I was fortunate to be introduced to the Journey - Boca and have been greatly benefitted by the teachings and programs offered. It's been a welcoming experience and I recommend highly others searching for a church to attend The Journey Church - Boca Raton

The most welcoming, FUN, lively church EVER!!! I have been going to the Journey for about four months now and I LOVE IT!! The people are so welcoming, fun, caring and lively people you will ever meet, we have a saying when serving on the welcome team "make church a party!!". If you are a visual learner like me you will like how the Journey uses programs in which you follow along the service with. Come join us at Journey Church, We don't bite!! ;)

My baptism on December 11th 2022

My Wife and I are vacationing in Boca Raton from Illinois. I searched for a Church and found The Journey Church. We really enjoyed being there for Worship Sunday morning. Folks are Friendly, Worship Music and Worship is Spirit Filled and the Pastor, Jason, was very loving and Christlike. He has that Spirit that glows and his Message was Biblical and easy to listen to yet challenging enough to inspire a closer walk with Jesus. He is a natural speaker with the right amount of humor to relax you and conviction to inspire. I highly recommend The Journey and will visit again next opportunity.

The people are friendly and welcoming And I feel accepted here. I love hearing the word of God as I am learning how to walk closer to God. I love their sign on the building and the pastors and staff Here, too. They teach truth and lead with love.

I spent most of my life attending a non-denominational, multicultural radical church. I came here the first week I moved to Boca Raton, and I really enjoyed the service. Particularly, I really enjoyed the flow of the service. It lasted approximately one hour and ten minutes. It was Mother's Day and it was my first time, so I received a book written by the Senior Paster and a bag of chocolates. Worship was great. The message was practical, well-spoken, and easy to follow. I look forward to coming back here for more worship, fellowship, and biblical lessons.

The Journey is an amazing church. My husband and I started attending last October and recently became members. I had never been to church in my life and Pastor Jason made us feel welcome and included. They also have great growth groups to get to know people better. Sunday is our favorite day of the week now! :)

We were in Boca for three weeks, so we needed to find a church. At home we attend a Southern Baptist church - VERY traditional - but our favorite church was the one we belonged to in Arizona, Chandler Christian Church. Non-denominational, casual, modern. So after attending the famous but kind of stodgy Coral Ridge Presbyterian Church our first Sunday here, I really wanted to find something more, well - fun. After an Internet search that turned up several Catholic churches, a couple of Charismatic congregations (I only speak the English tongue, alas) and one with a self-proclaimed "prophetess" (really??), The Journey popped up. Other than taking place at a high school (we'd love to hear the story behind that), it sounded like just what we were looking for. And it was. Yes, it's in a high school auditorium, but they have done a GREAT job. From the parking attendants to the greeters to the worship guides, it feels like a "real," welcoming church. But the service is of course the most important thing. We loved it. The music was awesome - current, upbeat, fun. The lead pastor's sermon was engaging and Biblical, with humor and historical references thrown in. We left feeling like we had both worshipped and learned some things. Love that! Our only complaint was that it doesn't really feel like a congregation. I don't remember from my research how long the church has been meeting, but it felt like very few members really knew each other. As my husband put it, it felt like we'd been to a theater performance, where everyone is friendly and civil, but you come, watch and leave without connecting to anyone else. I know they are working on that, by encouraging involvement and such, but we weren't feeling it that day. It was a perfect church for us, as visitors, though. We will definitely go again while we're here, and if we lived here we would consider making it our home church. Great place.

Community Announcement: Journey Church Boca Raton Prepares For Easter Services

BOCA RATON, FL (BocaNewsNow.com) (Copyright © 2023 MetroDesk Media, LLC) (Community Announcement) — The Journey Church of Boca Raton is offering more Easter service options than ever before in anticipation of record crowds on Easter Sunday, April 9. 

In-Person services at The Journey Church will take place on Sunday, April 9 at 9:30am or 11:00am at The Journey’s new Ministry & Worship Center located at  2200 NW Boca Raton Blvd  in Boca Raton (between Glades Rd and Spanish River Blvd; beside Maui Spa).  Admission is free and no ticket is necessary.  

The in-person services will feature free Jupiter Donuts and Starbucks Coffee, Easter Baskets filled with candy and other goodies for all children, and a free gift for all first-time guests. 

And with casual dress (no ties necessary), upbeat music, and Biblical messages that are relevant to the South Florida lifestyle, The Journey is rolling out the red carpet to welcome everyone in our community.

But it’s the over two dozen online Easter services that makes this Easter more accessible to the people of South Florida than ever before.  Easter Online services begin Saturday, April 8 at 5pm and will go live every two hours thereafter, including prime Easter Service times on Easter Sunday, April 9 at 7am, 9am, 11am, 1pm, 3pm, and more. 

“After all that we have gone through in recent years, including the events of recent weeks, people are hungry for hope more than any time I’ve seen since The Journey started in 2011,” said Jason Hatley, Lead Pastor of The Journey Church.  “Easter is about good news, and that’s something we desperately need in our community today.”

Those in attendance on Easter can expect to hear modern, uplifting music featuring The Journey’s top-notch band of musicians. And adults and children alike will enjoy a the warm, welcoming environment. 

The event is free and no ticket is required. Parking is available at The Journey’s Ministry and Worship Center, and area businesses.
