The service on Celebrity Cruise ships is exceptional, from embarkation to debarkation and every moment in between. There is a customer-to-staff ratio on board of almost 2 to 1, ensuring guests are always fully catered for.

All-Inclusive Cruising

Are you looking for an all-inclusive cruising experience? Select the ‘All Included’ package to enjoy the benefits of a drinks package, unlimited Wi-Fi and all tips included. Celebrity Cruises believes that your choice matters, giving you the option to tailor your cruising experience to your liking. As Celebrity Cruises are one of few cruise lines to offer a drinks package with no daily limit, the Celebrity Cruises All-Included package is the most popular, convenient and best value-for-money option when booking.

Starting from just £55 per person per day (approx.), the All Included package includes:

• Unlimited drinks from the Classic Drinks Package , including beers, spirits, cocktails, wine by the glass, soft drinks and more.
• Basic Wi-Fi access, which allows for web browsing, app usage and more.

Celebrity Cruises Ship Classes

The Celebrity Cruises fleet is divided into four ship classes that all have something different to offer. All ships are the epitome of modern luxury, providing superior guest service and unmissable onboard activities.

The Edge Class ships are the newest to join the fleet and are the most modern in design with features such as the remarkable Magic Carpet dining experience, which is a suspended, cantilevered platform on the ship's starboard side. The Grand Plaza is a glamorous gathering space that includes several restaurants and bars. The Edge Class ships also feature the newly designed Infinite Veranda Staterooms where, with the touch of a button, your entire living space becomes the veranda, letting you walk right out to the water's edge.

There are four Edge Class ships within the Celebrity Cruises fleet for you to explore.

Millennium Class

If you enjoy a more intimate atmosphere on board, with a couple of hundred fewer passengers, you might feel more at ease onboard one of Celebrity's Millennium Class vessels . There are a total of four cruise ships in this class for you to explore the world with.

Solstice-Class

The Solstice Class is made up of five ships and is a larger design than the Millennium Class thus holding a greater number of passengers on board. Rest assured there'll be no queues or overcrowding, though, thanks to excellent passenger flow. Solstice-Class vessels also include innovative facilities such as the top-of-the-ship Lawn Club, featuring real grass. Xpedition-Class

The Xpedition-Class ships are small in design and only hold up to 100 guests. There are three ships in this class and are designed specifically to explore the Galapagos Islands.

Because the Galapagos Islands have very strict regulations regarding cruise ship operations in the archipelagos, Celebrity Cruises is one of the few cruise lines with permission to offer sailings in the islands. Can a UK resident book through the Celebrity US website?

I'm looking at a cruise on Equinox, 26 June 2022.

An inside cabin is £834 (approx $1,150) but the same cruise and cabin in $629 on the US website. 

Is there anything to stop me booking through the US website? 

Thanks for any advice.

I have booked 2 cruises on the Silhouette next November. US prices were a lot lower and also had a 10% off for captains club members when I booked. 

I checked with Celebrity UK and they said if the website let's you book go ahead.

I don't think it will let you do it because of address details. Unless you have a US address.  Better off to find a US travel agent who will work with you.  You might also receive further incentives from them. Google is your friend as unfortunately discussion of specific travel agents is not allowed here.

That certainly used to be the case, but nowadays most TA’s email invoices and you can print out luggage tags on line, so it should be possible, in theory.

I use a US travel agent all the time, and it has never been an issue (haven't tried on the Celebrity website though).  I stopped cruising with Princess as they blocked you booking outside your country, and I'm grateful that they did as Celebrity is much better and I haven't looked back!

I have just looked at the website on IPad and it's the US site BUT it says at the top of the page "Welcome to Celebrity.com Continue to your country of residence by visiting United Kingdom website. Promotions may vary by country."

It is also worth remembering that Port Fees and Taxes are added to the price you see (so I believe)

As Phil says the address is an issue; but others have reported as nothing gets sent by post does it really matter what address you put? .

I have used a great USA TA for years who is partnered to a green credit card 💳  

Friends from the UK have done this by using a US TA.  Keep in mind the rules are a bit different.  Also research any TA to make sure they don’t charge extra fees.

I have never had any issues booking via the USA, I normally just phone Celebrity direct , it will also cost you nothing if you have Wi-Fi calling on your phone.

Thanks for your help everyone. I'll have a go at booking direct and see what happens. 

Edit: I just did a dummy rum and, as emmas gran said, it adds $276 taxes and fees = total $1534 for 2 people, which equates to approximately £550 each compared to £834 each on the UK site.

I got as far as proceed to payment and it didn't even ask for my address.

I've booked through an American on line travel site a couple of times.  Two things to remember, abta travel protection won't apply and dollar rates go up and down, by the time you pay final the rate may be better or worse 

We have booked many cruises with Celebrity in the US (but when we started we did have a US address of a relative). They offer an NRD fare (non refundable deposit) which requires a $900 deposit but does give a large reduction. It is non refundable but transferable to another cruise for a variable fee. Promotions are often better in the US, particularly on board bookings but, as previously mentioned, the £pound can go down as well as up and we have ended up paying a few hundred dollars more when final payment was due. I also don’t usually recommend booking through an agent because it just complicates things when problems occur (if you book through an agent Celebrity will not speak to you due to contractual arrangements. You can’t even ask questions.) Also, if you have to cancel or defer, any credit certificate issued will be in dollars and not useable against a UK booking. That said, we have 4 booked for next year, two in the US and 2 in the UK so it’s all about the research and what works best for you. 

I have done, but as you lose your protection, at the moment I wouldn't. 

Your UK rights are far stronger than the USA.

You use to be able to get around this by changing the country at the very bottom of first screen.  They kinda hid it but if you look at the picture click the down arrow and it pulls up a list of countries.   It may be easiest just to contact a TA many will work with you.

Thanks we have a good friend that works for an Atlanta based agency should we need to use an American agent.  The thing I quoted was just trying to give advice to a newish cruiser, I am also aware of changing the country on the website 👍

This would be a consideration for me if the figures were close, but there is a big difference in this case that makes it worthwhile. Of course the UK price might catch up with the US one. That happened to me once. Booked it through a US travel agent and then two days later the UK price came down to pretty much the same so I cancelled the US booking and did it in the UK. That was in the days of fully refundable deposits in the US regardless.

2) if you cancel what was a great rate when buying is a terrible rate when refunding.

3) if you have a complaint you will have to fight in the US. Much easier and better protection in the UK - I have years if experience in this sector.

I would pay in full at booking so currency fluctuation wouldn't be an issue.

With regards to difficulty when complaining, I wouldn't imagine it being any more difficult that dealing with the UK side unless it was something really complicated. This will be my 9th cruise and I've never had any cause to complain so that's not really a consideration either.

Obviously, cancellation in the current climate has now got to be taken into account but hopefully a 2022 cruise won't need to be cancelled.

Thanks for that. I've been having to access the US site through a VPN  😀

We always book Celebrity with an American agent crucon, and get better prices than we would in U.K. 

A couple of things from my experiences:

- I use a US TA with an 0800 number, so although I do almost everything by email, I can phone for free if I need to get hold of her in a hurry. 

- I have a USD bank (Transferwise) account, and I convert on the day of the booking the full amount from GBP to USD, to lock in the rate. There is a small cost for this, but to me it's worth it.

Oh yes. I realise this. Did you read my follow up post that goes on to qualify the exchange risk issue?  And I've had years of experience too as a cruiser and have done it all ways. So far I haven't had to complain. Not sure what I'd need to complain about that I couldn't handle myself.

FLY DIRECT TO EUROPE FROM £1 / €1 PER PERSON OFFER

Reduced Flights to Europe applies to new individual bookings made from 13 March 2024 to 15 July 2024 (the “Offer Period”) for selected Celebrity Cruises Europe 2024 sailings departing May 2024 to December 2024. Reduced Flights to Europe provides reduced airfare (including taxes and fees) for guests purchasing selected return flights departing from London Gatwick, Manchester & Dublin Airports for applicable bookings made during the offer period. Reduced airfares on selected flights are priced from £1 per person from the UK (LGW & MAN) or €1 per person from Ireland (DUB). The airfare means the air ticket fare (including taxes and fees) only. Cruise fare, other add-ons & amenities including, but not limited to, gratuities, hotels, car park charges and transfers are not included and will not be reduced as part of the reduced flights to Europe promotion. Applicable cabin grades for this promotion are Economy Class seats, there are a limited number of seats available at this price, once these allocations are sold no additional allocations at this fare will be available. Flight price is per person in GBP or EURO as stated and determined by eligible gateways booked and selected dates of travel. Standard personal baggage allowance is included in the reduced airfare (baggage allowance can vary by airline). Airport ground transfers and any additional expenses (e.g. accommodation, taxis, fuel, meals, gratuities, excess baggage, or parking) are not included, and will be at the guest’s sole cost and expense. Airline booking and travel terms and conditions, and standard baggage allowances apply to all bookings.

Airfare pricing shall be correct at time of publication or going to print and may vary during the promotion. Reduced airfare flights are limited in number and subject to availability. No additional discounted airfares will be available once the applicable reduced airfare seats are sold out. No flight variations will be allowed and once booked, changes to flights will not be permitted. Hotels cannot be booked with this offer. Changes to original flight details (carrier, date, class etc.) will result in a re-fare at prevailing rate charged by the airline. Back to back sailing bookings are not eligible for this reduced airfare promotion.

Bookings that are created within the stated campaign period but that subsequently move to either a lower price program and/or non-applicable ship & sailing date will not retain the benefits of this promotion. Bookings created prior to this promotion that wish to access the new benefits of this offer will have to cancel their existing booking paying any applicable cancellation penalty and make a new booking, Flights added to existing bookings in error are subject to cancellation. Bookings that are cancelled shall be subject to prevailing cancellation charges.

Promotional seats are supported using flight allocations secured in advance with the airlines. Self-servicing of the flight booking may not be available. Guests flying with Jet2 will be able to manage their booking 21 days prior to travel, guests travelling with EasyJet will be able manage their booking 10 days prior to travel, guests flying with Vueling, Aer Lingus and British Airways will not be able to self-service their booking and must check in at the airport at which point their seats will be assigned.

Only eligible individual bookings that have a creation date post the launch date of the offer are eligible to receive reduced airfare subject to the terms of this offer, Groups & Group bookings are not eligible to receive the airfare offer. Cruises must be booked at today’s prevailing cruise fare and any eligible promotional offers only. Celebrity Cruises reserves the right to cancel without notice, suspend and/or modify this promotion, or any part of it, if any fraud, technical failures, a change in applicable law or any other factor beyond reasonable control impairs the integrity or proper functioning of this promotion, as determined by Celebrity Cruises in its sole discretion. Blue Light and Military discounts are not applicable on the flight component of a booking but eligible discount can be applied to the cruise fare. To celebrate the Top Gun star’s 62nd birthday on Wednesday, July 3, Hayek posted a sweet shot of the two of them dressed to the nines at Victoria Beckham’s birthday party earlier this year.

But Hayek and Cruise have known each other for years, first working together on the 2006 film Ask the Dust . The movie — which stars Hayek, 57, alongside fellow Hollywood A-listers Colin Farrell , Donald Sutherland and Idina Menzel — was produced by Cruise and released in between his more well-known roles in War of the Worlds and Mission: Impossible III . 

After their collaboration, Cruise and Hayek clearly stayed in touch, becoming semi-regular dinner partners over the next two decades.

In February 2015, the actors turned heads when they were spotted out to dinner in London alongside Cruise’s ex, Penélope Cruz — specifically because he donned a bright-red lipstick stain on his cheek as he stepped out of the restaurant. (Hayek and Cruz, 50, also go way back, starring together in the 2006 film Bandidas .)

Fast forward to July 2022, and Cruise was again spotted out to dinner with Hayek , this time joined by the Frida actress’s husband, François-Henri Pinault .

In between bites, the stars even made time to take photos with fans — footage of which Hayek posted on her Instagram with the caption, “When you take your friend Tom out to dinner.”

But that wouldn’t be the last time Cruise would hear from Pinault, whose investment company, Artémis, acquired a majority stake in Creative Artists — the talent agency that represents Cruise among other big names — for a reported $7 billion in September 2023, per the Los Angeles Times .

Most recently, Cruise and Hayek rubbed shoulders at Taylor Swift ’s global smash Eras Tour during a London show in June. The two stars were both spotted in the VIP tent among throngs of other celebrities in attendance at Wembley Stadium.

And clearly Hayek wanted to keep the good vibes going, sending warm birthday wishes to her fellow actor on social media.

"Happy birthday dear @tomcruise 🥳🥳🥳," she wrote alongside a photo of the pair posted to her Instagram Stories on Wednesday.
