The Bravery (formed in 2003) is an American post-punk dance rock band, strongly influenced both the new wave of the 1980s, hailing from New York City, New York, U.S.

Having been classmates at Vassar College in Poughkeepsie, New York, frontman Sam Endicott and keyboardist soon began performing in local bars. Upon graduation the pair moved to New York City and found guitarist Michael Zakarin and bassist Mike Hindert through advertising in a local paper. Drummer Anthony Burulcich later joined after graduating from the Berklee College of Music in Boston, Massachusetts. The Bravery made their debut live performance at the Stinger Club in Brookyn, which they promoted with posters plastered across Manhattan and Brooklyn as well as demo tape featuring the tracks “An Honest Mistake”, “No Brakes”, and “Public Service Announcement”.

The band subsequently earned residency at the Lower East Side club Arlene’s Grocery, where the group played a series of sold-out shows. The single “Alter Ego” later received significant airplay on San Francisco’s Live 105 and the UK’s BBC Radio 1, after which The Bravery signed with Island Def Jam in 2004. Later in 2004 the group moved to London, England and took up residency in the Soho club The Metro Club, after which the band embarked on a European tour, opening for the likes of the Yeah Yeah Yeahs and Razorlight.

The Bravery’s self-titled debut album arrived in 2005 earning strong reviews from the critical press, aided by the singles “An Honest Mistake”, “Fearless”, and “Unconditional”. The album also proved popular with listeners as the album peaked at No.18 on the Billboard 200, and No. 5 on the UK Albums Chart. In support of the release The Bravery played a host of shows across the world including a support slot opening for Duran Duran and U2, Glastonbury Festival, SXSW, and Lallapalooza.

The full-length “The Sun and the Moon” followed in 2007 led by the single “Time Won’t Let Me Go”. Taking a step back from the synth-heavy sound of its predecessor, the album earned mixed reviews despite the No. 4 US Modern Rock single “Believe”. Two years later The Bravery’s third full-length album appeared with production from notable Santigold and Shakira producer John Hill. The album received a warm response from the critical press and spawned the singles “Slow Poison” and “I Am Your Skin”.

The Bravery were an American band formed in New York City in 2003 that consists of Sam Endicott, Michael Zakarin, John Conway, Mike Hindert and Anthony Burulcich. They put out three albums of their own and also remixed one of their previous ones.

Frontman-songwriter Sam Endicott and keyboardist John Conway come out to the stage first and the lights shine upon them. The Bravery’s first single "An Honest Mistake" is their first song that they announce their going to play for us. Im excited to see them at all but even more so that they are playing that song for the start of their set.

The guitar is roaring as Mike plucks away and jams. Sam starts to sing and throws out his wonderful voice for us all to hear in the crowd. Everyone is going wild and enjoying the noise and the mood that is presented. Im having an awesome time and await the next song.

I look around the stadium and everyone has their hands up in a terrific salute to the band as they play and entertain. This show is so amazing live in person and you are not going to be sorry if you decide to go and see it yourself someday.

Taylor Swift's Eras Tour: All the U.S. and international dates and opening acts

Taylor Swift opened the Eras Tour at State Farm Stadium in Glendale, Arizona — which rebranded itself as "Swift Cit y" for the March 17 and 18 concerts — with a triumphant return to live performance as the first act in the history of that venue to sell out two nights on the same tour.

By that point, she'd already broken the all-time record for most concert tickets sold by an artist in a single day and passed Madonna's Sticky & Sweet Tour as the highest-grossing tour in history by a female artist.

And Swift rose to the occasion , leading her band through a marathon 44-song set that lasted more than three hours while delivering on her promise of "a journey through all of my musical eras."

Coldplay Pledges to Lower Carbon Emissions on 2022 Tour

On Thursday (Oct. 14), Coldplay announced the dates for its 2022 global tour in support of the upcoming album 'Music of the Spheres.'

Coldplay announced the dates for an expansive 2022 world tour in support of the group’s upcoming Max Martin-produced album, Music of the Spheres  on Thursday morning (Oct. 14). The stadium outing is slated to kick off on March 18 with the band’s first-ever show in Costa Rica, at the Estadio Nacional, before moving on to the Dominican Republic and Mexico and then touching down in Levi’s Stadium in Santa Clara, California on April 23 for a U.S. run slated to last through a June 14 gig at Raymond James Stadium in Tampa.

H.E.R. is on board to support the majority of the dates, with London Grammar booked to open a July 10 show in Berlin and an Aug. 16 gig at Wembley Stadium in London. Tickets for the U.S. dates will go on sale to the general public on Oct. 22 at 10 a.m. local time here , with a release teasing that more dates will be announced soon.

Ed Sheeran Joins Coldplay to Perform 'Fix You' & 'Shape of You' at London Album Party

In an effort to make the tour as sustainable as possible, the band announced that all the shows will be powered by 100% renewable energy, with pledges to cut tour emissions by 50% from the group’s 2016-17 world tour and plant one tree for every ticket sold. According to a release, each venue will be equipped with solar installations and other renewable power sources including waste cooking oil and a kinetic stadium floor with kinetic bikes powered by fans that will store energy in the first-ever mobile, rechargeable show battery.

Coldplay are also encouraging fans to use low-carbon transport to and from shows through the official tour app, rewarding those who do with a discount at the venues, in addition to making sure that all merch is sustainably and ethically sourced. There will also be free drinking water and efforts made to eliminate plastic bottles at every venue; click here to see the full list of sustainability goals.

In a statement, the band said, “Playing live and finding connection with people is ultimately why we exist as a band. We’ve been planning this tour for years, and we’re super excited to play songs from across our whole time together.At the same time, we’re very conscious that the planet is facing a climate crisis. So we’ve spent the last two years consulting with environmental experts to make this tour as sustainable as possible, and, just as importantly, to harness the tour’s potential to push things forward. We won’t get everything right, but we’re committed to doing everything we can and sharing what we learn. It’s a work in progress and we’re really grateful for the help we’ve had so far. If you’d like to come to a show and sing with us, we’re so excited to see you.”

Both bands will be celebrating the 20th anniversary of their debut albums by playing them in full. Get excited people, it's gonna be special and we can't wait to celebrate with you all."

"Europe, we didn’t forget about you. Excited to bring The Poisoned Ascendancy Tour to you next Feb. We’re also happy to be bringing Orbit Culture along for the ride. Your local pre-sales will start on April 24th, with a general sale at 10am CET next Friday!"
