Shalom took care of every single detail! We had the trip of a lifetime!!! Our guide was knowledgeable and amazing. The hotels were beautiful and the places we visited were unbelievable! Shalom left nothing to chance and we were treated by everyone like royalty! I highly recommend them!!!

This company is a Fraud, please beware and read below for full details. From the moment I contacted them everything was fine. The guy (Shalom) himself was initially very nice and courteous, He was helpful trying to plan a last minute trip. We selected the package, discussed rates, everything was fine and when payment time came, It all went South from there. 1- Shalom was very nice as I said. All went well but when It came time to pay he asked me to pay by wire transfer which we all know is the best way to get scammed (wire and western Union) . Wire transfer take 3 days to process at the bank and credit cards can be processed in minutes but he was saying the wires are faster and that Is why he wants me to pay that way. This was red flag #1, but the guy was very nice on the phone so I said "Let's try and trust him" 2- When I was about to make a wire, I had a gut feeling that something was completely wrong so I asked him to cancel the entire thing as I was not going to pay by Wire. He then proceeded to say he would take my card with a 3% fee which was fine by me, for safety reasons. 3- Once I sent him the card detail he let me know that he had to send It to Israel for processing, made me fill out a CC authorization form and even send him a scan of the actual card, which I did and it all gets interesting from here 4- The next day (8 hours later) I see about 4 fraudulent charges being put on my card. I immediately suspect where this could be coming from, so i call the guy ask him to cancel everything especially because his own charge had not yet gone through and he made up all kinds of reasons not to. I contacted him 3 more times about cancellations and eventually he stopped responding. And then 4 days later I see his company based out of NYC, not Israel also charged my account. I called the bank and cancelled the card of course, I am disputing the transaction as we speak, but after reading all these positive reviews of the guy I just wondered if he created these reviews himself and wanted to let everyone know what this really is about. Please use caution, I do not advise using them and I would be glad to hear if anyone has had a similar story.

We at Shalom Journey's appreciate all feedback. As we cannot expect to please every customer, we go above and beyond to ensure we do our best to accommodate their request. That said, sometimes customers will go above and beyond to tarnish a business reputation. Based on this review, we can assure any potential clients that the above comments are inaccurate in every aspect. Rather than dive deep into each step this customer laid out, I will reply solely to his last, the most important comment he made. After his attempt to dispute his charges which were all done fairly and according to standard travel terms and policies, his credit card company denied his dispute. The denial of his dispute by the credit car company occurred after providing his credit card company with vast amounts of evidence showing he had signed the terms, our credit card statements proved no hidden fees were charged and all payments made were accurate. Furthermore, after showing his card company that the individual did in fact use his flight, joined the tour and completed the trip, they had enough proof that this individual was attempting to gain a free trip by misleading us and the credit card company. We hope you enjoyed the Holy Land!! In conclusion, we are saddened by the harsh words which do not reflect our company in any way but we also accept any and all kind of feedback. Our goal is to improve every day so that are customers receive the most memorable experience to Israel. Thank you!

We just returned from our trip from Israel. We had the best time .The guide the hotels and the tour was perfect .Our family had a great experience and will return again. We loved it !!! We will definitely recommend Shalom Journeys to our friends and family.

I apologize for not sharing my thoughts sooner. We had such an amazing trip I was truly sad to be back home. Shalom Journeys planned a spectacular tour for my wife and I. From the get go Shalom was flawless. I have never met an individual with so much patience. Shalom took amazing care of us, called us upon arrival, surprised us with a VIP service at the airport and was so professional that I will recommend him to anyone looking for Israel Tours. Shalom Journey's is a family business. I spoke to his wife and son Jonathan (who went above and beyond to recommend places to eat and drink, but also made the reservations directly from NY). The 15 day tour was a deluxe, small group of other wonderful couples and was exactly what we were hoping for. The one bad experience we had was in Israel. We found that service at restaurants and hotels could be better and more accommodating but beyond that, the tour, Israel and our experience with Shalom Journeys was excellent and highly recommended. I can't wait to take the rest of my family on a tour again and look forward to working with Shalom and the Shalom Journey's team of wonderful people again. P.S - I was a bit nervous at first after reading the previous review. I mentioned this to Shalom (the owner) and he politely answered with details about the client and his claims. He even provided me with proof that the client did attend the tour, he did in fact dispute the charges to his card, unsuccessfully as the credit card company rejected his dispute due to overwhelming evidence that he was misleading and attempting to get a free trip. That being said, its shameful that their are people who go through such nasty lengths to ruin a family run business. Its bullocks and do not fear Shalom Journey's. They are honest and straightforward from the get go. Happy travels!!

This was a trip of a lifetime for my husband and me, and everything was handled with excellence by everyone at Shalom Journeys. From helping us with our airline reservations to trip insurance to advise about anything and everything before we left to our greeting at the airport, to the adventure that awaited us once we arrived in Israel, things could not have been more perfect. We had a small group of 13, our tour guide was knowledgeable and friendly, Jonathan (from Shalom Journeys in New York) met us in Israel and joined us, which made everything so much more personable, and our hotels were beyond amazing. I highly recommend Shalom Journeys and would use them again when we go back to Israel.
