How To Watch Made in Himmerland Live Stream 2023

Nacho Elivira takes a one-shot lead over Robert MacIntyre into the final round. His lead had been three shots walking off the famous 16th hole where Ramsey had hit over the green and could only make bogey to his playing partner’s birdie. But Elvira found water off the tee on 18 and made a double bogey for a round of 66, matching MacIntyre’s round score. Richie Ramsey went a shot better, with a 65, despite bogeying the final hole, and lies in third spot.

Made in Himmerland, at that stage known as Made In Denmark, was first played in 2014. It was the first DP World Tour event to be held in the country since the 2003 Nordic Open at Simons Golf Club in Copenhagen.

With the exception of the 2018 edition (which was held at Silkeborg Ry Golf Club in Aarhus) the venue has always been Himmerland in Farsø and, on the resumption of the tournament after Covid, the name was changed to Made In Himmerland.

The event made DP World Tour history in 2015 when the par-3 16th hole, with its green cut as a ledge into Himmerland Hill, measured just 79 yards. This made it the shortest hole in European Tour history.

The hole provides great viewing from the often packed hillside, with the natural amphitheatre having space for around 3,000 spectators. In 2015 after birdieing this hole, Andreas Harto called his girlfriend, Louise De Fries, down from the crowd, and went down on one knee and produced a ring. The crowd cheered when she accepted his marriage proposal.

The course itself, a par 70, is not long in terms of modern men’s professional golf, at 6,646 yards (6,078m). Unsurprisingly, scoring tends to be low, with the winning total in each of the last two years being 21 under par.

The defending champion is England's Oliver Wilson . His one-shot victory was his second win on the DP World Tour, coming eight years after his first. Having finished joint runner up at The Belfry last week, he starts among the favourites.

T he 2024 ISPS Handa Championship purse is $2.25 million, with the winner's share at $382,500 -- the standard 17 percent payout according to the European Tour's prize money distribution chart .

The 2024 ISPS Handa Championship field is headed by Matthieu Pavon, Dylan Frittelli and Keita Nakajima, as well as more of the world's best players.

The ISPS Handa Championship is the 18th event of the year on the 2024 European Tour schedule .

The event is played at Taiheiyo Club's Gotemba Course in Gotemba, Japan.

What else is on the line: Race to Dubai points, OWGR points, exemptions

Beyond money, there are important points, perks and benefits on the line for the field -- in particular, the tournament winner.

The winner gets approximately 20.7 Official World Golf Ranking points, with the points available based on field strength.

Winning comes with other big benefits, including a two-plus season exemption on the European Tour, as well berths into other key events.

There are a total of 3,000 Race to Dubai points on offer to the full field.

The points on offer are related to the purse of the tournament as quoted in United States dollars (USD).

The winner gets 500 DP World Tour points, with the player holding the most season-long Race to Dubai points at the end of the tournament winning the Race to Dubai and its first-place prize.

The top eight players in the Race to Dubai standings after the season will be paid from the Race to Dubai bonus pool of $6 million.

The competition takes place from April 25th to 28th at the Taiheiyo Club (Gotemba Course) in Gotemba, with Matteo Manassero, Guido Migliozzi, Edoardo Molinari, Lorenzo Scalise, Andrea Pavan, Francesco Laporta, Renato Paratore, and Filippo Celli competing.

In the high-quality field, five winners from 2024 will aim to emerge as protagonists, including Matteo Manassero, fresh off his fifth-place finish at the Indian Open, the second of the season, along with his victory at the Jonsson Wolkwear Open in March and his 12th position in the merit rankings.

Joining him are South African Dylan Frittelli, Swedes Jordan Gumberg and Jesper Svensson, and Japan's Keita Nakajima, also a winner in India. Numerous competitors have the potential to challenge them, including Spaniards such as Pablo Larrazabal and Adrian Otaegui, German Yannik Paul, Scotsman Ewen Ferguson, Frenchmen Antoine Rozner and Matthieu Pavon, Englishman Jordan Smith, South Africans Christiaan Bezuidenhout and Zander Lombard, and Chinese players Haotong Li and Ashun Wu.

The Japanese players, numerous and competitive, include some of the best from the Japan Golf Tour, such as Takumi Kanaya, money list leader, Taihei Sato (no. 3), Taisei Shimizu (no. 4), Tomayo Ikemura (no. 6), Yuto Katsuragawa (winner of the tournament in 2022), and Yuta Sugiura (no.

7 tied), along with other well-known names like Masahiro Kawamura, Hiroshi Iwata, and Ryo Ishikawa, with 18 wins in Japan and PGA Tour experience. The reigning champion, Australian Lucas Herbert, is absent, now part of the LIV Golf.

Among other Italian players, Lorenzo Scalise and Francesco Laporta have had rewarding results in the last five consecutive events, while Edoardo Molinari has been in prize money in the last three. Guido Migliozzi, Andrea Pavan, and Filippo Celli missed the cut after 36 holes in India.

Renato Paratore, who needs to regain form, missed the cut in the last four appearances but secured a second-place finish in the South African Open. The course, designed in 1977 and revamped in 2018 by Rees Jones with consultation from champion Hideki Matsuyama, is the flagship of the 18 courses at the Taiheiyo Club and hosted the World Cup in 2001.

The prize money is $2,250,000 with a winner's prize of $382,500. The tournament will be broadcast on Sky Sport Golf and streamed on NOW with the following schedule: Thursday, April 25th, and Friday, April 26th, from 5:00 a.m.

The Biggest Deepfake Porn Website Is Now Blocked in the UK

Two of the biggest deepfake pornography websites have now started blocking people trying to access them from the United Kingdom. The move comes days after the UK government announced plans for a new law that will make creating nonconsensual deepfakes a criminal offense.

Nonconsensual deepfake pornography websites and apps that “strip” clothes off of photos have been growing at an alarming rate —causing untold harm to the thousands of women they are used to target.

Clare McGlynn, a professor of law at Durham University, says the move is a “hugely significant moment” in the fight against deepfake abuse. “This ends the easy access and the normalization of deepfake sexual abuse material,” McGlynn tells WIRED.

Since deepfake technology first emerged in December 2017, it has consistently been used to create nonconsensual sexual images of women—swapping their faces into pornographic videos or allowing new “nude” images to be generated. As the technology has improved and become easier to access, hundreds of websites and apps have been created. Most recently, schoolchildren have been caught creating nudes of classmates .

The blocks on the deepfake websites in the UK were first spotted today, with two of the most prominent services displaying notices on their landing pages that they are no longer accessible to people visiting from the country. WIRED is not naming the two websites due to their enabling of abuse.

One of the websites with the restriction in place is the biggest deepfake pornography website existing today. Its homepage, when visiting from the UK, displays a message saying access is denied. “Due to laws or (upcoming) legislation in your country or state, we are unfortunately obligated to deny you access to this website,” the message says. It also shows the visitor’s IP address and country.

The other website, which also has an app, displays a similar message. “Access to the service in your country is blocked,” it says, before hinting there may be ways to get around the geographic restriction. The websites do not appear to have any restrictions in place when visiting from the United States, although may also be restricted in other countries.

It is not immediately clear why the sites have introduced the location blocks or whether they have done so in response to any legal orders or notices. Nor is it clear whether the blocks are temporary. Messages sent to the websites through email addresses and contact forms went unanswered. The creators of the websites have not posted any public messages on the websites or their social media channels about the blocks.

Ofcom, the UK’s communications regulator, has the power to persue action against harmful websites under the UK’s controversial sweeping online safety laws that came into force last year. However, these powers are not yet fully operational, and Ofcom is still consulting on them.

It’s likely the restrictions may significantly limit the amount of people in the UK seeking out or trying to create deepfake sexual abuse content. Data from Similarweb, a digital intelligence company, shows the biggest of the two websites had 12 million global visitors last month, while the other website had 4 million visitors. In the UK, they had around 500,000 and 50,000 visitors, respectively.

This week, politicians in the UK announced plans for a law that criminalizes the creation of nonconsensual deepfakes. Under the law, which is yet to be passed, people could face an unlimited fine if they create deepfakes to “cause alarm, humiliation, or distress to the victim.” This builds on previous provisions that make it illegal for people in the UK to share sexualized deepfakes .

“While it’s unclear if these platforms have been ordered to block UK access or have done so proactively due to the recent criminalization, it shows legislation can make a meaningful difference in removing the legal ambiguity that many deepfake pornography platforms use as cover for the clear ethical harms they cause,” Henry Ajder, an AI and deepfake expert, tells WIRED. Ajder adds that search engines and hosting providers around the world should be doing more to limit the spread and creation of harmful deepfakes.

While the two websites can still be accessed in the UK using a VPN, the restrictions are a sign that constant pressure—from lawmakers, tech companies, and campaigners—can make deepfake porn harder to access and create. “Of course, people will be able to use VPN to access these websites and apps, but that introduces friction,” Durham University’s McGlynn says. “It introduces a message that there’s something wrong and harmful about this material such that you have to use a VPN to access it.”

“Hopefully,” McGlynn adds, “this can show other governments around the world that if we take steps, we could actually reduce the prevalence [of] and easy access to deepfake sexual abuse material.”
