Dear Veena World Team, We are finally back home from our Shimla-Manali trip (*****/*****) with a heartful of wonderful memories. Itinerary (Day Wise)

Delhi – shimla (1 night).

Tour guests will arrive at Delhi airport early in the morning as per their scheduled flight. Upon arrival they will meet Veena World tour manager at the airport and proceed to Shimla. We enjoy a stroll on the famous Mall road of Shimla and view Shimla Church, Scandal point, the Ridge etc.

Shimla – Manali (3 Nights)

Today we proceed to Manali, en route we drive past Pandoh Dam and Scenic Kullu Valley. During our tea halt we visit Kullu Shawl factory. In the evening we arrive at Manali – gorgeous hill station located in the heart of snowy mountains.

Manali – Solang Valley – Manali

Today we drive through the new tourist hotspot Atal Tunnel (Subject to Operation) – world's longest tunnel at an altitude of 10,040 feet. Later we proceed to Solang Valley – a splendid valley in Solang village offering magnificent views of the glaciers and snow-capped mountains. Here we enjoy a Ropeway ride and admire the Himalayan mountains. Guests with an adventurous spirit can experience thrilling activities like Paragliding, Biking, Trekking and Hiking at an additional cost.

• Tea/Coffee at Solang Valley

Today a spectacular drive will take us to Rohtang Road Snow Point. We have free time to play in the snow and click pictures to our heart’s content. Later we visit Hidimba Mandir – set amidst the snow-covered hills of Manali, this temple is a unique shrine dedicated to Hidimba Devi and Himalayan Nyinmapa Tibetan Buddhist Monastery – known for its architectural beauty. We then have free time for shopping. Please Note: Rohtang pass is 51 kms away from Manali. This Pass is not accessible for almost 8 months in a year, as it is covered by snow. We generally visit the snow point on Rohtang road, which has been permitted by the Border Security Force. Also note: Snow clothes, jackets and gum boots are available on rent in the shops located on Rohtang Road, you can rent it at an additional cost if needed.

Manali – Chandigarh (1 Night)

Today we proceed to Chandigarh – the first planned city of India designed by renowned French architecture Le Corbusier. Upon arrival we check in to our hotel and relax.

Chandigarh – Delhi – Departure

Today we visit Rock Garden – a garden full of sculptures is completely built from industrial waste, scraps, home waste and thrown-away items. It’s time now to say goodbye to our travel companions. Let’s stay in touch with each other through email, phone, WhatsApp, Facebook, Instagram and meet again on yet another memorable tour. See you all!! Tour Guests will proceed to Delhi airport as per their scheduled flight and start their return journey back home. Tour Concludes. Please Note: All guests must follow the mandatory requirements for travel, such as RT-PCR tests, vaccination certificate, web check-in, self-declaration, e-pass formalities etc. as per the state/country, which are subject to change periodically. Any cost incurred for such requirements should be borne by the guests. For transfers and sightseeing we will use small cars / Tempo Travellers / Mini or big coaches depending on the respective tour group size. In case of small cars there will be 4-6 guests in one car. If you wish to utilise the vehicle solely for yourself or your family or you would like to upgrade the vehicle, we can arrange the same at an additional cost subject to availability. Given the current dynamic situation some monuments or sightseeing places may be closed temporarily without any prior notice; in such cases every attempt will be made to visit an alternate sightseeing if possible.

• It is also recommended that you have one cross shoulder bag or haversack for your handy needs which will ensure that you are comfortable at the time of sightseeing and also easy for photography during your tour.

Day 1 : Arrive at Chandigarh – Shimla  120 Km / 3 Hrs

Pick up from Chandigarh Railway Station by exclusive vehicle. Drive to Shimla .On Arrival in Shimla , Check in hotel and take some rest . Day free for rest. Dinner and overnight stay.

Day 2 : Shimla local sight seeing

Morning after breakfast proceed for local sightseeing. Today’s Sightseeings:

Day 3 : Shimla Kufri Naldehra

After Breakfast visit to the famous picnic spots around Shimla. These include

• Fagu – A famous basecamp for trekkers, nature lovers and botanists who wish to explore Shimla’s gorgeous countryside.
• Kufri – Enjoy horse / Yak ride, see Himalayan national park at Kufri.
• Naldehra and Mashobra – See apple orchards at Mashobra, Golf course and Jungle walks in Naldehra.

On return, visit to the years old Tara Devi Temple, Sankat Mochan Temple. Overnight Stay in Shimla. Dinner & Night Stay in Hotel in Shimla.

Day 4 : Shimla – Manali 250 Km / 7 Hrs Kullu Manikaran

After Breakfast , Drive to Manali (7-8 Hours) & on the way visit kullu & Manikran, valley of Gods, is a combination of natural splendour and rich cultural heritage. On the way stop a while at Pandoh and Kullu. Rest of the day at leisure. Night stay in Manali.

Day 4 : Manali Rohtang Pass / Snow Point

Early Morning proceed for full day tour of Rohtang Pass – The majesty of the mountains and the glaciers can be seen at their best After enjoying this snowy heaven, take a sledge ride down the slopes & try luck by climbing the little snow hills. Shimla is the capital of Himachal Pradesh and a popular hill-station among Indian families and honeymooners. The weather is pleasant for most of the months with tourists flocking especially during the summer months. The winters are cold with some days of snow from mid-December till February end. Manali is one of the most popular hill stations in Himachal, Manali offers the most magnificent views of the Pir Panjal and the Dhauladhar ranges covered with snow for most parts of the year.

How to Reach Shimla

A road journey to Shimla is a visual delight. The hill station enjoys excellent connectivity with neighbouring cities such as New Delhi (350 km), Dehradun (230 km) and Chandigarh (115 km) through well-maintained national highways.

Shimla Airport or Jubbarhatti Airport, about 20 km from the city, is the closest domestic airport serving this beautiful hill station. There are regular flights for Shimla from cities such as New Delhi and Chandigarh. There are five flights available per week from Delhi as of now. Delhi to Shimla by flight is a time saving option also for all the weekends.

3 Nights 4 Days

After arriving at Delhi Airport/ Railway Station, guests reach Volvo Pickup Point (on their own) in the evening. They embark on the Volvo Bus from Delhi to Shimla. This would be an overnight journey from Delhi to Shimla. Next morning guests reach Shimla.

Day : 02 : Shimla Pickup Local Sightseeing

This morning guests get to arrive at Shimla Volvo Point. Our representative will pick up our guests from the Volvo pickup point and we move to the hotel for check in and fresh-up. Post check-in we move for City Tour tour of Shimla and adjoining places. We visit Sankat Mochan Temple, Indian Institute of advanced studies, Lakkar Bazar . Rest of the day is free to explore various scenic spots enroute or visit mall road , enjoy shopping. By the evening we are back to our hotel for dinner and overnight stay.

Day : 03 : Shimla – Kullu – Manali

This morning after breakfast guests check out from the hotel and leave for Manali. En-route we go for sightseeing like Beas river, Pandoh Dam, Hanogi Mata Temple, Aut Tunnel . Further by the end of our journey we reach kullu . In our excursion to Kullu guests can do River Rafting (on their own expenses) and shopping of World famous Pashmina Shawls . Next we visit the famous Vaishno Devi Mata Temple on the way towards Manali. We reach Manali Check-in at the hotel, have Dinner & Overnight Stay at our pre booked Hotel.

Day : 04 : Manali City Tour & Local Sightseeing

This morning after breakfast we move for local sightseeing of Manali. We start with the "HADIMBA DEVI TEMPLE" . This cave temple was built in 1553 by Maharaja Bahadur Singh with a superbly crafted four tiered pagoda roof, it is famous for its exquisitely carved doorway. Next we move to "CLUB HOUSE" .The Club House has comprehensive facilities that include a roller skating rink, an auditorium, billiards rooms, a library, a bar and restaurant makes wonderful outing for the day. Adventurous souls can also try their hand at zip-lining where one has to cross a river using ropeway. Next we move towards Tibetan Monastery, Van Vihar which are located near the famous Mall Road of Manali at a walking distance. After visiting the above we move across Beas river to the Vashisth Village which is well known for its hot springs. There are old temple dedicated to the sage Vashisth and to Lord Rama is believed to be more than 4000 years old. After covering the sightseeing we move towards our pre-booked hotel at Manali for dinner and overnight stay.

This morning after breakfast we check out from our hotel and leave for Naggar Town near Manali .In naggar we visit Naggar Castle . The Castle in Naggar is a medieval mansion of wood and stone that overlooks the beautiful valley of Kullu. Next we visit Nicholas Roerich Art Gallery And Museum. The building houses the gallery once served as the residence of Nicholas Roerich . Himachal Pradesh Government and Russian Government have formed a trust to run this art gallery as the Roerich Heritage Museum. Paintings of Kullu, Spiti and Lahaul made by the painter have been housed in the ground floor of the gallery. Next we move to Kais Monastery . The monastery gives a magical look and it has been strongly dedicated to Dalai Lama. The monastery serves as a boarding school and university for the study of Buddhist philosophy. This monastery houses several Tibetan monks. This Monastery has a huge prayer hall with a huge Buddha statue. Next we visit Kullu . Kullu is a hot-spot for adventure sports. Trekking, river rafting, mountaineering, paragliding and hiking over the Himalayan glaciers are some of the activities that Kullu offers. We visit vaishno devi temple at Kullu. Vaishno Devi Temple in Kullu is another example of an idyllic sacred place in Himachal Pradesh. The surrounding of the temple is outstanding, covered with mountains and scenic locations. We visit Kullu Shawl Factories for shopping. Kullu pashmina shawls are famous all over India and are recognized to be of the best quality. By the evening our representative will drop our guests at Manali Volvo Drop Off point. Guests embark the volvo. This would be an overnight journey from Manali to Delhi. Next day guests reach Delhi and continue their journey home.

Tour guests will arrive at Chandigarh airport as per their scheduled flight. Upon arrival they will meet Veena World tour manager at the airport and proceed to Shimla. Today we enjoy a stroll on the famous Mall road of Shimla and view Shimla Church, Scandal point, the Ridge etc. Late evening we check-in to our hotel. Day 2 : Day 2 Shimla Shimla> Manali Shimla – Manali (3 Nights)

Today we proceed to Manali, en route we drive past the Beas Sutlej Link Project, Pandoh Dam and Scenic Kullu Valley. During our tea halt we visit Kullu Shawl factory. In the evening we arrive at Manali – gorgeous hill station located in the heart of snowy mountains. Day 3 : Day 3 Manali Manali

Today a spectacular drive will take us to Rohtang Road Snow Point. We have free time to play in the snow and click pictures to our heart’s content. Later we visit Hidimba Mandir – set amidst the snow-covered hills of Manali, this temple is a unique shrine dedicated to Hidimba Devi and Himalayan Nyinmapa Tibetan Buddhist Monastery – known for its architectural beauty. We then have free time for shopping. In the evening we enjoy bonfire with traditional Himachali Folk Dance followed by dinner. Please Note: Rohtang pass is 51 kms away from Manali. This Pass is not accessible for almost 8 months in a year, as it is covered by snow. We generally visit the snow point on Rohtang road, which has been permitted by the Border Security Force. Also note: Snow clothes, jackets and gum boots are available on rent in the shops located on Rohtang Road, you can rent it at an additional cost if needed. Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner Tea/Coffee and Instant Noodles at Rohtang Snow Point

Today we drive through the new tourist hotspot Atal Tunnel (Subject to Operation) – world's longest tunnel at an altitude of 10,040 feet. We view the Sissu Waterfall. Later we proceed to Solang Valley – a splendid valley in Solang village offering magnificent views of the glaciers and snow-capped mountains. Here we enjoy a Ropeway ride and admire the Himalayan mountains. Guests with an adventurous spirit can experience thrilling activities like Paragliding, Biking, Trekking and Hiking at an additional cost.
