The cruise company offer a number of shorter stay holidays that give people a taste of life on board. Fred. Olsen said it gives people the chance to "experience the friendliness of our on board teams".

The Scenic Islands & Dramatic Coastlines of Scotland cruise sets sail from Liverpool on May 22, 2026, and prices start at £849 for five nights, making it around £169 per night. Travellers can board the flagship cruise liner the Bolette to take a glimpse at the dramatic scenery of Scotland from a unique viewpoint.

With 690 cabins, the Bolette can carry 1,338 guests and 657 crew members. The Bolette is the ship for a number of cruises including the two night mini cruise for £349 and the cruise to the volcanic land of fire and ice also from Liverpool.
