open to all declared Professional Golfers from the U.K and overseas of an age of 48+, with no restrictions on nationality or gender. The tour is also open to 48+ year old amateur golfers with a recognised index of 9 or less. We aim to run at least ten events per year in the UK and some overseas during the winter.  A mixture of one and two-day events and sometimes preceded with a Pro-Am. At most events we will run, in conjunction with the main event a Super Seniors section for those players aged 58 or over.

Membership of the tour has been set at £100  for the 2024  season.

Membership and entry fees are payable, in advance, by bank transfer, and the declared prize fund will depend on level of entries. Approximately one-third of the field will receive a share of the prize fund.

Within this site you will find some great new venues and a few old favourites. After months of searching the tour has put together a nice spread of golf clubs throughout Central England for you and your amateur partner to enjoy. Some golf courses are disappointed not to be involved but will be added after a first successful season. Join up, play well and have fun.

Welcome to the (UKSGA) UK Senior Golf Association

Since its formation in 2001 the UKSGA has become the focal point for Senior golfers looking to play competitive Scratch golf on quality venues, in a friendly and supportive environment predominantly in England & Wales.

The Association is affiliated to the European Senior Golf Association (ESGA) and this has influenced the format of the competitive golf offered by UKSGA. With members from 55 years to more than 80 years old we are an inclusive Association providing scratch golf across the entire membership. In addition  we enter teams into the ESGA team championships at Seniors (55+), Super Seniors (65+) and Masters (75+) every year.

From modest beginnings we now run eighteen 36 hole scratch events across the golfing year from October to September with members qualifying to represent the Association in the ESGA Team championships from our Order of Merits. The golfing year culminates in our National Finals in September.

The Association welcomes applications for membership from male golfers with a WHS index of 4.0 or better. We have more than 450 members including several who have won National Senior titles and represented their countries in European Seniors team championships and/or the Seniors Home Internationals.

While a competitive Association we pride ourselves in ensuring that our members enjoy their golf in a friendly and inclusive environment.

2024 Senior 50s Tour

Welcome to Re-Vamped Senior 50's Tour for 2024, still the only Amateur Senior Tour that follows the Legend Tour in starting events at 50 years old instead of 55.

In 2024 we will revert back to a season long Order of Merit (players can enter to play individual event). We will also have Handicap Categories instead of age categories, also with playing some fantastic venues we don’t want to alienate players under 50 who would love to play these courses, so anyone under 50 can play (will be a small prize dependent on numbers).

Tour Subscription will only be £10 (will include small gift).

· The events are Individual Stableford qualifying.

· Each event is passed by England Golf for handicap qualifying.

· Live scoring at every venue.
