Has anyone been on The Scandinavian 14 day tour offered by Globus Tours? If so, just wondered what your experience was and whether you would recommend. We have been on three Globus Tours in other countries and have thoroughly enjoyed. Thank you.

Most regulars on this forum are either locals or visitors who organise their own trip, so I'm not sure you will have much luck here with your query. What is the suggested itinerary for the tour?

You need to give a link and date to give us a chance of advising on the tour.

I really was looking for individuals who have actually taken The Scandinavian tour offered by the Globus company. Just taking a chance that someone had been on the tour and may respond. Well as Soph says, that’s unlikely. Search the web for reviews, but if you are happy with the company from previous tours you should be ok.

Still need the dates though to give you some heads up on weather and seasonal stuff.

You might note though that we don’t tip in Norway as all are properly employed with contract and proper wage. Given that you are from USA they’ll probably still try and get a tip for guide and driver out of you.

It looks really rushed but if you like to travel like this you will get a taste (nor much more) of some cities and scenery.

I think you may have better chances by searching for online reviews than from this forum, but you never know.

Thank you Soph and dyoll for your advice. dyoll, we were thinking mid-May - June as possible travel dates. I realize it looks rushed and cost. However, as I stated earlier just not comfortable doing on our own. Again, thank you for your thoughts.

then it seems to Focus on cities and much of the transport seems to be dull bus drives.

If you are interested in scenery and nature, then I would focus more on Norway's country side. May-June is a Perfect time around the western fjords. But the tour seems to offer a fine cross section of Southern Scandinavia.
