Cool Travel - Travel and Tourism Agency

Cool travel.

Founded in 2007, CoolTravel is a company that organizes travels, events and experiences, and is proud to offer a rigorous and customer-focused service. However, their digital presence did not reflect their professionalism and quality, so they sought BloomIdea to help in this matter.

To provide a more complete travel experience to the user, to facilitate communication between travelers, and to make the information distribution easier (about the itinerary or possible changes in the original plan), BloomIdea developed both an integrated web-based platform and mobile apps.

On the CoolTravel website, the traveler finds the national and international travels that the agency offers at the moment, and when the destination is chosen, the agency provides all the relevant information through the smartphone app. A group chat is created for each travel, gathering everybody who is taking part in the travel, and the traveler is able to consult the itinerary (by day or map), an emergency contacts' list and recommendations suited for the chosen trip and destination. The app also sends custom push notifications, so that no information goes unnoticed.

CoolTravel’s content is now presented in an appealing and intuitive way in a Drupal website and in applications created in native language for iOS and Android, available in Portuguese and English.

Deciding the next holiday destination and enjoying the chosen travel, with the information in the palm of your hand, is now simpler and more pleasant due to the work of BloomIdea and CoolTravel. Where will you be travelling to?

Tips for naming your travel agency

Types of travel agency names, bottom line.

Picking the right name for your travel agency is an important first step in making your business vision a reality. Your agency name will show up everywhere — branding, invoices , contracts — so it should capture your specialty, personality, and plans to grow.

This article looks at different types of travel agencies and suggests hundreds of potential names in different categories to spark ideas. Read on for insights and inspiration as you name your company!

Naming your travel biz is about more than just a clever name. Your name sets the tone for your whole brand and shows how you help clients fulfill their travel dreams. As you brainstorm names, keep these tips in mind:

Show off what you do

What is rule #1 when naming a travel agency? Make sure your specialty is clear. Tour companies, cruise sellers, niche travel agents — your name should instantly tell people what you do. This helps attract great customers by setting expectations around your services.

When potential clients get what you offer, they can tell if you're a fit for their needs.

Share your personality

Your company name also captures the heart of your business. It hints at what makes you tick - your passions, perspectives, and what makes your approach unique.

Ask yourself: What values do I operate under? What travel principles guide me? You don't need to lay out detailed philosophies. But well-chosen words give a taste of your travel style to hook the right folks.

Be memorable

Being descriptive ties into showcasing your specialty. A name that tells people what you do sticks in their minds and spreads brand awareness by word-of-mouth.

But you also want something unique and fresh. Short, snappy names using rhymes, wordplay, or travel symbols make you pop.

Allow room to grow

While you probably start by specializing, ensure your name leaves room to expand someday. Many travel agents start a niche and then add more trips once they build a client base. Leave space to add cruise or family vacation planning down the road. See if your dream name limits you or offers flexibility.

Check availability & trademarks

This one's obvious but critical: search online to see if your desired name exists. Look nationwide for same-name travel businesses to avoid confusion between brands. Ideally, grab matching URLs, social handles, and trademarks to own your name fully. You can use a website like Namechk to quickly search if your name is available across various social media platforms.

Also, be mindful of any trademarks for existing names. If you plan on starting a travel agency in the US, be sure to browse through the United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO) search database . If you’re outside of the US, be sure to check with your local laws and regulations.

With so many kinds of travel companies, it's smart to pick a name tailored to your specialty. Every sector takes its own approach to descriptive, memorable titles.

As we break down popular niches, decide how to highlight your ideal travel specialty through naming. Here are the niches we will go through:

Tour operators

Travel advisors, specialty travel, luxury travel agencies, group tour agencies, online travel agencies, travel services firms, transportation logistics agencies, niche travel agencies.

Experts at leading guided adventures and tour operators handle all trip logistics — from 10 to 10,000 guests. Their names often emphasize exciting global places that highlight their destinations and options.

Red Square Moscow

Visiting Saint-Basil’s Cathedral inside

Even more emblematic than Moscow’s Red Square! Take a walk in Zariadye park: one of the coolest things to do in Moscow after visiting Red Square

Zaryadie Park is just a 10-minute walk from St. Basil’s Cathedral, so it’s easy to include in your itinerary if you’re going to visit Moscow in 2 days. From its heights, you can see the red walls of the Kremlin. But, the most impressive point of view is the platform which overlooks the Moskva river. A must see! And clearly one of the coolest things to do in Moscow!

  • Open 24 hours a day
  • Good to know! Park Zaryadye is also a place to visit in Moscow in winter. Find out more here: What to do in Moscow in winter?

Visit the Moscow Kremlin

Visit Kremlin is on top of things to do in Moscow. A place of power for centuries, the Kremlin then shows us a whole different image when viewed from the inside. If you want to visit Moscow in 2 days, the Kremlin is certainly one of the must-see places in Moscow.

Moscow Kremlin: skip-the-line tickets and 8 things not to miss

Visit the Cathedral of Christ the Savior

This impressive Moscow Cathedral is the seat of the Russian Orthodox Church. It is a must see if you visit Moscow in 2 days and clearly one of the things to do in Moscow. The Cathedral of Christ the Savior was first built in 1883 in memory of Russia’s victory over Napoleon’s Grand Army. Then in 1931 Stalin ordered its destruction. It was then rebuilt again (identically) only in 2000.

  • Where? Ulitsa Volkhonka 15. At the foot of the Kropotkinskaya metro station.

Cathedral of Christ the Savior

The old Krasny Oktyabr factory: one of the coolest things to do in Moscow

If you cross the Moskva River by a pedestrian bridge which is located just in front of the Cathedral of Christ the Savior, you will enjoy a beautiful view of the city and at the same time you can discover Balchug Island. Furthermore, if you want to visit Moscow in 2 days, you can include this island in your itinerary between the cathedral and Gorky park. Here is the old confectionery factory Krasny Oktyabr, which has gradually turned into a fashionable micro-district. There are then some elements of street art, cafes and restaurants and some Moscow bohemian side. At the end of the island you can see a gigantic 98-meter-high monument dedicated to the Russian reforming tsar Pierre The Great.

Good to know! You can find on this island are the trendiest nightclubs in Moscow. On weekends, there are taxi caps after midnight so there are so many people. On the other hand, if you go there in winter and during the day, the island is quite empty and less interesting to see.

Gorky Park is one of the TOP places to visit in Moscow, because it allows you to better understand the life of the locals and their rhythm. In fact, it’s a huge entertainment park. For example, in winter there is a giant ice rink and in summer – free dance or yoga lessons, sandy beaches for playing volleyball, an outdoor cinema. So, like the locals, have a Stakantchik (ice cream or cooked corn), and enjoy the atmosphere of the place: that’s one of the interesting things to do in Moscow to discover the city.

  • Where? Krymsky Val 9. 20 minutes’ walk from Krasny Oktyabr, along the quays.

Sparrow Hill and Moscow State University

The Sparrow Hill, Vorobiovy Gori in Russian, is the highest point in Moscow. It is rather known to Russians, but less to travelers. A nice view on Moscow opens from the hill, and in particular on the Luzhniki Stadium. In addition, on the hill itself is the Moscow State University: an impressive skyscraper from the Soviet era.

  • How to get there? By bus T7 (35 min) from Oktyaborskaya station, near Gorki Park. By metro (Vorobiovy Gorki station) + climb the hill on foot. On foot along the Moskva along the Gorky Park (1h30) + climb in funiculars.

Good to know! It is possible to cross the Moskva river by funicular. We actually tested it and it was pretty cool! That is one of our favorite things to do in Moscow!

What to do in Moscow

What to do in Moscow in 3 days?

If you are going to visit Moscow in 3 days, it would be interesting to dive into the Soviet era which strongly marked the country and the city. After the Bolshevik Revolution, the capital was transferred from Saint Petersburg to Moscow, in order to mark the change of power. Moscow then became the world showcase for communist ideology. Here are the best things to do in Moscow for 3-day-trip!

VDNKh, visit Moscow of the Soviet era

VDNKh is a large exhibition center in the north of Moscow, where there are still several striking witnesses of the USSR. The most interesting are the Museum of Cosmonauts and the Statue of the Worker and the Kolkhozian , which will certainly impress you with its size!

Visit

GULAG History Museum

The explanations of the museum are very well done. We really have the feeling of going back in time. If you are going to visit Moscow in 3 days and you are interested in history and this subject in particular, I recommend this museum. Visit the GULAG History Museum is one of the most interesting things to do in Moscow.

Discover the Patriarche Pounds district

It’s a nice neighborhood in Moscow where you can come across rather affluent locals, but not necessarily very bling-bling. Take a walk in this area is really a cool thing to do in Moscow! In addition, the Ponds of Patriarch is one of the places of Bulgakov’s novel “Master and Margarita”. As this is an interesting area to see, we have included it in a walking tour of Moscow. The route ends at the Moscow Kremlin, which is very convenient, because you will be able to visit Moscow in 3 days by optimizing your trips.

What to visit in Moscow in 4 days: TOP things to do in Moscow in 4 days

If you want to visit Moscow in 3 days, you will already see a lot of things. On the other hand, if you stay one more day, you have plenty to do! The Novodevichy Convent, the Tchistie Proudy district and the Izmaylovo Kremlin are very good candidates for you, if you are going to visit Moscow in 4 days.

Visiting Novodevichy Convent in Moscow

The Novodevichy Convent is one of the most brilliant examples of Russian architecture, according to UNESCO. This beautiful complex was built in 1524 and today consists of the convent, but also of a cemetery whose status could be compared to that of Père-Lachaise in Paris. Visiting Novodevichy Convent is one of the great things to do in Moscow, if you want to go a little bit outside of the center!

What to see in Moscow in one day

Discovering Tchistye Proudy district

It’s one of the most popular areas of Moscow, with many cafes, restaurants and bars nearby. It is therefore a place to discover if you want to visit Moscow in 4 days. It is just as pleasant for a stroll as for the discovery of local life. For example, in winter the pond turns into an ice rink.

Visiting the Izmaylovo Kremlin, one of the coolest things to do in Moscow!

The Izmaylovo Kremlin is more of a tourist than a historic place. On the other hand, it is a pretty impressive place to discover, especially on weekends. Inside the Kremlin, there is a flea market where you can find a little bit of everything, but mostly good souvenirs to bring from Moscow. For example, chapka, traditional Russian scarves or matryoshka (Russian dolls). Add the Kremlin and the Izmaïlovo market to your itinerary if you are going to visit Moscow in 4 days, because it is a nice and very colorful place! Visiting the Izmailovo Kremlin is one of the things to do in Moscow, if you want to put colors in your Instagram account! 😉

Things to do Moscow blog

In 4 days, we will have the opportunity to see several Moscow: Classic Moscow, Moscow of old Russia, Soviet Moscow and a little bit of the new Moscow. So what to visit in Moscow on the 5th day of travel?

What to visit in Moscow in 5 days?

Art lovers will be delighted to discover the Tretyakov Gallery and the Pushkin Museum of Fine Arts, while others will prefer to stroll along Arbat Street, see the buildings of Moskva-City or visit Bunker 42.

Admiring Russian art at Tretyakov Gallery

Founded in 1856 by an industrialist and great lover of art, the gallery has grown over the decades, and then bequeathed to the state. Today the collection includes more than 140,000 pieces, 15,000 of which are paintings. Visiting the Tretyakov Gallery is one of the things to do in Moscow if you want to discover Russian art!

  • Where? Pereoulok Lavrouchinski 10. A 5-minute walk from Tretiakovskaya station
  • Opening hours. Open from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. until 9 p.m. Thursday and Friday. Closed on Mondays.
  • Entry tickets. 500 RUB.

Museum to see

Visiting the Pushkin Museum of Fine Arts

The Pushkin Museum of Fine Arts presents the treasures of ancient Egypt, the paintings of Rembrandt and Cézanne, a fine collection of Impressionism.

  • Where? Ulitsa Volkhonka 12
  • Opening hours. Daily: 10: 00-20: 00, except Thursday: 11: 00-21: 00. Closed on Mondays. The boxes close an hour before closing.
  • Entry tickets. The prices vary according to the collections from 300 to 750 RUB.

Walking on Arbat Street

All Russians know Rue Arbat. So, walking on Arbat street is one of the things to do in Moscow. However, after the years, little by little it became very touristy. This is a pedestrian street only. There are souvenir shops, restaurants and cafes there, but it is no longer the most authentic neighborhood in the city.

Seeing the buildings of Moskva-City (Moscow City)

Moskva-City is Moscow’s business center, much like Paris’s Defense district. The skyscrapers of Moskva-City are among the tallest in Europe: 373 meters high! Very nice place to see at dusk.

Good to know! You can admire a nice view of Moscow City from the docks of Tarasa Shevchenko. It’s especially beautiful in the evening with all the lights on.

Bunker 42, one of the most unusual things to do in Moscow

Bunker 42 is a secret military complex which was to be used by the Soviets in the event of a nuclear attack: a space of 7000 m² 65 meters underground!

  • Where? 5 Kotelnitcheski Lane, 11.
  • Prices. 2200 RUB per person
  • Opening hours. Open daily from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m.
  • Restaurant inside. Original, but rather a tourist trap.

What to visit in Moscow in 6 days or more?

There are still so many places to see, because Moscow is a big megalopolis and there is always something exciting to do there. For example: the ancient Kolomenskoye village or the WINZAVOD contemporary art center .

If you are interested in history and want to see Russian cities on a rather “human scale”, it would certainly be interesting for you to discover the cities of the Golden Ring . For example, it is very easy to get to Sergey Posad from Moscow (less than 2 hours in train). Visiting the Golden Ring is one of the best things to do in Moscow if you are staying more than a 5-6 days.

There are still plenty of places to see in Moscow, however I did my best to list here the best things to do in Moscow, what to see in Moscow in one day, but also in 2, 3, 4 or 5 days in Moscow!

Lena, our guide in Moscow was excellent. She was very knowledgable and could answer any question we had for her. We liked that she could pick up on our interests and take us places we might not have thought of to go. When we realized that one of the places we had chosen to see would probably not be that interesting to us, she was able to arrange entry to the Diamond Fund and the Armoury for us. Riding the Metro with Lena was a real adventure and a lot of fun. In Saint Petersburg we found Anna well versed in the history of the Tsars and in the Hermitage collection. Arkady in Veliky Novgorod was a very good guide and answered all of our questions with ease. Novgorod was perhaps a long way to go for a day trip, but we did enjoy it. Vasily was a great driver to have and kept us safe with good humour and skill. We enjoyed ourselves so much, my daughter says she is already planning to return. We would both have no hesistation to recommend ExpresstoRussia to anyone we know.

Just wanted to let you know that My grandson Bruno and I couldn´t have been more pleased with our week in Moscow (6/15 - 6/21). We were absolutely enchanted with the whole experience, including getting lost a couple of times in the Metro during our free time. Although both our guides (both Eleanas) were excellent, I would particularly commend the first one (she took us to the Tatiakov, the KGB tour, and to that beautiful cemetery where so many great Russian artists, authors, composers, musicians, militarists, and politicians are buried). Her knowledge is encyclopedic; and her understanding of today´s Russia as a product of its past was, for us, truly enlightening. I will be taking another tour in Russia, with my wife, within the next two or three years. I will be in touch with you when the time comes. Meanwhile, I will refer you to other potential visitors to Russia as I meet them.

Novodevichy Convent, Moscow

Moscow, a City Like No Other

Moscow is Russia’s largest city with a population of between 12 and 13 million. It is also Europe’s largest city and when you visit Moscow, you can feel it. The layout and architecture of the city is eclectic, ranging from crooked, ancient streets and alleyways to wide, bustling boulevards, from medieval churches to Stalin skyscrapers and to modern, glass buildings towering over everything and of course in the center of it all is the Kremlin and the magnificent Red Square. Moscow is also home to a fantastic, efficient and very beautiful metro system – each station having its own special design. In fact, Express to Russia’s Moscow metro tours and excursions are some of our most popular attractions that we offer. On our Moscow tours, you will see this and more.

Moscow Kremlin in the times of Ivan III

Moscow Tours centering on Russian History

Moscow has a long and interesting history and has been the capital of Russia in many of its different iterations – capital of the Grand Duchy of Moscow , the Russian Empire and of course the Soviet Union (who could ever forget the Soviet Union?). Moscow, was founded in the 12th century by Prince Yuri Dolgaruki (Yuri of the long arms – he really did have long arms!). From that time on, it was home to the Russian Tsars until Peter the Great moved the capital to St. Petersburg in 1703. The city has survived invasions and sieges from the Mongols, the Tartars, the Poles, Lithuanians and Napoleon but has always persevered. Our Moscow tours will enlighten you on this great history and give you insights into Muscovites and their unique culture. Our Moscow tours show you what the city is like today but also brings to life the past. Moscow never seems to sleep and is bursting with energy. A Moscow tour with Express to Russia is truly the best way of getting to know Russia’s largest and most vibrant city.

Frequently Asked Questions From Our Travelers

What is the best time to visit moscow.

Any time of year is fine depending on what you plan to do. Summertime is pleasantly warm, ideal for exploring the city and its vibrant atmosphere, but Moscow will be much busier and accommodation is more expensive. Winter can be quite cold but beautiful nonetheless, and this is unproblematic if you intend to spend most of your trip in museums and galleries. There are also various festivals and events organised throughout the year. For more information about the best time to visit, read our guide

How many days are enough in Moscow?

If you plan your itinerary strategically and aren’t averse to a packed schedule, you can cover Moscow’s main sights over a long weekend. Most popular attractions are in the city centre, and the Moscow Metro allows you to cover much ground in a small amount of time. Ensure that your accommodation is fairly central and book tickets in advance, so that you can make the most of your days. For an informative and well-organised day out, check out our Moscow day tours with options to suit all interests.

Do they speak English in Moscow?

As Russia’s capital city, tourists are well accommodated in Moscow. There should be English-speaking staff in restaurants, bars, hotels, shops and attractions in tourist hotspots, and there are also English-speaking tourist police. Transport services have English translations on their maps and English announcements via intercom; alternatively, order taxis from the Yandex Taxi app (Russian Uber), though it’s unlikely that your taxi driver will speak English. If you get stuck and cannot communicate, it’s fine to use Google Translate.

Is it safe to travel to Moscow?

It is no less safe to travel to Moscow than to any European city if you exercise common sense and look after your belongings. As with every city some regions can be more unsavoury than others, but no tourist attractions are located there. The traffic in Moscow is notorious, so exercise caution when crossing roads. Do not take unlicensed taxis; book in advance or take public transport, which is widespread and perfectly safe. If you encounter any problems, look for the special tourist police who can help you. Do’s and Dont’s of Naming Your Travel Agency

As travel changes, your agency's name should appeal to travelers and tell them about the special moments they can expect. Finding the right name is a big task. Let's look at some tips on what to do and not to do when naming your travel agency.

Reflect Your Niche : Whether you focus on honeymoon getaways, adventure expeditions, or cultural immersions, ensure your name gives a hint of your specialization.

Keep it Memorable : A catchy name aids in word-of-mouth referrals and ensures your agency remains top-of-mind for potential travelers.

Check for Availability : Before finalizing a name, confirm the domain for a website is available, and also check social media handles to ensure consistent branding. Monitor the online database for trademarks .

Prioritize Simplicity : Choose a name that's straightforward to spell and pronounce, helping to avoid potential misunderstandings.

Ensure Longevity : Trends come and go. Opt for a name that will remain relevant and appealing over time, amid the changing trends in social media promotions .

Be Culturally Sensitive : If you target international travelers, ensure your agency's name doesn't inadvertently offend or have unintended meanings in other languages.

Gather Feedback : Test your chosen name with a diverse audience to gain different perspectives and ensure its universal appeal.

Avoid Overused Terms : Words like "voyage," "journey," and "adventure" are prevalent. To stand out, strive for uniqueness.

Avoid Overly Lengthy Names : A concise name is more memorable and easier to brand.

Don't Limit Your Growth : Be cautious of names that might pigeonhole you into a specific niche, especially if you plan on expanding your offerings in the future.

Steer Clear of Complex Spellings : While it might seem creative, unconventional spellings can lead to confusion and misdirection, especially online.

Refrain from Using Acronyms : They might hold significant meaning for you, but to the general public, they might seem ambiguous or forgettable.

Avoid Imitating Competitors : Mimicking another agency's name not only muddles your brand identity but also risks legal repercussions.

Steer Clear of Negative Associations : Ensure your chosen name doesn't inadvertently carry negative or inappropriate connotations, as this could tarnish your brand.

The Top 10 Must-See Places in Moscow

1. red square.

cool travel & tourism agency

3. The Moscow Metro

cool travel & tourism agency

Perhaps you already know, but there is a great difference between Moscow, St. Petersburg, and all other towns and cities in Russia. Visiting the countryside is a great opportunity to travel the real Russia and to see the common life of ordinary people. The best choice for a one-day Russian countryside experience is the Vladimir and Suzdal tour.

Vladimir and Suzdal are small towns that are famous worldwide because of their great history and picturesque architecture with numerous UNESCO World Heritage Sites of the 12th century. Aside from golden cupolas of stunning churches and monasteries, you will experience a very rural real Russian outlook with bubbling streams and grassy meadows, chickens and livestock, and interesting and authentic local residents. All are a common sight on the streets, some of which remain unpaved. Be ready for a full-day trip and many unforgettable experiences during your Russian holidays!

<span style="font-weight: bold;">From Moscow to St. Petersburg for 5 days<br></span>

•Road-tripping from Moscow to St. Petersburg

•Ecotour along the Volga River with visiting limestone quarries

•Real Russian countryside

•One day in a traditional Russian village

There is a great difference between Moscow, St. Petersburg, and all other Russia... The concept of this tour is to show you the real Russia with numerous small towns, pristine nature, abandoned churches and the life of people.

This tour does not include Golden Ring towns! Instead, you will see Staritsa town and Novgorod the Great, beautiful places to visit in Russia!

We will also visit an elderly couple living in a traditional Russia village. We will help them with their daily work - plowing the land (not by tractors, but by horses), caring for the livestock and cooking food in a traditional Russian oven… And surely we will taste some real fresh milk and eggs while they will be telling us about their common life, their habits, and the households.

The itinerary is perfect for those who are going to St. Petersburg. It takes only 4 hours to get there from Novgorod by a cheap local train.

Let these travel agency name ideas help spark your creativity

We’ve put together some inspiring and catchy name ideas from our Travel Agency Name Generator to help you along your journey.

What makes a good travel agency name?

A good travel agency name should be memorable, unique and reflect the personality and expertise you bring as a travel agent. To find a name that's perfect for you, start by thinking about the vibe you want to create. For example, do you want your agency to be known for its luxurious, high-end travel experiences or its budget-friendly, accessible vacations? It's also a good idea to pick a travel agency name that isn't too specific. Instead of naming your tour company "Saturday Escapes," you could go for "Escape Expert" or “Mr. Getaway Guide” to give you flexibility around your offerings. Keeping the right adjectives in mind can help create the feeling you want travelers to have when they see your travel agency name. Remember, your agency name is a huge part of your brand identity, so make sure it represents your personality, resonates with your target clients and leaves a lasting impression.

Choosing the right keywords to describe your travel agency on websites and in articles can make it easier for potential clients to find you online and help them decide if your services are what they’re looking for.

Get to know your target audience

Take time to understand how potential clients speak about agencies similar to yours. Make sure the name you choose fits their language and that the content you’re putting out speaks to their needs.

Scope out the competition

See what your competitors are doing in order to stand out in the crowd. The name you come up with should be different, bold and unforgettable. Be sure to run a thorough search to make sure the name you want isn’t already taken.

Plan for the future

If you plan on going global, check that the name you choose has positive connotations in different languages. Mapping out marketing campaigns in advance can also help you decide if the name will stay relevant in the future.

Get feedback on your new name

Once you’ve chosen a name that you like, run it past potential clients or people in your industry to see what they think. Take note of their comments and reactions, and keep in mind any biases they may have.

How do I come up with a travel agency name?

To create a travel agency name, consider the agency's specialization, target audience and unique selling points. Incorporate travel-related words, such as "voyage," "explore," or "adventure," and plug them into your Travel Agency Name Generator. Then, experiment with combinations to craft a name that reflects your agency's personality and services.

What are good names for a travel agency?

Good travel agency names often evoke a sense of wanderlust and adventure. Examples include "Wanderlust Voyages," "Global Explorers Travel," or "Dream Destinations Tours." Choose a name that resonates with your agency's vision and the desires of your clientele. A well-chosen name can convey your agency's commitment to memorable journeys.

How can I make my travel agency unique?

To make your travel agency stand out, focus on offering exceptional customer service, personalized travel experiences and exclusive packages to exotic destinations. Craft a brand identity that reflects your agency's commitment to adventure and exploration. Differentiating your agency with exclusive offerings can set you apart in a competitive market.

What are the best words related to travel?

Some of the best words related to travel include "journey," "expedition," "roam," "voyage," "wander," "adventure," "trek," and "excursion." These words evoke the spirit of travel and can be incorporated into your agency's name or marketing materials. Using these words creatively in your name and other marketing language can help potential clients envision their own journeys.

How do I know if my travel agency name is taken?

The fastest way would be to run a Google search. You can also check the availability of the domain you want using the Wix Domain Name Search tool, and look up whether the name is a registered trademark in the USA or internationally by using the USPTO and WIPO databases. Choosing an existing name may result in lawsuits, so we definitely don’t recommend it.

How long should a travel agency name be?

A travel agency’s name can vary in length, but it should be catchy and speak a similar language to your audience. Your clients should know instantly that your business is what they’re looking for, and what kind of services you offer.

Just make sure it’s not too long—you want it to stay in your clients’ minds so they can remember it and share it with their friends.

How do I create a catchy and unique beauty business name?

Think about what your business is about, what services you offer, and what you want people to feel and think when they see your name. Boil it down to two strong keywords that are the most relevant to your company, and insert them into the Travel Agency Name Generator.

Find a name that connects with you the most, and claim a domain for it to solidify your brand online. Check out our free business tools for more ways to build your brand and run your business.

What is the best top-level domain for a travel agency website?

There are several different top-level domains that you can use for your travel agency site, like .com, .net, .org, .co or a country code. Depending on what you’re aiming to achieve and the audience you’re planning to target, your domain will change.

Keep in mind that .com and .net are the most common top-level domains, so make sure that your chosen name is not already taken. With so many companies existing online, it can be hard to find an available domain for your new business. Using a different domain extension (i.e. .shop, .store, .online) can help you find what you’re looking for.

Make a name for yourself online.

Choosing the right name for your travel agency is an important step in starting your business. Your travel agency name should be memorable, easy to pronounce, and relevant to the services you offer.

Here’s some advice for choosing a travel agency name:

  • Consider your target audience. Who are you trying to attract? Once you know your target audience, you can start to brainstorm names that will appeal to them.
  • Focus on your unique selling points, or USP. What makes your agency different from the competition? What are your strengths? Once you know your USP, you can start developing names highlighting these qualities.
  • Keep it simple. Your agency’s name should be easy to remember and pronounce. Avoid using long or complicated names.
  • Make it relevant. Your agency’s name should be relevant to the services you offer. If you specialize in a particular type of travel, such as luxury travel or adventure travel, your name should reflect that.
  • Be creative. Your agency’s name is a chance to show off your creativity. Don’t be afraid to think outside the box and come up with a unique name.

The first thing you should think about is your target audience. Are you targeting luxury travelers? History buffs? Adventurers? These could factor into your agency name.

Once you’ve considered some creative travel agency names, you’ll need to register the name of your travel company. During the process you’ll want to:

  • Check domain availability: Travel agencies need a website, and it should match their travel business name.
  • Perform a web search: You want to check to see if the name is already in use by another travel agent. If it is, consider other catchy travel agency names.
  • Check for trademarks: A travel business name could already be trademarked. Check on USPTO.gov to make sure it’s available.
  • Register the travel agency name: As long as the business name is available, you can register the business and start selling business travel or family vacations.

You still have plenty of work to do to start a travel agent business. You’ll need to create your website, open your socials, negotiate deals with tour operators, market your business, and book clients.

Keep it simple.

When selecting a name for your business, keep it short and sweet. Opt for something that is accessible to all audiences, so you don’t needlessly lose potential customers due to difficulty in pronouncing or spelling the name!

That said, don’t forget to be creative! Having an unforgettable name allows you to make a lasting impression on potential customers, giving you an edge in a competitive industry.

Consider your target audience.

Your chosen name should accurately reflect your target audience, whether that is luxury travelers or budget-conscious backpackers. This will help potential customers identify your company as the perfect fit for their needs.

Make Sure the Domain is Available

Before you settle on a name, make sure the domain is available. This will save time and energy when it comes to setting up your website and other online presences. In addition, you can also secure social media handles with your chosen name before someone else does!

Choose Your Domain!

Once you’ve settled on a name for your travel business, it’s time to choose the perfect domain. This is the web address that customers and potential clients will use to find your website, so an exact match of your selected business name is ideal.

Inspire Adventure: 200 Travel Agency Names

When it comes to choosing a name for a travel agency, creativity, and originality are crucial. A good name should convey the agency’s style, vision, and expertise while being memorable and easy to pronounce. We’ll go over 200 unique names for a travel agency as well as how to generate creative options on your own.

Why a Strong Travel Agency Name Is Important

When it comes to starting a travel agency, choosing a strong name for your business is one of the most important decisions you will make. Your agency name is more than just a word or a string of characters. It is the foundation upon which your brand will be built, the first impression customers will have of your business, and a key factor in determining how successful your agency will be.

A strong travel agency name is important for several reasons. First, it helps your business stand out from the competition. Second, a strong name can also help establish credibility and trust with customers. When people hear a name that is confident, professional, and memorable, they are more likely to view your agency as a reliable and trustworthy source for travel services.

Finally, a strong name can also help you build a strong brand identity. A well-chosen name can be the starting point for a powerful brand narrative that resonates with customers, conveys your agency’s values and vision, and inspires trust and loyalty.

Tips for Choosing the Best Travel Agency Name

Your agency name will be the first impression that potential clients will have of your business. Therefore, it is important to choose a name that is both memorable and meaningful. Here are tips for choosing the best travel agency name.

1. Keep it Simple and Memorable

Choose a name that is easy to remember, short, and catchy. A name that is too complicated to pronounce can be easily forgettable.

2. Analyze the Competition

Conduct research and analyze the names of your competitors in the industry. Make sure your chosen name is distinctive from theirs.

3. Establish Your Unique Selling Proposition

Your travel agency’s name should reflect the unique selling point of your brand. Whether it is low prices, customized services, or luxurious experiences, choose a name that accurately reflects your brand’s core values.

4. Reflect on Your Target Audience

When selecting a name, keep your target audience in mind. Your name should be relevant and appeal to the specific group of customers you are targeting.

5. Avoid Using Cliches

Stay away from cliches and overused travel-related terms. Instead, choose a name that is fresh and stands out from the crowd.

6. Ensure Availability

Before finalizing the name, make sure to check that it is available for domain registration and social media handles so that you secure your brand name across all online platforms.

How to Start a Travel Agency Business

Starting a travel agency can be both exciting and overwhelming. With different types of travel agencies to choose from such as leisure, business, and wholesale, it’s important to find one that you’re passionate about and that your target audience will enjoy. Here are tips for choosing your type of travel agency.

1. Choose Your Niche

By choosing a specific focus for your travel agency, you can help attract the right clientele and stand out from the competition.

One potential niche to consider is adventure travel. This could include activities such as hiking or kayaking and destinations like national parks or tropical rainforests. To cater to these types of travelers, you will need to build relationships with adventure travel suppliers and have a deep knowledge of the destinations and activities you offer.

Another niche could be luxury travel. This could include high-end resorts, private tours, and exclusive experiences. To cater to these types of travelers, you will need to establish relationships with luxury travel suppliers and have a keen understanding of the needs and desires of affluent travelers.

2. Develop a Business Plan

A well-crafted business plan is essential for securing funding for your travel agency. It should include projected revenue, expenses, and cash flow. A strong business plan also demonstrates that you have conducted market research and have a clear understanding of your target audience.

3. Consider Your Funding Options

There are several ways to fund your travel agency, including loans, grants, and investors. Banks and other lending institutions offer small business loans with favorable interest rates. Grant programs provide free money to small businesses, while investors can provide both funding and expertise to help with your agency’s growth.

4. Prepare Your Documents

To secure funding, you will need to provide documentation such as financial statements or a solid business plan. Make sure that you have all the necessary documents ready and presentable to increase your chances of approval.

5. Network and Market Your Travel Agency

To attract funding and build a successful travel agency, you must network and market your business. Attend industry events, join professional associations, and use social media to establish connections and build your reputation as a travel agent.

6. Choose Your Business Structure

When starting a new business, one of the most important decisions you will make is choosing the right business structure. Your business structure will determine how your business is taxed, how much personal liability you have, and how much control you have over your business.

Sole Proprietorship

Sole proprietorship is an incredibly straightforward option, where a single individual owns and operates the business. It’s easy to set up and requires minimal paperwork. However, the owner is personally liable for all debts and legal obligations of the business, which can be a significant risk.

Limited Liability Company (LLC)

LLCs are a popular choice for small business owners as they offer protection from personal liability while retaining the benefits of a partnership. It’s a separate legal entity from its owners and requires the proper paperwork, including articles of organization and operating agreement.

However, LLCs have flexible tax options, as they can choose to be taxed as a partnership or corporation.

Partnership

Partnerships involve two or more individuals sharing ownership and responsibility for the business. It typically requires a partnership agreement to define each partner’s role, liability, and profit-sharing. While it’s an effective way to share risk and resources, the partners are liable for each other’s actions, and personal assets can be at risk. It’s crucial to discuss all potential risks with a legal or tax professional before deciding.

Corporation

A corporation is a separate legal entity from its owners, with shareholders holding ownership and decision-making power. It requires more paperwork and formalities than other structures, but with limited liability and separate taxation, corporations offer significant advantages for larger businesses.

7. Consider Opening a Business Bank Account

As your new travel agency grows, consider opening a business bank account . While it might seem tempting to mingle your personal and business finances, it’s crucial to keep them separate for several reasons.

First, maintaining separate accounts helps you keep track of business expenses and income and provides a clear picture of your cash flow. Second, it simplifies bookkeeping and accounting, essential for monitoring how your business is performing. Finally, having a business account shows lenders and investors that you’re serious about your business and capable of managing your finances responsibly.

Launching Your Travel Agency

Launching a travel agency can be a challenging process, but with careful planning, attention to detail, and dedication to providing exceptional customer service, it can be a highly rewarding and successful business venture for those with a passion for adventure and a desire to help others explore the world.

As you start your journey, you’ll want to have the best resources at hand. This is why you should consider working with doola . Why Is Your Business Name Important?

Your business name is one of the single most important pieces to starting a business.

Because your business name has power.

It reflects your reputation, your mission, values, and represents what people (and customers) are searching for.

It impacts the way in which people remember, refer you, and perceive your business

When choosing your business name, there's a lot to think about in order to get it right - so it's important not to rush this process.

Let's take a look at everything you need to consider before deciding on a business name:

Tips To Consider When Naming Your Travel Company:

Simple is always better

This means a few different things. Your travel company name should always be:

  • Easy to spell
  • Easy to pronounce
  • Easy to remember

Consider avoiding long names as much as possible, as this will only lead your customers forgetting your name and feeling frustrated.

To test this point, try to think of any well-known reputable brand off the top of your head.

The first that come to mind for me are Alexa, Google, Nike, Apple - each unique in their own way (hence, easy to remember) , less than six characters and easy to spell.

Your Business Name Should Define What You Do

The name of your business should reflect a defining characteristic of what you do.

Before your customer goes to your website or speaks to you, the name of your business should spark some initial thoughts in their brain as to what you're all about.

For example, marketingexamples.com describes exactly what their company is about: providing great examples of marketing tactics.

Consider SEO When Naming Your Business

Bottom line: If you don't show up in google, you're going to make it that much more challenging for customers to find you.

There are several different aspects to think about when it comes to SEO & naming your travel company:

  • Try not to pick a business name that's crowded with other businesses
  • Consider naming your business based on highly searched keywords
  • Make sure the name of your business matches search intent and what people are looking for

Think about the emotions you want to evoke

Your business name has the power to evoke certain emotions and thoughts from your customer.

It has the ability to evoke a positive or a negative feeling. An inclusive or an exclusive feeling. A fearful or a loving feeling.

It's not to say that any of these feelings are wrong, but it's important to ensure that they are in line with your values and mission.

For example, the brand Death's Door makes me feel a bit risky and uncertain - but that's the point. They're selling Gin.

Try Not To Pick Something Too Limiting

Your business name should be fitting for the future and growth of your business , that way you don't have to confront a re-brand down the road.

If you choose something too narrow, it may be challenging to diversify your product and revenue streams down the road.

Here are some tips to avoid making this mistake:

  • Try not to name the business after a particular geographical area (this makes it hard to grow in other areas)
  • Try not to name the business after only one product you sell
  • Try not to name something based on a current trend

Brainstorming Names For Your Business

If you're in the brainstorming phase and trying to come up with a business name, there are a few key things to think about in order to get the juices flowing:

  • Write out a list of words that reflect your brand, personality, team etc. These should be the first things that come to your mind and you shouldn't have to think too hard about it.
  • Look at competition in the space and see if there's a common theme. Write down some key words or phrases that resonate with you and add them to the list.
  • Think about the emotion you want to evoke with your business name
  • Ask yourself: If I had to describe my business in one word, what would it be?

From there, you can create a shortlist based on the words that resonate best with you and follow the naming guidelines above.

Tips on naming your business

In addition to the requirements from the State, there are some general naming guidelines that may help you down the road as well.

We've put together a full guide here for naming your business here but will also cover the most critical pieces below:

Is your URL available? Social media handles?

You can check for domain availability here:

powered by Namecheap

As soon as you resonate with a name (or names), secure the domain and social media handles as soon as possible to ensure they don't get taken.

Other general naming tips

  • Consider SEO when naming your business
  • Consider naming your business something that reflects what you do and/or who you are
  • Keep it simple! Easy to spell, easy to pronounce and easy to remember
  • Try not to pick something too limiting that could impact your businesses growth in the future!

Examples of Great Business Names

When choosing a business name, it's critical that you look at other examples of businesses not only in your space, but business names in other industries that have done particularly well.

Here are a few examples of great business names (+ how some of these businesses came up with their name):

Competitor Analysis Example

One great way to name your business is by looking at the competition and getting inspiration.

Gia Paddock, founder of Boutique Rye analyzed other businesses in the space and added her own personal spin to her business name:

A popular national brick & mortar women’s boutique that many may have heard of is called Francesca’s… How original, right? So we came up with Boutique Rye named after our son, Riley. We put "boutique" in front to be a little different.

The name "Boutique Rye" checks the boxes for naming a business:

  • Short and simple
  • Easy to spell and easy to remember
  • Clearly defines what the company does
  • Optimized for SEO (people searching for boutiques)
  • Unique and personal touch - tells a story.

Ask Other People

Sometimes, coming up with a name is as easy as asking other people, whether that be friends, family, people at a coffee shop, or in Spyq Sklar case, his own customer!

How we came up with the name Cat Sushi :

So, we put together a quick business plan and set aside some money that we were willing to risk. One of our loyal customers actually came up with the name. We still give them free cat food.

Read the full story ➡️ here

The name "Cat Sushi" checks all the boxes for naming a business:

  • Memorable and funny
  • Obvious that they sell treats for cats
  • Fun & unique story - their customer literally came up with the name of their business!

The Amazon Example

Formerly called "Cadabra", Jeff Bezos decided that the name was too obscure, hard to spell, and easy to misinterpret.

The name Amazon came from a simple dictionary search .

Jeff Bezos wanted something that started with an A, looked through a dictionary and came up with the word Amazon.

When he told his team, he didn't care for anyone else's input. He was set on it.

Here's how the word "Amazon" checks all the boxes (aside from being worth a trillion dollars):

  • Represents the largest river in the world, making it very memorable
  • The story and meaning of the word matches the vision of the company: To be the larger and better than any other business!
  • The name allows for future growth opportunity - they didn't name something specific to just "books," even though at the time, that's what it was.
  • Easy to spell, pronounce and recommend!

Tips For Choosing A Great Travel Agent Business Name

One of the most important decisions you’ll make when starting your own business is choosing a business name. A great business name will be simple, memorable, and unique. It should also be available on the internet so that potential customers can find it easily. Here are some tips for choosing a great travel agent business name.

Keep it simple: When choosing a business name, aim to keep it as simple as possible. This makes it easier to remember and less likely to be confused with another company’s trademarks or names.

Consider your target audience: When choosing a travel agent business name, think about who you want to attract as your customer base. Your target audience may vary depending on what type of travel you’re selling, but typically you’ll want to focus on people who are interested in traveling in general or those who are specifically looking for information about different types of trips (e.g., honeymooners).

Be unique and memorable: When selecting a travel agent business name, consider using catchy phrases or words that represent your brand well. For example, if you’re specializing in luxury vacations, consider naming your company “Luxury Travel Agents.” Additionally, try to come up with names that are both descriptive and easy to spell/type (i.e., avoid long words).

Check for availability: Before finalizing your chosen travel agent business name, make sure that it’s available online and doesn’t violate any trademark rights (if applicable). Once you have a working title, start conducting some research into similar businesses so that yours stands out from the crowd!

You could even choose a word that has multiple meanings. This way you can create a brand identity that is both creative and original.

Finding inspiration for your travel agency name is easier than you think. Start by brainstorming ideas. Think about what makes your business special, and then narrow down your options based on these attributes.

Tips On How To Choose A Great Travel Agency Name

If you are planning to start a travel agency, then it is important that you choose the right name for your business. This will help you in getting more clients and also increase your chances of success.

It is recommended that you take some time to think about what kind of name you want for your travel agency. You can use the internet or ask friends who have started their own businesses before to get some ideas.

Once you have chosen a name, it is important that you keep it simple. Avoid using long words and complicated phrases. Keep your travel agency name short and sweet.

Think About Your Audience

Before starting your search for a travel agency name, you must first decide who your target audience is. What type of travelers do you want to attract? Do you want to focus on leisure travelers or business travelers?

Do you want to cater to tourists or local residents? Once you have answered these questions, you can begin narrowing down your choices.

Before you start naming your travel agency, ask yourself who you’re targeting. Who is your ideal client? Do they prefer a specific type of travel experience? If so, what kind would they enjoy?

Make Sure Your Name Has SEO Value

When choosing a travel agency name, make sure that it has SEO value. Search engine optimization (SEO) is a process that helps websites appear higher in search results when people look for them online.

The best travel agency names tend to rank high in search engines because they are relevant to keywords related to travel.

Search engine optimization (SEO) is a crucial part of any successful internet marketing campaign. When you choose a name for your travel business, make sure that it has SEO value.

Use Keywords That Reflect Your Niche

Another thing to consider when choosing a travel agency name is how well it reflects your niche. The most popular travel agencies offer services such as flights, hotels, tours, cruises, car rentals, and other travel-related products and services.

If you plan to sell luxury vacations, try using keywords such as “luxury vacation” and “vacation packages.” These terms are likely to bring in customers looking for those types of experiences.

Don’t Include Numbers

Avoid including numbers in your travel agency name. It’s not uncommon for companies to include numbers in their company names. However, this practice is frowned upon by many consumers.

For example, if you were to call your travel agency “1-800-FLY-ME,” it might be hard for potential customers to find you. Instead, try something like “Fly Me Away Tours.”

Consider Using Alliterative Words

Alliterative words are words that sound similar but don’t actually mean the same thing. For instance, the word “cabin” sounds very similar to the word “cabins.”

Using alliterative words in your travel agency name could help draw attention to your brand. Try using words with alliterative endings such as “away,” “tour,” and “cruise.”

Alliterative words are words that sound similar but aren’t spelled alike.

Try Combining Different Types Of Letters

You may think that combining letters will make your travel agency name harder to spell. But, in fact, it can work just the opposite way.

Combining different types of letters can give your travel agency name more character. For example, if you combine the letter “a” with the letter “o,” you get the word “ao.” This combination makes your travel agency name easier to remember.

Combine letters to form alliterative names. For example, “Adventure Travelers” or “Luxury Travelers.”

Remember To Keep It Short

Keep your travel agency name short and sweet. You want to keep things simple and easy to remember.

Include only one word per line. Don’t use spaces between words. Also, avoid punctuation marks such as commas and periods.

Think about what you’d like your clients to say after hearing your travel agency name. Would they say, “Wow! I love that name!”

Choose A Domain Name

A domain name is an address on the web where visitors go to access your website. If you’re planning to start an online travel agency, you’ll need a domain name.

Domain names have become increasingly important over time. They’re used to identify websites, so they play a vital role in helping users navigate the Internet.

When selecting a domain name, make sure that you pick something that accurately represents your business. For example, if your travel agency specializes in adventure travel, then you should choose a domain name that includes the word “adventure.”

Be Aware Of Trademark Issues

Make sure that your travel agency name doesn’t infringe on another company’s trademark. If you’re planning to start an online travel agency, check out our guide to trademarking your own logo.

Also, make sure that your travel agency isn’t already being used by someone else. You should also contact the owner of the trademark before registering your travel agency name.

Trademarks are trademarks that companies own. Companies can protect their trademarks by filing for them. However, it’s possible to infringe upon someone else’s trademark without knowing it.

To avoid problems, always check with your local patent office before registering a domain name.

KUCHING: Regulating short-term rental accommodation and online travel agencies is not within the purview of Sarawak's Tourism, Creative Industry and Performing Arts Ministry, its minister says.

Datuk Seri Abdul Karim Rahman Hamzah said licensing of accommodation providers came under local government, while travel agencies were licensed by the federal Tourism, Arts and Culture Ministry.

"We will look into unlicensed accommodation providers if the matter is really serious.

"We have discussed this, but it's for the local authorities to look into this matter.

"As far as my ministry is concerned, we want to make sure that the number of visitors is going up and that those who come here feel happy with what we are offering," he told reporters here on Monday (April 22).

Abdul Karim was responding to Malaysia Budget and Business Hotel Association (MyBHA) president Sri Ganesh Michiel's call for his ministry to assist budget hotel operators in Sarawak to ensure the sustainability of their business.

In a statement on Sunday (April 21), Ganesh said budget hotels would only raise their room rates if threats to the industry were not addressed by the relevant authorities.

He said these unresolved issues included failure to regulate online travel agencies and short-term rental accommodations without business licences, which affected licensed hotel operators.

Abdul Karim also said his ministry was working hard to bring more tourists to Sarawak, organising over 200 events annually.

He said the increase in visitor arrivals would benefit the budget hotel industry, even at existing room rates.

"Don't take the opportunity to quickly raise rates when there are a lot of visitors. It will not help the industry.

"When there are so many tourists coming in, that means the occupancy rate will also increase," he added.
