Last month, it was revealed that Busted’s Charlie Simpson was ‘Rhino’ on the latest season of The Masked Singer .

The frontman made it to the final round of the hit UK show, where he ultimately was crowned the winner of the fourth season. Following his win, singer-songwriter James Arthur took to Twitter to respond to fans who believed it was him behind the disguise .

“Fuck me I can’t wait till everybody stops blowing my phone up every Saturday thinking I’m on telly singing dressed as a rhino,” he wrote. “@CharlieSimpson id know that voice anywhere… One of the best out there #maskedsinger now everyone piss off and leave me alone.”

He later tweeted again, adding: “Honoured to be compared to @CharlieSimpson by the way. It’s about time he got the recognition he deserves.”

Those who get tickets will also get to see Hanson perform on the night, best known for their hit song MMMBop. Busted took to Instagram to announce the tour, along with a video with Charlie, Matt and James speaking about the band's history.

The video starts with a VHS labelled 'Busted' being put into a TV. James said: "A decade is a long time, two decades is an even longer time." Charlie added: "I think Busted really broke the mould when we started."

James said: "We were writing songs that made us laugh, and the songs that made us laugh made other people laugh and feel good." Matt added: "Everything we did seemed to go really well, and then it was over."

The video also has footage from some of Busted's biggest performances. Describing the tour, Charlie said: "It's about celebrating what Busted meant to the fans and about us being able to go out and share that experience with them."

The tour isn't the end of the good news, the band will also release a 15-track album reworking all your favourite songs. The first single will be released April 14, a new version of Loser Kid featuring Simple Plan, aptly named Loser Kid 2.0.

Busted at Manchester’s AO Arena — tickets, support acts, stage times and more

They're back with pop-rock guitar riffs, irresistible Noughties nostalgia, plenty of jump kicks and we couldn't be happier.

Danny Jones

Guys, we don’t know if you heard but Busted are back on tour— or, more accurately, back on top and they’re bringing all the hits and unparalleled energy levels to Manchester’s AO Arena for a second night in less than a week.

The Busted boys played an initial sold-out show last weekend but had to add a second Manchester date due to the massive demand and although they received rave reviews the first time around, it might as well have been a warm-up for the main event which is already shaping up to be a belter.

With some seriously good supports, another soon-to-sell-out crowd of 20,000+ and the trio now having had a ridiculously good practice run only a few days ago, Busted at the AO Arena night two is going to be insane.

That being said, here’s everything you need to know about their 20th-anniversary tour date and greatest hits show.

Are there tickets left for Busted in Manchester?

If you’re still scrambling around in the hope of getting a last-minute ticket to hear the likes of ‘Year 3000’ and ‘What I Go to School For’ live, you’re in luck: there’s still a very small handful of tickets to be snapped up if you’re quick enough.

There are still a few seats floating about, ranging from £42.50 to £53.50 on Ticketmaster , and you can obviously splurge on the AO Arena’s Champagne Experiences in the Electric Lounge if you fancy it.

As always, if you end up missing out you can also check out resale sites like Twickets and TicketSwap, we advise steering clear from ticket touts at all costs.

Support acts

Busted have brought some truly great support acts along with them this time, including 90s and 2000s US pop favourites, Hanson — remember them?

As well as the equally iconic trio, Manc pop band New Hope Club are playing the home crowd too. Go on the local lads!

Throwing together some of the era’s most iconic pop-rock together with another three-piece from the modern generation, you’re getting a proper value-for-money and for-all-ages show this Saturday.

Busted stage times for AO Arena night two

As for when you can expect to see each of these fantastic acts take the stage, doors will open from 6pm and New Hope Club will be getting things started at 7:30pm.

Finishing a quickfire set just a few minutes before Hanson, the American throwback best-known for ‘MMMBop’ with be playing from 8pm until 8:30pm — and you might even have a surprise in store. We’re saying nothing else…

Then, at 9pm, the main event gets underway with Busted set to play up until curfew around 11pm and we literally can’t wait.

20th Anniversary and Greatest Hits setlist

Thanks to the ever-reliable Setlist.fm (and the fact we already had multiple members of The Manc office go along to the first night), we even know what they’ll be playing:

  • Air Hostess
  • Meet You There
  • You Said No
  • Everything I Knew
  • MMMBop (Hanson cover)
  • Sleeping With the Light On
  • What I Go to School For
  • Who’s David
  • Falling for You
  • Thunderbirds Are Go
  • She Wants to Be Me
  • Crashed the Wedding
  • Video (Brit Awards 2004)
  • Teenage Kicks (The Undertones cover)

All the hits — what more could you ask for? Oh yeah, and did we mention they’re number one!?

  • Take That ticket prices labelled ‘crazy’ as band add fifth Manchester date
  • Chase and Status announce UK tour with just three dates — and one of them is Manchester
  • The Chemical Brothers on new arena tour, forming in MCR and how the city influenced them

It’s going to be another great night at the Arena, we just know it, no matter where you end up.

And, seriously, if you can afford it don’t sleep on the VIP experience — it’s worth every penny and perfect for a special occasion.

We recently went along to try ourselves for this year’s Davis Cup and it was a brilliant experience.

Avril Lavigne Castlefield Bowl Manchester gig tickets

If you’re a kid born in the 90s or noughties, get your classic Converse on, an old-school tie out of the cupboard and oversized camo pants with an unnecessary amount of zips at the ready, because pop-rock queen Avril Lavigne is coming to Manchester’s Castlefield Bowl this week.

We hope you still have some kind of emo fringe going on and a spare spiked bracelet or two lying around somewhere, but don’t worry if not – even if Avril seemingly hasn’t aged, the rest of us have.

That’s right, the 39-year-old singer-songwriter who soundtracked the youth of so many Mancs, let alone millions of others around the world, is the very first act of Sounds of the City 2024 lineup and what a way to kick things off.

On the scene since 1999, the iconic ‘Sk8er Boi’, ‘Complicated’ and ‘Girlfriend’ singer is still up there with one of the most iconic voices on the planet and getting her to play her first-ever gig at Castlefield Bowl is some coup for the festival if you ask us. Here’s everything you need to know.

View this post on Instagram A post shared by Avril Lavigne (@avrillavigne)

Are there tickets left for Avril Lavigne at Castlefield Bowl?

Now, we’re sorry to break the news to you but Avril Lavigne ‘s Greatest Hits show at this year’s Sound of the City is a sold-out event. No surprises there, really.

However, when it comes to big gigs like these, there’s still the chance that you might find a few spares popping up here and there on legitimate resale sites like Twickets, Viagogo, TicketSwap etc.

That being said, we always advise due diligence when it comes to picking up second-hand tickets and we urge you to avoid ticket touts by all means necessary – they’re illegal and the only way to get rid of them as a problem in the gig industry is to ignore them altogether.

Who’s supporting Avril Lavigne in Manchester?

For those of you who are going along to the show, you’re in for another early to mid-2000s treat as the Canadian pop-rock princess is joined by her fellow compatriots Simple Plan as the main support act on this tour.

Made famous by tracks like ‘I’m Just A Kid’, ‘Perfect’, ‘Welcome To My Life’ and a version of the Scooby-Doo theme (oh yeah, that one), they’ve been going almost just as long as Avril and are still releasing new music all these years later, with their last album dropping in 2022.

They even did a collab with Natasha Bedingfield over a decade ago and if you’re wondering whether you’ve heard them before, you most definitely have but, like the Lavigne, it’ll be their first time at the Bowl so you best make it a special one.

View this post on Instagram A post shared by Simple Plan (@simpleplan)

Stage times for Sounds of the City 2024

Judging simply from last year’s times, doors to Sounds of the City typically open from 5:30pm onwards and the main event headliners don’t usually start until somewhere between 8:30-9pm.

We’ll confess there’s still a bit of guesswork since details are yet to be confirmed, but you can probably expect Simple Plan to take the stage from roughly 7-7:30pm – but once again, these are always subject to change.

Don’t worry either way, we’ll update you with the final stage times as and when we get them.

The Greatest Hits setlist

As for what the timeless singer-songwriter will be playing on the night, we have the good fortune of this being a tour in support of her recently released Greatest Hits album and having just watched her smash Glastonbury set this past weekend, so we think we have a pretty good idea of the running order.

The order might be tweaked slightly but here’s a guess and what she is likely to play based on the performance at Worthy Farm:

  • What the Hell
  • Complicated
  • Here’s to Never Growing Up
  • My Happy Ending
  • He Wasn’t
  • Don’t Tell Me
  • Losing Grip
  • I’m With You
  • Love It When You Hate Me

That being said, other favourite tracks like ‘He Wasn’t’, ‘Head Above Water’, ‘Rock N Roll’; ‘Keep Holding On’, ‘Smile’, ‘Bois Lie’; ‘When You’re Gone’ and ‘Nobody’s Home’ could be part of a full 20 track setlist.

Imagine how much a Yungblud guest appearance for ‘I’m A Mess’ and this version of her ultimate ballad (don’t even try to argue) would go off…

How to get there

Castlefield Bowl (M3 4JR) is on Rice Street just down Liverpool Road which cuts off the main Deansgate strip in the city centre and you can enter Manchester’s much-loved outdoor amphitheatre via Duke or Castle Street.

It’s just a short walk from Deansgate train station or the Deansgate-Castlefield tram stop, where you’ll find regular trams running all over Greater Manchester.

If you’re driving there, Great Northern Warehouse’s (M3 4EE) car park, as well as two other NCPs near Bridgewater Hall and on Quay Street in Spinninfingfields.

Up and coming bands in Manchester new music June 2024

Hello there (Obi-Wan Kenobi voice intended), we’re glad to see you’re back for the best new Manchester music that we’ve been funnelling directly into our ears this month.

It seems hard to believe that we’re already in June and six editions into this series; that’s half the year already gone and 30 bands already given a humble nod of approval – and now we have five more for you.

You’re forgiven if you’re new to this monthly round-up so long as you keep up to date with it regularly from now on, and why wouldn’t you? You get five Manchester bands or artists who are doing exciting things to keep us on the music map for nothing and with none of the work involved.

This is what we live for and there are few things we enjoy more than spotlighting rising talent.

Five new up-and-coming Manchester bands

Now, in a rare first for this series, we’re all bands this month but like pretty much anyone that comes out of Manchester’s music scene , they’re all absolutely belting.

Don’t worry, you’ve still got some variety in the genre to get stuck into, so let’s not dilly-dally any further, eh?

Let the tunes commence.

We’re starting off June’s list of Manchester bands we’ve been listening to with Pastel . Now, we have to make a disclaimer that they are now based in Swansea but these lads started with two cousins from 0161 and have gone on to support the likes of Liam Gallagher at Knebworth, The Charlatans and more.

Playing one of the biggest headline shows to date at Band on the Wall back in May – where they were supported by LG’s son’s band Villanelle – it felt like a bit of a watershed moment for the five-piece shoegaze-inspired band with deep roots here in 0161. They’re only young but we love a homecoming.

We’ve been listening to them for a while now but it feels like they’re starting to pick up some traction, so you best enjoy them as one of your best-kept secrets while you can. Our entry point was ‘Deeper Than Holy’, but their first song ‘She Waits For Me’ is great too and so is their new single ‘Dancing On A Pin’

2. Hot Milk

Second on this month’s list is the emo -fuelled power pop rock group Hot Milk who are also well and truly on the rise, having dropped their debut album A Call To The Void last year, headlined Manchester Academy and recently supported Foo Fighters at their Villa Park show in Birmingham.

Punchy, punky, proudly Manc and with a pair of powerful vocalists fronting the band, you get flavours of everything from Vukovi, Yungblud, Against The Current, Tonight Alive and plenty of other contemporaries. What’s more, you only have to hear the energy from the crowd on their Academy live album to hear how deep their fans already are – they’re going far this lot.

‘Candy Coated Lie$’ is their most streamed song on Spotify and it’s a guess a great place to start, but from there we’d point you in the direction of ‘OVER YOUR DEAD BODY’ for the tasty breakdown alone, and then try ‘AMPHETAMINE’ which features vocals from Julian Comeau of Loveless. Oof.

hot milk is an emotion. all of them. pic.twitter.com/Pz3dgvdpTp — HOT F’KIN MILK (@hotmilkhotmilk) June 8, 2024

3. Vulture Authority

From one modern punk-inspired band to another, Vulture Authority almost feels like Manchester’s semi-adopted answer to Idles meets Yard Act, Hello Cosmos and by way of Derby. Honestly, one minute you’ll get a taste of The Reytons, and the next you’re dancing like a prat to some modern ska riff. It’s chaotic.

We’ll confess that we came about these lads by way of them being a featured artist at the end of the Have A Word podcast after local comedian Jamie Hutchinson gave them a shout-out on an episode, but their unapologetic, simultaneously random and yet no-nonsense lyrics and instrumentation, twinned with lots of rolled Rs, Northern gruff and a familiar Manc whine caught our attention straight away.

In fact, the Gorton -based comic features in many of their songs and videos as you’ll see down below and while we’ll admit it’s very rough around the edges, it’s undeniably good fun. We’d suggest starting with ‘Torpedo Moscow’, ‘Working Class Jesus’ and then ‘Last Orders’, which you’ll find below.

4. Loose Articles

Oh yes, we’ve got even more punk for you and the fact they filmed the music video for their alternative Euro 2022 anthem ‘ Kick Like A Girl ‘ at the Peveril of the Peak, St George’s Park in Hulme and the ‘No Prawn Sandwiches’ sign outside the Man United pub in Trafford should be all the convincing you need.

Loose Articles are a Mancunian quartet with indie elements juggling the 9-5 like many up-and-coming bands but have now found themselves being championed by BBC Radio 6 Music, on Spotify’s ‘All New Punk’ playlist and also happen to have the best logo in the game: it’s the Stella Artois label…

There’s also another Foo Fighters connection here too, as the local bunch were the opening act for the rock gods’ first night at the Old Trafford earlier this month and got the energy going nice and early – not an easy job. ‘Up The Disco’, ‘Money for Booze’ and the new ‘Mr Manager’ are our recommendations.

View this post on Instagram A post shared by Alexis Panidis (@alexispanidiss)

5. Stanleys

And for the fifth and final name on our list of Manc bands this month, we’re technically heading out into Greater Manchester and the borough of Wigan to be specific, but we simply couldn’t wait any longer before bigging up the indie four-piece, Stanleys.

Flying the flag for the home of pie barms and the ‘Tics, these lads nail laid-back, melodic and catchy choruses, twinkly guitar picking and have already opened up for the likes of Inspiral Carpets, The Clause and The Libertines, not to mention endless festival slots this year.

They’re also one of six acts supporting fellow native Richard Ashcroft for his massive homecoming gigs at Robin Park next month. The new single ‘He Knows’ has some of the most soft and satisfying vocals to date, our first-ever listen was ‘Look Back’, but ‘A Better Life’ is understandably their biggest tune to date.

And we’re sad to inform you but that’s your lot for new, up-and-coming, exciting Manchester bands and artists this month; we hope it also goes without saying that we barely even scratch the surface every time we do this.

But the best part is, if you know of a band or musician who is doing exciting things here in 0161 and you think they deserve to be on this list, if you drop them in the comments enough, we just might see it.

But before we say goodbye, make sure to give all these names so love and if you missed last month’s Manc bands we’re listening to, you can find it down below.

Busted tour tickets 2023: Dates, venues, pre-sale details and the ticket prices for UK reunion tour

Tickets for the busted tour go on sale at a variety of prices from late march.

Noughties pop-punk boyband Busted has announced a UK-wide reunion tour, set to take place later this year, 18 years after they confirmed their split in an emotional press conference.

In the five years they were together between 2000 and 2005, the three-man band – Charlie Simpson , James Bourne and Matt Willis, all now 39 – had four UK number-one singles, won two Brit awards and sold more than 5 million records.

They made waves in the early 2000s with several iconic bangers including “Year 3000”, “Crashed the Wedding” and “Air Hostess”.

The band reformed for a brief stint in 2013, fusing with childhood friends and fellow pop boyband McFly to form spin-off band McBusted, releasing an album and performing a few comeback tours and one-off gigs.

In the tour announcement video, band member James Bourne said: “We were writing songs that made us laugh, and the songs that made us laugh made other people laugh and feel good.”

Here’s everything you need to know if you want to watch Busted perform live, including ticket price, sale information and a full list of tours and venues.

Never heard of Busted (even though I consider myself a 90ties Teen). Listening to it now, I don't really like it so far and I don't like big arenas, but figuring out if I can make a trip to one show anyway :-) Better that wait until whenever for another Hanson only show...

Will you play a full set? Can we expect also EP and new Songs?

Busted announce return with massive UK arena tour and reworks of hit songs to celebrate more than 20 years since debut

busted

It’s official – Busted are back, and they’re bringing new songs and a massive UK tour with them.

The iconic three-piece ruled the airwaves in the early noughties with earworms including Year 3000, Air Hostess and What I Go To School For.

It’s somehow been more than 20 years since Busted – comprising vocalists Charlie Simpson, James Bourne and Matt Willis, all 39 – burst onto the scene, and they have something very special ahead to celebrate.

Fans had already become convinced the Who’s David stars had something major planned , with the official Busted social media pages updating their banners to include the date March 23.

Well, it is now March 23, and it has been revealed Busted are coming back for a massive 15-date UK arena tour, kicking off in September and with tickets going on sale next week.

The tour will see James, Charlie and Matt perform their biggest hits along with fan favourites (hello, Nerdy and 3am) with support from Mmmbop stars Hanson and New Hope Club.

Busted

That’s not all: the group are preparing to release no fewer than 15 songs.

Rather than brand new tracks, Busted have created reworks of some of their most iconic songs and will perform them alongside some other major names from the scene.

The first release is a new version of Loser Kid, from Busted’s debut album; the track will hit airwaves on April 14 and will feature pop rock stars Simple Plan.

Other upcoming singles will have special guests McFly, All Time Low and more, with names to be released at a later date.

Busted 20th anniversary tour dates

September 2 – Plymouth, Pavilions September 3 – Cardiff, International Arena September 5 – Swansea, Arena September 6 – Bournemouth, BIC September 7 – Brighton, Centre September 9 – Birmingham, Utilita Arena September 10 – London, The O2 September 12 – Bridlington, Spa September 15 – Nottingham, Motorpoint Arena September 16 – Newcastle, Utilita Arena September 17- Leeds, First Direct Arena September 19 – Aberdeen, P&J Live September 20 – Glasgow, OVO Hydro September 22 – Liverpool, M&S Bank Arena September 24 – Manchester, AO Arena

Tickets for the tour will go on general sale at 9am on March 31, however fans who sign up to Busted’s mailing list will receive access to a pre-sale from 9am on March 29.

Rumours of a comeback for the group have circulated since Fightstar musician Charlie hinted to Lorraine Kelly ‘ there may be some plans ’ for a reunion.

‘It is the 20 year anniversary for Busted this year,’ he added.

‘Sworn to secrecy again… but there may be some stuff in the pipeline.’

Busted were first formed in 2000 and released their first, self-titled album in 2002, before their 2003 album A Present For Everyone threw them into even wider fame.

Their split in 2005 devastated fans, with many remembering genuine tears in the playground the day the news was announced; all three went on to form solo careers or front new bands.

Busted returned – in a way – in 2013, when Matt and James teamed up with McFly for supergroup McBusted, and Charlie finally returned in 2015, completing the original lineup.

However the group took a hiatus once again in 2019, and after four long years this seems set to be their biggest return party yet.

Busted is back, ITV News' Faye Barker reports

Boyband Busted has announced a comeback tour to celebrate their 20th anniversary.

The British trio, comprised of Masked Singer winner Charlie Simpson and bandmates James Bourne and Matt Willis, have announced 15 tour dates across the UK to mark their 20th anniversary.

The Year 3000 band also announced a new single called Loser Kid 2.0 featuring Simple Plan which will be released in April.

American pop band Hanson, best known for their 1997 hit MMMBop, will join the trio on tour.

In a video posted to Instagram on Thursday morning, Bourne said: "A decade is a long time. Two decades is an even longer time."

The clip showed footage from the band's past music videos including Air Hostess, You Said No, and What I Go to School For.

"We were writing songs that made us laugh and the songs that made us laugh made other people laugh and feel good," Bourne said.

He added that they have that "special feeling - like it's Busted time".

Simpson, who later went on to front rock band Fightstar, said Busted "really broke the mould" when they started making music in 2000.

"It's about celebrating what Busted meant to the fans and it's about us being able to go out and share that experience with them," Simpson said.

When and where are Busted touring?

September 2 – Pavilions, Plymouth

September 3 – Cardiff International Arena

September 5 – Swansea Arena

September 6 – Bournemouth International Centre

September 19 – P&J Live, Aberdeen

September 20 – OVO Hydro, Glasgow

September 22 – M&S Bank Arena, Liverpool

The confirmation of the reunion tour follows a cryptic video posted on the band's Instagram page on Wednesday. The teaser clip showed a Busted videotape being put into a VHS player. The caption read: "23/03/23" along with the hashtag "Busted20".

Thousands of fans responded to the teaser expressing their hopes for an album, tour, or single.

Thankfully fans didn't have to wait long until their hopes were confirmed on Thursday.

Tickets go on sale on Friday 31 March.

Busted confirm comeback with reunion tour 20 years after pop rockers topped the charts

Busted confirms comeback with a 15-show reunion tour after teasing fans on social mdia

  • Updated 13:19, 23 Mar 2023

Busted have confirmed they are reuniting for a 15-show tour and a new album after teasing fans with a cryptic message.

Air Hostess singers Matt Willis , 39, Charlie Simpson , 37, and James Bourne , 39, have delighted fans as they get the band back together for their 20th anniversary.

Starting in September this year, the band will be embarking on a reunion tour around the UK.

Busted will also release an album of new versions of their iconic songs and will feature other 2000s bands All Time Low and McFly.

Fans don't need to wait a long time as tickets for the tour are going on sale at 9am on March 31.

"It's out of this world that we get to do this and we couldn't be more excited about it. It's going to be wicked," James said.

Matt added to The Sun : "Now it feels like it's meant to feel. It's like the very beginning all over again. Right now it feels like it's barely even begun."

Earlier this week, Busted excited fans after teasing a reunion with a cryptic post on Instagram.

They posted about a possible comeback with an announcement on Thursday (March 23).

They shared a video on social media which hints at celebrations to mark their 20th anniversary, with them having released their debut single and album back in 2002.

The footage shows a VHS cassette tape being inserted into a retro TV unit. There's briefly some static before the band's logo appears on the screen as the video comes to a close.

The teaser has been shared on Instagram and other platforms. Its caption references 23/03/23 and hints at the band's anniversary with the hashtag #Busted20.

One person reacted: "Omg ... they're back". Another said: "It's happening!" Whilst a third wrote: "This makes me happy to the core." Another said: "This is not a drill".

Are you excited for the Busted reunion tour? Vote in our poll HERE to have your say.

"Not to be dramatic but I’ve waited my whole bloody life for this," one delighted fan said while another posted: "I’m 36 and I’m feeling 16 again!! What a band! Thank you for everything this is so sick!!!!"

Charlie recently teased fans about a new album, telling Capital Breakfast "It might be coming. If it was coming I'd be sworn to secrecy."

Age Restriction – 18+

Following a massive 20th Anniversary arena tour in, Busted are coming to Brighton on 26th May 2024.

Impossible, though it may seem, it’s been twenty years since Busted bounced into the charts with the irrepressible pop-punk energy of their debut single ‘What I Go To School For’. It kick-started a succession of hits for the trio, including the #1 smashes ‘Crashed The Wedding’, ‘Who’s David’, ‘Thunderbirds Are Go’, ‘You Said No’ and the Top 3 singles ‘Year 3000’, ‘Air Hostess’ and ‘Sleeping With The Light On’.

Busted’s many successes spread far beyond the singles charts. Three of their four studio albums also peaked at #2, with 4.5 million sales leading to eight Platinum certifications as well as a total of 25 weeks in the Top 10 and two 5x Platinum selling albums. How to get tickets for Busted’s Sydney 2024 tour: presale, dates and everything else we know

The British boyband who brought us Year 3000 are touring Australia for the first time ever

Winnie Stubbs

In ground-breaking news for every millennial British expat currently living in the Harbour City (plus a swathe of Sydney-based Busted fans), the people who brought us ' Year 3000' and ' Crashed the Wedding' are coming to Australia for the first time ever. More than two decades after releasing their debut single ' What I Go To School For' , the British boyband (if we can still call them that) is heading Down Under – they’ll be performing one very special show in Sydney on Sunday, November 3.

Their upcoming tour will see the three-piece pop-rockers perform on Aussie soil for the very first time. Here’s how to catch them live in Sydney before the line “not much has changed but they live underwater” becomes too uncomfortably accurate.

When are Busted on tour in Sydney?

After shows in Melbourne (Wednesday, October 3) and Brisbane (Friday, November 1), Busted will be performing their final Aussie show (for this tour at least) on Sunday, November 3 2024.

Where are Busted playing in Sydney?

In true boyband form, they’ll be taking over a university venue: bringing their melodic angsty anthems to the Roundhouse – UNSW’s 2,000-person live music venue. That means only 2,000 lucky Sydneysiders will be able to attend the show – I don’t know about you, but that’s what I go to school for (couldn’t resist).

When do Busted Sydney tickets go on sale?

General release tickets for Busted’s Sydney show go on sale at 11am on Tuesday, July 9. Keen to get in early? The first round of pre-sale tickets will go live from 9am on Thursday, July 4 via TEG . An additional pre-sale will go live via Ticketek and the Roundhouse website at 9am on Friday, July 5.

Who is the support act for Busted’s Australian shows?

Busted will be joined on stage at the Roundhouse by Melbourne-born indie rockers Between You & Me , who will open for Busted at all three of their Australian shows. Busted Announce Debut Australia Tour

The british pop-punk band will bring their live show to our shores for the very first time later this year.

Busted

Busted are coming to Australia to perform for the first time.

The iconic British pop-punk band will bring their live show to our shores this October and November.

The tour kicks off on Wednesday, October 30th at Melbourne’s Forum, moves to Eatons Hill Hotel Ballroom in Brisbane on Friday, November 1st, and wraps up at The Roundhouse in Sydney on Sunday, November 3rd.

Tickets for all three shows go on sale on Tuesday, July 9th at 11am local time, with a fan pre-sale on Thursday, July 4th. Tickets are available from the band’s official website busted.com and teglive.com.au.

Joining Busted on tour will be Australian alternative group Between You & Me, who will bring their pop-punk sound to the stage.

Busted are excited about their first Australian shows: “Finally…. Can’t believe Busted have never actually played in Australia. We are so excited to get over to the east coast this Oct/Nov. It’s gonna be mega! Let’s jump around and lose our minds!!! Busted are fully back!”

Formed in Essex in 2000, Busted broke onto the scene with their debut single “What I Go to School For,” which peaked at #3 on the UK charts.

Since then they’ve had four UK #1 singles, won two BRIT awards, and sold over 5 million records worldwide with their four studio albums.

Their catalogue includes hits like “Crashed The Wedding”, “Thunderbirds Are Go”, “You Said No”, “Year 3000”, “Air Hostess”, and “Sleeping With The Light On”.

The band reunited last year to celebrate 20 years of Busted, releasing their Greatest Hits 2.0 album, which became the UK’s #1 album in September. The album featured 15 guest artists, including Simple Plan, All Time Low, and HANSON, and debuted a new track, “Good One”.

In January 2024, the band released a live and extended version of the Greatest Hits 2.0 album, which featured a new track, “One Of These Days”.
