Times Travel got in touch with us and apologised to us for the mistake they had made. They have resolved the dispute by refunding the charged amount in full. Their effort is appreciated.

Times Travel:-This Travel Agent is a Scammer and bunch of Thieves who steal your money by trying to book your tickets for you and do nothing. They have another company called Alexa Travel. They both are inter related and are in the scanning business. Whoever has been scammed please lodge your claim with the police. I have reported them to the police who will be investigating them. People please don't hold back you must report these fraudsters.

Outstanding experien

I have used this company 2 times to book Umrah in the month of ramadan and I must say wow! They give accurate details, prices and you can ask them anything they will Have the answer. I booked through brother Saad and my experience with him has been outstanding. He was always available and answered my queries in very good timing. I booked for last ten nights of ramadan and eid and Saad Advised me theoughout the journey. My journey was absolutely stress free as my hotels were beautiful and comfortable. He explained there would a shuttle service and everything was exactly as he had told me. He advised me To take train from makkah to madinah - again another stress free journey as we took his advise. If I were to book again, I would 110% go with cheapest umrah again. They are a reliable and trustworthy company. Thank you again to Saad and Mr. Zee

We traveled to Saudia in December 2023. Mr Mahmood dealt with us. Excellent booking- London to Lahore…

I booked flights from London to Lahore through Times Travel. From the initial enquiry, I received excellent customer service from their operators. They were polite, professional and understood my requirements - catering for every detail. The entire journey including the connections were stress free thanks to them. Will certainly be using them again and would highly recommend.

Suing for stress and all related costs.

i have just been advised that because the agent failed to check the booking details with regards to first names an surnames I (not the agent or the company) must pay an additional fee of more than £600!! I am furious and my sons are now caused harm. Even worse i paid in full for the flights and the agent who made the mistake is telling me that i will not recover the money paid just minutes ago! I will be suing the company for all losses! It was up to the agent to check the first names and surnames. He failed to do so. I will sue for damages and losses within three months. I will sue for all costs in taking the company to court. As a lawyer and a customer and a woman with two young sons I would expect the final claim for the negligence around ten thousand pounds. If anyone else on here wants to sue them please review here.

We have been booking with Romina for…

We have been booking with Romina for the past few years and everytime the service has been excellent. Recent we travelled to Zanzibar annd Nairobi. Often we just tell Romina where we wish to go, and we leave the rest with her. We trust her attention to detail and to ensure that we get the best accommodation and experiance are commendable. Scammers....

Scammers.... They will tell u flights are booked and confirmed .... then a few days later they will call back and say the airline has cancelled the tickets.... the agents act like they don't know who u have spoken to and then send u a conformation letter to which they run through the minimum details and tell u to send a email saying u agree to the terms.. They will take ur hard earned money and not feel any way about it

• For an act to be classified as an act of illegitimate duress, a party must employ an illegitimate and illegal threat to pursue another party into entering into a contract
• The business of ticketing agent C was almost entirely based on sales of tickets for D
• D got into a dispute with C over unpaid commission and during that dispute terminated its contract with D in accordance with its terms, offering a new contract in its place with less favourable terms
• It required that C waive its claim for unpaid historic commission
• The High Court had held that C was entitled to pursue these claims and treat the new contract as avoided
• The Court of Appeal accepted D’s appeal, C appealed this
• Does lawfully terminating a contract with manipulative aims amount to illegitimate duress?

Held (Supreme Court)

• Appeal dismissed – there was no illegitimate duress

Lawful act duress

• Lawful act duress, such as lawful act economic duress, is existent in English law
• As the act is lawful, the illegitimacy of the threat is determined by focussing on the justification of the demand
• A demand motivated by commercial self-interest is generally justified
• Economic duress is essentially concerned with identifying rare exceptional cases where a demand, motivated by commercial self-interest, is nevertheless unjustified
• Any claim by C against D must have D deliberately creating or increasing C’s vulnerability to their demand, and be acting in bad faith, where they know they’re acting illegitimately
• Sufficient causation
• No reasonable alternative to giving in to the threat
• Threats to end contractual relationships are legal, so is entering into a new one
• Even though D held a monopolistic position role in negotiations, as it was C’s primary source of income and they could reduce tickets sold through them, they did still act lawfully (such a reduction in the number of tickets they gave to C was within the boundaries of the old contract)
• So, the threats were legitimate despite bargaining differences. There is no proof of lawful act economic duress

• Recognised that C tried to rescind the new contract via duress, without attempting to invoke unconscionable bargains law
• This involves “the exploitation by A of a weakness of B by entering into a contract that is clearly disadvantageous to B who has not obtained independent advice. In almost all past English cases on unconscionable bargains, B has been an individual with a mental weakness such as inexperience, confusion because of old age or emotional strain”
• C could have argued that this was invoked due to their weak bargaining position as a family business against a major airline acting as the flag carrier for Pakistan
