Forget Garth Brooks, because Shania Twain-mania has has officially hit Ireland.

Initial reviews of her first night in Dublin are in, and – by all accounts – the country pop superstar rocked the 3Arena with a spectacular show.

Ahead of night two on Wednesday, September 20, here's everything you need to know – including the expected set list following Tuesday's performance.

Unfortunately, tickets for Wednesday's show are now completely sold out, with no resale tickets to be seen on Ticketmaster's website at the time of writing.

But it's good news though for fans as you can expect a 13,000-strong crowd belting along to her biggest tunes like You're Still The One and Man! I Feel Like a Woman! with you on the night.

The atmosphere for the major pop concert is indeed bound to be electric.

3Arena stage times and support act

The Canadian singer is being supported on her two Dublin dates by rising US star Breland, who fuses country and R&B in unique fashion and has been hailed as a pioneer in the genre.

The show kicks off at 6.30pm with Shania expected on stage somewhere between 8pm and 8.30pm, based on previous shows on this current tour.

Aah, the one we've all been waiting for.

The set list for Tuesday night's show at the 3Arena is below. You can expect something very similar to this for Wednesday night's second outing.

How to get there and travel options

The Luas is probably the quickest way to get to the 3Arena from the city centre via public transport.

If you're travelling by train into Dublin, you can grab the Luas Red Line to The Point stop from either Connolly or Heuston Station. This will take you right to the doors of the 3Arena.

The full list of stops where you can board is available at www.luas.ie .

Alternatively, if you'd prefer to avoid the crowds, the 3Arena is roughly 20 minutes walk from O'Connell Street.

From O'Connell Street, just walk down the Northside Quays, past the IFSC until you arrive at the venue.

If you prefer to drive, there is limited car parking available at Point Village car park.

The cost is €16 plus booking fee from 6pm up until 12am, with parking tickets available to book in advance from Ticketmaster.

However using public transport is strongly encouraged, given the thousands that will be travelling to the venue on the night.

Shania Twain has announced that she will perform at Dublin's 3Arena next September, which is sure to delight her Irish fans.

The Queen of Country is set to perform in Dublin on September 19, 2023 as she prepares to go on tour next year with the release of latest album Queen of Me in February.

Shania's world tour will start on Saturday September 16 with her first gig in London’s O2 Arena, followed by Dublin a few days later. The country legend had her first visit to Irish shores with her debut tour 'Come On Over' in Dublin's RDS Arena in 1999, blowing fans away with her incredible stage presence and bangers like 'Up' and the unforgettable 'That Don't Impress Me Much.'

Her last Dublin gig was in Dublin's 3Arena in 2018. Now, the Grammy Award winning country singer makes her return to touring after a five year hiatus.

Tickets for Shania's 3Arena gig in Dublin are set to go on general sale from Friday, November 4 at 10am from Ticketmaster. Tickets will start from €76.50 including booking fee as well as a charity donation.

Everything to know for Shania Twain in Malahide Castle - stage times, set list, transport and tickets

It'll be the battle of country music in Dublin this weekend as Shania Twain's gig clashes with Taylor Swift's Eras tour on Friday.

Luckily, there's no bad blood between the two iconic singers and the best thing about being a woman is the prerogative to have a little fun, right?

With Taylor playing three nights in the Aviva Stadium and Shania playing one night in Malahide Castle in Dublin there'll certainly be plenty of fun! Here's everything to know if you are going to Shania Twain's concert on Friday, June 28.:

Stage times

Gates at Malahide Castle will open at 4pm on Friday and the concert is scheduled to start at 5 pm.

There will be two support acts before she comes on. Australian singer Delta Goodrem will open the show for about thirty minutes and then there will be about a fifteen-minute break before English singer Rag’n’Bone Man comes on for forty-five minutes to an hour playing hits like Human and Giant and Skin.

While the exact set list for the Malahide Castle could differ, here is what Shania sang at her recent Las Vegas residency, including 21 of her biggest hits:

Transport to Malahide Castle

There are a number of public transport options to Malahide Castle, by Dart, train and bus, and pedestrians must enter the castle grounds via Hogan's Gate.

Malahide Dart station is 15-minute walk to the arena entrance, with Darts running every 15 minutes. There also be concert express bus running directly to Custom House Quay, Dublin 1, following the gig. Fans can book a single or a return journey here .

For concertgoers hoping to drive, there is limited car parking available at Malahide Castle and fans are advised to book parking in advance through the Evntz app.

Banned items

Concertgoers will not be permitted to bring in any bags over A4 size as well as seating of any kind, or umbrellas. The other usual stuff won't be permitted within the grounds such as alcohol, selfie sticks and flares. See a full list from MCD here .

There are a handful of tickets still available on Ticketmaster , starting at €60.

Fans have been advised that Ticketmaster is the official and only legitimate ticket seller for this event and warned not to buy from bogus ticket sellers or from unofficial sources.

Country music superstar Shania Twain has announced a huge outdoor gig in Dublin for this summer.

The five-time Grammy award winner will perform at Malahide Castle on Friday, June 28 as part of her Queen of Me tour. Twain will also perform at Belsonic in Belfast the day before the Dublin gig, on June 27.

The announcement comes just months after Twain performed two sold-out shows at Dublin's 3Arena , meaning fans who missed out on tickets to her gigs last year now have a second chance to see the Canadian singer live.

It has also been confirmed that Twain will be joined by special guest Rag'n'Bone Man for both Irish gigs. Below we have all the info you need to get tickets to the Dublin show, including when tickets go on sale and how to sign up for access to pre-sale tickets.

When to tickets for Shania Twain's Malahide Castle concert go on sale?

Tickets for both Twain's Dublin gig at Malahide Castle and her concert at Belsonic in Belfast go on general sale at 9am on Thursday (February 15).

How much do tickets cost?

Ticket prices start at €79.90 and will be available on Ticketmaster.ie . General tickets went on sale at 9am this Thursday (February 15).

Ticket purchases are limited to 8 per person. Anyone who exceeds the ticket limit may have any or all of their orders and tickets cancelled without notice by Ticketmaster at its discretion. This includes orders associated with the same name, e-mail address, billing address, credit card number or other information.

Is there a pre-sale?

Yes, there are a number of pre-sale tickets up for grabs, giving fans the opportunity to purchase tickets before the general public.

Past purchaser presale tickets went on sale at 10am on Tuesday and are available to anyone who received a special code.

Past Purchaser Pre-sale is normally open to a fan who bought a ticket for an artists previous gig using their Ticketmaster account or past purchasers of a specific event that was canceled (or indefinitely postponed). Only past purchasers of the specific event will be eligible to participate in such a presale.

Fans can also try to get their hands on tickets through a Promoter Presale, which started at 9am on Tuesday, February 13. You can register for that pre-sale here but it is important to note that registration does not guarantee a ticket

Anyone eligible to book during a presale will usually receive an email beforehand containing a password or a secure internet link which allows access to the tickets

If unsuccessful in purchasing a presale ticket, general tickets will go on sale this Thursday at 9am.

Shania Twain in Dublin: When tickets go on sale, prices, pre-sale options and other Irish dates

The Man! I Feel Like A Woman singer and country icon returns to Dublin this summer for an epic outdoor gig at Malahide Castle and here is all you need to know

Shania Twain is coming to Dublin later this year for an epic outdoor gig.

The country music icon, best known for hits Man! I Feel Like A Woman and That Don't Impress Me Much, will play at Malahide Castle this summer, following sellout dates at Dublin's 3Arena last year.

This concert is expected to sell out quickly given fans reaction to the announcement.

Shania revealed the exciting news on social media on Monday morning, writing to her followers: "When it rains... it pours!! UK & IRELAND - I'm coming for you, see you this Summer!"

The singer will perform a total of six shows across the UK and Ireland between June and July.

Shania Twain at 3Arena, Dublin

“I think songwriting needs a story to rise and fall, to go through different phases and moods, just like a story does,” Shania Twain tells Louis Theroux in her much touted episode of his podcast (highly recommended, by the way – her background is remarkable). That ethos – one of telling a story in music – rings true for her shows, too.

And let’s leave no doubt, more than gigs, Twain’s performances are, in the fullest, most engaging sense of the word, shows. Eileen Edwards, as her rather less glamorous everyday name goes, is only six records into a career that has included what’s thought to be the seventh highest selling album globally of all time, ‘Come On Over’. The 1997 album was, remarkably, already her third. It doesn’t take a lot of regular output, though, when you have a fanbase as loyal as the Canadian, and are quite so able to tell those stories.

Twain started making money in bars singing at the age of 11. Now in her 50s, she’s refined the art of the massive stage show. She opens by appearing semi-incognito near the back of the tiered seating, in a trench coat and pink glasses, and performing ‘Waking Up Dreaming’ as she’s slowly rolled, almost ceremonially, between the rows of the cowboy-capped audience.

A couple of minutes later she pops out at the bottom of the arena, appearing on stage in oversized pink cowboy boots, animal print leggings and a low-slung top, in front of a gigantic screen portraying a cartoon journey into space. Shania’s rocket dodges planets and stars during ‘Up!’, before we crash land in front of a large Ireland sign, and the first of what is to be an abundance of tracks from ‘Come On Over’ is dropped in ‘Don’t Be Stupid’.

There’s no question what Shania does is, largely, turned up to ten. There are two wild, super-camp and effortlessly entertaining backing singers strutting around throughout. The violinist runs away from alien graphics, ducks leaping horses, and occasionally sprints mid melody. The drummer looks like she’s having an absolute blast, and at one point, a smoke-addled motorbike appears for the singer to drape herself over.

We have to take a moment to nod at the broader staging, too. On the cleverly set out backdrop, an earthquake destroys a bar, a massive ‘parental guidance, explicit content’ warning hangs over the stage for the one track with a bit of sharp language, and there are several references to Dublin dropped in. It’s not far off a level you could watch as a video in its own right.

While the pink-tinged show aspects are superb, though, what’s still better is the way Twain engages with the audience, going off script. There are three or four little snippets of songs delivered a capella on request. A French fan who’s flown his dad in from Paris to see the show is welcomed on stage for a duet, and Mia, an eight year old from Cork, gets to sing a track, too. There are also a load of couples at candle-lit tables on stage for a gloriously soppy ‘From This Moment On’.

The whole experience is an ever-changing, boisterous offering where the songs are important, but it’s the energy and the ever-changing dynamic that elevates.

Overall, there’s country and the odd hint of disco, an air of the Disney about it all, and some corners of the set that are absolute tear jerkers. At one stage, we hop from fire and fury on ‘Pretty Liar’ to cheesy devotion on ‘From This Moment On’ in just a matter of seconds.

The whole thing is vocally glorious, too. Twain’s lyrics have sometimes come in for criticism, and there are certainly moments where they just feel a little basic, but they’re always delivered absolutely note perfect, and often with a weight of audience backing that almost overwhelms.

The highs are obvious: a huge chunk of ‘Come On Over’ is here, but once we’re through the head-spinning Shania Jukebox (featuring snippets of the likes of ‘When’, ‘Thankyou Baby’ and ‘Nah’), it’s into the meat of the set in the form of the mega singles.

A gorgeously sappy ‘Still The One’, described as a simple song (but perhaps her finest moment) is dropped early, but the encore is saved for the two 90s country-pop dancefloor fillers. ‘That Don’t Impress Me Much’ is signalled by an on-screen countdown to the ‘Impress Express’ leaving the station, and any temptation to roll the eyes at its lyrical lows is dismissed quickly by the sheer sing-along power of it all. ‘Man, I Feel Like A Woman’ is similar: camp and obvious, and characterised by those seven uplifting notes and the “let’s go girls” quip. It’s performed in the outfit from the original video, dragged out of a museum for this tour.

This is an obvious performance in some senses, then, but equally exactly what you’d want: an engaged, vocally brilliant performer looking like she’s having the time of her life, and delivering a neatly packaged, glistening, glittery show straight into the hands of an adoring audience. There are lots of the hits, and sufficiently little filler, and the whole thing feels like a beautiful, enthralling throwback.

Sure, the price of tickets to this show might have made RTE this week, and they are high, but then again with the seventh highest selling album of all time, and a stage show that’s as manic and jubilant as it is engaging, that’s to be expected, perhaps. The whole thing – and screw it, we’re doing this – does impress us. Much.

Shania Twain Gears Up For 2024-25 Las Vegas Residency – Setlist & Ticket Deals

Country pop superstar Shania Twain is preparing to begin her series of concert shows at her Las Vegas Residency in the next few months.

The shows will start on Nov. 30 and conclude on Feb. 8, 2025.

Eilleen Regina “Shania” Twain hails from Ontario, Canada. With over 100 million records, she is one of the best-selling music artists of all time and the best-selling female artist in country music history ever. Her success has inspired the nickname “Queen of Country Pop.”

With five Grammy Awards, Twain recieved her own star of the Hollywood Boulevard in 2011. Also in 2011, Twain was inducted into the Canadian Music hall of Fame.

He breakout albums was The Woman in Me , which was released in 1995 and includes hit singles such as “Whose Bed Have Your Boots Been Under?” and “Any Man of Mine.”

After a lengthy hiatus from the music industry due to personal health reasons, Twain made her comeback 15 years later with the 2017 album Now , which became number one on the Billboard 200 chart.
