Travis Scott is the stage name of Jacques Webster, a rapper hailing from Houston, Texas, USA and born on the 30th of April 1992. Since debuting in 2009 at the age of 17 he has been signed to the record labels of both Kanye West and T.I.

To look at the career of Travis Scott seems a lot like looking into the fantasies of any teenage rap fan in the United States of America. However, the only thing about Scott that’s almost too good to be true is the sheer amount of talent that he possesses. Here we are, one of the hottest names in Hip-Hop, with a list of collaborators that reads like a who’s who of the genre’s biggest names and a future so bright it’s dangerous to look at it with shades… is a man so young that at the time of writing he’s been legally allowed to drink for a little over two and a half years.

Scott began to produce beats at the age of sixteen; forming a duo with his friend Chris Holloway named The Graduates. These led to some E.P’s and even a couple of albums but they weren’t to last, and Scott pulled away from both of them at around the same time that he dropped out of college in his home state of Texas and moved to Los Angeles. It was soon after he settled into the city of angels and started releasing his music onto the internet that T.I heard his track “Lights (Love Sick)”, immediately got in touch and soon after, had met up with Scott in person and freestyled over Scott’s track “Animal”.

This would not be the last time that Scott would work with certified superstars in his music career, in fact very soon afterwards he found himself in the company of a bona-fide legend. Through an industry contact, he managed to catch the ear of Kanye West, who signed him to GOOD Music’s production division production division Very GOOD Beats. His production was even a feature of GOOD Music’s debut compilation album “Cruel Summer” working with the likes of Common, Raekwon, John Legend and his boss over three different tracks.

However, all this work was a diversion from his debut mixtape “Owl Pharaoh”. It was released in 2013 after being started in 2011 and since then, his star has continued to rise rapidly. He’s produced everyone from Jay-Z to Big Sean and seems poised to do great things, with his whole life ahead of him, Travis Scott comes highly recommended.

Live reviews

I was beyond excited for this show! I heard it was supposed to be visually stunning so I was prepared for some high quality views. It was a lot of fun but I have to say, I think my expectations may have been too high. The roller coaster type set up was really fun to watch and the overall lighting and video playing during the show was really cool. Sound on the other hand was rough. In a big arena, sound usually isn't an issue so I think it may have had something to do with Scott's performance. At times it was really hard to tell which song he was singing or where he was at in the song. When he talked to the audience it was super hard to tell what he was saying. Again, I'm not totally positive what was at fault here. We were also disappointed that the big screen wasn't playing the live show, only two smaller screens on the sides that we couldn't see. All in all it was a cool show, but I would probably read more reviews before going to another!

One of the best concerts I have been to, but it seemed sort of unorganized compared to other concerts I have been. But, this is probably due to the fact that the opening act canceled. Instead of the opening act, Drake made a surprise appearance making it all worth it. If Drake would't have shown up though, I'm not sure it would make the list for best concerts I have been to. Since I was GA Floor, I got there about 6 hours early and got second row and got to help Drake over the barrier when he came into the crowd. There was constantly shoving and people having to be removed from the crowd, this was expected though because it was GA. Overall, it was a great experience. My only advise is to get there very early if you want to be near the front.

This concert was AWFUL. Everyone waited at least 4+ hours just to see Travis Scott. Nobody cares about the wack DJ set. He played 3 songs and walked out. We all paid 100-150 dollars for this awful concert. They promoted "the night show" as an actual concert and he was supposed to play for at least 30 minutes. He played maybe for 7 minutes. I want my money back for this wack ass show, as well as everyone else. He promoters Dallas Entertainment are false advertisers, liars, and scammers. Never buying tickets from them again. Waste of time and money.

I've been to tons of concerts and Travis Scott by far has been the best. It was crazy hype from the moment he stepped on stage to the last song. The energy was amazing. He did a great job at getting the crowd excited, everyone was going crazy. He got the crowd so loud that people in the hotel across the street were coming to the windows and watching. It was insane, and soooo much fun. If you have the opportunity to go to a Travis Scott concert 100% you should. It was the most insane and life changing night. Hands down best concert I've been to.

This was by far the best night of my life, I have so much respect for him because he woke up that day feeling like shit and I absolutely love his music. I loved it when he came out onto the floor and gets involved with his fans, sadly I didn't get to be the person he came up to but I am still having concert withdrawal of how much I miss that moment. Please come to Calgary one day with you as the main act because I would pay any price for that, you are the best performer I've ever seen.

Every and any opportunity to go to a Travis Scott concert and see him perform should be taken because the man and his shows are LEGENDARY. General admission shows are cool, but there are so many people that make it somewhat difficult to fully enjoy but that is just part of the experience. If it gets difficult to breathe or there is something wrong though, people will help you and the security is usually very attentive. LA FLAME IS A LEGEND AND HIS PERFORMANCES ARE TO DIE FOR!!!!

Well Travis scott missed his connecting flight so he wasn't there. The festival on its own was great and fun. I would recommend a new bathroom situation, and it would be fun if they had more rides and possibly games. Seating was ok but there is room for improvement. The parking was good a little far. The stage was amazing and the water stations were good but maybe have bigger signs I heard others say it was difficult to locate. Overall good show and fun time.

best performer ive ever seen. he always transfers so so so much energy to the crowd and everyone just goes completely wild. went to the Cleveland show and he surprised us by performing the drop of goosebumps 15 times to break the hall of fame record as his finale. he performed so many good songs that the crowd loved and it was all in all an amazing show. by far the best show ive ever been to. there's so much energy and hype it makes you just feel great.

Honestly best concert I have ever been to, The opener Khalid, was phenomenal. When Travis finally came on he yells over the mic, "This is your last chance to get to the pit come down now!" This unleashed a stampede of fans, including me, to sprint to the pit and hop the barrier. He then proceeded to put on a wild performance of all his classic songs. I made it to the very front row by the end of the concert. Travis is truly a performer for the fans.

Travis Scott Circus Maximus Tour Dates Revealed

After a tentative touring plan was leaked earlier in August, Travis Scott finally revealed the dates for his first significant solo touring run since Houston’s Astroworld tragedy two years ago, bringing Circus Maximus across North America from October through the end of the year.

TOUUUURRRRRRR Readdddddyyy and fe!ninggggg pic.twitter.com/2IYeHPj7G1 — TRAVIS SCOTT (@trvisXX) August 29, 2023

The dates feature many of the same venues of the leaked tour routing that was briefly available earlier in August, though the finalized tour starts later and is missing some of the stops from the rumored plan. Perhaps most notably missing is a concert in Scott’s hometown of Houston.

The newly revealed route for Scott’s tour kicks off on October 11 at Spectrum Center in Charlotte, NC, and runs through a December 29 date at Scotiabank Arena in Toronto. In between, shows are scheduled at venues including MGM Grand Arena (Las Vegas), State Farm Arena (Atlanta), United Center (Chicago), and three NYC-area arenas – Barclays Center in Brooklyn, MSG in Manhattan, and Prudential Center in Newark.

Tickets for Travis Scott Circus Maximus tour dates are on sale this week, with general public sales set to kick off beginning on Thursday, August 31 at 10 a.m. local time to each venue. There are currently no presales indicated on the ticket sales’ sites, but that may change depending on local venue or promoter desires.

Travis Scott Sets 2019 ‘Astroworld: Wish You Were Here’ Tour Dates

  • By Daniel Kreps

Daniel Kreps

Travis Scott has scheduled a second leg of North American dates for the rapper’s Astroworld: Wish You Were Here tour, a trek in support of Scott’s 2018 LP Astroworld .

The 2019 leg of the tour Rolling Stone called “ the greatest show on Earth ” kicks off January 25th in Vancouver, British Columbia and continues through March 24th in Charlotte, North Carolina. Travis Scott had SNL audience in a thrall

The rapper, renowned for his electrifying stage presence, showcased two tracks from his highly acclaimed 2023 album, "UTOPIA," captivating audiences with his signature blend of energy and artistry.

Kicking off the night with "My Eyes," Scott's performance was nothing short of spectacular.

Transforming the stage into a realm of his own creation, the rapper's dynamic delivery was matched only by the pulsating beats and mesmerizing visuals that accompanied his every move.

From the haunting opening notes to the explosive crescendo, Scott held the audience in thrall, proving once again why he's a force to be reckoned with in the world of hip-hop.

But the excitement didn't end there.

For his second performance of the night, Scott was joined on stage by none other than Playboi Carti for the track "FE!N."

The collaboration ignited the stage, with Scott and Carti feeding off each other's energy as they delivered a performance that was nothing short of electric.

Decked out in a black leather ensemble, Scott commanded the stage with his trademark swagger, while Carti brought his own unique flair to the proceedings, resulting in a performance that was nothing short of unforgettable.

In addition to his musical performances, Scott also flexed his comedic chops in a musical sketch alongside host Ramy Youssef , proving that he's not just a talented musician, but a versatile entertainer in his own right.

Scott facing turning point in legal aftermath of Astroworld lawsuit

Ahead of his SNL appearance, Scott released the music video for "FE!N," further stoking anticipation for his live performance.

However, amidst the excitement surrounding his return to the spotlight, Scott finds himself embroiled in legal proceedings stemming from the tragic events at the Astroworld music festival.

Despite the ongoing litigation, Scott remains focused on his craft, continuing to push the boundaries of hip-hop with his innovative sound and dynamic performances.

With his latest album, "UTOPIA," topping the charts and earning critical acclaim, Travis Scott has once again proven why he's one of the most influential artists of his generation.

Bruce Springsteen’s Tour Resumption Is Its Own Kind of Promised Land: Concert Review

An early tour stop in San Diego, on the way to his rescheduled L.A. dates in April, shows that for Springsteen, singing about the souls of the departed and throwing a party for the living are easily balanced twin tasks.

SAN DIEGO, CALIFORNIA - MARCH 25: Bruce Springsteen (R) and Max Weinberg of Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band perform on stage at Pechanga Arena on March 25, 2024 in San Diego, California. (Photo by Daniel Knighton/Getty Images)

Most of the really essential rituals of American life — religious observances; Halloween and New Year’s Eve; opening day in baseball — are cyclical, endlessly repeatable experiences, independent from individuals or cults of personality. But to that list, a lot of us would add the ritual, stretching past 50 years now, of Bruce Springsteen in concert. And as the world found out last year, that guy can take a sick day. So, as if Springsteen tours weren’t already irregular enough, the fresh resumption of this U.S. tour, after a six-month timeout, has an extra resonance.

At San Diego’s Pechanga Arena Monday night, Springsteen and the E Street Band were three gigs into a restart of the tour that was so rudely interrupted by his peptic ulcer last September, after an opening (or reopening) night March 19 in Phoenix, followed by a show in Las Vegas March 22. Some of these audiences have felt the paucity of Springsteen concerts in the past, not future uncertainty. Springsteen hadn’t played Vegas since 2002 when he finally returned last week. In San Diego, the gap had been mysteriously far longer: He had last been in the city to do a show with the E Street Band in 1981, and last performed in San Diego in any capacity — as a solo artist — in ’96.

Springsteen didn’t directly bring up his illness or the postponement of the last leg of the tour when he talked to the audience at the Pechanga Arena, but he did address the absence that’d been on so many local fans’ minds over the last four decades.

Why hadn’t he gotten back to San Diego sooner? Maybe because he felt it’d be too on-the-nose, having name-checked the city so famously in “Rosalita (Come Out Tonight)”? Naturally, when that nearly eight-minute rouser did come up as an encore number Sunday, it got some special treatment for the occasion. Standing on the ramp that extended into the GA section with members of his band, Springsteen halted the song for a 21-second pause following the line “I know a pretty little place in Southern California, down San Diego way,” which, as a prompt for 13,500 people to go wild, probably could been extended a couple of minutes longer.

It’s a little bit surprising that Springsteen had not been back sooner just in that his last SD gig back in 1981 had also been at this same facility, then known as the San Diego Sports Arena. And the place maintains just a little bit of the old-school feel of his former favorite locale further north, the L.A. Sports Arena, which he had dubbed “The Dump That Jumps” before closing it down with a series of final concerts there in 2016. Speaking of things that will all seem funny, it may seem odd to point out the artist’s nostalgia for something as unsentimental as arenas, but he will tend to play the older of those venues when he’s coming to a city with more than one, as he did in San Diego and will when he shortly hits Inglewood’s Forum (his distaste for Staples/Crypto.com Arena being legendary). He’s got a thing for things that have escaped the wrecking ball; the Pechanga Arena has been upgraded above dump status, but on a night like this, it did jump, too.

The faithful haven’t been sure whether to call his 2024 tour (which has a lot of rescheduled North American shows bookending a long summer trip to Europe) a continuation of the aborted 2023 U.S. tour, or something that counts as a new one. It does affect how songs are counted or not counted as “tour premieres” in the inevitable collation of setlists — which really boils it down to an especially first-world problem. The artist himself had a point of view on that when asked about it on the E Street Radio satelite channel earlier this month, saying, “There will be some things from last year’s tour that will hold over; some of my basic themes of mortality and life and those things, you know, I’m going to keep set… (But) I think I’m gonna move around the other parts of the set a lot more, so there’ll be a much wider song selection going on. So we’re looking at it like it’s a little bit of the old tour, but we’re looking at it like a new tour.”

Looking at what’s gone from last year, “Kitty’s Back” is no longer back, and “Glory Days” and “Out in the Street” are also out, along with semi-regular staples like “The E Street Shuffle,” “Candy’s Room” and “Johnny 99.” But since the show still clocks in at a very healthy 27 songs, spread out over about two hours and 40 minutes, additions are in place, like his 1973 debut album’s “Spirit in the Night,” which has been played at all three shows so far, after only getting two plays total in all of 2022. His cover of the Ben E. King/Aretha Franklin classic “Don’t Play That Song (You Lied)” (as heard on his soul covers abum two years ago) also looks like it may be a nighty regular now, after having been bumped out of the set after a handful of appearances in February 2022. The change-ups distinct to San Diego in the fresh run of shows included his first performance of “My City of Ruins” since 2017, plus the revival of his “Detroit Medley,” which was performed only three times last year. “Death to My Hometown” and, in the encore, “Bobby Jean” also made what have recently counted as rare appearances.

What remains rock-solid from last year are the vast majority of songs a casual fan might be coming to hear, mostly from the 1973-84 era, although service is also paid to the “Rising” and “Wrecking Ball” albums and the two most recent releases that he is ostensibly touring behind, “Letter to You” and “Only the Strong Survive.” Songs that would be set-closers for anyone else are thrown in almost in random spots, until it becomes a sheer onslaught of classics. Rest assured that the show’s final stretch will allow everyone to resume ongoing internal debate over whether “Born to Run” is the quintessential rock song of all time, or whether that honor is rightly reserved by “Thunder Road.” (Team “Thunder,” here, after 49 years of consideration.)

It counts as a thunderously upbeat best-of show, in other words. But it’s an exhilarating greatest-hits show sandwiched within momentarily sobering ruminatings about death, and death’s effect on the living. Which is quite a hoagie.

Also still a staple of the show from last year is another one of those recent songs about remembering missing loved ones, “I’ll See You in My Dreams,” as a final benediction after the celebratory encore material.

On top of this, Springsteen has made some other additions to the show, whether for the entirety of the remaining tour or as recurring one-offs, that further reinforce this theme. For instance, the show no longer begins every night with “No Surrender” (which is still in the set, pushed back a bit); he’s replaced it with the brooding “Lonesome Day,” one of the 9/11-prompted songs from “The Rising.” As he thought about what kind of messaging to start these new concerts with, maybe Springsteen’s bout with illness made him realize that we all have to succumb to some surrendering now and again. More likely, it has something to do with providing an opening bookend to “I’ll See You in My Dreams” at the beginning — starting the show with an anxious response to death at the outset, so that his calming thoughts about it at the end feel like the conclusion to some kind of story.

In adding “My City of Ruins” to the set for the first time in seven years, Springsteen also used that as a bed for more of these thoughts, on top of full-band intros, extending that gospel-like ballad to 11 minutes in length — less than a third of the way into the running time. “I plan on sending you home with your feet hurting, your ass hurting, your sexual organs stimulated,” Springsteen promised during the “Ruins” spoken interlude, before getting down to business about having “a story to tell. It’s a story about yesterday and about tonight and hopefully tomorrow. It’s about hellos and goodbyes. It’s about the things that leave us and the things that remain.” After introducing the extended band (E Street Horns and E Street Choir included), he asked, “Are we missing anybody?” The crowd roared with implicit Clarence Clemons/Danny Federici appreciation. “Everybody’s missing somebody at this point,” he affirmed. “I don’t know where we go when this is all over, but I know where we remain. The only thing I can guarantee tonight is, if you’re here and we’re here, then they’re here.”

Spaced out over the better part of three hours, these reflections aren’t going to hit anyone in the crowd as heavy-handed; if anything, they’re just barely enough in making the obvious point that everyone present who’s been with him for the long haul has probably been spending more time in hospital rooms or at funerals than revving up hemi-powered drones. Fortunately, there’s a timelessness to most of the classics that transcends youth, even if some of the aspirational dreams in the early material are long since in rear-view mirrors for much of the audience. “Let the broken hearts stand as the price you’ve gotta pay”: some things can sung along with at 18 or 88.

The stage for this tour is almost hilariously basic, if you’ve been to any major superstar outings lately, and witnessed the bizarre shapes of the ramps that extend into SRO floors and practically twist around each other. Springsteen’s ramp doesn’t look to extend much more more than 15 feet into the audience, as if to dare the incoming audience to imagine how much he can do with just a minimum of thrust staging. (Honestly, we’re trying to keep this as clean as we can here.) He spent plenty of time on that modest extension, which allows plenty of room for camera angles catching the surrounding crowd, and for occasional visits from mobile band members and backup singers, without having to go so far out into the crowd that it looks like he’s, you know, overcompensating.

As is tradition, he and some of his traveling accompanists occasionally visited the rear riser, which now holds a five-man horn section, to provide eye candy for the audience watching from behind the stage. Everyone turning around to give the folks in the so-called cheap seats a thrill is especially nice when it’s timed to one of his great key changes, as it was in the instrumental bridge of the Pogues-like “Death to My Hometown.”

Memorable moments stand out almost randomly: Nils Lofgren going crazy on “Because the Night,” making up for the lack of solo time he gets as one of three guitarists by doing a whole night’s worth of shredding in one tune… Saxophonist Jake Clemons leaning on Springsteen’s shoulder during “Prove It All Night,” in what has to be a subtle but intentional inverse of his late uncle Clarence’s famous “Born to Run” cover pose… A moment when backup vocalist Curtis King joins Springsteen on the ramp during “Nightshift” for a few modest steps in unison. (Guaranteed, the only actual dance choreography of the night.)… Springsteen taking a sign from the audience and saving it for much later so that he could dedicate “Last Man Standing” to a specific fallen serviceman.

Meanwhile, here’s an advisory for anyone coming to the tour down the road: plan for traffic and invest in a watch. The tickets say 7:30 p.m., and so far on this leg, that is exactly the minute the band walks on stage. The ultra-prompt start allows Springsteen and company to prove it for what still feels like all night, yet get everyone home before the witching hour. It’s true: a benevolent boss is always looking out for everyone’s health.

Travis Scott Speaks Out in 1st Interview Since Astroworld Tragedy

The rapper spoke about the "emotional roller coaster" and his level of responsibility in the wake of his nov. 5 concert in houston, where 10 people died, by scott stump | today • published december 9, 2021 • updated on december 9, 2021 at 10:13 am.

Travis Scott has opened up in his first interview about the "emotional roller coaster" in the wake of the Astroworld festival last month in which 10 people died in a massive crowd surge at his show in Houston.

The 30-year-old rapper spoke in a 51-minute  interview with radio and TV personality Charlamagne Tha God  released on Thursday about his reaction to the tragedy and his level of responsibility for it.

"It really hurts," Scott said. "It hurts the community; it hurts the city. It’s just been a lot of thoughts, a lot of feelings, a lot of grieving and just trying to wrap my head around it.

Get San Diego local news, weather forecasts, sports and lifestyle stories to your inbox. Sign up for NBC San Diego newsletters.

"I really just want to be there. Wish you could just hold everyone, talk to them, have conversations.”

Scott said he wasn't aware until after the concert that people had died, others had been hospitalized and hundreds had been injured in a crowd stampede toward the stage during his hourlong set on Nov. 5 at NRG Park.

"It wasn’t really until like minutes until the press conference until I figured out exactly what happened," he said. "Even after the show, you’re just kind of hearing things, but I didn’t know the exact details.

"No idea. People pass out, things happen at concerts, but something like that?"

He was then asked why the concert went on for another 40 minutes after officials declared it a mass casualty event.

“They told me, ‘Right after the guests get on stage, we’re going to end the show.’ And that’s what we did. Other than that, there was no communication,” Scott said.

Scott then said he was not told to stop the show.

He said he did not hear anyone yelling for help during the performance. Video footage showed him briefly stopping the concert multiple times.

"Any time you can hear something like that, you want to stop the show," he said. "I stopped it a couple times to make sure everything’s OK. You can only help what you can see and whatever you’re told. Whenever somebody tells you to stop, you stop."

Scott, promoter Live Nation, Apple Music and others are facing hundreds of lawsuits stemming from the show. A lawsuit  seeking more than $750 million  was filed on behalf of at least 125 victims last month, and nearly 200 people  filed 93 lawsuits  through civil rights attorney Ben Crump that Crump said target both Scott and Live Nation. The $750 million suit lists Scott, the rapper Drake, who joined Scott halfway through the concert, Apple Music, which was streaming the festival, and others as defendants.

He was asked in the interview if he has a responsibility for what happened.

“I have a responsibility to figure out what happened here," he said. "I have a responsibility to figure out the solution. And hopefully, this takes a first step for us as artists — having that more insight of what’s going on.”

Scott’s legal team  filed requests  on Monday for multiple lawsuits against him to be dismissed. The lawsuits have been consolidated and will be handled by one judge after an order issued on Tuesday by the Board of Judges of the Civil Trial Division of the Harris County District Courts in Houston, according to  The Associated Press .

Scott’s attorneys maintain he is not legally liable, and sources close to Scott  previously told NBC News  that he was not aware of the deadly crush in the crowd while performing.

Scott was also asked who is ultimately responsible for what happened.

"I don’t want to speak too soon; I just want to figure out what happened," he said. "As artists, we just leave this up to professionals to make sure fans are having a good time, people are protected, leave and have the best experience ever."

Scott has been cited in the past for rowdy behavior at his concerts. He was  arrested in 2015  and pleaded guilty to reckless conduct after a concert in Chicago, where police said he encouraged the crowd to rush the stage and ignore security. He also pleaded guilty to disorderly conduct in 2017 after being  arrested on suspicion of inciting a riot  at a concert in Arkansas.

Families of Astroworld Victims Turn Down Travis Scott Offer to Pay for Funerals

$750 Million Lawsuit Filed Against Travis Scott, Drake on Behalf of Astroworld Victims

Charlamagne Tha God asked if the "raging" culture of high energy at his concerts contributed to the incident in Houston.

"No, I think it’s something I’ve been working on for a while of just creating these experiences," Scott said. "Us as artists, we trust professionals to make sure that if things happen, people leave safely.

"And this night was like a regular show, it felt like to me as far as the energy. People didn’t show up there to just be harmful. People just showed up to have a good time and something unfortunate happened, and I think we’ve really just got to figure out what that was."

Scott has offered to  pay for the funeral costs  of those who died at the show, which s ome of the families have rejected .

"All things are understandable," he said about the rejections. "At the time they’re grieving and trying to find understanding, they want answers. I’ve got to just continue to show up for that.”

He was asked what he would say to the grieving families.

"I’ll say to them that I’m always here," he said. "I’m in this with you guys and I love you, and I’ll always be there to help you guys heal through this.

"It’s not just a right-now thing, it’s a forever thing. These people who came to the show, they are my family. I’ve always had that connection to people who listened to the music or came to my shows."

"I want everyone to just continue praying for the fans that was lost," he continued. "I want to continue praying for the families."

No police charges for Taylor Swift’s dad over paparazzi incident in Sydney

Taylor Swift’s father will not be charged over a paparazzi photographer’s claim that Scott Swift assaulted him on the Sydney waterfront hours after the pop star’s Australian tour ended last month.

Photographer Ben McDonald had alleged that one of Swift’s security guards forced an umbrella into his face and camera and that Scott Swift then punched him at the Neutral Bay Wharf, where the father and daughter had just come ashore from a yacht Feb. 27.

Taylor Swift’s representatives responded by accusing members of the media of aggression during the interaction.

Police began investigating the incident at the time and announced Wednesday that “no further police action” would be taken.

“No offences were detected, and the investigation was concluded with no further police action required,” said the statement from the New South Wales Police Force.

More than 600,000 fans saw the Australian leg of her Eras Tour at seven Australian stadium concerts.

Her tour shattered records when it reportedly surpassed $1 billion last year , and her film adaptation of the tour quickly took No. 1 at the box office and became the highest-grossing concert film to date.
