The most rubbish company ever lies after lies after lies, almost a year and still not received my full refund absolutely disgusting. Ask to speak to boss and the staff acting like a boss, making the voice sound like a woman voice, who is the boss. Absolutely disgusting behaviour from a professional company like this I would never recommend my worst enemy. The rudest staff ever.

I did a quick booking without much…

I did a quick booking without much research and later the payment page failed on me after making payment. I was worried after reading these reviews and quickly started following up. I was pleasabtly surprised at how efficiently and quickly the issue was addressed. I got connected to call centre within 3 rings, did not hav to go through lenghty IVR, mail response was prompt. It was not even an issue. The confirmation normally takes 40 mins to 1 hr and I directly received a confirmation from airliner within 1 hr. So am trying to leave a positive feedback, to releave some users of unnecessary anxiety, am normally into leaving feedbacks.

I have booked air ticket through via.com. However, due to the COVID-19 pandemic, I have to cancel the booking. Via.com refunded the air ticket fee to me (excluding the transaction and cancellation fee, which is understandable). I am feeling really grateful because I understand that the outlook for the aviation and travelling market has not been good, yet via.com has been very helpful in processing the refund for affected customers like me. I will definitely support via.com in the future. I hope that via.com and the rest of the travel industry will get through this hardship and continue to stay strong.

Risky but got my tickets

Giving 5 stars just because all the other ratings are bad. Firstly, by getting a good deal through a travel agent, one takes the risk of exorbitant fees for changes or any discrepancies. Therefore, always double-check your entries first before you book. I took the risk and booked my flight from SIN-IST, the process was not smooth as the e-ticket took nearly 2 hours to process. After getting the e-ticket it is paramount to check with the airlines that your ticket is confirmed. I waited anxiously for the airlines (Oman Air) to confirm my ticket. To my surprise I wasn't scammed, the flight was confirmed and they had my details. Only after that, I was able to rest easy, other than that I hope everything goes well.

Bad bus routes

The bus service in san Antonio is terrible, why is there no bus routes that go to the areas where the jobs are like warehouse and manufacturing ? Its pretty stupid

Do not give them your bank details

Do not give them your bank details! After purchasing my tickets I was notified about several unauthorized attempts to pay with my card. I haven't used that card in months and the fraudulent attempts started within an hour after purchasing my tickets. Besides, they booked my ticket with the wrong information I never filled in when booking, so the ticket is useless to me. Plus they add an extra charge on top of the price of the ticket just before you hit Pay, you may not even notice it so you overpay and just get tons of problems instead of a holiday.

Via.com bottom fishes for one time clients they get from skyscanner.

Via.com gets their business as a pass-through from skyscanner as they come up often as cheapest. But after the booking process is finished they are more expensive than the big reliable ones (Expedia, Trip.com etc etc). Completely worthless site that bottom fishes for one time clients. Don't think anyone will ever use them twice. Customer service does not exist. Buyer beware.....looks cheap but is not; just stay with the "Biggies".

I hope yall go bankrupt 🖕🏻

Literally the WORST customer service ever. I really hope yall go out of business bc yall r so useless when it comes to helping customers. First of all, none of them know how to reply promptly, constantly having to chase them for replies. Second of all, lied to us saying that you’ve requested the refund from the airline, but only sent it out when we CHASED them to give us the reference number so that we can go directly to the airlines. Fk via.com i hope yall go bankrupt bc you guys don’t deserve anyones money.

Still waiting for my refund

There are cancellation fee and gateway charges for flight which we didn't plan to cancel. Have been waiting for the remaining refund since March 2020. And now just gotten another reply indicating it will take another 10 to 12 weeks to receive the refund. Each response takes weeks and even a month each time. Would have gotten a full refund if it was a direct purchase. Highly not recommended.

Booked a tour to Gibraltar from Malaga

Booked a tour to Gibraltar from Malaga. It was stated that the start would be 10.00. The evening before I get a text, saying that we'll meet at 7.15am the next morning. 3 hours before. Viacom wouldn't give me a refund, stating that it's less than 24 hours before. That's called a Bait and Switch and is illegal. I also immediately cancelled two other tours I had booked with them. Never again.

VIA, never use this portal unless you want to give yourself more problem.

Sending email to them on my refund for flight cancellation due to coronavirus until now never receive any reply. Customer service for VIA is just non-existant. Worse service I ever came across. I wonder why airline would allow VIA to book ticket with them? It only affect the airline reputation. Anyway, I'll be sending feedback to the airlines to warn them on this VIA portal and suggest them to stop any booking from this company/website.

After booking I was asked to pay a higher amount.

After making the booking I did not receive any tickets. This would be arranged within 15 minutes. After waiting 45 minutes, I sent an email. I then received an email back that some information regarding the booking was missing. A bit strange, since I had already filled in all our details. Everything sent via email again. No response again. After I sent another email asking if everything was OK, I received an email back saying that the tickets had become more expensive. I would have to pay a significant amount extra. If approved, they would email me a payment link. I said that I am a lawyer and according to the rules I can now ask for my money back. A few moments later I received an email that they were able to obtain the tickets for the same amount as when booking. Then I received my tickets by email. This allowed me to check in later and sit at the very back. Stupid of me not to read the reviews first. Normally I always do this. Really trust me, do your bookings elsewhere. I find them unreliable.

My review of Via.com - Good deals on flight tickets & excellent customer support

I was flying to San Francisco on a business trip and had booked my tickets on Via.com. My connecting flight from Delhi to Hong Kong (Air India) got delayed by around 6 hrs due to a faulty landing gear. The onward flight from Hong Kong to San Francisco (Cathay Pacific) had already left by the time I landed in Hong Kong and I was clueless what to do next. I checked with Cathay Pacific help desk and was told that they wouldn't be able to help me as the delay was not due to a Cathay Pacific flight. I was at my wits end and checked for seats on the next flight to San Francisco. To my shock, every single flight from Hong Kong to SF is fully booked for next 2 days due to Comic Con. I called up the Via.com help desk and told them of my dilemma. I was not expecting any help really, my thought was at least they will be able to book me a flight back to Delhi. To my surprise, the call center supervisor, Mr. Hari, got me a seat on the next Delta Airlines to SF by paying just 25% of the full fare. I have booked flights from several sites over the years and the experiences have ranged from good to outright horrible. But this is was the first time I was totally blown away by the amazing customer support by a travel portal. I saw several Via.com reviews and found it hard to believe that so many people had a bad experiences with the site. My guess is that we tend to vent out only when things go bad and rarely appreciate a great customer experience. This review about Via.com is my attempt at trying to reverse the trend and giving credit where it's due.

Do not ever ever book tickets with Via.com. I booked tickets with them once and it was the most stresful and unpleasant experience. The payment went thru but they didnt issue us our flight tickets. I then tried to call their offices but all number were not in use. We even tried calling the SG, Indo and India office but no support or help was provided. I would highly recommended not using VIA.com as their team is unresponsive and very unreliable

Really bad customer service

Really bad customer service. I emailed them to ask about changing my flight, then I received a call from a customer representative named Mr Srivastha., that I could barely understand, who said he would send me an email with the information regarding changing my flight. When I got the email, it said that he went ahead and cancelled my booking and that I now had to pay a fee!! Completely unprofessional and would not book again.

We liked that she could pick up on our interests and take us places we might not have thought of to go. Riding the Metro with Lena was a real adventure and a lot of fun. In Saint Petersburg we found Anna well versed in the history of the Tsars and in the Hermitage collection. Arkady in Veliky Novgorod was a very good guide and answered all of our questions with ease. Novgorod was perhaps a long way to go for a day trip, but we did enjoy it. Vasily was a great driver to have and kept us safe with good humour and skill. We enjoyed ourselves so much, my daughter says she is already planning to return. We would both have no hesistation to recommend ExpresstoRussia to anyone we know.

Just wanted to let you know that My grandson Bruno and I couldn´t have been more pleased with our week in Moscow (6/15 - 6/21). We were absolutely enchanted with the whole experience, including getting lost a couple of times in the Metro during our free time. Although both our guides (both Eleanas) were excellent, I would particularly commend the first one (she took us to the Tatiakov, the KGB tour, and to that beautiful cemetery where so many great Russian artists, authors, composers, musicians, militarists, and politicians are buried). Her knowledge is encyclopedic; and her understanding of today´s Russia as a product of its past was, for us, truly enlightening. I will be taking another tour in Russia, with my wife, within the next two or three years. I will be in touch with you when the time comes. Meanwhile, I will refer you to other potential visitors to Russia as I meet them.

Do they speak English in Moscow?

As Russia’s capital city, tourists are well accommodated in Moscow. There should be English-speaking staff in restaurants, bars, hotels, shops and attractions in tourist hotspots, and there are also English-speaking tourist police. Transport services have English translations on their maps and English announcements via intercom; alternatively, order taxis from the Yandex Taxi app (Russian Uber), though it’s unlikely that your taxi driver will speak English. If you get stuck and cannot communicate, it’s fine to use Google Translate.

Is it safe to travel to Moscow?

It is no less safe to travel to Moscow than to any European city if you exercise common sense and look after your belongings. As with every city some regions can be more unsavoury than others, but no tourist attractions are located there. The traffic in Moscow is notorious, so exercise caution when crossing roads. Do not take unlicensed taxis; book in advance or take public transport, which is widespread and perfectly safe. If you encounter any problems, look for the special tourist police who can help you. Delta plane's emergency slide falls off during flight

An emergency slide fell off a Delta passenger jet shortly after takeoff Friday, forcing the pilots to return to John F. Kennedy International Airport, officials said.

The pilots of Delta Air Lines Flight 520 from New York to Los Angeles reported vibrations and a banging not long after takeoff, the Federal Aviation Administration said. The plane turned around and landed back at JFK at 8:35 a.m., after spending roughly 33 minutes in the air, according to the FAA.

Upon inspection, crews determined that an emergency slide from one of the Boeing 767's exits had separated from the aircraft, Delta said in a statement.

Crews were working to determine where the slide landed, according to the airline.

"Delta is fully supporting retrieval efforts and will fully cooperate in investigations,” it said in a statement.

The 33-year-old plane was taken out of service and the passengers were placed on another flight to Los Angeles, according to the FAA.

The agency said it is investigating the incident.
