Bad Bunny, known as Benito Antonio Martínez Ocasio, is a Puerto Rican rapper/singer who has taken the world by storm with his lyrical delivery and flashy style. He can loosely be called a reggaeton and Latin trap artist, but his experimental tendencies promise more surprises in his career.

Bad Bunny first entered the public zeitgeist in 2016 with his single “Diles,” which was responsible for landing him a deal with Hear This Music. Other tracks like “Soy Peor,” as well as collaborations with other big artists like J Balvin, Ozuna, Karol G, and Farruko, helped drive his career forward in the ballistic rise of this young legend.

Bad Bunny’s true breakthrough was in 2018, when he was featured on Cardi B’s track “I Like It” with J Balvin. That same year, he put out a song called “Mia” featuring none other than Drake. His first album, X 100, was pre-released that December and made it to number 11 on the Billboard 200.

Just six months later, Bad Bunny and J Balvin released a collab album called Oasis, which reached number nine on the Billboard Global 200. With eight Latin platinum certifications from the RIAA, Oasis cemented Bad Bunny as a name to watch.

Despite the difficulties of COVID-19, 2020 was a year of extremely prolific output for Bad Bunny. On February 29, 2020, he released his second solo studio album, YHLQMDLG (an acronym for “Yo Hago Lo Que Me Da La Gana,” or “I do what I want”). YHLQMDLG surged to number two on the Billboard charts, becoming the highest-charting all-Spanish album of all time.

YHLQMDLG wouldn’t keep that record for long. In November of the same year, Bad Bunny smashed his own record with his third studio album, El Último Tour Del Mundo. This album became the first-ever album recorded all in Spanish to reach the top of the Billboard 200 charts. Between his two 2020 studio albums, Bad Bunny also found time to drop a compilation album, Las Que No Iban A Salir (Spanish for “The Ones That Were Not Coming Out”).

In 2020 and 2021, he was the first non-English-speaking musician to receive the “most-streamed artist of the year” accolade. With recent videos like “Tití me Preguntó” amassing over half a billion views on YouTube, it’s clear why Bad Bunny is credited with giving a boost to Spanish-language music in the English-speaking and worldwide markets.

Bad Bunny hasn’t slowed down since. His fourth studio album, Un Verano Sin Ti, came out in May 2022 and also hit the number one spot in the US.

Speaking of accolades, you can’t ignore the fact that Bad Bunny has already earned two Grammys, four Latin Grammys, 13 Premios lo Nuestro awards, and eight Billboard Music awards. His place in the global music scene can’t be questioned. The only question is: will you manage to catch him in concert while he’s still in this historic early phase of his career?

Bad Bunny tour dates are currently popping up for the remainder of 2022 and 2023, giving you a chance to catch this reggaeton sensation in person.

Live reviews

Bad Bunny was absolutely amazing! This was my second time seeing him here in Seattle and loved his show. I would see him again in concert in a heartbeat. He exudes high energy, super fun to sing and dance to and love the way he interacts with the crowd. The lighting and smoke effects also added to the ambiance and overall concert experience.

Sound quality and parking (fire/safety hazard/people were there, but didn't assist with directing traffic in any way) at Tacoma Dome wasn't the best unfortunately, so hoping any future shows would be at the new Key Arena or back at WaMu Theatre.

The event stated that it would begin at 7pm. It didnt start till almost 9pm. It would be helpful if the start time was more accurate. Overall, it was a good performance. Wish there was some performance before the concert. I did enjoy how the effects were presented, love the bracelets that were on the seats. The surprised guest fantastic. Will I come to another concert of Bad Bunny, probably not for a long time. Hoping that he comes out with more surprises later in the future.

Hands down one of the best shows I've ever been to! Bad Bunny is just such a huge character and has so much charisma and very fun to dance along with. The sound and acoustics in WaMu Theater were amazing. I was also very impressed with the cocktail area and the great service of the staff. Also, the visual art and effects of the show were so dope. This was my first time seeing him live, and it most certainly will not be my last!

That concert in my daughters words was lit.

It was amazing from the time he hit the stage no one sat down. Very humble got off stage to shake hands with fans and thank us over and over because us is why his dreams came true. After the concert people were waiting in line and hour to get souvenirs. He was worth every penny I would go again. He has a big fan base here just wish the concert was a little longer.

Bad Bunny’s film plans have been put on hold by Sony/Columbia Pictures because of the tour. Originally, he was to star in a Spider-Man spinoff called El Muerto , to be directed by Jonas Cuarón. It would have marked the first time a Latino character led a Marvel live-action film.

El Muerto is a character within Spider-Man’s universe. In Marvel lore, he is an antihero and the son of a luchador next in line to inherit the ancestral power of “El Muerto.”

The film remains in development, but Bad Bunny’s tour schedule and the ongoing strike makes finalizing a date complicated.

Bad Bunny’s new abum became the most-streamed album in a single day in 2023 so far on Spotify. The album has amassed more than 900 million streams, and its lead track, Monaco , hit #1 in 16 countries on Spotify.

Fans can register now until Sunday, October 22 at 11:59 PM ET  HERE  for the Registration Onsale. Once registration closes, fans will be randomly selected to receive a code that grants them access to the onsale on Wednesday, October 25.

Bad Bunny Reveals He's Taking Break in 2023 to 'Enjoy My Achievements': 'We're Going to Celebrate'

The music superstar opened up about his plans for the new year and reflected on his stadium tour for Billboard 's latest cover story

next bad bunny tour 2023

After playing for hundreds of thousands of fans in just a few months and releasing Un Verano Sin Ti to all-around acclaim this year, Bad Bunny is ready for some well-deserved rest in 2023.

The music superstar, 28, revealed to Billboard in their latest cover story that he'll be "taking a break" in 2023 to focus on himself.

"2023 is for me, for my physical health, my emotional health to breathe, enjoy my achievements," Benito explained. "We're going to celebrate. Let's go here, let's go there, let's go on the boat. I have a couple of sporadic commitments, and I'll go to the studio, but there's no pressure. Remember yourself, cabrón. You've worked your ass off."

For Billboard 's No. 1's issue, Bunny spoke about his monstrous year — including his handful of touring milestones. Specifically, the Puerto Rican musician explained what it meant to see the El Último Tour del Mundo tour hit larger venues in comparison to his last time on the road, pointing out the "flip" that he saw in his career at that time.

"My career has had many flips, many points of inflection where I'm here, and then suddenly I'm there. So that tour was very, very cabrona , very euphoric," he said. "When I went to the stadiums, my only point of reference was the stadium shows in Puerto Rico [in December 2021]. Those two shows in Puerto Rico were hard, hard, hard. I aged three years, I swear. I enjoyed it in the end, but there was a lot of pressure."

"And I thought this tour would be the same, but from the very first show in Orlando, it has been so much fun," Bunny continued. "I generally don't go out much, but on this tour — both in the U.S. and here — I've spent time with the crew and the dancers, we've gone out to dinner, it has been more chill. I've tried to really enjoy the moment."

While his set list is over 40 songs long when he tours the world, the musician admits that it could be "longer" given his string of recent hits. "There's a lot of songs I don't perform, like the songs from El Último Tour . But yeah, in terms of vocals, it's me performing because I don't have backup singers," he said. "The show is long because the hits pile up. I sing practically the entire Un Verano Sin Ti . I just get up there, I go out to have fun, and if the audience is with me, I could sing all night. Real."

Among his numerous milestones in 2022, perhaps Bunny's greatest are his gargantuan streaming numbers. The charting giant was the most-streamed global artist on Spotify this year — for the third year in a row, at that. With more than 18.5 billion streams in 2022, largely thanks to his No. 1 LP Un Verano Sin Ti (also the most-streamed global album), Bunny doubled his streams from the year prior.

Taylor Swift trailed closely behind, with Drake coming in third place for most-streamed artists globally, and first for most-streamed artists in the United States.

Speaking with to Billboard , Benito also opened up about his "spontaneous" experience collaborating with Drizzy, four years after the pair linked up for 2018 cut " MÍA ." As he explained, working with a fellow superstar like Drake isn't entirely different from working with anyone else.

"For me, a collaboration is almost like, I don't want to sound like an a–hole, but it's almost like having sex with someone," Bunny said. "Making a song is a serious matter. You're saying things, and you're with someone, and it's not going to go away. It's there forever; it's not like pressing "delete" if you change your mind. At the end of the day, collaborating with Drake, or whoever, is as special as a collab with Buscabulla, or Chencho, or Rauw [Alejandro], or Jhayco. Each has a specific moment and a specific feeling."

In October 2023, Bad Bunny dropped his fifth studio album “nadie sabe lo que va a pasar mañana,” which he claims is a nod to his trap roots and for the day-one fans.

Thing is, this record is packed with so many catchy beats and hooky choruses that it should be easily accessible to listeners both new and old.

Over 22 tracks, the rapper delivers 81 minutes of pulsing club tracks meant to get crowds hyped like the hypnotic “HIBIKI,” the dreamy “FINA” and the alternately spacey and throbbing “CYBERTRUCK.”

For our money though, the standout is the lush throwback “Monaco” with its cinematic score under Bad Bunny’s impeccable flow (plus, it doesn’t hurt that the  music video  features Al Pacino).

If you want to hear the already very popular record in its entirety, you can stream “nadie sabe lo que va a pasar mañana”  here .

Artists featured on the album include Arcángel, Bryant Meyers, Feid, La Paciencia, Mag, Mora, Ñengo Flow, Tainy, and Young Miko.

The 30-year-old Vega Baja native (whose real name is Benito Antonio Martínez Ocasio) was first spotted leaving a restaurant with Jenner, 27, by TMZ in February 2023.

Three months later, they made their first official public appearance at a Lakers-Warriors NBA playoff game on May 12.

“I know something is going to come out. I know [people are] going to say something. People know everything about me, so what’s left for me to protect? My private life, my personal life,” Bad Bunny told Rolling Stone in an interview published in June.

In late September, the pair appeared in a Gucci Valigeria luggage  ad  which fans have speculated is their official couple announcement.

On Dec. 17, the two officially split. Two weeks later, they were seen celebrating New Years together near Barbados with good friends but confirmed they are “not back together.”

Bad Bunny Announces North American Tour

next bad bunny tour 2023

He’s definitely back! Puerto Rican rapper Bad Bunny has released his fifth studio album, “Nadie Sabe Lo Que Va a Pasar Mañana,” which translates to “No One Knows What Will Happen Tomorrow.” The drop came before his SNL appearance , in which he both hosted and performed and before he announced his upcoming North American Tour.

Nadie Sabe Lo Que Va a Pasar Mañana

The album was released on October 13th, 2023, and is the follow-up to his record-breaking album “Un Verano Sin Ti.” With a total of 22 songs, it features production from Tainy, Mag, and La Paciencia, and appearances from Arcángel, Bryant Myers, De la Ghetto, Eladio Carrión, Young Miko, and more.

The tracklist includes popular singles such as “Where She Goes” and “Un Preview,” distinct from the 22 tracks, all humorously named “Fuego,” that Bad Bunny playfully teased a week prior to the album’s launch. Complementing the release, he also unveiled distinct visualizers for each track, showcasing a figure riding a horse against various captivating backgrounds.

And if that wasn’t enough, Bad Bunny has also collaborated with Al Pacino on a fresh music video for the track “Monaco,” which includes appearances by the designer and Safdie Brothers associate Wayne Diamond, alongside actor Keith William Richards.

Critics and fans have praised the album for its innovative sound and lyrics. Bad Bunny has experimented with new sounds while recording the album in Puerto Rico and Los Angeles and has been inspired by music from the 70s across genres in both Spanish and English. In a recent interview with Vanity Fair, he hinted at opening up about his personal life in his music.

“I’m not sure if this is going to shape my music, generally, or just one song. Now more than ever, I feel more confident in talking about what I think, what I feel, and how I am living through my music,” he said.

Bad Bunny Tour 2024

Bad Bunny has also announced his “Most Wanted” North American tour, which will feature songs from his new album. The tour will kick off in Salt Lake City, Utah, on February 21st, 2024, with stops in cities such as Las Vegas, Seattle, Chicago, Detroit, New York, Philadelphia, Austin, Atlanta, and more before wrapping up with a three-night run in Miami on May 26th. The tour is expected to be one of the most sought-after concert events of the year.

Benito used his Instagram to post a short Western-themed teaser revealing the details of his highly anticipated Most Wanted Tour. “Pa’ que vayan los que son,” he wrote alongside the trailer, depicting the artist’s arrival at a saloon on horseback, where he comes across several “Most Wanted” posters featuring his face.

Fans of Bad Bunny were asked to register ahead of tickets going on sale for the “Most Wanted” tour to help block bots and scalpers, reduce resale, and get more tickets directly into the hands of real people who want to attend the show. VIP packages and experiences will also be available for fans to take their concert experience to the next level. Packages vary but include premium tickets, invitations to the pre-show Bad Bunny VIP Lounge Experience, exclusive gift items & more.

Things To Do

Entertainment | bad bunny makes up for long absence with little caesars arena show.

Detroit has largely missed out on Bad Bunny’s global ascendance during the past few years.

Before his pyrotechnic spectacle on Saturday night, April 6, at Little Caesars Arena, the Puerto Rican singer and rapper had performed just one before in the metro area — a September 2018 concert at the nearby Masonic Temple during his first full U.S. Tour. Since then the man born Benito Ocasio has become a worldwide force, sending his last three Spanish language albums to the top of the Billboard 200 and scoring No. 1 hits on the Billboard Hot 100 — all firsts. He’s the first Spanish language artist to be Spotify’s most streamed artist of the year, has acting credits (“Bullet Train,” “Cassandro”) and is a WWE champion.

And just two years ago he was selling out stadiums on what was correctly called the World’s Hottest Tour.

So it was a triumphant Bad Bunny who arrived at Little Caesars on Saturday, with more music, more production and more mania to offer than his last time through town. The 14,000 or so (very expensive) tickets sold out in minutes, drawing fans from around to Midwest for what was undeniably an Event of the first magnitude.

The bearded Bad Bunny delivered on any lofty expectations, too, with an artful and well thought-out — if occasionally padded — two-hour and 20-minute carnival worthy of his commercial stature. It featured three dozen or so of his songs, nearly half from his 2023 album “Nadie Sabe Lo Que Va a Pasar Manana” but with plenty of drops into its predecessors, including scream-inducing favorites such as “Seda,” “Diles,” “Dakiti,” “Monaco” and more.

There was nary a word of English, but there didn’t have to be; this crowd was singing along with great volume, and a moving, discernible pride that one of the world’s biggest pop stars looked and talked (or sang) like them. (He also gave a shout-out to classical singing great Andrea Bocelli, who’s performing at LCA on Sunday, April 14.)

The Most Wanted Tour staging will be one they’ll talk about for years to come, too. Bad Bunny — joined at times by up to 19 dancers, — performed on two semi-circular stages positioned at opposite ends of the arena floor, as well as on a walkway hanging above the crowd, which pivoted to bring him closer to those sitting on the side. There were liberal offerings of pyrotechnics, fire, lasers and smoke jets, while boot-shaped necklaces given to fans as they entered lit up the arena with sequenced triggered patterns.

Bad Bunny performs Saturday night, April 6, at Little Caesars Arena (Photo by Scott Legato/313 Presents)

The show opened with a stately 10-minute overture from a small orchestra (about two dozen musicians) on one of the stages, which also accompanied Bad Bunny — in a layered black, hooded outfit — during the opening “Nadie Sabe.” The energy was high throughout the night as he worked through clubby thumpers, trap-style rap pieces and an occasional romantic ballad, , many of them performed to pre-recorded instrumental tracks and present in short, medley-style versions which kept things moving in a nimble fashion.

Except when it didn’t. Like many of his pop and particularly rap colleagues, Bad Bunny took time during the show to pause and milk more cheers — sometimes to an embarrassing degree that unnecessarily stalled the shows’ ferocious momentum. It’s a well-worn schtick, which is kind of the point; Bad Bunny seems positioned to a performer who can rise above that particular conceit.

The concert’s big gimmick was also a bit of anti-climactic, too. Following a video in which a masked Bad Bunny rode a horse across a long, barren field, he emerged at one end of the arena in the same mask, in his second outfit of the night (a blue-fringed suit) — and on a horse. But it was a brief ride to the stage, a quick dismount and into the next song, a kind of “meh” moment in a show otherwise filled with spectacular ones.

Those were speed bumps on an otherwise smooth ride, however, and by the time Bad Bunny and his dancers pounded through the concluding “Where She Goes,” with every special effect popping, everybody was hopping — and hoping that it won’t take another six years to get him back in these parts.

Justin Bieber Releasing New Song with Lyric 'Lost Myself at a Diddy Party'?

About this rating

In April 2024, rumors circulated on social media platforms like TikTok and YouTube suggesting that Justin Bieber would release a new song containing the lyric, "Lost myself at a Diddy party," about rapper and producer Sean "Diddy" Combs. The posts included audio that purported to be Bieber singing.

The lyrics of the song narrate an experience at a party hosted by Diddy, expressing Bieber's disillusionment with fame and fortune. The opening verse contains the following lyrics:

"Lost myself at a Diddy party, didn't know that's how it go, I was in it for a new Ferrari, but it cost me way more than my soul, wasn't worth all the fortune and fame."

However, there was no concrete evidence to substantiate the existence of this song, including no official confirmation from credible sources or news outlets. Many online commenters called it out as a song generated by artificial intelligence.

Snopes reached out to Bieber's management and record labels for comment, but received no immediate reply. We will update this story if they respond.

Famously discovered at age 13 by talent manager Scooter Braun, Bieber was quickly taken under the wing of R&B singer Usher. Bieber's relationship with Diddy began when the young star was reportedly 15 , with Diddy acting as his mentor and the two spending time in the recording studio together. Diddy surprised fans with Bieber's inclusion on his 2023 studio release, "The Love Album: Off the Grid," with Bieber providing guest vocals on the track "Moments."

In late 2023 and early 2024, Diddy faced a string of controversies involving multiple lawsuits, and federal agents and other law enforcement officers searched two of his properties on March 25, 2024, reportedly as part of  a sex-trafficking investigation .

Bieber's recent history

In recent years, Bieber   has faced health challenges, including his diagnosis of temporary facial paralysis caused by  Ramsay Hunt syndrome in June 2022, which led to the postponement and eventual cancellation of his "Justice World Tour"  in September 2022.

Per TMZ , Bieber was offered the headlining slot at the Coachella Festival in 2023 but declined it to focus on recording his seventh studio album, which was said to   include collaborations with artists including Ed Sheeran, according to news reports . No official release date had been announced for this album as of this writing.

Following the release of his sixth studio album, "Justice," in March 2021, Bieber's only announcement on his official website regarding new music was his song with rapper Don Toliver, "Holiday," released April 2022.

Bieber interviewed his wife, model and Rhode Skin founder Hailey Bieber, for Vogue Australia  in February 2023. Hinting at her husband's impending new music, Hailey said, "The new song that you just recorded, I can't stop listening to right now. Nobody knows what that is yet." However, no additional details were provided on any new songs.

While speculation regarding an alleged new Bieber song containing the lyric "Lost myself at a Diddy party" has persisted on social media, the lack of announcement or confirmation of release date on his official website or social media leads us to categorize this claim as "Unproven." Until Bieber or his representatives address the matter, the authenticity of the alleged track remains in question.

Over 50 Tampa Bay concerts to see during summer 2024

  • Gabrielle Calise Times staff

The weather isn’t the only thing heating up around Tampa Bay.

Not only is Megan Thee Stallion bringing her “Hot Girl Summer Tour” to town — there’s a sizzling slate of concerts for fans of just about every music genre.

Expect to see some fun pairings, from longtime peers (Missy Elliott with Busta Rhymes) to some wild mashups (Red Hot Chili Peppers and...Ice Cube?). Sting, who just swung through Tampa with Billy Joel , will even return two more times to rock out with the Florida Orchestra.

Here are over 50 local shows we’re excited about.

Living legends

Diana Ross: The legendary Motown singer will bring solo hits and favorite songs from the Supremes to the BayCare Sound in Clearwater on Thursday, May 9.

Janet Jackson: The “Together Again” tour comes to MidFlorida Credit Union Ampitheatre in Tampa on Tuesday, July 16.

Sting and the Florida Orchestra : The “Englishman in New York” join conductor Michael Francis and the Florida Orchestra for two intimate benefit concerts. Thursday, May 9 and Friday, May 10 at the Mahaffey Theater in St. Petersburg.

Latin stars

The Kid LAROI: Charlton Howard won’t even be 21 yet when he comes to Tampa this summer. Find the rising rap star at the Yuengling Center with glaive and Chase Shaker on Sunday, June 9.

Styx and Foreigner: Foreigner already embarked on a farewell run in 2023, but a tour with Styx seems like a good reason to return to Tampa. Catch the “Renegades & Juke Box Heroes Tour” on Saturday, July 20, at MidFlorida Credit Union Amphitheatre.

Chicago and Earth, Wind and Fire: The “Heart & Soul 2024 Tour” features two bands that have been going since the late 1960s — and two MidFlorida Credit Union Amphitheatre shows. Thursday, Aug. 15 and Friday, Aug. 16.

Barbie the Movie: In Concert : You may have seen Margot Robbie at the movie theater. But have you watched the film with an all-women, majority women-of-color orchestra playing the soundtrack live? The hybrid movie-concert experience hits the MidFlorida Credit Union Ampitheatre on Tuesday, July 2.
