The Nepal Hiking Team adopts stringent safety measures for each trekker. Our leading trek guides are highly qualified, have undergone extensive First Aid training, and they’ll be on the lookout for you during the trek. The trek guide team also carries First Aid kits, medications, oximeters, oxygen cylinders, rescue equipment, etc. In emergencies, they will quickly assess the situation and decide whether to evacuate you immediately or arrange to take you to a lower level. 

How does the Nepal Hiking Team help trekkers with acclimatization?

The trekking itineraries have in-built acclimatization processes so that you can acclimate during the rest days. The lead guides are highly trained and will monitor you to gain acclimatization gradually. What should my travel insurance cover?

Your travel insurance is mandatory, as you need to be prepared for any risks when trekking to high altitudes. So, ensure it covers emergencies depending on your itinerary. If you need to be evacuated, your travel insurance must have provision for a chartered helicopter. Accordingly, we will make arrangements to be in touch with them. If your flight gets canceled or delayed, your insurance must also cover these costs.

I don’t even know where to start. I feel so overwhelmed and my heart is so full right now. Alpine Ramble is an amazing company and I cannot recommend them enough. I did the 10 day Gokyo Ri Trek. I am so grateful to my “mountain Dad”, guide Ram, who made me feel extremely safe and welcome as a female solo traveller. Tale of Three Cities (Kathmandu & Nagarkot Tour)

Our tour was incredibly enjoyable, informative and memorable!!! It gave us a great first taste of the beautiful country of Nepal with our tour guide Navaraj, with hopes of returning in the future for a longer, more complete exploration. We were lucky that my wife and I were the only participants in this edition of the Tale of Three Cities Tour, so Navaraj was able to tailor the tour more to our interests. He did a great job of not only showing us the highlights in and around Kathmandu but he also gave us real life exposure of the Nepalese people and their culture. With Navaraj's guidance, we also had enjoyable experiences sampling foods that are typical of the region. Since there were only the two of us, Navaraj was always ready to answer our many questions and gave us incites into the area, sites visited, Nepalese culture and religions. We would highly recommend Navaraj and Tour Radar to anyone interested in getting an intimate and thorough introduction to Nepal.

I recently had the incredible opportunity to embark on a 12-day Everest Base Camp Trek with Sherpa Expedition, and it was truly a once-in-a-lifetime experience that exceeded all my expectations. From the moment I contacted them to inquire about the trek to the moment I said goodbye to my guide and porter at the end of the journey, Sherpa Expedition provided exceptional service and support every step of the way. The team at Sherpa Expedition was professional, knowledgeable, and passionate about ensuring that my trek was not only safe but also enjoyable. Our guide was experienced and had an in-depth understanding of the local culture, history, and geography of the region, which added so much depth to the trek. He was also very attentive to our needs, constantly checking in on our well-being and making sure we were acclimatizing properly to the high altitudes. The itinerary for the trek was well-planned and allowed us to acclimatize gradually as we made our way to Everest Base Camp. An Everest View Trek 9 Days

I can't believe that just a few short days ago I was strolling the streets of Kathmandu after having trekked in the Himalayas. My host Shailesh was very welcoming and attentive. His brother Na Win expertly guided me through the "hills" on the Everest view trail which leads to the Everest base camp. Kumar carried this 65yo couch potato's 8kg pack like it was a feather. He is more used to 130kg! Na Win and Kumar patiently waited as I crawled up the trail from Lukla, through Phakding, Namche Bazar to Tengboche and back. Uphill all the way it seemed! I think Nepal actually means "uphill."

My trek to Annapurna Base Camp was an experience of a lifetime thanks to the amazing services and support provided by Mr Santosh, Mr Shraban and the team at The Nepal Trekking Company. Everything was well organised from the moment we arrived and all services provided met our expectations. ALL the people from the Nepal Trekking Company were friendly, caring and experienced, making everyday of our trek highly memorable. Now thinking of doing Everest base Camp with The Nepal Trekking Company.

First Class experience

We book a 2 week trekking holiday with Santosh Adhikari. We wanted a trip wich covered both the Everest region and the Annapurna regions. Together with Shraban Adhikari put together an absolutely amazing itinerary.

I can not recommend The Nepal Trekking Co. Enough. From the very beginning when booking and dealing with Santosh to arrange it all, Righ through to the end. Everything ran without any problems. A five star company.

My parents brother and I wanted to explore Nepal and so a trek going to Poon Hill. In 2016 I did the same trek through a company that was good, but not great. I was looking for a new agency. Through Google I found The Nepal Trekking Company. I enquired through the website and Santosh was very responsive. In no time we agreed about the schedule and (set) price. We set to meet in Kathmandu to further go trough the plan in detail. As my dad experienced luggage issues from Delhi Santosh and his collegue (and our guide) were super helpful, going to the airport and helping us to get our luggage.

A long hike through the mountains

We found The Nepal Trekking Company to be experienced, reasonably priced, and flexible. We came to them with very specific trekking plans that were more extensive than the average, and they worked with us to accommodate us with a guide who was familiar with the currently less-traveled trails (Jiri-Junebesi-Namche and Lukla-to-Phaplu) as well as the usual, highly-trafficked ‘Everest circuit’ route (Namche-Khumjung-Tengpoche-Chukkung-Gorak Shep-Gokyo) in our plans, and who was willing to spend the 40 days we’d scheduled.  We were very happy with our experience in Nepal and with this trekking company.
