Travis Japan to hold nationwide tour early next year

Travis Japan will hold their nationwide tour ' Travis Japan Debut Concert 2023 THE SHOW ~Tadaima, Okaeri~ ' from January to March of next year. 

The upcoming tour is scheduled to kick off on January 28 at Nippon Gaishi Hall (Aichi) and wrap up on March 12 at Pia Arena MM (Kanagawa) for a total of 23 shows. You can check out the full schedule below!

Travis Japan have released their highly-anticipated debut album, Road To A , out now via Capitol Records. To celebrate the project, the band has also shared a music video for album standout “Okie Dokie!”. Check that out below.

Roughly one year after signing with Capitol Records, Travis Japan brings their debut album to the world. The project symbolizes Travis Japan’s pursuit of the essence of entertainment and fully encapsulates everything about Travis Japan as the group prove to the world that they are authentic to who they are. The “A” within the album title is an abbreviation for authenticity.

The album also includes celebrated previously released singles like “Candy Kiss.” The accompanying visual was choreographed by Nicky Anderson, who has done choreography for K-POP sensation BTS and Travis Japan’s debut song, “JUST DANCE!” Directed by YUANN, the founder of the Japanese creative group kidzfromnowhere, the music video features a grand space setting using CGI and special effects makeup to help portray the plot line.

In the music video, Travis Japan gets captured by aliens. They showcase their captivating choreography, inspired by blowing kisses, and they enchant the universe with their dance. The music video showcases colorful costumes, departing from the chic image of their previous release.

The album follows the group’s first release for Capitol Records, the Moving Pieces EP . The project features four tracks: “Charging!,” “Still On A Journey,” “Keep On Smiling,” and “Moving Pieces.” The latter served as the pre-release single and is written and produced by Poo Bear, who has worked with artists such as Justin Bieber and Billie Eilish.

“Moving Pieces” came to be after Travis Japan visited Miami where Poo Bear is based and spent a day recording the song under his guidance, including one-on-one vocal practice sessions and even cultural exchanges where Travis Japan taught Poo Bear some Japanese.

From their sultry charisma in ‘ Moving Pieces ’ and their chill aura in ‘ Candy Kiss ,’ our favorite boys prove any genre and concept are their own with the release of ‘Level Up,’ the pre-release single of their debut album, Road To A . And yes, Travis Japan has no cheat codes but pure talent and great personalities!

There is no denying that Travis Japan has established a great game in the music scene. However, this time, they returned with a new weapon – a modern pop-funk song, boosted up with gaming elements: ‘ Level Up .’ Our boys aimed to indulge us in who and what they are, serving us with the fascinating and vibrant Japanese arcade imagery and authenticity through their music. We can all agree that Travis Japan did not come to play but to win – win our hearts!

Lvl 1 – Jingle Bells, Road To A All The Way!

Christmas’ true meaning is sharing and giving, and Travis Japan makes sure we feel all the love by releasing Road To A , their debut album, on the 20th of December. Composed of 17 base tracks, each version of the album has a lot of strengths to offer, making our Christmas 2023 more Christmassy!

Lvl 2 – The Dream

A dream will never be achieved when it only stays as a dream. Travis Japan, being the risk-takers and determined dreamers they are, took action in 2022 to make their hard work come to fruition and turn their dreams into reality by leveling up on America’s Got Talent !

With ‘My Dreamy Hollywood,’ Travis Japan’s authentic charm and performance talent impressed not only the judges but the audiences, too. Who wouldn’t love idols like them?

Lvl 3 – The Comeback

America’s Got Talent is having its spin-off, America’s Got Talent Fantasy League, premiering on the 1st of January 2024. And Travis Japan’s AGT chapter is not yet done! Yes, you read it right, honeybees! Our boys are still up for the challenge and are ready to charm the world again. Make sure to tune in and support them!

Lvl 4 – ’99 PERCENT’ Up!

Let us be honest. ’99 PERCENT’ is such a bop that highlights Travis Japan’s power that has been a level up! The song and their performance are both oozing with coolness, and nothing is limiting Travis Japan from bringing us perfection and the Road To A !

They go straightforward and all in into making us rave for more and the official release of the song! But for now, let us enjoy the short dance video of ’99 PERCENT!’

Lvl 5 – Silent Dance

Since their Junior days, Travis Japan has always been known for their jaw-dropping performances. However, their fun personality and goofiness in dancing can also be switched on when the music is turned off! The band’s debut album will be released on December 20th

Japanese boy group, Travis Japan, releases their newest single, “Level Up” via Capitol Records. Serving as the pre-release single to their debut album, Road To A , coming out on December 20th, “Level Up” gives listeners a sneak peek of what’s to come from the international boy group.

Produced by Sam Bergeson, the song pays homage to Travis Japan’s heritage as it features game sound effects from the iconic world of Japanese arcade games. In addition, the track takes a turn from Travis Japan’s usual pop sound and delivers a modern funk-pop track to their listeners as they push the boundaries surrounding their artistry. The track will be paired with a music video where each member plays the role of a video game character. For example, Umi will be a biker, Noel, Shime, and Shizu are dancers, Genta, Machu, and Chaka are fighters which aligns with their visuals within the music video. The music video will be released on December 2nd.

The “A” within the album title serves as an abbreviation, with the “A” standing for authenticity. With this, the album symbolizes Travis Japan’s pursuit of the essence of entertainment. It fully encapsulates everything about Travis Japan as they prove to the world that they are authentic to who they are. Featuring previously released tracks, “Candy Kiss”, “Moving Pieces” and “Just Dance!”, Road To A is filled with pop anthems that’ll thrill audiences worldwide.

As Travis Japan continues to grow as a group, their domestic and international success also grows. On December 6th, Travis Japan will be opening for Marshmello as he heads to Japan for his Japan Tour this winter at the Tokyo Garden Theater. Wrapping up the 2023 year, Travis Japan announces their nationwide arena tour in Japan, Travis Japan Concert Tour 2024 Road to Authenticity, for the top of the 2024 year. With the immense success happening in addition to the exciting year to come, Travis Japan cements itself as an international group with no intention of slowing down.

Travis (formed in 1990) is a Scottish indie-rock and post-Britpop band, credited for influencing the likes of Coldplay and Keane, hailing from Glasgow, Scotland.

Originally formed by brothers Chris and Geoff Martyn along with friend and drummer Simon Jarvis in 1990, guitairst Andy Dunlop appeared shortly afterwards as did female vocalist Catherine Maxwell. Maxwell was ultimately replaced by untrained vocalist/art student Francis Healy and Neil Primrose took over the drumming reigns from Jarvis. With a completed lineup Fran Healy dropped out of art school to focus on songwriting, and Travis made their debut recording with the 1993 EP “The Glass Onion”, which was limited to 500 copies. A subsequent EP “All I Wanna Do Is Rock” was released following a move to London, capturing a heartfelt lyricism and distinctive tone of British rock. The group then signed to Sony Music Publishing who ultimately insisted on the removal of the keyboard player Geoff Martyn and his bassist brother Geoff, who was replaced by Healy’s friend Dougie Payne. Following nine months of hard graft, Travis issued their debut album “Good Feeling” in 1997, marked by its edgier, rockier, and more relevant sound. Featuring the singles “All I Want to Do Is Rock”, “U16 Girls”, “Tied to the 90s”, and “Happy”, the critically-acclaimed release peaked at No. 9 on the UK Albums Chart.

Travis’ sophomore album “The Man Who”, was produced by Nigel Godrich, and was marked by a slower, more melancholy tone than its predecessor. Debuting at No. 7, the album steadily slipped down the chart until the release of the seductive radio single “Why Does It Always Rain on Me?”, which markedly increased the band’s exposure. Following an apt performance of the song at the 1999 Glastonbury where the rain started to pour after the first line was sung, Traivs won the

2000 BRIT Award for Best Album and a pair of Ivor Norvello Awards. The band’s third album “The Invisible Band” was issued in 2001, named after the belief that Travis’ music was of greater importance than the band itself. Led by the summer hit single “Sing”, the album was once again produced by Nigel Godrich, and did wonders for the band’s popularity in the U.S.

Following drummer Neil Primrose diving head-first into the shallow end of a swimming pool and breaking his neck, the longevity of Travis was thrown into question. Primrose however made a full recovery and over a two-week period the band recorded the majority of their fourth album “12 Memories”. Released in October 2003, the record adopts much darker themes and lyrical content than previous albums and peaked at No. 3 on the UK Albums Chart. Reaching No. 41 on the Billboard 200, the album spawned the singles “Re-Offender”, “The Beautiful Occupation”, and “Love Will Come Through”. The compilation album “Singles” followed in November 2004 after which the group headlined the 2005 Isle of Wight Festival and Scotland’s T in the Park.

Travis’ fifth studio album “The Boy with No Name” arrived in 2007 earning disappointing reviews from the musical press. The full-length “Ode to J. Smith” followed in 2008 released on their own label Red Telephone Box, and led by the single “Something Anything”. The record earned a string of positive responses, and was succeeded by “Where You Stand” in 2013.

Live reviews

In November 2013 Travis brought their array of melancholic tunes to The Picture House in Edinburgh. The band’s continuing popularity was apparent, as the large venue was packed with middle-aged fans. Though Travis’s post-Britpop alternative rock has failed to bring in younger audiences over the years. This is perhaps understandable considering that the band remains lodged somewhere between Oasis and Coldplay.

Still, Travis pleased their crowd. Their acoustic tracks built satisfyingly into sing-a-long choruses and the audience swayed along in unison. And Fran Healy certainly knows how work his crowd. The front man chatted away to the packed venue, explaining the personal resonance of each song and discussing the trials the band have conquered over the years.

Travis opened the gig with an emotionally rousing version of ‘Mother.’ Soon the whole audience was joining in the refrain, ‘why did we wait so long?’ And the fans burst into appreciative claps and cheers as the opening number finished. ‘Mother’ set the tone for the rest of the night. So much so that things got more than a little samey. Though things picked up during the encore when the band whipped out some of the rockier tunes for their debut album, ‘Good Feeling.’

Since two decades ago Travis, had had good vibes, yesterday was amazing concert!!!. In the words of Fran Healy: the band does music and write songs in order to share with friends ( their fans), they never think about fame on the radio stations. The setlist did not include the complete new album, only Everything Ones, Animals, 3 Miles High and Magnificent Time, but it was a plasure sang the classic songs!!!

The best moments were when Fran sang "Where you stand" on the shoulders of a mexican fan. On the other hand Andy Dunlop played the guitar like a king.

This is my second time at the Travis Christmas homecoming gig and again it was spectacular. The Man Who was and remains such a seminal album and hearing it live is amazing. Bookmarked with stories of the early days and the making of; and stories catered for the local crowd already make it such a special evening but add in the mix the festive celebrations (and thousands of drunk Glaswegians on the ultimate work night out) and it truly is a night that shall live long in the memory

They played from the recent tunes to their early ones, definitely one of the best gigs/show I have ever assisted, not because it was anything huge or spectacular, simply the relative small venue helped to create a magic atmosphere for all Travis fans, I think we all got what we expected.

Thanks again for delighting us with your music, thanks for making us dream.

Fantastic show. The audiences loved them and they rocked the place. Nice touch introducing Adam Wakeman. As well as 'The Man Who' they played other favourites and of course ended with 'Sing', which everyone did. Looking forward to the promised new album and more live shows.

It was lovely, they really managed to create a cosy and familiar feeling. Fran was really caring for the audience when he asked for water bottles to be distributed, because the concert hall was boiling hot. Good mix of old and new material.

They were good. For somebody that's top word of description is not usually above awrite I hope ye get that am feeling Joy. Wow aw these superlatives in one day after a big night oot. A needa wee lie down.

1.30 hour of show is a little bit short for me but english/scottish bands always play that time..

Good gig, great to hear them play the album in it's entirety.

Engaged well with the crowd and played all the songs you would have expected.

I flew all the way from Manila, Philippines to see TRAVIS for the 3rd time and because they are my favorite band in the world. Worth the miles traveled as always.

The additional prize - tickets to Swift's 'Eras tour' - ended up being purchased for a hefty $80,000 (£63,900), with proceeds going to the 15 and Mahomes Foundation, which works to support children in need. The auctioneer shared an Instagram post about the evening, noting: "It was a truly special night supporting @15andmahomies which improves the lives of children in need of health & wellness resources."

A video has surfaced online showing the couple arriving at the event hand-in-hand. Kelce is seen leading the way followed by Swift elegantly dressed in a long, dark green dress.

Kelce and Swift have been inseparable in recent weeks, even spotted sharing a kiss backstage at Coachella. Fans of the pop star, known as Swifties, have been sharing multiple videos of the couple across social media platforms.

The pair have been dating for nearly nine months now, with Swift seen supporting her beau at 13 different Chiefs games last season. Their romance was first revealed when Swift showed up at a game against the Chicago Bears in September. Swift and Kelce broke the internet in September 2023 when they confirmed their romance by the Grammy winner watching Kansas City Chiefs play the Chicago Bears at Arrowhead Stadium in Missouri.

Since then, fans (and haters) have debated who is more famous — one of the biggest names in music and one of the most successful tight ends in NFL history — and who has more money in the bank.

In October 2023, Swift reached billionaire status , according to a report from Bloomberg News Analysis. Bloomberg noted at the time that Swift’s music catalog is worth an estimated $400 million. The outlet reported that she made an estimated $370 million in concert sales and merchandise, $120 million in streaming earnings from Spotify and YouTube and $80 million in royalties from her music sales at the time.

Social Media and Endorsement Deals

Kelce only boasts 6.4 million Instagram followers to Swift’s more than 280 million fans. While the numbers aren’t exactly comparable, Kelce may directly profit off of his profile via Instagram ads more often. The football star reportedly makes $5 million annually on endorsements with several brands, including Nike, T-Mobile, Old Spice, McDonald’s, Walgreens, Dick’s Sporting Goods, Bud Light, Pfizer and more.

Kelce also cohosts a podcast with brother Jason Kelce titled “New Heights,” which earns the athletes an estimated $1 to 2 million in yearly revenue. According to Spotify, inquiries for “Travis Kelce” increased by more than 1,300 percent on the streaming service after Swift’s initial attendance at the Chiefs game.

Taylor Swift is so in love with Travis Kelce , she’s getting nervous about things going wrong — or that he’ll wind up thinking the fame is too much, sources tell Page Six.

“She wants a happy ending with Travis,” a source tells us. “She is worried about jinxing things.” 

The source further explained that Swift cares so much, “She is nervous something will mess things up.”

The source says that while the Kansas City Chiefs star seems more than comfortable in the limelight — hosting his own podcast, and even once starring in his own “Bachelor”-style TV dating show, “Catching Kelce” — Swift’s level of boundless fame can be daunting for anyone.

“There’s very little oxygen between her life and fame,” says the source. “Travis is a peacock, but he has never dated a celeb before , and she is one of the most famous women in the world. Right now he is enjoying everything and she is hoping that it stays like that.”

The insider adds that Swift is stressing that “he doesn’t get freaked out about the fame. That the constant-ness of it doesn’t get exhausting for him.”

Now that Swift’s latest album has dropped, things are even more in overdrive.

Our source tells us that like all artists, Swift can feel “vulnerable,” after releasing her music.

“It’s stressful, you feel vulnerable,” says the source. “It’s her most complicated piece of art.” 

The album has sent the Swift coverage even higher: An album review by Paste was written anonymously because the outlet was worried its writer could get threats of violence, after a similar issue over a review of her album “Lover.”

Then again, Swift has been more famous than ever before since the beginning of her relationship with Kelce, and they’re going strong.

The pair first went public when she attended a football game on Sept. 24 in the midst of her worldwide “Eras” tour, which lasted a year and a half. She also released a smash concert film in theaters.

Plus he won the Super Bowl, and their relationship has gotten endless headlines.

Travis Kelce and the Kansas City Chiefs agreed to a reworked contract Monday that makes the nine-time Pro Bowl selection the NFL’s highest-paid tight end.

Kelce’s new deal is not a two-year extension, but a raise for the final two seasons of his current deal. He will make $34.25 million across 2024 and 2025, a combined $4 million more than his previous salary, with $17 million guaranteed, several reports said.

The Chiefs announced the deal Monday afternoon but did not disclose financial details.

“A special day and moment in this organization … this is something we just wanted to knock right out of the park early on,” general manager Brett Veach said in a video call Monday.

Kelce’s deal was quickly celebrated by Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes.

”I told yall I’ll never let him leave!! Congrats my guy! @tkelce,” Mahomes said via X.

The deal potentially locks the foundational pieces of the team’s three Super Bowl victories in Kansas City for at least two more seasons.

“Back at it again, baby,” Kelce said in a video shared by the Chiefs on Monday. “Feels good to be in KC. I remember coming here 12 years ago. It’s an honor and a pleasure. I can’t wait to get after it. Just got out on the field with the boys — we’re back at it again.”

Chiefs signed head coach Andy Reid and Veach to contract extensions prior to the draft; defensive tackle Chris Jones signed a five-year, $95 million deal in March and Mahomes signed a 10-year deal in 2020.

Kelce, 34, was set to become a free agent after the 2025 season as part of a four-year, $57.25 million deal he signed in August 2020.

He was due to be fourth among NFL tight ends in annual salary in 2024, behind Darren Waller (Giants), T.J. Hockenson (Vikings) and George Kittle (49ers).

Kelce led the Chiefs with 93 receptions for 984 yards and five touchdowns in 2023. Kelce sat out Week 17 against the Chargers, forgoing a chance to stretch his streak of consecutive 1,000-yard seasons to eight in order to enter the playoffs healthy.

Kelce has 907 receptions for 11,328 yards and 74 touchdowns in 159 regular-season games with the Chiefs since he was drafted in the third round in 2013.

Travis Kelce sold four tickets to Taylor Swift's Eras Tour for $80,000 at a charity auction hosted by Patrick Mahomes.

Kelce and Swift attended the auction at The 15 and Mahomies Foundation Golf Classic gala in Las Vegas on Saturday, which raised money for health, wellness, and community resources that impact the lives of children.

Swift seemingly decided to auction off the tickets spontaneously, as they weren't included in the docket.

"I think, um, I was just talking to my significant other, and uh, we might have one other auction item that wasn't on the docket," Kelce said in a video posted to TikTok , cited by People .

"Has anybody heard of the Eras tour?" he said. The crowd cheered in response.

Several videos circulating on social media showed Swift and Kelce entering the event , and later, Swift was filmed waving a red napkin as the tickets were auctioned.

Bloomberg estimated that Swift earned $1.1 billion in 2023, largely due to the success of the Eras Tour.

An analysis by research company QuestionPro, cited by a Business Insider report , found that the average Swiftie spent $1,300 to head to the Eras Tour in 2023.

Some fans who spoke to BI's Juliana Kaplan admitted to spending up to $20,000 on expenses relating to Swift's tour, including flights, accommodation, costumes, and tickets.

Last year, data from the research company QuestionPro provided exclusively to CNN estimated Swift's tour will gross $2.2 billion in North American ticket sales, and that is before the resale market.

Four months after Taylor Swift shrugged off concerns about the environmental harm caused by her private-plane use with the quip, “Jet lag is a choice,” she’s being called out again by one of her least favorite people for the some 178,000 miles her two jets flew in 2023 and the massive amount of CO2 they emitted in the process.

Jack Sweeney, the University of Florida college junior who’s become known as Swift’s plane “stalker,” has presented a video that visually shows how the pop star’s planes criss-crossed the United States and the globe an estimated 170 times in 2023, amassing a number of miles that is equivalent of flying around the earth seven times. Her planes also emitted 1,200 tons of CO2 in the process, 83 times the average American, according to Jack Sweeney.

Certainly, some of this travel was due to Swift traveling for her Eras Tour but, according to published accounts, she also took a number of plane trips for pleasure, including to see her NFL star boyfriend, Travis Kelce, play in games in different U.S. cities.

Sweeney’s video also quoted Swift as saying, “Jet lag is a choice.” That’s a comment she made after leaving her tour in Japan in February to make a quick trip to Las Vegas for the sole purpose of watching boyfriend Kelce and his Kansas City Chiefs defeat the San Francisco 49ers in the Super Bowl.

The fact that Sweeney posted the video shows that he hasn’t been deterred by a cease-and-desist letter sent by Swift’s lawyer earlier this year, threatening to “pursue any and all legal remedies” if he didn’t stop using his social media accounts to track the travels of the mega-star’s jets.

Before Sweeney’s run-in with Swift, he had become known for running accounts that post information about the takeoffs and landings of jet planes and helicopters owned by celebrities and billionaires, such as Swift and Elon Musk, as well as politicians, Russian oligarchs and other public figures, the Washington Post reported. His posts also have shared estimates of the carbon dioxide that these aircraft are emitting into the environment. The accounts use publicly available data from the Federal Aviation Administration, while volunteer hobbyists track the aircraft via the signals they broadcast, the Post also said.

Swift’s attorney alleged that Sweeney’s posts about the trips her jets make constituted “stalking and harassing behavior,” as the Washington Post reported.

“While this may be a game to you, or an avenue that you hope will earn you wealth or fame, it is a life-or-death matter for our client,” the letter read.

“Ms. Swift has dealt with stalkers and other individuals who wish her harm since she was a teenager,” the letter continued. “The reality has forced our Client to live her life in a constant state of fear for her personal safety.”

The Sun reported that Swift’s spokesperson went so far as to say that an Instagram account Sweeney dedicated to Swift’s jet travel had a “connection” to a man being arrested in January outside her townhouse in Manhattan.

But Sweeney told The Sun that he has not heard from Swift’s lawyers since their cease-and-desist letter to him went public.

“Nothing (has happened),” Sweeney said, according to The Sun. “I’m not really surprised.”

“It’s pretty much like with Elon, you know, they’ll say something to intimidate the smaller person,” Sweeney also said.

Sweeney is referring to his run-in with the Tesla CEO in 2002, sparking a debate about free speech and the public’s right to certain information on X, Musk’s own social media platform. Musk publicly slammed Sweeney for tracking his jet on X, accused him of publishing his “assassination coordinates” and offered Sweeney $5,000 to stop, but Sweeney refused, The Sun reported.

In an interview with the Post about his accounts tracking Swift, Sweeney also they offered “an incomplete sketch” of cities Swift might be visiting, similar to publicly available schedules for her concerts or NFL games she might attend. The accounts moreover don’t say whether Swift is actually traveling on an aircraft being tracked, or where she or other passengers go once the planes land.

The week before Swift flew from Japan to Las Vegas for the Super Bowl, she also had been in Los Angeles for the Grammys. According to the Associated Press, this meant she needed to make a 19,400-mile round trip from the United States to Japan and back in less than a week. Two days after the game, she was back on a plane, flying another 8,000 miles from Las Vegas to Melbourne, Australia for the next stop on her tour.

Step aside Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce . The sports world has a new power couple: Caitlin Clark and Connor McCaffery.

The first overall pick in the WNBA Draft has been dating the former University of Iowa basketball player and Indiana Pacers team assistant since April 2023. And while the couple has kept most of their relationship private, they've shared a few glimpses of their romance with fans on social media, most recently celebrating their first anniversary.

As the Pacers continue their playoff run and Clark prepares for her Indiana Fever debut , here's a breakdown of everything you need to know about their relationship.

Connor McCaffery played basketball at the University of Iowa and graduated in 2023.

A talented athlete in his own right, McCaffery finished his collegiate basketball career with the second-best assist-to-turnover ratio in NCAA history, Hawkeye Sports reported. The five-time Academic All-Big Ten honoree played in 166 games — the second-most appearances in Iowa program history — and won 111, all under the guidance of head coach Fran McCaffery, Connor's father.

After graduating in 2023, McCaffery, now 25, started working for the Indiana Pacers as a team assistant with the ultimate goal of pursuing a career in coaching.

He told the Des Moines Register in May 2023, "I'll play dummy defense, run the scout team, help coaches on film stuff, help on video projects if they need, scouting reports if they need."

"It's a way in. It's an entry-level job. You've got to work hard and work your way up. That's obviously what I want to do," McCaffery added.

Clark and McCaffery started dating in April 2023 and made their relationship Instagram official in August 2023.

Clark gave fans a small look into the couple's relationship on Instagram , sharing photos of the two looking cozy on a boat with the caption, "Best end to summer [black heart emoji]."

In January 2024, McCaffery posted a heartfelt birthday tribute to Clark on Instagram.

"Happy Birthday 22," he wrote , referencing her jersey number, which is a nod to her birth date: January 22. This year, she turned 22.

He continued, "Wish I was there to celebrate with you - you deserve the best day [red heart emoji] Golden Bday / T Swift year will be the best yet. With all that you've already accomplished, there is so much more in store for you and your special self. I admire you in every way and I love you."

He shared the message alongside multiple photos of the couple throughout their relationship.

The couple, who were long-distance at the time, shared a funny exchange in the comments, with Clark questioning McCaffery's status as a true Taylor Swift fan, writing, "acting like u a T swift fan tho is crazy, but I will let this slide hehe."

"I am for you," McCaffery replied with several laughing emojis and prayer hands.

In February 2024, McCaffery was in the audience when Clark broke the NCAA women's scoring record.

Clark broke the NCAA women's scoring record in the February 15, 2024, game against Michigan, which Iowa won 106-89.

She finished the game with a career total of 3,569 points, surpassing Kelsey Plum's previous record of 3,527 points. The following month, she would break the all-time NCAA scoring record.

In addition to attending the game on February 15, McCaffery shared his support online, writing in an Instagram Story, "So proud" and "Love you 22" with a video of Clark's record-breaking 3-pointer that allowed her to reach the milestone, People reported.

McCaffery continued to support Clark throughout her final year at Iowa.

After Iowa's loss in the NCAA Women's Basketball Tournament championship in April, McCaffery shared a photo of Clark leaving the court in an Instagram Story, calling her "My GOAT."

Clark finished her career at Iowa with 3,951 points and a slew of athletic accolades, including Big Ten Player of the Year, Most Outstanding Player in the Big Ten Tournament, and the NCAA record for most 3-pointers in a single season, ESPN reported.

In April 2024, the couple celebrated one year since they started dating.

Clark posted a black-and-white image of the couple seemingly taken after the WNBA Draft, with the caption, "one year of the best mems w my fav person."

"you make everyday better and I can't wait for many more adventures together… I love you," she added.

McCaffery posted his own anniversary tribute, too, sharing another black-and-white photo of the couple laughing.

"One year w the best [heart hands emoji] doing life w u has been easy, and you never cease to amaze me.. can't wait to watch u live out ur dreams in person," he wrote.

As part of the tribute, he also posted a slow-motion video of Clark rolling her eyes during a game, prompting Clark to reply, "Nice video," and McCaffery responding, "best ever."

In an April interview, Clark credited McCaffery with helping her make the move to Indianapolis.

"It's great, obviously it makes the transition a little bit easier," Clark told IndyStar about having a support system already waiting for her in Indianapolis.

"You've got people that know the city, and obviously Connor being there is tremendous. I couldn't imagine a better place to start my professional career," she added.

McCaffery's brother, Patrick McCaffery, will also be in the area, having recently announced his transfer to Butler University for basketball.

Clark and Connor McCaffery commented on Patrick's post on Instagram, writing, "Indy takeover" and "I'll let u in on my city," respectively, showing how the two families are familiar with each other.

On April 26, Clark supported McCaffery and the Indiana Pacers at their playoff game.

Just over a week after appearing at her introductory Indiana Fever press conference, Clark was back in Indianapolis to support McCaffery and the Pacers in the team's third playoff game against the Milwaukee Bucks.

Before the game, Clark helped excite the crowd by "pumping the accelerator of a replica IndyCar," AP News reported. During the second quarter, she and her Fever teammates threw T-shirts into the stands to a roar of applause from her soon-to-be home fans at Gainbridge Fieldhouse.

Ahead of Clark's Fever debut in a few weeks, her jersey has already sold out. The excitement surrounding Clark has led to the cost of the team's ticket sales nearly tripling since last season, NPR reported. All 10 of the WNBA's most expensive regular season games of the 2024 season were for Fever games, Forbes reported, citing data from ticket website Gametime.
