Raja skandal ri: abu tours bikin duit para jamaah jadi 'abu'.

Jakarta, CNBC Indonesia - Beberapa tahun silam Muhammad Hamzah Mamba membuat kejutan bagi masyarakat Indonesia. Perusahaan jasa umrohnya, tidak hanya gagal memberangkatkan para jamaah ke tanah suci, tapi uang yang disetorkan jamaahnya diputar tanpa bisa kembali lagi ke tangan jamaahnya.

Muhammad Hamzah Mamba adalah Bos PT Amanah Bersama Ummat  (Abu Tours). Perusahaannya beralamat di Jalan Bji Raya nomor 32 I Kelurahan Bongaya, Kecamatan Tamalate, Makassar, Sulawesi Selatan (Sulsel). Abu Tours sendiri sempat terkenal dengan promo paket umroh Rp 15 jutaan, harga yang sangat murah pada masanya. Hingga terjaring banyak calon jemaah.

Bisnisnya, sejak 2017 pun terlihat dalam masalah. Para jamaahnya, yang jumlahnya lebih dari 86 ribu, yang tersebar di seluruh Indonesia, tak kunjung berangkat ke Makkah. Sebagian jamaahnya berinisiatif melaporkan Abu Tours ke Polda Sulsel.

Pada 23 Maret 2018, Komisaris PT Abu Tours and Travel Khairuddin dan CEO PT Abu Tours Hamzah Mamba diperiksa dan kemudian jadi tersangka. Setelahnya, polisi juga menetapkan istri Hamzah, Nursyariah Mansyur, dan mantan Manajer Keuangan Abu Tours, M. Kasim juga sebagai tersangka. Pada 8 April 2018 kepolisian mendata aset-aset Hamzah Mamba yang tersebar di seluruh Indonesia.Dari yang berupa kendaraan, tanah, hingga bangunan yang tersebar di berbagai daerah.

Kementerian Agama (Kemenag) juga mengaudit Abu Tours dan ditemukan hingga awal 2019 sekitar 86 ribu jamaah Abu Tours belum diberangkatkan. Dari dana yang tersisa di Abu Tours, sekitar Rp 2 miliar, hanya mampu memberangkatkan 27 jemaah. Kemudian diumumkan bahwa total kerugian semua jamaah itu mencapai Rp 1,2 triliun. Abu Tours melakukan kesalahan menajemen dalam mengelola uang calon jamaah umrahnya.

Dana Rp 1,2 triliun itu dianggap raib. Dari serangkaian penyitaan yang dilakukan, hanya terkumpul Rp 200 miliar saja. Pada 21 Januari 2019 Hamzah Mamba dituntut jaksa dengan pasal penggelapan dan pencucian uang. Selama persidangan Hamzah memberi keterangan yang berbelit. Di pengadilan terungkap Hamzah Mamba membeli aset dengan uang jemaah.

Pengadilan Negeri Makassar, Sulawesi Selatan, menjatuhkan hukuman 20 tahun penjara dan denda sebesar Rp 500 juta kepada hamzah Mamba. Dirinya sempat mengajukan banding, bahkan sampai ke Mahkamah Agung kemudian ditolak. Kasus Abu Tours termasuk kasus yang menyita perhatian publik.

Hamzah Mamba konon sekitar 2003 pernah bekerja di Pizza Hut Makassar sebagai pramusaji. Pada 2004, Hamzah membeli sebuah gerobak untuk menjual makanan dan minuman di sekitar Pantai Losari, Makassar. Setelah usahanya itu berkembang dengan banyaknya gerobak yang dimiliki, pada 2006, dia pindah ke Jakarta. Hamzah lalu berjualan es teler dan es kopi Di kawasan Cilandak. Hingga dia kemudian bisnis pemberangkatan umroh lewat Abu Tours, yang akhirnya jadi salah satu kasus penipuan umroh terbesar di Indonesia.

Footsteps Of The Pharaohs - Included Internal Flights

This was our first time in Egypt. Due to the known reasons, many people cancelled their trips to Egypt. But we found Egypt is very safe (much safer than New York City). Police and armed guards are everywhere to ensure the safety of the tourists. There was not a single encounter with risk during the entire trip from Alexandria all the way to Abu Simbel. We truly enjoyed the civilization of ancient Egypt, thanks to the tour guides Abdu (Cairo), Saladino (river cruise), and Ahmed (Alexandria). They are well-educated experts involved in archeological discoveries in the country. We were treated so well by everyone during the entire tour. The river cruise allowed us to see how people live along the river. The highlight of the cruise was the Captains Party in the bar. Food was good, especially the Egyptian dinner. There was a large fleet of cruise ships (more than 20) moving together. My only problem was the diesel gas smell on board of the ship (M.S. La Sarah). We were a small group with 6 tourists and one guide so we could discuss the history with the guide anytime we wanted to. The tourist sites were not crowded in this peak season, which gave us plenty of opportunities to take photos and observe the beauty of Egypt. Saladino is a great person, who led us to ride on local minibus to a local seafood restaurant deep in the neighborhood. We enjoyed the fish from Lake Nasir and big shrimps from the Red Sea with the locals. We knew we have to face the venders who were aggressive, but it didn't bother us because all they want was to make some money. They are harmless. Tolip Golden Plaza Hotel in Cairo has big rooms with adequate facility. There are some restaurants nearby with descent food, except Katalia, which needs to be avoided. Overall, I rated the tour with 5-stars. One note: if you see school children approaching you for photos, go ahead let them take photos with you. These lovely kids just want to have photos with foreigners.

This was one of the best vacation experiences I have had in my life. Tony, Dr. Nasser and Aymana were the most professional hosts that provided an outstanding level of customer experience. We were in Egypt for 14 days, with visits to Cairo, Luxor, Edfu, Abu Simbel and then the breathtaking beauty of the Red Sea in Hurghada. Let me also add that when we returned to Cario we also visited Memphis Saqqara and Dr. Nasser's ability to explain and describe the history of Egypt in great detail. Closing the trip out with the visit to the Civilization Museum increased my understanding of every tour we had visited with full circle understanding. In advance of your travel please take time to study and read up on the history of Egypt to assist with your travel experience.

doing this nile river cruise from Luxor to Aswan, according to it's price it's very cheap also it includes everything we dreamed about, hot air balloon, abu Simbel tour, Karnak temple, luxor temple, Hatshepsut temple, valley of the kings, and Memmnon statues, in aswan isis temple and this high dam Even in the way horus temple with wonderful experience riding horse carriage and another temple in the way, after all the experience was awesome the first representative was not very good in English, thank you Andy thank you Egyptology Travel than you ramsy, it was such a wonderful experience.

i really love this trip with our guide Mohamed. the group is small about 8 person in total. i really enjoy visiting all the places and no rush. relax and easy trip. the only downside of this trip is you need to bought your own bottle water for the buffet and it is not included. but our guide Mohamed help us to buy everytime we go out. credit to him who really put effort to give his best service to us.

Me and my family just finished our Egypt tour, it was everything we had hoped ,We booked this tour to see all the things that we had only read about in history books and it didn't disappoint.The tour itinerary starts in Cairo pyramids and sphinx,then we did the 4 nights Nile cruise from luxor to Aswan which covers almost all the highlights of upper Egypt. Some of the days start early so you can get there before the crowds.This ended up being totally worth it nothing like having a whole temple to yourself. The guides know a lot,they provided us with tons of information and kept everything going smoothly,There are several adds on tours you can choose to do, We did Abu simbel,balloon ,Nubian village. my best part was the Nile cruise,our boat was called Ms Jaz Regent it was incredible and the staff was very helpful and the food was very testy. The security is everywhere,I never felt unsafe during the entire tour, thanks to the tour company and we are happy to recommend it to everyone.

Nubian Adventure

I loved my trip visiting all of the historical sites. Nothing to dislike. I appreciated the time the group had to themselves so I especially could be out and about and meet with the locals which was the primary motive for my trip. I fully enjoyed the historical and natural wonders on show but I loved meeting and spending time with ordinary Jordanians. I managed to do this and that just topped off a super trip for me. Zuhir was the most joyful and enthusiastic guide to introduce us all to the natural wonders, culture and people of Jordan. Always super pleasant, super organised, and he always explained the menus when we frequently dined together as a group. He is a really decent bloke whose love of his country shone through. Can't ask for more than that.

The ship is very nice, Has a pool, an indoor and an outdoor bar. Meals are Served as a Buffet, there is Always good for every one. But the best of the Tour is the Tour Guide WAEL. He knows Everything. Explained the ancient Stories in a very Entertaining way. We loved ihm. Our friend did not feel very well, Wael organised very fast good medicine. What you Need to know about this tour, there is not a lot of sleep, behause there is always something to See.

Started our tour with Raba and was so surprised how informative he was on our journey through the beautiful Cairo we had the amazing experience of riding a camel a memory I will never ever forget. Hassan was such a wonderful delight to have with us on the rest of our journey through Lexar he was full of information and so very fun and so informative. Such an amazing group of people with us and because of this trip in Egyp we have made some great memories and new friends. Thank you to all who made our trip a pleasurable time ???

UAE to offer visa support for Indians hosting Abu Dhabi destination weddings: Details

Dubai: Do you fancy a destination wedding in a royal Emirati setting? To establish Abu Dhabi as a premier wedding destination, the Abu Dhabi Convention and Exhibition Bureau (ADCEB) has announced an initiative to extend visa support to Indian nationals hosting weddings across the Emirate. The ADCEB, which is a part of the Department of Culture and Tourism Abu Dhabi, is undertaking this initiative to establish the UAE capital as a premier wedding destination, a statement released here said. The recently announced new visa initiative contributes to Abu Dhabi's tourism strategy 2030, which aims to boost visitor numbers to 39.3 million by 2030. 

The destination wedding segment is among the newest verticals to join the ADCEB as part of an overarching objective to attract domestic and international visitors and increase the sector's contribution to the GDP to AED 90 billion as per the 2030 strategy, the statement said. India is recognised as one of the largest markets for destination weddings globally, making it a key target market for Abu Dhabi. By extending visa support to Indian weddings, in the form of absorbing costs, the ADCEB's destination wedding segment aims to position Abu Dhabi as a world-leading destination for weddings and celebrations of all kinds. 

It provides an avenue to amplify the Emirate's unique cultural and entertainment offerings, cultural attractions and natural landscapes for international audiences. Weddings are also a key revenue stream for the hospitality sector, driving venue and hotel room occupancy, and the service industry sectors such as wedding planning, photography, catering, personal services and more, said the statement.
