Asian Tour, time for International Series England

S tefano Mazzoli returns to the Asian Tour, which resumes after a month's break by proposing the International Series England (8-11 August), one of the competitions with a prize pool of 2,000,000 dollars (360,000 for the winner) in which players from LIV Golf usually take part.

It is played at the Foxhills Country Club (Longcross Course), in Ottershaw, near London in England.

Asian Tour, results

Mazzoli is coming off an excellent fifth place in the previous International Series Morocco, then during the break he made two passes on the Challenge Tour (8th Euram Bank Open and 38th in the Black Desert NI Open) in a season with several positive notes and in which he has the 'card' for the Asian circuit.

As always, a quality field in this type of event that includes the American John Catlin, leader of the order of merit, two titles this season and a second place after the playoff in Morocco, overtaken by the New Zealander Ben Campbell (no.

3), also starting together with four others among the top ten of the money list: the Korean Minkyu Kim (no. 5) and the Japanese Takahiro Hataji (no. 7), also on target in 2024, the Canadian Richard T. Lee (no. 8) and the Australian Scott Hend (no.

10). To follow the Belgian Thomas Pieters, the Americans Peter Uihlein and Harold Varner III, the South African Branden Grace, the Indian Anirban Lahiri, the Australian Wade Ormby, Scott Vincent of Zimbabwe, all in the LIV Golf like Campbell, together with the Mexican Luis Carrera, new entry in the Arab Super League.

The Challenge Tour is a European men's professional golf tour that serves as the 2nd European division, behind the PGA European Tour. This tour was created in 1986 and was called the Satellite Tour. The top fifteen in the season ranking qualify for the PGA European Tour the following year.

Some tournaments are played outside the European continent. In addition, the player who wins three tournaments in the same season automatically moves to the European Tour for the current season and keeps his card on this tour for the following season.

The lower circuits are the Alps Tour, EPD Tour and PGA EuroPro Tour. Each season, the top five from each circuit qualify for the Challenge Tour.

First Ever UK Asian Tour Event To Offer Free Entry For Fans

The newly-developed International Series will head to Slaley Hall in June, with it being announced that there will be free entry for all four days of action

Slaley Hall

On the 2nd - 5th June, the Asian Tour's International Series heads to Slaley Hall in Northumberland for its second $2 million International Series tournament of the season.

Ahead of the event, it has been revealed by tournament organisers that they are giving an ‘open invitation’ to the 'golfing and local community' with free attendance to the four-day tournament.

From 9am on Friday 6th May, fans can register for the event, with the Asian Tour making its first-ever trip outside the continent, and its first sanctioned competition outside of Asia.

Slaley Hall

Action gets underway at Slaley Hall on the 2nd - 5th June

In a statement, Cho Minn Thant, Commissioner and CEO of the Asian Tour, said that: “This is the Asian Tour’s first visit to the United Kingdom and we are looking forward to experiencing the north-east’s famous hospitality. Together, with the Tour’s contingent of international players, the tournament will also feature a group of local hopefuls looking to break through and vying for a share of the $2M prize purse as well as spots in the highly lucrative LIV Golf Invitational London the following week.

"North-east sports fans are widely known for their passion and support for sport, and we would like to invite all sports fans, golfers and families to come and catch some world-class golfing action and enjoy a stunning venue at the perfect time of year.”

For players featuring in the tournament at Slaley Hall, they will also have the chance to earn a place at the following LIV Golf Invitational Series event, with the top three players from the cumulative International Series rankings, through Thailand and England, as well as the top-two finishers in the International Series England, not otherwise exempt, earning spots at the tournament at Centurion Club on the 9th - 11th June.

Kim hits a shot

Sihwan Kim claimed the first Asian Tour International Series event by two strokes

Thant added: “There is real momentum and growth behind the Asian Tour and, thanks to the International Series, we are creating new opportunities for our players and unlocking potential wherever we play around the world.

"Much has been achieved already this season, but there is even more to be optimistic about when looking ahead to the future. In many ways we can draw parallels to the recent developments in the region where new investment has reinvigorated the football scene. I’m sure we’ll be made to feel very at home.”

Unveiled back in February, the International Series is made up of the Asian Tour and LIV Golf Investments, the Saudi Arabian Public Investment Fund-backed company headed by Greg Norman . Featuring 10 tournaments across Asia and Europe, it is predicted that there will be $300 million invested over the next decade.

In the first event in March, American, Sihwan Kim, claimed victory at Black Mountain Golf Club in Thailand and, following the events at Slaley Hall, the new series will head to Korea, Vietnam, Indonesia, the Middle East, China, Singapore and Hong Kong.

Matt joined Golf Monthly in February 2021 covering weekend news, before also transitioning to equipment and testing. After freelancing for Golf Monthly and The PGA for 18 months, he was offered a full-time position at the company in October 2022 and continues to cover weekend news and social media, as well as help look after Golf Monthly’s many buyers’ guides and equipment reviews.

Taking up the game when he was just seven years of age, Matt made it into his county squad just a year later and continues to play the game at a high standard, with a handicap of around 2-4. To date, his best round came in 2016, where he shot a six-under-par 66 having been seven-under through nine holes. He currently plays at Witney Lakes in Oxfordshire and his favourite player is Rory McIlroy, despite nearly being struck by his second shot at the 17th during the 2015 BMW PGA Championship.

London Calling For Asian Tour?

asian tour london

There’s a fair chance Keith Pelley probably didn’t think he’d have to deal with the ramifications of the Asian Tour holding a tournament in his new patch when he became chief executive of the European Tour, now the DP World Tour.

The Canadian could be facing exactly that situation this summer with the Asian Tour seemingly set to break new ground by announcing its first tournament in England. That’s the news I’m hearing on the golf grapevine.

Seems Saudi company Aramco is to stage an Asian Tour event in June at the Centurion Club, near St Albans, just north of London. Talk about close to home, it’s just 31 miles from Pelley’s office in Virginia Water to the Centurion Club. The Canadian should have that trip plugged into his car’s Satnav system: The Tour staged the 2017 and 2018 GolfSixes at Centurion.

Aramco appears set to run back-to-back men’s and women’s events at the course between St Albans and Hemel Hempstead. The $1 million Aramco Series London tournament on the Ladies European Tour is set for June 16-18, one of four Aramco sponsored tournaments on the LET along with Sotogrande, New York and Jeddah. The men’s tournament is pencilled into the week previous to the London date, clashing with the $1 million Scandinavian Mixed hosted by Henrik & Annika, a co-sanctioned event between the DP World Tour and LET.

I have no news on prize fund, or whether the event is a one off or part of a series of tournaments like the four on the LET. Perhaps we’ll find out this week with the Asian Tour staging the Saudi International at Royal Greens Golf and Country Club near Jeddah.

One thing’s for sure: it is an audacious move to stage a tournament in traditional European Tour territory. As one of my sources who did not want to be named said:

“I’m sure the European Tour won’t be too happy, but it’s great news for Asian Tour players after what they’ve been through.”

Covid-19 hit the Asian circuit hard to the point where it look on the verge of folding, but a massive investment by Saudi-backed LIV Golf Investments, with Greg Norman as chairman, has allowed the Asian Tour to rise from the ashes. It spelled the end for the partnership between the European and Asian Tours, a partnership that had worked to produce a host of co-sanctioned events over the years.

The strategic alliance between the PGA Tour and European Tour, along with the latter forming recent partnerships with the Australasian and Sunshine Tours, was supposed to see off the Saudi threat. The Saudis obviously aren’t going away. That much is obvious this week with the appearance money being paid to the likes of defending champion Dustin Johnson, Phil Mickelson, Xander Schauffele, Tony Finau, Patrick Reed, Sergio Garcia, Ian Poulter, Lee Westwood, Shane Lowry, Paul Casey, Tyrrell Hatton, Kevin Na, Tommy Fleetwood, Bubba Watson, Henrik Stenson, Jason Dufner and others to play in Jeddah.

Human rights? Sports washing? The above obviously don’t care. They’re voting with their wallets, not their consciences.

To add insult to injury, this week’s Saudi International is up against the inaugural Ras al Khaimah Championship presented by Phoenix Capital on the DP World Tour. The $2 million event features Danny Willett, Bernd Wisberger, Padraig Harrington, Colin Montgomerie, Thomas Bjorn, Miguel Angel Jiménez, but it can’t compete with the star-studded $5 million Saudi International field, and its estimated of $20 million appearance fee fund.

The field for the Asian Tour event at Centurion, if it is to take place, should make for interesting reading. Will financial inducements be paid out to lure major European stars, especially the week before the U.S. Open? Only time will tell.

In November last year, European Tour chairman Keith Williams said this about the Asian Tour.

“The Asian Tour has gone from being partners to being competitors. And we are fierce competitors.”

A proposed tournament in Williams and Pelley’s backyard is sure to make that competition even fiercer.

Interesting times in professional golf to say the last. I wonder where it will all end?

#JustSaying : “The only stats I care about are pay cheques and victories.” Greg Norman

Reviews of Small Group tours to Asia

This was my first time ever travelling without family and it was amazing! One of the best months of my life. Our CEO Tong was brilliant and full of knowledge about where we were going and what we would be doing. He made sure to have enough time for anyone and helped in anyway he could to make things run smoothly for everyone on tour including myself. If you go on this tour, make sure you ask for Tong or (Phanet Tep) as your CEO!
Everything was great however the 3 star hotels all featured beds that were way too hard, they were probably catering for a large proportion of Japanese tourists, meals were also probably .not what typical Australians would prefer. A sore back everyday was not what we had expected, we would have upgraded to 4 star if we had known in advance.
Bit of a whirlwind, but good. Guides were medium/good. Hotels were medium/good. Good value for the price.

A Japanese Day Out in London

asian tour london

The sun is shining again which means the season for day trips and outdoor explorations is officially open . Japanese gardens in the UK can make for a beautiful day but let’s not forget how fickle the sun can be. One minute you’re sweltering in the spring heat and then out of the blue, little drops of rain speckle the hot tarmac as you run to find shelter. Well, visitors to London can rest assured, the weather might be unpredictable, but we have plenty of indoor Japanese entertainment options in the city .

Time to find out where to hit up in London for a Japan-themed day out!

Where to go first

Starting with places where you can enjoy well-rounded Japanese cultural experiences in London, there are a few spaces that need to make it onto your list.

Japan House

asian tour london

In the heart of Kensington High Street , you can find Japan House, an exhibition space where you can enjoy Japanese art and design from different perspectives. The current exhibition is called ‘Windowology’ and is scheduled to run until the 24th of April, but there is something new on display all the time. Get some souvenirs from Japan House’s sleek shop and get a taste of Japanese food in their restaurant, Akira. We especially recommend ordering their afternoon tea or booking in for their beautiful bento box during lunch with a 50% discount if you book in advance via  here !

asian tour london

Pantechnicon

asian tour london

Another must-visit space is Pantechnicon located in Belgravia . It’s a space which combines two cultures separated by land and sea but which, surprisingly, complement each other very well - Japan and the Nordics . You can spend some time browsing through Pantechnicon’s downstairs and upstairs shops, the Edit and Studio , which are real treasure troves for interesting gifts and useful goods. If you don’t have a lot of time, make sure to grab a Japantastic pastry and a drink from Cafe Kitsune . Ask for their seasonal pastries because they will blow your socks off. Pantechnicon has a Japanese restaurant ‘Sachi’ and a drink bar ‘Sakaya’ where they offer many experiences and masterclasses so check out their website when planning your visit - there might be something going on! Setting an hour or two aside to learn about the secrets of Japanese sake or whiskey sounds like the beginning of a great day.

asian tour london

A great spot to browse if you’re on a day out shopping or want to try different types of Japanese food with your family, is Ichiba in White City’s Westfield. It’s Europe’s largest Japanese food court with counters devoted to all-time favourites such as takoyaki, okonomiyaki, yakitori, and more. They offer an extensive dining space in and outdoors and you can even sample a variety of authentic Japanese baked goods ! We love a cheeky melon pan*.

*One of Japanese people’s favourites, melon pan is a sweet bread which visually resembles a melon but the flavour has no connection to it!

asian tour london

Speaking of food, London offers a wide range of Japanese restaurants . You can find delicious ramen and sushi on almost every corner but two specialty restaurants have actually come all the way to the UK from Japan in recent years. The first one is  Curry House Coco Ichibanya which offers Japanese style curry in many different combinations. You can pick your level of spice and what toppings you’d like to build your own katsu curry. There are two branches in central London so it’s not difficult to find them A second pick is the recently opened Marugame Udon which serves Japan’s delicious, thick noodles served with broth and toppings or fried. The food here is both delicious and very affordable - you can even grab something substantial for as low as 6 pounds! They currently have four shops but are planning to open three more in the summer of 2022.

Make memories

Visiting Japan creates unforgettable memories and while we can’t do that just yet, we can enjoy some unique Japanese cultural experiences in London.

asian tour london

Are you a fan of sake? Because London’s first sake brewery ‘ Kanpai Sake ’ offers exciting tours on Saturdays including a tasting session featuring three of their premium sakes! If you want to go the extra mile, you can even sign up for a whole day sake brewing experience .

Sing your heart out

Nothing compares to a quick session of singing your favourite tunes whatever they might be: anime openings, retro Japanese hits, Adele; we’re not here to judge! Spending an afternoon in a private karaoke booth is definitely a highlight of a trip to Japan so why not practice now in one of London’s karaoke spots? You can book them for an hour or more at places like the affordable Lucky Voice , Karaoke Box in Soho, or Karaoke Epoc where you can use the same karaoke system as you would in Japan !

London for otaku and pop culture fans

asian tour london

The streets around Soho are a goldmine for fans of anime and Japanese pop culture. You can find smaller shops selling an odd item here and there but also places like the Forbidden Planet Megastore, Japan Craft, or Gosh! Comics . Once you’ve stocked up on merch, you can end your afternoon with a cinema screening of a Japanese classic film or new releases . A good place to look out for is The Prince Charles Cinema  on Leicester Square which often shows Japanese films and organises anime marathons (their most recent one was a Ghibli marathon!). The BFI on the Southbank also organises Japan-themed screenings or events so make sure to watch out for them, too. In April 2022, they have planned a whole month of Anime-themed entertainment and you can find more information here .

Gaming season

If games are more up your alley, we have two thrilling options for you. Head to Las Vegas Arcade Soho to enjoy Japanese arcade games including some older classics. We recommend coming here during the week when you can visit outside of the weekend crowds. For board game and consoles  with a sprinkle of arcade options, spend an evening at one of the Loading Bars which you can find on the trendy streets of  Stoke Newington and Peckham . Our favourite thing about this place is their game-themed cocktails like the Pokemon Sloe ! Don’t forget to book in advance if you’re planning a weekend outing. Another great place for Japan-themed board games is the Library Pot in Richmond where you can play hits like 'Tokaido' while listening to the original soundtrack! It's really close to Kew Gardens so you can head to the Library Pot after enjoying a spot of Japanese architecture amongst the nature at Kew.

Culture with a big C

asian tour london

There are new exhibitions happening in London every month , and you can see some big names like the instantly sold-out Yayoi Kusama’s exhibition ‘Infinity Mirrors’ in Tate Modern . There are some equally enthralling free Japanese exhibitions which you can enjoy without the hassle of booking.  One of them is  The Mitsubishi Corporation Japanese Galleries at the British Museum where you can explore Japanese art and crafts through time . The British Museum also offers seasonal Japan-themed exhibitions so make sure to watch out for them and book in advance!

asian tour london

For art and design enthusiasts a trip to The Toshiba Gallery at the V&A is a must. V&A also hosts fascinating seasonal exhibitions such as the past ‘Kimono: Kyoto to Catwalk’ . The Sway Gallery is another spot for getting a glance of quirky Japanese crafts  and while their exhibition space is smaller in comparison to the previous options, they do host a plethora of smaller exhibitions which means that you can see something different every time you visit !

In 2022 there are some additional exhibitions such as ‘ JAPAN: COURTS AND CULTURE ’ at the Queen's Gallery at Buckingham Palace which is running from the 8th of April until the 26th of February 2023. For fans of impactful Japanese painting, the  Royal Academy of Arts is running an exhibition on Kyosai , a popular painter from the 19th century. This exhibition is on between the 19th of March and the 19th of June 2022.

Sleep over with style

asian tour london

After a long day of exploring what Japanese cultural experiences London has to offer, you can end your day with a stay at a  luxurious five-star Japanese hotel, Prince Akatoki Hotel , and get a true taste of Japanese hospitality with a night surrounded by minimalist luxury.  Prince Akatoki houses TOKii restaurant where you can try many Japanese delicacies, and The Malt Lounge & Bar which offers a wide range of Japanese spirits with a focus on whiskey and sake.

What a weekend! We hope you found something unique to create your perfect Japanese getaway in London. One last thing before you get planning, watch out for Japanese trains on your way home . Taking the high speed train line into Kent, or an Azuma train out of Euston you’ll be travelling at speeds made possible thanks to the use of Japanese bullet train technology!

Who would say no to a day out in London filled with Japanese entertainment?

11 best things to do in London

Immerse yourself in the vibrant culture of England's capital—from a coveted cabaret bar to one of the city's best curry restaurants.

Night scene with passers-by in front of City Hall with a view of the City of London skyline.

Beyond the London Eye, Tower of London, and Buckingham Palace, London has a long list of bygone treasures certain to pique the interest of every type of traveler. Deciding the best things to do and see can be a daunting task, but we’re making it a little easier for you. Here’s are the top things to do in London, specifically not-to-be-missed experiences that make the city so enticing

Explore history and drama at the Sir John Soane’s Museum

Visitor Assistant Jonty Stern poses in The Picture Room of The Sir John Soanes Museum in London.

Before the streaming TV series “Bridgerton”, there was   Sir John Soane’s Museum , a Regency townhouse preserved much how the namesake architect left it in 1837. A classics nut and passionate collector, Soane furnished every square inch with art,   antiquités   and his own remarkable drawings. Visitors shouldn’t leave without seeing the portrait of   Nora Brickenden   hanging in his dressing room. “Soane, always susceptible to flattery and attention from women, was superficially ensnared by the impressionable vicar's daughter from Hereford,” says Gillian Darley, historian and author of the biography, “John Soane: An Accidental Romantic”. The famous architect and Brickenden were spotted together in 1813, while Soane’s wife Eliza was away in the country. To learn how it panned out, take the   Highlights tour , offered daily at noon.

Find your tribe in Hampstead Heath

Few wanderers would consider jumping in a beech-shaded pond in a wild, secluded corner of   Hampstead Heath . And yet for a century, artists, poets, musicians and LGBTQ+ Londoners have bonded in the chilly depths of the   Kenwood Ladies’   Bathing Pond   –   Europe’s only natural swimming pond for women.   “Swimming here through the year provides an extraordinary connection with the changing seasons,” says Nicky Mayhew, a longtime wild swimmer from Hampstead.   “For many of us, it’s a form of meditation.” Its purity and body-positivity have even inspired some regulars to wax lyrical for the essay collection   At the Pond .

Embark on a sailing adventure to Little Venice

People relax on one of the houseboats on the Grand Union Canal at Little Venice, London.

A willow-shaded sanctuary for waterfowl and hobby fishermen, the Regent’s Canal was a major thoroughfare when it opened 200 years ago as a shortcut to the Thames. And the leafy pedestrian towpath was trod by ponies hauling merchant narrowboats.   “You can still spot evidence of a 1874 explosion under Macclesfield Bridge, caused by a boat carrying gunpowder and leaking petrol fumes,” says Martin Sach, chair of the   London Canal Museum . His bucolic narrowboat cruises depart Fridays from the museum’s charming location in a former icehouse and sail to the residential enclave of Little Venice, passing the bridge en route.

Flex your cycling skills on this Olympic track

To Londoners, it’s known as “The Pringle” because of its potato-chip shape. However, the   Lee Valley VeloPark , built for the 2012 Olympic Games, is a serious landmark, designed with input from   gold-medal Olympian Chris Hoy   to be efficient and lightweight, like a racing bike. Since then, welcoming cyclists of all levels has been part of the neighborhood mandate, building on what’s become a major cultural quarter. Newcomers can learn BMX or mountain bike skills, or race on the undulating course with high-end rental bikes. Entry fees are subsidized, so you may be able to stretch your budget to include a swim at the   Aquatics Centre .

Satiate your hunger for authentic curry

In London, some curry houses serve only English-invented dishes such as tikka masala. Others are suitable only after the pub, and a few greats have earned lifelong fans. “I’ve been going to   Rasa   since I was a kid – and, more importantly, when I used to be vegetarian,” says Leonie Cooper, food and drink editor of “Time Out London”. The hot pink-painted shoebox on Stoke Newington Church Street serves dishes from India’s Kerala region –   creamy, meatless, and refreshingly light, according to Cooper. “For the   b agar   baingan , aubergines are made into a paste before being mixed with yogurt and a cashew sauce. Deeply savory.” Those who try it will never eat tikka again.

Explore a secret tropical garden

People lounge in chairs at the Barbican Centre Conservatory surrounded by plants.

Most people wouldn’t expect to see a Victorian greenhouse in Brutalist landmark like the Barbican Centre. In fact you won’t see it at all unless you bypass the concert hall, theatres, art galleries and Champagne bar for the massive top-floor   Conservatory   with its 1,500 tropical plants. A new mission to “activate” the space for contemporary art has spurred artists to experiment. “Installations across the greenhouse encourage people to spend time, slow down, observe,” says Shanay Jhaveri, Barbican’s head of visual arts. Open Friday evenings and Sundays only, it’s still something of a secret –   and a weather-proof alternative to Kew Gardens.

Uncover a classic pub’s hidden history

While lesser pubs close their doors,   Ye Olde Mitre   thrives, serving cozy Elizabethan lore alongside Kent Golding Bitter, a local malt drawn from ancient wood casks. If you’re lucky enough to find its narrow passage marked 1546, you’ll pass the fossilized cherry tree a certain Virgin Queen danced around. “There’s a sense of magic in its concealed location,” says John Warland, a pub maven who gave it star billing in his book “Hidden Pubs of London”. “People love being in on the secret.” The landlady lives above the shop and makes certain all feel welcome… for the price of a pint. But plan well because the Mitre closes on weekends.

Let them entertain you at Cockatoo cabaret

East End celebs popped in regularly for garlic-caramel roast chicken after the ‘industrial chic’ Bistrotheque opened in 2004. But   the Cockatoo   piano bar downstairs might be its most dazzling legacy, making stars of cabaret queens like   Robyn Herfellow , who insists, “It’s chic, but the place doesn’t forget its roots – the crockery is clean but the cabaret can still get pretty filthy.”

According to new headliner   Don One , “You always get a few people who are new to seeing drag kings, and it feels like a great opportunity to introduce them to something new. As a singer who incorporates comedy into my performance, I move around the space interacting with the crowd, and everyone loves me.”

Climb the sacred dome of a famous cathedra l

If anything can top the view of St. Paul’s enchanting dome, it’s the so-called BBC view from the third-floor triforium, where the press filmed Charles and Di’s wedding. The   Triforium Tour   leads up a floating spiral staircase into the depths of the dome. “There’s a door you can pop your head out, step out onto the balcony, and look up – and you’re right underneath the mosaics, glittering in the light,” says Sandra Lynes Timbrel, director of visitor engagement. It continues into a library that features the first English-language bible, then to the nave: “That’s the money shot,” says Lynes Timbrel. From this unique vantage point, visitors get a sweeping view of the cathedral high above the people below. Architect Christopher Wren’s original scale model is located here, too. “It’s a bit of a squeeze to walk inside, but it draws an audible gasp when people walk in the room. David Bowie came in the last year of his life just to see it.”

Walk down to Electric Avenue

Shoppers at Brixton Market on Electric Avenue, Lambeth, London.

Brixton commuters get an eyeful of art as soon as they reach the train platform, where bronze statues, created in 1986, immortalize eight   local   residents. “They were the earliest identifiably Black portraits in England,” says   Kelly Foster , a longtime guide and fifth-generation resident of this Afro-Caribbean community. While her walks cover heritage highlights, like oral histories and activist art from the   Black Cultural Archives , she’s also an authority on Jamaican delights. Through Electric Avenue –   yes,   that   Electric Avenue – you’ll find   Etta’s Seafood , “where you can choose what fish Etta cooks for you.” Carry on to   The   Effra   Hall   Tavern   – it has a great jazz session on Thursdays,   a cross between Jamaican and be-bop that originated in 1960s London.

Catch a free show on the South Bank

From afar, the   Brutalist landmarks   known collectively as the   South Bank   might seem foreboding. Only when you stroll past them on the promenade do you understand what the hype is really all about. Street jazz, performance art, madcap skateboarders, an interactive water feature designed   by artist Jeppe Hein, and   the year-long calendar of free events guarantee no dull moments are had on this bend in the Thames. High points are the toddy-fueled   Winter Festival   and June’s   Meltdown , when a chosen artist (Chaka Khan, Grace Jones, David Byrne) curates a 10-day live music spectacle.
