Katt Williams returns to Brooklyn on his  World War III Tour  on Saturday October 9, 2021 .

Guests have the option to receive the first shot of the Pfizer vaccine at the arena at the Barclays Center Pop-Up Vaccination Site, open every day from noon to 8:00pm, located at 185 Flatbush. The vaccine is free and no insurance is required.

Raleigh, NC – Comedy titan and Emmy® Award-winning actor Katt Williams announces his World War III Tour is coming to PNC Arena on September 17, 2021 , at 8 pm , Williams brings his unparalleled talents to the stage with new material that blends side-splitting comedy with thought-provoking social commentary.

With a career spanning over 20 years, Williams has earned a worldwide reputation as one of today’s top entertainers, having developed a career seeded with thousands of sold-out arenas, an expansive list of starring roles on the small screen, and memorable performances in major box office hits. His latest project, the comedy horror film “The House Next Door: Meet the Blacks 2,” the follow-up to the 2016 indie hit “Meet the Blacks,” premiered June 11 and stars Williams along with Mike Epps, Snoop Dogg, and Danny Trejo. What to Know Before You Go

We are SO excited to welcome fans back to Gainbridge Fieldhouse!  A lot has changed since you last visited us and, in fact, more changes are still coming. From road construction on your journey downtown to brand new features all around the building, your next visit will be a little different but will still offer the world class experience you expect.

Our goal is to get you inside the facility as seamlessly as possible. We ask all guests to arrive early, travel light and have their mobile tickets ready as they enter the Fieldhouse.  Check out this list  of 5 important things to know before your visit.

Health & Safety Guidelines

Gainbridge Fieldhouse follows Marion County Health Department (MCHD) and Centers for Disease Control & Prevention (CDC) requirements and guidelines from the promoter for each event. Proof of vaccination or testing is not required for general ticket holders at this event. The MCHD and the CDC recommend individuals wear masks indoors, regardless of vaccination status.  

Bag Policy & Prohibited Items

Bag Policy: No bags larger than  6”x9”x1.5”

We ask all guests to arrive early and travel light.

For your safety guests are subject to visual inspection (including the use of metal detecting magnetometers) of person, parcels, bags, containers and/or clothing capable of concealing prohibited items. Guests may refuse inspections; however, management reserves the right to refuse entry.

For safety reasons, prohibited items include but are not limited to:

• Alcohol, drugs, illegal substances, or any paraphernalia associated with drug use
• Audio/Video recorders, professional cameras, tripods
• Bags larger than 6”x9”x1.5”
• Beach balls or any projectiles or missiles
• Cans, bottles, coolers, or other similar containers
• Clothing that displays obscene/offensive language and/or pictures (as determined by Gainbridge Fieldhouse management)
• Hard-sided bags
• Laser pens/pointers of any type
• Military or Tactical style clothing/gear (Active Duty Military uniforms are allowed)
• Noisemakers such as air horns
• Objects that obstruct another guest’s view of the playing/performance surface
• Outside food or drinks
• Pepper spray/Mace
• Poles or sticks
• Signs, flags, banners larger 11″X17″ or affixed to any pole
• Skateboards/roller blades
• Tripods, mono pods, or selfie sticks
• Weapons of any type, including chains, knives, firearms, and spiked jewelry
• Any other item deemed unacceptable by event/building management

If an item is revealed during a search, guests may dispose of the item or return the item to a safe storage location away from the Fieldhouse.

The ASM Global-managed venues will be operating in consultation with ASM Global’s industry-leading VenueShield program, trusted protection for the live experience. This VenueShield program ensures that ASM facilities are clean and certified at the highest standards for the safety and health of guests, employees and clients. Our doors will be open in compliance with VenueShield protocols and State and City guidelines in addition to customizing those protocols based on the needs of each event organizer to create a safe and fun environment for all guests.

Will there be required social distancing inside the ASM-Jacksonville Venues? Lines for entry, concessions and merchandise will be set up to comfortably accommodate social distancing where possible.

Will there be socially distanced or pod seating at upcoming events? Seating for this event will be in compliance will State and City laws and guidelines and established by the event organizer. Will masks or face coverings be required? Subject to compliance with state and local laws or mandates, and based on the needs of the event organizer, masks or face coverings will be encouraged inside the venue and should be worn when social distancing is not possible. The mask policy is subject to change based on state and local laws and guidelines and the protocols established by the event organizer.

What cleaning protocols will the ASM-Jacksonville managed venues have in place to prepare for upcoming events? ASM-Jacksonville will follow ASM Global’s VenueShield protocols and have each venue thoroughly disinfected before each event. During events, the venues will be continuously cleaned and disinfected, particularly in high touchpoint areas including, but not limited to handrails, elevator buttons, concession and merchandise countertops and door handles.

What precautions are in place for food and concession safety? There are plexiglass shields at each point of purchase. Mobile ordering for concessions is available at VyStar Veterans Memorial Arena and TIAA Bank Field and all concession transactions will be cashless to help reduce touchpoints and lines.

What other health and hygiene precautions will the ASM-Jacksonville venues be taking? VenueShield signage is installed throughout to remind guests of health, safety, hygiene, and social distancing practices and additional hand sanitizing stations have been installed throughout the venues for guests to use during the event

Katt Williams cuts comedy show short by fight: Couple explains date night turned brawl

A date night for a couple turned into a bloody brawl that cut short comedian Katt Williams ’ sold-out show at Indiana Farmers Coliseum over the weekend.

The Dark Matter Tour show was stopped Saturday night after the fight broke out in the upper level of the venue.

James Herron told IndyStar he and his wife, Tierra, were on their way out of the venue to avoid the very confrontation with a couple of men that ended the show.

Herron, 35, said he looked back to see one of the men taking a swing at his wife.

“By the time I got down there, everything was going left. I tried to get her out of there,” he said. “He came around, and once a punch was thrown that was that.”

Williams could be heard  in one video posted to social media calling it quits after the melee. “Thank y’all for coming. God bless you. Have a good night,”  he said.

The crowd was audibly upset. And many posted their disappointment online.

It all started with a group of men being raucous and making a section uncomfortable, Herron said.

What happened at the Katt Williams show in Indianapolis?

Earlier in the night, well before Williams took the stage, a man sitting in the row in front of Herron was consistently invading his personal space, he said. Because the seats were so close, the back of the man’s head in the row in front of Herron would be close to Herron’s lap whenever he leaned back.

“I tapped him and I’m like, ‘Hey man I’m not trying to stop your good time; but can you please stop putting your head in my lap?’” Herron said.

Herron said the man responded with a dismissive gesture; and he walked to concessions to keep calm.

The guy’s friend though encouraged the man to fight Herron, he said. “He said, ‘You should really knock him out,” Herron said. “I couldn't pay attention to Katt Williams’ performance because of everything; it kept going on. I wasn’t sitting there arguing with him The guy was trying to irritate me.”

But Tierra Herron, also 35, urged her husband to keep cool, and they decided to leave the show, he said. They figured they could watch the last part of Williams’ set from the televisions places along the way out of the venue.

“My wife was like, ‘Baby, we’ve got kids. Let’s go,” Herron said.

On the way out though, he said, he looked back and saw one of the men, the one who had encouraged his friend to strike Herron, attempt to hit his wife. Herron doubled back and the fight was full on.  Tierra Herron got in between her husband and the man, fearing they were too close to the balcony railing and calling for them to stop fighting.  The man, who by then had a bloodied nose, intentionally wiped the blood on her face, she said.

How did the fight at the Katt Williams show start?

The couple first interacted with the men when guest Mo’Nique was doing her set, Herron said. 

He said a group exiting the Herrons’ row when the couple arrived had warned them about the men in the row ahead, and a couple next to the men had complained to security about being bumped and made uncomfortable by the men’s behavior. Security told the men — there were four of them — to stop bothering other attendees. The men countered that they were not being rude and they were the ones being insulted, he said; then security left the area.

“I don’t know why security didn’t dismiss them the first time,” Tierra Herron said. She said she broke the heel of her shoe and bruised her thigh in the incident.

The Plainfield couple — he works in construction and she is a bus driver — were looking to keep their evening out as long they could that night.

“We tried to stay as long as possible because we were on a date night,” she said “We have three kids. We have jobs,, as well. And that was the first time my husband planned a date for me without me helping.”

Such violence,  Heron said, is not in his nature.

“I will ignore people being completely out of control until you get in my face,” he said.

Man explains on social media what happened

After seeing an outcry on social media from fellow show goers unhappy with the show being cut short due to a fight, Herron took to his platforms to explain in now deleted posts.

“We‘re here for a show and people pay their money for this, so I thought I should at least apologize; and at the same time give an account and tell people what was going on,” he told IndyStar. “It was eating at me. I told my wife I had to say something.”

TMZ reported that reps for Williams said the show was cut only five minutes early.

Herron said they gave statement to police at the scene.  Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department and Indiana State Police on Monday told IndyStar they had no record of the incident.

Not everyone was laughing at Katt Williams ’ recent “The Dark Matter Tour” stop. As the comic neared the end of his set at the Indiana Farmers Coliseum in Indianapolis on April 7, a brawl broke out, leaving fans scurrying about the place.

The chaotic scene was captured by social media users. In the footage, CSC security is seen scrambling to the upper-level seating with flashlights. According to TMZ , Williams ended his show five minutes early due to the inconvenience. He’s heard saying over the mic, “Thank y’all for coming. God bless you. Have a good night” as the chaos ensued.  

Several people are observed exiting the section as a couple of attendees appear to be pulled apart. By the time the lights in the venue went up, a white man was seen standing with his hands in his pocket and a bloodied face.

A video shared on TikTok of the melee was captioned, “When you go to a Katt Williams show in Indy and everyone gets escorted bc of a fight.” Reactions to the post were critical of the city, which implemented a $150 million violence reduction strategy in 2021.

“This ish right here is why we can’t get anyone good to come and perform in our state! Except for sporting events crickets! If you’re not willing to leave the state you’re out of luck,” wrote one person.

“We need to learn how to act! Stupid s—t,” said a second upset commenter . A third individual remarked, “Omg! The ghetto. I was pressured into going and it was a hot mess. Never again! I will reserve comment on my other observations and sentiments.”

Another person who claimed to have been at the show said that two men were overheard arguing throughout the show.

The Black man involved in the scuffle addressed the chatter regarding the fight in a video posted online.

The man, identified as James Herron by the Indianapolis Star , detailed the encounter involving himself, his wife Tierra, and another member of the audience. Herron explained that he was at the show with his wife, and one white man, in particular, had been a nuisance throughout the evening.

“Moral of the story is yes, we had a couple of white guys in front of us that was belligerent on bulls—t.”

He continued, “It was a white couple next to them that was uncomfortable and ended up getting security on ‘em. Security just told them stop doing what they were doing, which they didn’t stop, making everybody in our section uncomfortable. The guy kept swinging his head back in my lap. I told him, ‘Aye bro, can you please stop doing that. You making me uncomfortable.’ He did it three more times to the point I tell my wife, ‘Hey, I can’t handle this.’”

Herron tells The Indianapolis Star that the belligerent man’s friend encouraged his pal to react violently, telling the audience member, “You should really knock him out.”

Herron tells Indy Star, “I couldn’t pay attention to Katt Williams’ performance because of everything; it kept going on. I wasn’t sitting there arguing with him. The guy was trying to irritate me.”

Herron says that upon reaching his breaking point, he grabbed his coat, and he and his wife began to leave. After climbing a few stairs, he looked back and realized his wife was still near their seats and in the midst of a verbal exchange with the problematic attendee. That’s when he decided to return to their seats to see what was going on.

“So, I’m going back down, the motherf—er swing on my wife? He got me f—ked up! That’s ANY man. You gon’ feel the same way I feel,” he said, owning up to putting his hands on the man. However, the remarks then pivoted to taking issue with the Black commentary for reposting the fight.

“I’m so hurt by Black people because I’m seeing these Black videos … y’all quick to talk, and a motherf—ker that’s quick to talk cannot listen well. Figure it out. Let’s come together, crabs-in-bucket-ass-n—gas. Pull each other up and stop tearing each other down. I’m always gonna do my homework before I talk. … And that’s that. He got his ass whupped,” Herron added.

One reaction to his side of the story read, “Not sure why your wife wasn’t IN FRONT of him, but context is everything. Lil bro gets a pass. ANYTHING LESS, is absolutely uncivilized. At that point, damn everybody…including Katt!! I blame security! They failed this couple so it is what it is.”

At this time, there are no reports of either of the men facing charges.

Title : Active carbons as nanoporous materials for solving of environmental problems

However, up to now, the main carriers of catalytic additives have been mineral sorbents: silica gels, alumogels. This is obviously due to the fact that they consist of pure homogeneous components SiO2 and Al2O3, respectively. It is generally known that impurities, especially the ash elements, are catalytic poisons that reduce the effectiveness of the catalyst. Therefore, carbon sorbents with 5-15% by weight of ash elements in their composition are not used in the above mentioned technologies. However, in such an important field as a gas-mask technique, carbon sorbents (active carbons) are carriers of catalytic additives, providing effective protection of a person against any types of potent poisonous substances (PPS). In ESPE “JSC "Neorganika" there has been developed the technology of unique ashless spherical carbon carrier-catalysts by the method of liquid forming of furfural copolymers with subsequent gas-vapor activation, brand PAC. Active carbons PAC have 100% qualitative characteristics of the three main properties of carbon sorbents: strength - 100%, the proportion of sorbing pores in the pore space – 100%, purity - 100% (ash content is close to zero). A particularly outstanding feature of active PAC carbons is their uniquely high mechanical compressive strength of 740 ± 40 MPa, which is 3-7 times larger than that of  such materials as granite, quartzite, electric coal, and is comparable to the value for cast iron - 400-1000 MPa. This allows the PAC to operate under severe conditions in moving and fluidized beds.  Obviously, it is time to actively develop catalysts based on PAC sorbents for oil refining, petrochemicals, gas processing and various technologies of organic synthesis.

Victor M. Mukhin was born in 1946 in the town of Orsk, Russia. In 1970 he graduated the Technological Institute in Leningrad. Victor M. Mukhin was directed to work to the scientific-industrial organization "Neorganika" (Elektrostal, Moscow region) where he is working during 47 years, at present as the head of the laboratory of carbon sorbents.     Victor M. Mukhin defended a Ph. D. thesis and a doctoral thesis at the Mendeleev University of Chemical Technology of Russia (in 1979 and 1997 accordingly). Scientific interests: production, investigation and application of active carbons, technological and ecological carbon-adsorptive processes, environmental protection, production of ecologically clean food.
