Amazing show! Never heard of battle beast before but they knocked it outta the park great performance!
Sonata Arctica struggled getting the guys voice to go above the guitars and drums and stuff.
Kamelot delivered in performance you could tell they loved to play their show and the lead singer loved interacting with the audience. Will see it again if they come back.
Report as inappropriate
I was much more impressed with Sonata Arctica than Battle Beast or Kamelot. Pretty disappointed that Sonata Arctica had the shortest set of all of them. Left half a song into Kamelot's set.
This show was simply fantastic! The way they interact with the audience and make us a part of the show is what makes this great. Kamelot know what they are doing and please keep on doing it. I will definitely see them again.

KAMELOT 's latest album, ' The Awakening' , debuted at #2 on the US Current Hard Music Albums chart and #27 on the Current Album Sales chart, and connected with fans and critics alike - touted by many as the best late-era KAMELOT release to date! The album enters the band's legacy as their most massive and diverse offering yet - mixing symphonic, gothic, melodic, progressive and power metal styles while yielding some of the heaviest tracks in the band's history. Having reigned supreme with the release of internationally top-charting melodic metal pinnacles such as The Fourth Legacy (1999), The Black Halo (2005), Silverthorn (2012), Haven (2015, #1 US Hard Rock Albums), and most recently 2018’s acclaimed The Shadow Theory (#2 US Hard Music Albums), KAMELOT ’s intense brand of ultramodern gothic and symphonic theatricality is amplified further and with more emotionality than ever on ' The Awakening' .
Showcasing the incomparable, stage-seasoned vocal acrobatics of Tommy Karevik and increasingly airtight, renowned technical teamwork of guitarist Thomas Youngblood, drummer Alex Landenburg, keyboardist Oliver Palotai and bassist Sean Tibbetts, KAMELOT ’s score-like 13th studio album is accented by guest contributions from the likes of Melissa Bonny ( Ad Infinitum ) and renowned instrumentalists like violinist Florian Janoske and cellist Tina Guo. ' The Awakening' features crystal clear modern production helmed by the band and longtime producer Sascha Paeth, plus mixing and mastering by Jacob Hansen of Hansen Studios.

KAMELOT 's first full-length album in five years, "The Awakening" , arrived on March 17 via Napalm Records .
Having reigned supreme with the release of internationally top-charting melodic metal pinnacles such as "The Fourth Legacy" (1999), "The Black Halo" (2005), "Silverthorn" (2012), "Haven" (2015) and most recently 2018's acclaimed "The Shadow Theory" , "The Awakening" enters the KAMELOT legacy as their most massive and diverse offering yet — mixing symphonic, gothic, melodic, progressive and power metal styles while yielding some of the heaviest tracks in the band's history.
Youngblood says: "With 'The Awakening' , we have one of our most diverse albums in years. We've fused elements from progressive, power and gothic metal to symphonic and melodic metal on this one. Working with incredible guest artists from around the music industry and having producer Sascha Paeth and Jacob Hansen mixing gave us another step up on overall sound. This album offers everything to KAMELOT fans and also reaches beyond borders to new metal and hard rock legions."
KAMELOT is one of few bands in the symphonic genre to fully embrace the dark, but of course, there can be no light without it. Inspiring, engaging lyrical themes of determination, strength, overcoming personal battles and growth are abound on "The Awakening" , provoked by extreme societal shifts and the overwhelming realization that we have such a brief time to be true to ourselves and live life to its fullest.
With crystal clear modern production helmed by the band and longtime producer Sascha Paeth , plus mixing and mastering by Jacob Hansen of Hansen Studios , KAMELOT 's score-like 13th studio album is accented by guest contributions from the likes of Melissa Bonny ( AD INFINITUM ) and renowned instrumentalists like violinist Florian Janoske and Guo .
Showcasing the incomparable, stage-seasoned vocal acrobatics of Karevik and increasingly airtight, renowned technical teamwork of Youngblood , drummer Alex Landenburg , keyboardist Oliver Palotai and bassist Sean Tibbetts , "The Awakening" embraces enlivening themes that every listener can relate to. KAMELOT 's intense brand of ultramodern gothic and symphonic theatricality is amplified further and with more emotionality than ever on this inspiring, anticipated addition to the KAMELOT legacy.
Tracks honoring KAMELOT trademarks like cinematic "The Great Divide" and darkly hopeful eternal farewell to a loved one, "Eventide" , prove that while "The Awakening" stays true to the aural foundations fans have embraced for decades, equally addictive outputs like "One More Flag In The Ground" — a radio-ready anthem about overcoming seemingly unbeatable illness and the mental challenges we all face, featuring additional vocal layers from Juno Award -winning musician and producer Brian Howes — showcase a band devoid of sonic stagnancy. Profound compositions are plentiful, like stage-ready, operatic "Opus Of The Night (Ghost Requiem)" , which features a hair-raising dual solo from Youngblood and the Grammy -nominated, soundtrack-featured cellist Tina Guo , as well as epic, synth-laden "New Babylon" , elevated by the dynamic vocal attack of Karevik and Bonny . Further balancing darkness with light, grooving, heartfelt "NightSky" and ode to conquering one's adversities "My Pantheon (Forevermore)" boast some of the album's heaviest moments and most complex guitar solos, while pensive hymns such as Celtic-infused "Midsummer's Eve" and ebbing-and-flowing hymn of cherished memories "Willow" provide necessary balance to an album fittingly primed for spectacular performances to come.

Aerosmith Peace Out tour dates: How to get tickets to their rescheduled Phoenix concert
Aerosmith have announced 2024 rescheduled dates on their farewell tour for the concerts they postponed last year as Steven Tyler recovered from damage to his vocal cords, an injury sustained during a New York concert.
The Peace Out Tour will now bring Aerosmith to Footprint Center in downtown Phoenix on Thursday, Oct. 31, 2024, with the Black Crowes. The concert had been scheduled for Sunday, Dec. 10, 2023 .
The Boston rockers postponed all remaining dates in late September and shared the news on social media.
"Unfortunately, Steven's vocal injury is more serious than initially thought," they wrote. "His doctors have confirmed that in addition to the damage to his vocal cords, he fractured his larynx, which requires ongoing care."
The post went on to note that Tyler was "receiving the best medical treatment available to ensure his recovery is swift, but given the nature of a fracture, he is being told patience is essential."
Aerosmith's Peace Out farewell tour will celebrate 5 decades of hits
Aerosmith also added three new dates, including Pittsburgh, where the Peace Out Tour will relaunch on Friday, Sept. 20.
The tour will pay homage to five decades of Aerosmith’s groundbreaking hits as they celebrate more than 50 years as one of America’s greatest rock bands.
They’re promising an “electrifying” show in an immersive 360-degree production with THX calibrating the audio in each arena.
Aerosmith farewell tour hailed as 'positively brilliant' and 'epic'
When the Peace Out Tour kicked off in September 2023, the Associated Press lauded it as "positively brilliant," while USA TODAY noted that “ the band was in peak form for this victory lap ."
The Philadelphia Inquirer praised Aerosmith’s "ability to make such a grand-scale performance feel like a raw and raucous club date,” while People described the show as “epic,” declaring that "Aerosmith is peacing out with a bang.”

Why did Aerosmith postpone their farewell tour?
After playing only a handful of concerts in September, the “Walk This Way” heroes had to hit pause after singer Steven Tyler damaged his vocal cords. He also fractured his larynx and was given doctor’s orders not to sing for 30 days.
But Aerosmith opted to give Tyler ample time to recuperate and scuttle all of their shows until 2024.
The wiry frontman known for his searing rock yowls, said at the time that the injury occurred at a Sept. 10 show in New York and that the vocal cord damage “led to subsequent bleeding.”
What songs can fans expect to hear at Aerosmith’s farewell shows?
USA TODAY was there for opening night of the Peace Out tour Sept. 3 in Philadelphia. As the tour is also a celebration of the band’s 50 years in the music industry, the setlist reflected their vast catalog.
The band – Tyler, guitarist Joe Perry, bassist Tom Hamilton and guitarist Brad Whitford, along with drummer John Douglas filling in for Joey Kramer – sounded in peak form for their deserved victory lap.
Songs ranged from singalong rock smashes “Livin’ on the Edge,” “Sweet Emotion” and “Rag Doll” to the rarely played album track “Adam’s Apple” and a dip into Aerosmith’s blues roots with “Hangman Jury.”

Maggie Rogers Announces Arena Tour, Sequel to In-Person Ticketing Program to Skirt Scalpers
By Waiss Aramesh
Waiss Aramesh
Following the success of Maggie Rogers ’ in-person ticketing program for her tour last year, she’s going even bigger in 2024. Ahead of her new album Don’t Forget Me dropping on Friday, the singer announced her first arena run in the United States, kicking off in October after ‘ The Don’t Forget Me Tour, Part I ’ in early summer.
Friday kicks off a week-long celebration that Rogers is dubbing ‘Box Office Week’ that will include pop-up events, special shows at intimate venues in New York, Philadelphia, Boston, and Chicago, and chances to snag tickets to the arena tour at box offices across America.
Rogers’ arena run this fall includes a date at Madison Square Garden on October 19, a little over five years after the singer sold out two nights at Radio City Music Hall. Having gone to New York University and lived in Greenpoint, Brooklyn, Rogers is no stranger to venues across the city, from popping out at Barclays Center with Zach Bryan and Bruce Springsteen to her affinity for some of the city’s cozier settings.

Legendary rock band Aerosmith schedules finale of 'PEACE OUT' farewell tour in Buffalo
The iconic rock band Aerosmith announced additional dates for their 'PEACE OUT' farewell tour — and Buffalo appears as the final stop.
The final tour has 40 stops across the United States from September through February, according to an announcement on the band's Facebook page .
Aerosmith has been a cornerstone of American rock music since the band formed in Boston in 1970. With one of the most recognizable lead vocalists in music, Steven Tyler, the band has left a significant impact on the industry, producing chart-toppers 'Dream On' (1973), 'Sweet Emotion' (1975) and 'Walk This Way' (1975) among many other notable songs.
Here's what we know about the show in Buffalo.
When and where is the Aerosmith show in Buffalo?
The announcement posted to the band's Facebook page shows the tour finale of Aerosmith's 'PEACE OUT' farewell tour on Feb. 26 at the KeyBank Center in Buffalo, rescheduling from the band's canceled show from earlier this year.
Why did Aerosmith reschedule its Buffalo show?
The band's Buffalo performance scheduled for Jan. 16 was postponed after Tyler damaged his vocal cords during the Sept. 9 show in Elmont. He was initially advised by doctors to rest his voice for 30 days, according to USA TODAY , but sustained additional damage, including a fractured larynx that led to subsequent bleeding.

Aerosmith announces new dates for 2024 farewell tour 'Peace Out,' headed to Nashville
Aerosmith has announced the rescheduled 2024 dates for their farewell 'Peace Out Tour.' The tour, which was originally set to come to Nashville in January 2024, was postponed due to singer Steven Tyler's vocal cord damage.
The band will now hit the stage at Nashville's Bridgestone Arena on Sunday, Oct. 20.
Rock legends Aerosmith—comprised of Steven Tyler, Joe Perry, Tom Hamilton, Joey Kramer and Brad Whitford—are known for hits "Dream On," "I Don't Want To Miss A Thing" and "Walk This Way."
The band has released 15 studio albums, with their most recent released in 2012, "Music From Another Dimension!"
Aerosmith has announced that The Black Crowes, comprised of brothers Chris and Rich Robinson , will accompany them on tour. The Black Crowes released their first album in 15 years, "Happiness Bastards," on March 14.
Why did Aerosmith postpone their final tour?
Aerosmith first announced that they would be embarking on their final tour via video in May 2023. The tour began on Sept. 3 in Philadelphia.
The band, though, was forced to cancel remaining tour dates after frontman Steven Tyler suffered an injury at their performance on Sept. 9 in at the UBS Arena in New York.
Tyler suffered a vocal injury that included a fractured larynx and vocal cord damage.
In a Sept. 29 statement on Facebook , the band promised to honor tickets for new dates. “I am heartbroken to not be out there with Aerosmith, my brothers and the incredible Black Crowes, rocking with the best fans in the world,” Tyler said.
“I promise we will be back as soon as we can!”
Now, the rescheduled farewell tour will start back up on Sept. 20 in Pennsylvania, celebrating Aerosmith's hits from over 50 years together as a band.
All previously purchased tickets will be honored for the rescheduled shows. Ticket-holders will receive more information via email.
Tickets for the newly announced shows, both rescheduled and added performances, will go on sale on Friday, April 12 at 10 a.m. CST at ticketmaster.com .

‘Is She Sure?’ How the Breeders Joined Olivia Rodrigo’s Guts Tour.
The ’90s alt-rock icons hit the Madison Square Garden stage for the first time Friday night, after the 21-year-old pop star invited them to join her on the road.
By Jenn Pelly
Olivia Rodrigo remembers her life in two parts: before she heard the Breeders’ “Cannonball,” and after, she told the crowd at Madison Square Garden on Friday night, when her Guts World Tour arrived in New York.
And that is how the ’90s alt-rock idols came to play the New York arena for the first time last week, 31 years after that song from their platinum 1993 album, “Last Splash,” charted on Billboard’s Hot 100.
Rodrigo’s camp initially approached the Breeders in September about opening some dates on the tour supporting her second album, “Guts .” “My first reaction was, Wow, that seems kind of odd,” the band’s bassist, Josephine Wiggs, said in an interview. “But after I’d thought about it for a while, I thought, ‘That’s actually really genius.’”
Kim Deal, the singer-guitarist who leads the band with her twin sister, Kelley, said she was surprised when they got the invite. “I’d heard ‘Drivers License,’ and I liked that a lot,” she said, referring to Rodrigo’s breakout 2021 smash.
Kelley wondered if it might be a mistake. “I thought, ‘Is she sure? Do they really mean us?’”
But Rodrigo made her enthusiasm clear when the shows were confirmed, reaching out personally to share her excitement. “She texted each one of us individually,” Kelley recalled.
“And said, ‘Really happy to hear that you’re going to do this,’” Wiggs added. “Very classy.”
Aside from Kim, who played Madison Square Garden in 1992 when her earlier band, Pixies, opened for U2, no one in the group had ever performed at the venue before. Kim hadn’t been back since, and said she had no memory of that previous gig: “I usually remember the bad shows, so it’s a good thing that I really don’t remember that one.”
With the first date in the books, the Breeders spent part of Saturday afternoon glimpsing Rodrigo’s soundcheck — she was belting “Ballad of a Homeschooled Girl” to an empty arena — and then briefly chatting with her. “So easy to talk to!” Kim reported as the Breeders headed up to the stage to adjust their own amps and pedals. The lights were up; two men vacuumed the previous night’s pink and purple star-shaped confetti.
“How about we do a piece of ‘Cannonball,’ like when everything comes in?” Kim asked the band, which also includes the drummer Jim Macpherson. They had already tested the distorted ahh-ooohh-ahh vocalizations that open the song. Kim blew a whistle to emulate the record’s microphone feedback.
Rodrigo was born a decade after the release of “Cannonball,” but the 21-year-old heard it as a teenager and remembers “instantly falling in love with the Breeders,” she wrote in an email. “I thought Kim was the coolest girl in the world,” Rodrigo said. “I’m very inspired by them and everything they stand for. They are absolutely iconic, and playing these shows with them has been a surreal honor.” (The Breeders have joined the tour for four shows at the Garden that wrap on Tuesday, and four more at the Kia Forum in Los Angeles later this summer.)
Mischief, wryness, confidence and camaraderie feel encoded into the poised riffs and bass line of “Cannonball,” and it’s easy to imagine girls gently headbanging along to it for eternity. Rodrigo went louder and crunchier on “Guts,” long inspired by artists who are “not trying to recreate a version of rock music that guys make,” as she told The New York Times last year.
Soundcheck proceeded like a supercut. “Should we do half of ‘Do You Love Me Now’?” Kim asked before crashing the song open and letting its twin harmonies ring out. “A little piece of ‘Drivin’ on 9’?” signaling the aching country tune. “Should we throw in ‘Gigantic’?” Kim asked before unleashing the titanic anthem she co-wrote and sang as a member of Pixies. (She dedicated its “big, big love” to Rodrigo during the show.)
Earlier, the band sat in a green room processing its Guts experience so far. Kelley had been impressed by the emotional arc of Rodrigo’s songs the previous night. “I was texting somebody, ‘I’m so empowered right now!’” She later reached out to praise Rodrigo’s voice as “really special,” observing, “Her tone and control are spectacular!”
“She performs with a really good sense of humor,” Kim added.
Wiggs said she could hear some Breeders commonalties in a Rodrigo chord progression, while Macpherson detected a bit of the band in “Jealousy, Jealousy,” from her first album, “Sour.” “The bass riff was almost like a ‘Hag,’ ‘Hellbound’ -ish kind of thing,” he said.
The Breeders expressed shock at how young Rodrigo’s fans were, and the collective decibel of their screams on Friday night. “You’re going to be surprised by how loud it was,” Kelley said. Weren’t their own amps loud, too? “Not louder than 30,000 tweens,” she said.
Kim roasted her bandmates for withholding stage banter the night before. “Looking out at the sea of 7- and 8-year-olds, I had no idea what to say,” Wiggs said, deadpan. “I could just about manage to say something to people who are obviously teenagers. I was like, OK, maybe I’ll try to make eye contact with the dads.”
The Deal sisters are no strangers to parental accompaniment at gigs. “My dad used to have Ray Charles in his headphones, watching us play, when he drove us around in the r.v. with Nirvana,” Kim said, referring to the band’s 1992 tour with what was then the biggest band on Earth. “He’d have his cassette Walkman,” Kelley added. “He was a big supporter, but he’d heard us a million times.”
In Kurt Cobain’s liner notes to Nirvana’s 1992 compilation “Incesticide,” he detailed the recent life experiences that had meant the most to him since “becoming an untouchable boy genius,” including “playing with the Breeders” on the list. “Nirvana and Foo Fighters would really curate their opening bands, which is I think what Olivia is doing in a way, curating new music that she wants fans to get to know,” Kelley said.
Most of the young people watching from the front rows on Saturday were not familiar with the Breeders — who are all in their 50s and 60s — though there were exceptions. “My parents know who they are!” exclaimed an 18-year-old fan named Mack. “My dad said they had some jams back when he was younger. He didn’t know if I would like them, but I trust Olivia.”
Another fan, Elle, 16, was with her father, who saw the Breeders at Lollapalooza alongside Smashing Pumpkins and the Beastie Boys. “For me, this was really cool,” he said. “I don’t know the tour’s other openers as well, but I’ve loved the Breeders since ’94 when I saw them last.”
Rodrigo’s fans were decked out in sparkling skirts, purple bows and platform boots in honor of their heroine, who took the stage in a series of short, glittering skirts. The Breeders are known for more understated sartorial choices. Had they given any thought about to what to wear?
“I sent out a ‘help’ text to a friend of mine,” Kelley admitted. “I said, I’m trying to upgrade my look from my T-shirt and jeans that I typically wear, but staying in my comfort zone. He said, ‘I find glitter or sequins to always be the answer.’ I just waited for him to laugh or something. That was no help to me at all. So I went with a T-shirt and jeans.”
“Like she’s been dressing since seventh grade,” Kim said.
Aerosmith relaunches Peace Out farewell tour, will play Detroit in January
Aerosmith's rebooted farewell tour will bring the iconic rock band to Little Caesars Arena on Jan. 4 for its final Detroit concert.
The Black Crowes remain aboard to open the show, just as they were when the tour was initially announced in May 2023.
Eighteen months after front man Steven Tyler suffered a vocal injury that derailed the band’s much-hyped goodbye outing, Aerosmith has announced its return to the road, starting with a Sept. 20 show in Pittsburgh and wrapping with a Feb. 26 show in Buffalo.
Aerosmith's Jan. 4 show in Detroit will follow the band's New Year's Eve concert in Boston, where Tyler, guitarist Joe Perry and company formed in 1970 before going on to rise up the rock ranks with a gritty and bluesy sound that produced hits such as “Walk This Way,” “Dream On” and “Sweet Emotion.”
The LCA show, originally scheduled for Sept. 18, 2023, was shifted to January 2024 when Tyler sustained vocal damage early in the tour. Weeks later, the entire farewell run was delayed indefinitely when the singer was diagnosed with a more serious fractured larynx.
Fans who held on to tickets for that original Detroit date are good to go. Any open seats will go on sale at 10 a.m. Friday through Ticketmaster.
