Emirates Airline, EK (known as "Emirates")

Flight listing policy and procedures, flights excluded, check-in time required, through check-in, useful extra information.

• Emirates requires all Standby passengers to have a listing prior to departure. Listings will not be handled by our Contact Centres nor at the Airport/check in desks, but will be  actioned by our Interline Listing Application or myIDtravel - as per below conditions.
• - Staff passengers whose tickets have been issued by EK (176 document) via myIDtravel must use the same website for their listings.
• - All other interline staff passengers on Emirates (ie other than those ticketed by EK (176) via myIDtravel), should login to Listing Application. - Complete the data required and submit the application for listing. - Once listed, the interline staff will receive a listed PNR and revalidated ticket by email.
• In order to log in to the above mentioned site, kindly contact your Staff Travel office for the relevant URL or User Name & Password.
• In the event that the above application is unavailable, kindly send your listing requirement to [email protected]  48 hours prior to travel (FYI _ Our weekend is Sat-Sun) To enable your listing we need the following details: - Name of Passeneger/s, Ticket Number, Flights, Dates, Sectors, Employee ID, Date of Hire, Telephone contact. - For children and infant we will need Date of Birth. - Where TSA rules apply, we will require Passport number, nationality place of issue, date of expiry.

Your listing will be initiated and/or completed only if the IET is issued as per the ZEDMIBA SBY IET standards. Do ensure that your PC/Laptop has no Pop-Up blockers or firewall restrictions which may stop you from logging onto the site. 

• EK Flight series 4000-7999, 9000-9999 and 2000-2999.
• All flights not operated by EK
• Economy: 20 Kgs and 1 PC
•  Business: 30 Kgs and 1 PC 

Cabin baggage

• Presently for interline staff EK does not haveself-service check-in kiosks (SSCKs).
• For tickets issued via myIDtravel, or when revalidated by EK Listing Application, your ETReceipt will display the check-in time. For further details refer www.emirates.com

Multi-Risk Travel insurance

Back-up tickets

• EK expect all interline employees to carry back up tickets issued by their employing carrier. EK will not issue ZED tickets for interliners. EK's myidtravel partner airlines can purchase via myIDTravel portals only.

Who we are looking for

To be considered for Emirates cabin crew you’ll need to be:

Fluent in written and spoken English (additional languages are an advantage) A natural team player with a personality that shines At least 160cm tall and able to reach 212cm high Able to meet the UAE’s employment visa requirements At least 21 years old And have:

At least 1 year of hospitality or customer service experience A minimum of high school (Grade 12) education No visible tattoos while in Emirates cabin crew uniform

Starting Monthly Salary: Grade II (Economy Class)

Your pay is made up of three components: a fixed basic salary, an hourly pay for operated flights and an overseas meal allowance. Basic salaryAED 4,835 / monthFlying PayAED 66.30 / hour based on avg. 80-100 hours / monthAverage monthly PayAED 10,802 / month (~USD 2,940, EUR 2,755 or GBP 2,330)* These are approximate numbers for Grade II (Economy Class)Meal allowances for night stops are credited to the salary in arrears the following month. Hotel accommodation as well as transport to and from the airport is provided by the company.

Concessional travel

Staff travel benefits on Emirates Airline can be availed as per the Staff Travel Manual. Staff travel benefits on other airlines can be availed as per inter-airline agreements/policies.

Accommodation

Furnished accommodation is provided free of charge, including utilities -water, electricity. Two/three colleagues (same gender) share a two/three bedroom apartment and each have their own bedroom but share the kitchen and the living area. Two people may have to share a second bathroom in some three-bedroom apartments. Once probationary period is complete you may request to move to another apartment pending availability. Due to varying rosters of occupants and to ensure security, there are no visitors allowed past 01:00 unless they are Emirates (EK) crew. You may have two family members visit at the same time and stay in your accommodation twice a year for a maximum of 30 days each visit.

How do I reach Emirates Skywards?

The Emirates Skywards loyalty program doesn’t have a separate phone number. You’ll have to dial the standard helpline at 800-777-3999 or use the live chat feature for questions regarding award flights, including placing flights on hold and booking partner awards.

As an Emirates Skywards member looking to redeem miles with FlyDubai, an Emirates’ partner, you have access to special email addresses, which differ based on your elite level in the program.

How do I offer feedback or send a complaint to Emirates?

For passengers looking to share their experience with the airline, Emirates offers two options: submit feedback and file a complaint. You can do so by filling out this form . To simplify the process, log in to your Emirates Skywards account, and your personal details will populate in the form.

Keep in mind that this form isn’t useful for upcoming or current travel and it’s best to call the Emirates customer service phone number in those cases.

Only tickets purchased directly with Emirates can be refunded through the contact form. This includes tickets booked through an Emirates contact center, an Emirates ticket office or Emirates.com.

If you purchased your ticket through a travel agent, you must contact them directly, unless it’s been more than 24 months since you booked travel.

As usual, per the U.S. Department of Transportation rules, tickets that originate in the United States are eligible for a full refund if you cancel within 24 hours.
