Our 2 hour Hollywood bus tour starts off on the Hollywood Walk of Fame, one of the most popular tourist destinations in Los Angeles. The walk is a tribute to those who have made significant contributions to the entertainment industry, with each star representing a different celebrity. The Hollywood Sign

Then we venture up to the Hollywood Hills on Mulholland Drive with beautiful panoramic view of The Hollywood Sign, which originally read "Hollywoodland", was erected in 1923 as an advertisement for a housing development. It has since become an icon of Hollywood and is one of the most popular tourist destinations in Los Angeles.

Producer Ryan Murphy Lists His Richard Neutra-Designed Bel-Air Pad for $33.9M

Television producer Ryan Murphy , famous for hit shows like “American Horror Story” and “Glee,” has put his five-bedroom home on the market for $33.9 million, according to The Wall Street Journal .

Murphy spent over a year restoring the 3,795-square-foot Los Angeles estate that’s just steps from the Bel-Air Country Club. Named the Brown House, this architectural stunner was built in 1955 by famous Austrian-American architect Richard Neutra .

“The Brown House is a historically-significant L.A. landmark; an updated, yet still refined, time capsule that embodies the best parts of Neutra and all those who have had the fortune of calling it ‘home’ over the years,” one of the property’s listing agents, Tim Wollaston at Riley Real Estate , said in a statement.

The Brown House, however, isn’t Murphy’s first property by a long shot. The successful producer is quite active in the real estate game. In 2021, he bought a Brentwood, CA, ranch for $7.2 million . Then, two years ago, he picked up Richard Gere’s lovely Pound Ridge, NY, home for $24,150,000 .

Sleek showstopper

This pad is a work of art, crafted from glass, wood, and concrete and providing a 180-degree view of Los Angeles .

It boasts restored, original terrazzo flooring; black, mosaic bathroom tile; and wood paneling throughout. Meanwhile, the living room is described in the listing as “palatial” and “double-wide,” with sleek glass walls and a neutral color palette.

There are two kitchens here, one with an L-shaped counter, top-of-the-line stainless steel appliances, and plenty of windows. Meals can be served in the formal dining room, which includes outdoor access.

Step back in time

The bedrooms are equally showstopping, with oversized windows and rich wood walls. Each bathroom is spacious and constructed with only the best materials.

Outside, the grounds are exquisitely designed, with Romanesque gardens, lush foliage, and a 17th-century fountain.

Even cooler? The Brown House has had other famous owners besides Murphy. One was fashion designer Tom Ford , who called the Brown House home for two decades and even left behind his built-in settee when he moved out.

Interested buyers can also purchase the property with all of its contents for a negotiated price. As explained in a statement, this pad includes furniture and objects (such as an antique silver collection) from other “mid-centuries” throughout history.

Murphy, 58, has produced a long list of successful television shows, including “Nip/Tuck,” “Glee,” “Pose,” “Feud,” and “American Horror Story.” He’s the winner of six Primetime Emmys and received 38 Primetime Emmy nominations in total. Beyond television, Murphy directed movies such as “Eat, Pray, Love” and “Running with Scissors.”
