100 Famous People Who Have Entertained The Troops On USO Tours

Celebrity Lists

As a way to thank United States troops for their service, the United Service Organizations (USO) plans a variety of events to entertain soldiers overseas. The non-profit began in 1941, in partnership with the Department of War, and then later with the Department of Defense.

Over the years, many celebrities have given their time and talents, traveling to foreign countries to provide soldiers with much-needed entertainment. These practices have been around since World War II in the 1940s, extending to the Vietnam War and eventually to the Iraq war at the beginning of the century. Whether it's a concert, a meet-and-greet, or a film screening, these events have lifted the morale of US troops in a special way.

This list of USO entertainers is full of recognizable names, including Hollywood legends Marilyn Monroe and Bob Hope as well as modern celebrities such as Charlize Theron and Bryan Cranston. One of the most involved current USO entertainers is country singer Kellie Pickler, who has 12 USO tours under her belt as of 2019.

Keep reading to find out about all of the celebrities who have been involved with the USO in the past. You'll find singers, comedians, actors, and even celebrity chefs on this list.

About girl in red

The alternative pop artist from Oslo, born Marie Ulven - is continuing her path to world domination, kicking off 2022 with a  Best New Alternative Artist

nomination for the iHeart Radio Music Awards.

It’s a well-deserved nod, considering she was the most played female artist on Alt Radio with “Serotonin”. The song reached #2 and spent 30 weeks on the Alt chart, 21 of those weeks in the Top 10. “Serotonin” streams currently surpass 84M for the track, with over 1.85 billion career streams to date.

girl in red spent much of 2022 on her first headline tour since the release of her debut album; she had a robust run across North America with major festival highlights including Coachella and Lollapalooza. She also had monster sets at Oya, Glastonbury and a sold out headline show at NYC’s famed Pier 17. A passionate live performer she will continue to tour, up next is a UK & EU headline run in 2023, including a sold out show at O2 Academy Brixton.

Ulven released her critically acclaimed debut album  if i could make it go quiet  in 2021, to world-wide critical acclaim from fans and critics alike. Celebrity supporters included Taylor Swift and Camilla Cabello and more. Press response was astoundingly positive, with many outlets proclaiming it  “Best of 2021”  including but not limited to Rolling Stone, Billboard, Variety, NPR, Stereogum, NYLON  and more.

In 2021, she also performed on  The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon  and  Late Night With Seth Meyers , as well as TV performances worldwide including but not limited to  Skavlan ,  Late Night Berlin  and  MTV’s EMA s.

About OWENN

This Summer, OWENN, the talented multi-hyphenate, brought his enigmatic spirit and smokey sense of soul to the forefront as he formally introduced himself on his debut tour, highlighted by a Main Stage East show at Lollapalooza Paris; OWENN carried the momentum from Europe having just recently opened for Lil Nas X on the two sold out New York, Radio City Music Hall shows – Long Live Montero Tour.

OWENN has attracted attention contributing dance moves on stages worldwide with A-list artists such as Beyoncé, Rihanna, Taylor Swift, Miley Cyrus, Lady Gaga, Alicia Keys, Megan Thee Stallion, Normani and others. Including, most recently working with Lil Nas X to choreograph his tv performances for MTV VMAs and live show appearances on the iHeart Jingle Ball Tour.  OWENN became a staple of Taylor Swift’s show on her  1989 Tour  and  Reputation Tour .  In 2019, he starred alongside Taylor in her video for “ Lover ,” as well as Normani in her video for “ Motivation ”.

Taylor Swift’s Eras era just got extended with new tour dates in U.S. and Canada

Hang on to those friendship bracelets, Swifties; Taylor Swift is firmly staying in her Eras tour era through 2024.

The superstar on Thursday announced another expansion of her massive stadium tour, adding 15 dates in North America next year, including a long-awaited six-night stint in Canada.

“Turns out it’s NOT the end of an era Miami, New Orleans, Indy and Toronto: The Eras Tour is coming to you in 2024,” the “Anti-Hero” singer tweeted and posted on Instagram. Eras tour vet Gracie Abrams will join Swift for the new shows, which begin in mid-October of next year and run through November.

  • Taylor Swift reportedly gives Eras tour truckers $100K bonuses

The Grammy winner kicks off her sold-out Los Angeles tour stop Thursday, with six shows planned at SoFi Stadium in Inglewood — her longest stay in a single city so far. Nearly half a million concertgoers are set to descend on SoFi, with additional shows set for Friday, Saturday, Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday. Experts estimate the weeklong run could bring as much as $150 million in spending to the area, a welcome figure in a local economy struck by Hollywood’s writers’ and actors’ strikes and a hotel workers’ strike that could affect visitors.

The Aug. 9 show at SoFi was meant to close out the U.S. leg of the tour, but given Swift’s latest announcement, it will do so only for now. The hitmaker next jets off for shows in Mexico, South America, Asia, Australia and Europe through August 2024.

The tour will return to the United States in October 2024 with three shows in Miami, three in New Orleans, three in Indianapolisand six in Toronto. The Rogers Centre shows in Canada appear to mark the end of the ever-expanding tour — also for now.

The popularity of the 33-year-old’s music, her marketing savvy and her understanding of the modern digital news cycle have kept her at the forefront of the cultural conversation since the tour launched in March. The 44-song setlist includes a “surprise song” each night and often a celebrity guest.

The record-breaking road tour, teeming with viral moments, has provided a financial jolt to nearly every city it has stopped in and a legitimate 2.3-magnitude earthquake in Seattle last week.

The “Shake It Off” singer’s tour is expected to rake in more than $1 billion by the time it wraps next year. It already has transformed the American concert business with its sheer scale and ravenous fan demand, The Times reported. When tickets went on sale in November, Ticketmaster famously crashed under the pressure of millions of would-be customers, spurring a congressional antitrust investigation into the ticketing platform’s parent company, Live Nation Entertainment.

(Los Angeles Times music critic Mikael Wood and staff writer August Brown contributed to this report.)

Important information for buying tickets during the TaylorSwiftTix Presale powered by Verified Fan:

Our goal is to maximize the number of fans who have an opportunity to shop.

The link in your text will direct you to the show you were selected for — either a show that was available during registration or a show that was announced after registration closed.

If you were selected for a show available during registration, your code will enable you to shop  that  show  or any show in the same city  that was announced after registration closed. (You will not be able to shop a different show that was available during registration).

If you were selected for a show announced after registration closed — i.e., the link in your text directs you to one of those shows — your code is good for that show. We recommend you use the code for that show as it will have the greatest availability for you. If you choose, you can use your code instead for the show you prioritized first during registration; however, we expect demand for that show to be higher and your wait to be longer.

Remember, each code only allows you to purchase 6 tickets.

Taylor Swift Announces 2023 U.S. Stadium Tour

By Madison Bloom

Taylor Swift at the 2022 MTV VMAs

Taylor Swift has announced a massive 2023 stadium tour. Dubbed the Eras Tour, it begins in March 2023 and stretches into August. Guests on the tour include Phoebe Bridgers, Haim, Paramore, Beabadoobee, Gayle, Girl in Red, Gracie Abrams, Muna, and Owenn. Find her full schedule below.

The Eras Tour will support Swift’s new studio album, Midnights . It’s her 11th album to debut at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 chart, selling more than a million copies in its first week. Swift previously teased the tour during her interview on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon in October.

Midnights features collaborations with Lana Del Rey and Zoë Kravitz, and Swift described it as “the stories of 13 sleepless nights scattered throughout [her] life.” The new LP follows a steady stream of albums: In 2020, Swift issued a pair of stripped down releases— Folklore and E vermore , and, last year, she returned with re-recorded versions of Fearless and Red .

Swift announced Midnights at the 2022 MTV Video Music Awards as she accepted the trophy for Video of the Year. Swift won the accolade for her 10-minute “ All Too Well: The Short Film ,” marking her third victory for Video of the Year, having previously won for 2015’s “Bad Blood” and 2019’s “ You Need to Calm Down .”

In recent months, Swift has shared “ This Love (Taylor’s Version) ” (a re-recorded cut from 1989 ), penned an original song for the new film Where the Crawdads Sing , and joined Ed Sheeran for a new version of “ The Joker and the Queen .” She also joined Bon Iver and Aaron Dessner to perform “ Exile ” live. She’s currently in theaters as well, appearing in the new David O. Russell film Amsterdam alongside Christian Bale, Margot Robbie, John David Washington, Robert De Niro, Chris Rock, Anya Taylor-Joy, and more.

Taylor Swift

Taylor Swift ‘s Eras era will last for at least another year.

The superstar singer-songwriter had been set to wrap up the U.S. dates of her current series of concerts with a six-night run at Los Angeles’ SoFi Stadium starting tonight and running through Aug. 9. But Swift announced Thursday that she was adding 15 more North American dates to the Eras tour, starting in November 2024, including six shows in Toronto.

After SoFi Stadium, Swift is headed to South America before kicking off 2024 in Asia and Australia. She is set to spend the summer of 2024 touring Europe before returning to North America for these additional dates.

Swift’s current tour kicked off in March of this year in Arizona before the show, which has attracted celeb guests , wound its way across the U.S. The elite fans who managed to grab tickets did so amid technical glitches by Ticketmaster that led to backlash against the retailer, which has received Congressional scrutiny.

Responding to issues around sales for her initial run of U.S. dates, Swift said in part , “I’m not going to make excuses for anyone because we asked [the team at Ticketmaster], multiple times, if they could handle this kind of demand and we were assured they could. It’s truly amazing that 2.4 million people got tickets, but it really pisses me off that a lot of them feel like they went through several bear attacks to get them.”

She also said she and her team were “trying to figure out how this situation can be improved moving forward” and she hoped to find “more opportunities” for those who were unable to get tickets.

Announcing the Eras tour last fall , Swift said the concerts would be “a journey through all of my musical eras of my career.”

During the tour, she’s ventured back into her Speak Now era , releasing her rerecorded, Taylor’s Version , edition of that album.

Taylor Swift Taps Paramore for European Eras Tour Run

Taylor Swift knows we need more — so she’s giving us just that. The singer has added 14 more shows to the European/U.K. leg of her Eras Tour , and announced that Paramore will provide support throughout the trek.

“Really can’t contain my excitement because… we’re adding 14 new shows to The Eras Tour,” Swift wrote on Twitter Wednesday, July 5. “And I get to travel the world doing shows with @paramore !! Hayley and I have been friends since we were teens in Nashville and now we get to frolic around the UK/Europe next summer??? I’m screaming???”

Last month, Swift added dozens of shows to her Taylor Swift: The Eras stadium tour — bringing the total count of shows to a whooping 104 nights . She also extended her run at Los Angeles’ So-Fi Stadium with a sixth show scheduled for Aug. 7.

The new addition comes after the singer announced shows in Japan, Australia, Singapore, and Europe earlier this week. (See below for the full tour dates.)

“EXCUSE ME HI I HAVE SOMETHING TO SAY 🙋‍♀️,” she wrote on Instagram. “I can’t wait to see so many of you on The Eras Tour next year at these new international dates!”

She also added more dates to her already-announced Latin America tour. After wrapping her U.S. dates in Los Angeles on Aug. 9, Swift will head to Mexico City for four straight shows at Foro Sol starting Aug. 24. She’ll then stop in Buenos Aires, Argentina, and both Rio de Janeiro and São Paulo in Brazil in November.

Swift first announced the tour last October after she completely took over the Billboard Hot 100 top 10 with Midnights . The added dates, which follow the addition of eight new shows last week, were slotted in “due to unprecedented demand,” according to the singer’s camp.

“Good Morning America, it’s Taylor,” Swift said during the announcement. “I wanted to tell you something that I’ve been so excited about for a really long time and I’ve been planning for ages, and I finally get to tell you I’m going back on tour. The tour is called the ‘Eras’ tour, and it’s a journey through all of my musical eras of my career.”

The tour began on March 17 in Glendale, Arizona and extends through Aug. 9, where the singer will wrap with a fifth night at SoFi Stadium in Los Angeles. Swift still has stops left in Detroit, Minneapolis, Cincinnati, Seattle, and Santa Clara.

Slipknot Announce Here Comes the Pain Summer Tour

Taylor swift dominates entire top 10 on hot 100. again, billie eilish unveils 'hit me hard and soft' world tour dates.

Across the tour, Swift is being supported in select cities by a combination of special guests including Paramore, beabadoobee, Phoebe Bridgers, girl in red, MUNA, HAIM, GAYLE, Gracie Abrams, and OWENN.

The Eras tour follows the cancelation of her planned 2020 Lover Fest tour, which was originally going to see her make stadium stops in Los Angeles, Boston, and New York, along with Brazil, Denmark, Norway, and Poland. “This is an unprecedented pandemic that has changed everyone’s plans and no one knows what the touring landscape is going to look like in the near future,” she wrote in 2021.

Swift last went the road in 2018 for her massive Reputation Stadium Tour , which saw Swift accompanied by the likes of Charli XCX and Camila Cabello across the United States, the United Kingdom, along with Australia, New Zealand, and Japan. The tour was the highest-grossing music tour by a female artist that year.

Since her last tour, Swift has released four albums and two re-releases: Lover , Folklore , Evermore , Midnights , and Taylor’s Version editions of Fearless and Red with additional songs. In total, she’s dropped 90 tracks of new material, not including collaborations with the likes of Haim and Big Red Machine.

Fans have long wondered what music she’ll be performing on the road, with some theorizing that she’d host a residency in Las Vegas or a music festival where she’d perform different “eras” on different nights.

Along with packing her setlist with songs from Reputation in 2018, she surprised each city with an acoustic rendition of fan favorites like “Red,” “Holy Ground,” and “Wildest Dreams.” At select shows, she also brought out special guests. Shawn Mendes, Selena Gomez, Hayley Kiyoko, and Maren Morris were among the artists to be brought out by Swift.

The stadium tour was accompanied by a concert film released on New Year’s Eve that year.

She previously took her 1989 album on the road for 85 dates, where she was accompanied by the likes of Mendes, James Bay, Vance Joy, and Haim. Before then was The Red Tour in 2013 and 2014, and her Speak Now World Tour from 2011 to 2012.

Taylor Swift's Eras Tour: All the U.S. and international dates and opening acts

taylor swift uso tour

Taylor Swift opened the Eras Tour at State Farm Stadium in Glendale, Arizona — which rebranded itself as "Swift Cit y" for the March 17 and 18 concerts — with a triumphant return to live performance as the first act in the history of that venue to sell out two nights on the same tour.

By that point, she'd already broken the all-time record for most concert tickets sold by an artist in a single day and passed Madonna's Sticky & Sweet Tour as the highest-grossing tour in history by a female artist.

And Swift rose to the occasion , leading her band through a marathon 44-song set that lasted more than three hours while delivering on her promise of "a journey through all of my musical eras."

So what does she do for an encore? Here's where the Eras Tour is headed next, adding two surprise songs to the set at each show. Here's a look at what she's played so far .

Taylor Swift's 'Eras Tour' Is Going To Japan, Australia, Europe & More

The singer announced more international tour dates for the Eras Tour .

Taylor Swift is back on tour for the first time in five years. Since her last tour, she’s put out a whopping four albums, each with its own mythology, color scheme and unique sound to mark whatever era of her life — both creatively and musically — she’s currently in. When it comes to Taylor, there’s something for everyone: There’s the longing cottage-core of folklore and evermore , the self-hating, depressive late nights of Midnights , the dreamy rosy-eyed glasses of Lover . Swift is now revisiting these eras on her latest Eras Tour which, after an extensive 2023 U.S., Mexico, and South America run, will finally make its way overseas in 2024 to Japan, Australia, Singapore, and Europe.

In true Taylor form, she’s bringing her friends along for the ride — who encompass a wide swatch of generations and music tastes as varied as Swift’s own catalogue. Swift is supported by Paramore, beabadoobee, Phoebe Bridgers, girl in red, MUNA, HAIM, GAYLE, Gracie Abrams, and OWENN on the tour’s 2023 U.S. leg. (Yes, you have permission to scream!) While Sabrina Carpenter will take over for Swift’s shows in Mexico, Argentina, Brazil and a few 2024 dates in Australia and Singapore. Paramore will return as openers for her 2024 European shows.

The Eras Tour kicked off March 18, 2023 in Glendale, AZ, the same place her “Reputation” tour began in 2018, with the U.S. leg wrapping in L.A.’s SoFi Stadium on August 9 — the same place she was set to open her 2020 Lover Fest mini-tour. Following shows in Mexico and South America, she embarks on her third leg of international dates starting February 2024.

Footage From Taylor Swift’s ‘Eras Tour’ Rehearsals Hint She’s Adding ‘The Tortured Poets Department’ Songs

Taylor Swift European Eras Tour Rehearsals Seemingly Have Tortured Poets Department Clues

Taylor Swift might be gearing up to hold a Tortured Poets Department board meeting in the middle of her European Eras Tour concerts.

Swift, 34, uploaded a video of her tour prep to YouTube Shorts on Thursday, April 25, with the caption, “A fortnight till Paris.” In the clip, Swift practiced her setlist alongside her backup dancers.

While eagle-eyed fans noticed that Swift had run through performances of the likes of “Miss Americana & the Heartbreak Prince” and “Karma,” they also noticed snippets from a few numbers that had seemingly never been seen on stage.

In one instance, Swift played a white guitar and fans clocked that ivory hue matches the iconography of her new album , The Tortured Poets Department . There also appears to be a desk positioned on stage at one point in the video that could be another reference to the department. In another clip, Swift — wearing her now-viral PopFlex Active skort — leaned against a railing with white letters in the center. Fans have speculated the letters spell out “TTPD.”

“That’s the TTPD logo on the railing,” one user pointed out via X. “Omg TTPD is getting her own set at The Eras Tour !”

Swift also wore black lace-up heels as she posed on the railing, which other social media users compared to the similar Victorian-inspired pumps she sported in her “Fortnight” music video with Post Malone . (“Fortnight” is also the lead single off of TTPD.)

Another moment in the YouTube clip shows Swift surrounded by her backup dancers, the latter of whom are wearing circus-inspired top hats. Fans believe it is teeing up a TTPD performance of “Who’s Afraid of Little Old Me?” because of the big top lyrical reference, “I was tame, I was gentle ’til the circus life made me mean / ‘Don’t you worry, folks, we took out all her teeth.”

Another social media fan speculated: “Why do I feel like these are definitely rehearsal pics for TTPD songs ‘cause when have we ever had the dancers with hats and sticks.”

A selection of Swifties even think that they figured out the entire TTPD set that will be added based on an Instagram post by Pandora. The streaming station posted a “What song are you listening to next from The Tortured Poets Department?” graphic, specifically naming “Fortnight,” “The Alchemy,” “But Daddy I Love Him” “Down Bad” and “I Can Do It With a Broken Heart.” Swift’s official fan account, Taylor Nation, reshared the upload onto its Instagram Story page on Thursday.

One of Apple Music’s Swift-themed playlists, aptly titled “Taylor Swift Essentials,” has since been updated to include “Fortnight” and “Down Bad,” which other fans think further tease setlist plans. Apple’s official Eras “Setlist” playlist, however, has not been updated to include any TTPD hits.

Swift kicked off her Eras Tour in March 2023, traversing the United States and Central America to perform her sold-out show before beginning the international leg. Following overseas shows in Japan, Australia and Singapore earlier this year, Swift has currently been on a month long hiatus.

The Grammy winner’s next show is in Paris on Thursday, May 9, but she has not publicly revealed if or how the set list is changing to accommodate TTPD . It is also possible that the newly released tracks could pop up during her acoustic “surprise song” section .

Taylor Swift 'The Tortured Poets Department'

The Tortured Poets Department: The Anthology .

"The Tortured Poets Department"

Letra:  “You told Lucy you’d kill yourself if I ever leave/ And I had said that to Jack about so I felt seen/ Everyone we know understands why it’s meant to be/ Because we’re crazy”.

"My Boy Only Breaks His Favorite Toys"

Letra:  “My boy only breaks his favorite toys/ I’m queen of sand castles he destroys/ ‘Cause it fit too right, puzzle pieces in the dead of night/ I should’ve known it was a matter of time”.

"Guilty as Sin?"

Letra:  “I dream of cracking locks/ Throwin’ my life to the wolves or the ocean rocks/ Crashing into him tonight, he’s a paradox/ I’m seeing visions/ Am I bad or mad or wise?”

"Who's Afraid of Little Old Me?"

Letra:  “I was tame, I was gentle ’til the circus life made me mean/ Don’t you worry folks we took out all her teeth … You caged me and then you called me crazy/ I am what I am ’cause you trained me”.

"I Can Fix Him (No Really I Can)"

Letra:  “The dopamine races through his brain on a six-lane Texas highway/ His hands so calloused from his pistol, softly traces hearts on my face/ And I could see it from a mile away/ A perfect case for my certain skill set”.

Letra:  “You shit-talked me under the table/ Talking rings and talking cradles/ I wish I could unrecall/ How much we almost had it all”.

Al final, Taylor canta “Loss of my life”, pérdida de mi vida).

"I Can Do It With a Broken Heart"

Letra:  “Lights, camera, b—h, smile/ Even when you wanna die/ He said he’d love me all his life/ But that life was too short/ Breaking down I hit the floor/ All the pieces of me shattered as the crowd was chanting, ‘More!’”

"The Smallest Man Who Ever Lived"

Letra:  “‘Cause it wasn’t sexy once it wasn’t forbidden/ I would’ve died for your sins/ Instead I just died inside/ And you deserve prison, but you won’t get time”.

"Clara Bow"

Letra:  “You look like Taylor Swift in this light, we’re loving it/ You’ve got edge, she never did”.

"The Black Dog"

Letra:  “I just don’t understand/ How you don’t miss me/ In The Black Dog, when someone plays The Starting Line/ And you jump up, but she’s too young to know this song … Old habits die screaming”.

"How Did It End?"

Letra:  “Come one come all, it’s happening again/ The empathetic hunger descends/ We’ll tell no-one except all of our friends/ We must know, how did it end?”

"thanK you aIMee"

Letra:  “I wrote a thousand songs that you find uncool/ I built a legacy which you can’t undo/ But when I count the scars, there’s a moment of truth/ That there wouldn’t be this, if there hadn’t been you”.

THE TORTURED POETS DEPARTMENT: THE ANTHOLOGY

Naturalmente, la catarsi arriva dopo il ritornello: “I’ll tell you something right now” [“Ti dirò una cosa, adesso”], canta. “I’d rather burn my whole life down than listen to one more second of all this bitching and moaning” [“Preferirei bruciare tutta la mia vita, piuttosto che ascoltare un altro secondo di tutte queste lagne e lamentele”]. In ‘Florida!!!’, lei e Florence + the Machine fanno squadra per una gustosa fantasia di fuga alla Thelma e Louise, dove si dirigono verso il Sunshine State nella speranza di ricominciare con nuove vite e identità: “Love left me like this” [“L’amore mi ha ridotta così”], cantano. “And I don’t want to exist” [“E io non voglio esistere”]. “You swore that you loved me, but where were the clues?” [“Hai giurato di amarmi, ma dov’erano gli indizi?”], chiede nella devastante ‘So Long, London’, un punto focale dell’album. “I died on the altar waiting for the proof” [“Sono morta sull’altare aspettando la prova”]. “You look like Taylor Swift in this light, we’re loving it” [“Sembri Taylor Swift sotto questa luce, ci piace”], canta. “You’ve got edge she never did/The future’s bright, dazzling” [“Hai una marcia in più che lei non ha mai avuto/Il futuro è luminoso, abbagliante”].

Taylor Swift debuts her new album The Tortured Poets Department at No. 1 in the U.K. this week. The title was always a lock for the highest rung on the ranking of the most-consumed full-lengths in the country, so it’s not shocking to see it open in first place. The history Swift makes as the collection arrives is impressive, as this new win helps her break out of a tie with some of the most successful musical acts in the country’s history.

The Tortured Poets Department marks Swift’s twelfth No. 1 in the U.K. That’s one of the most impressive accumulations of winners of all time, and with one more champion, the pop/country/alternative powerhouse matches with several stars.

Swift is now tied with both Bruce Springsteen and Madonna with 12 No. 1 albums in that country. The three all jointly claim the fifth-most rulers of all time in the U.K.

Before The Tortured Poets Department hit the charts, Swift was already on the same level as three other beloved musical powerhouses: U2, Rod Stewart, and David Bowie all count 11 No. 1 albums to their credit in the U.K. Swift has passed them all, but this ranking could change again.

The Beatles continue to lead all acts with the most chart-topping albums in U.K. history. The Fab Four sent 16 different projects to the summit in their home country.

The Rolling Stones and Robbie Williams are tied for second place on this all-time ranking. So far, they have both earned 14 No. 1 albums in the U.K., and, again, that figure could increase again in the coming years.

Elvis Presley is just one win ahead of Swift, Madonna, and Springsteen. Throughout his lifetime–and afterward–13 of his releases have hit No. 1 in the U.K. That number includes several posthumous successes, so there’s no telling how many more he may snag.

The Tortured Poets Department launches at No. 1 in the U.K. with 270,000 equivalent units, which is a massive sum in the nation. It helps Swift land a chart double, as the set’s lead single “Fortnight” with Post Malone also opens at No. 1 on its respective roster.

Taylor Swift kicked off her Eras Tour in Glendale, Ariz. last night, delivering a 44-song set that lasted more than three hours. Somehow, the only time Swift paused throughout the night was to make a quick outfit change, disappearing into thin air only to return in a brand-new (and often bejeweled) look.

Instead of journeying through her 10 albums chronologically, Swift opted to mix up her musical eras, starting with 2019’s “Lover” before transitioning into 2020’s “Evermore.” “Reputation” was up next, followed by a short stint in “Speak Now,” during which she only performed “Enchanted.” Songs from “Red,” “Folklore” and “1989” came after, and then Swift performed a short acoustic set consisting of “Mirrorball” and “Tim McGraw” from her first, self-titled album — a tradition she said she’ll change up for every show, without repeating a song. Swift ended the night with her most recent release, “Midnights,” bringing fans back to the present.

Each era was accompanied by jaw-dropping sets, stunning choreography and, of course, custom outfits to represent each specific moment in Swift’s life and career. See all of the looks from the first night of the Eras Tour below.

Swift opened the show with the “Lover” era, wearing a sparkly pink-and-blue bodysuit.

Taylor Swift hints at Eras Tour setlist changes after ‘TTPD’ album release

Fans theorize that Taylor Swift is changing her Eras Tour setlist to include songs from her new album, “The Tortured Poets Department.”

Swift shared a black-and-white video collage of her practicing for the upcoming leg of her tour and added her new single, “Fortnight,” in the background to YouTube Shorts on Thursday.

The Grammy winner, 34, included several snippets of her wearing different athleisure outfits while holding a microphone, singing and dancing on different parts of the stage.

The “Cruel Summer” songstress even featured a snap of her playing her acoustic guitar and sitting at her signature mossy piano.

However, some eagle-eyed fans noticed a few differences in some of the clips from what she’s done in her past shows –– such as her background dancers wearing black top hats and canes.

Swift also appeared to be leaning on a silver pole that seemed to have a white “TTPD” sign hanging on the side of it. Fans additionally pointed out her white guitar and matching microphone.

Swift will resume her tour in Paris in two weeks –– aka a fortnight –– on May 9.

Several fans flooded the comments pointing out the changes and wrote about how convinced they are she’ll be swapping some songs for “TTPD” hits.

Swift has not released the setlist for her upcoming shows and she did not share the setlist before she kicked off the tour in Arizona in March 2023.

The “Shake it Off” songstress previously sang 44 songs on every show and swapped out two songs each concert that were acoustic “surprise songs” not included in the same setlist.

After Paris, Swift will hit several European countries, including Sweden, Spain and Portugal, before wrapping up in London in August.

Yes! Taylor Swift will be performing for three nights in Warsaw, from Thursday, Aug. 1, through Saturday, Aug. 3.

The cheapest ticket to see Taylor Swift perform in Warsaw, Poland in August is about $1,500 cheaper than the cheapest ticket to catch one of her Miami shows in October.

Add that $800 plane ticket to the around $500 it will cost for a concert ticket and the extra $200 to $300 you’ll spend in two days of visiting Warsaw, and the grand total comes out to a maximum of around $1,600, which is still $400 cheaper than the cheapest ticket to a Miami show.
