We also conduct graffiti walking tours and workshops. BROOKLYN: we conduct sightseeing tours of Brooklyn and surrounding areas. Public tours depart daily. Private tours are available by foot or vehicle. Top neighborhoods include Williamsburg, Bushwick and DUMBO. We also provide nostalgia tours for visiting the old neighborhood in Brooklyn. We also offer Dyker Heights Christmas lights tours. We can provide a vehicle for you if necessary. …

I took the Flatbush Caribbean tour. What i liked was that it was not a packaged style tour. It was more like walking through a neighborhood with a well-informed local person and getting to meet lots of people along the way: shop keepers, and people who lived in the neighborhood. You heard their stories: where they came from and how long they lived there. We visited the old Dutch Reform church, Barbara Streisand's and Sylvester Stallone's high school, and a lot of other places. The tours cost $39 and ours included lunch and a small gift from one of the shopkeepers: a Bob Marley wooden guitar key chain. Jeff our guide is knowledgeable and seems to thoroughly enjoy doing this.

My boyfriend and I took Jeff's Williamsburg Walking Tour which I would recommend for both Brooklynites and tourists alike! Jeff catered to our interests, taking us outside Hipsterville of Bedford St (cute shops and great people-watching) and informatively showing us the Marcy Houses (Jay-Z), old Brooklyn Financial District, etc. He is obviously passionate about his hometown and shared insight on the shops, eats, and history of the area. If you are looking for a non-conventional, personalized tour at a reasonable price, check out Brooklyn Unplugged!

My partner and I took the Brooklyn Unplugged tour in Flatbush a few weeks ago. It's definitely not a normal tour, but I mean that in a good way. It's very hard as a tourist to get into the skin of a community and unplugged tours actually achieves this. I'm not going to give away too much about the tour but go with an open mind, talk to the people you're introduced to, ask as many questions as you can think of. You can walk away from this tour with an intimate understanding of a vibrant New York community. Thanks Jeff (our tour guide) for an awesome afternoon and the fantastic meal.
