Do you need a lanyard for a Disney Cruise?

You don’t need one, but they definitely come in handy. Having a lanyard allows you to keep your Key to the World card, plus maybe some additional money in its pocket.

Since this card acts as a cabin key and credit card all in one, having a lanyard allows you to walk around the ship purse or bag free. One less thing to forget!

Speaking of forgetting, we hung our lanyards on the wall hooks in our cabin so we didn’t forget them.

Does Disney give you a lanyard on a cruise?

If you have cruised with Disney before, yes, they provide lanyards. In fact, they give out different colored lanyards depending on your Castaway Club level.

If you have already taken a Disney Cruise, you are a Castaway Club member. This membership provides special benefits onboard your next cruise, such as providing you with a Disney Cruise Line lanyard.

Lanyard colors

  • Silver members (at least 1 cruise) – Silver lanyard
  • Gold members (at least 5 cruises) – Gold lanyard
  • Platinum members (at least 10 cruises) – Platinum lanyard

Do I get a free lanyard on my first Disney Cruise?

Unfortunately, no. Only those who have sailed on a Disney Cruise receive free lanyards. However, there are many cute lanyards to purchase.

It’s less expensive to purchase one ahead of your cruise, although the cruise ship shops do carry them.

Amazon has a wide variety of lanyards , even ones themed for a Disney cruise.

My favorite is this blue and red lanyard with an anchor and helm, even though it’s not Disney related.

I also saw quite a few people (ok, just women) wear this cute Mickey-shaped neck pouch . Plus, there is an extra slot for another card or money and a zipper pouch for coins. It comes in several colors such as black, red, pink or light blue. This could serve double duty if you are headed to the parks in addition to a cruise.

Do kids need a lanyard on a Disney Cruise?

This may be a matter of preference, but we did not give our 8-year-old a lanyard. She was not going to be anywhere without us, so she didn’t need one.

Some parents definitely let their kids wander around by themselves. If that’s you, then yes, your child should have a lanyard so they can go back to the room.

Little K couldn’t believe parents at the dining table next to us let their 3-year-old go to the restroom by himself at dinner. I guess I’m just overprotective.

Hopefully, that answered all your Disney lanyard questions. But, if it didn’t, please ask any in the comments below.

I’m surprised Disney doesn’t give a lanyard for the first cruise anymore. My wife and I took our first cruise in 2007 aboard the Wonder. We received two black and red lanyards similar to what the Platinum lanyards look like, but no platinum color.

I wish they did, I mean really, it’s probably like 25 cents in bulk?

Do the Key to the World cards have a slot/hole where they can be attached directly to the lanyard, or do I need a lanyard style that has an ID holder pouch? Thanks!

Hi Amy – My last Key to the World card from Nov 2018 did NOT have a punched slot, so you needed a lanyard with an ID holder. Have fun on your cruise!

The Necessity of a Disney Cruise Line Lanyard

As a frequent cruiser with the Disney Cruise Line, I can confidently say that a lanyard is an essential accessory to have while onboard. It may seem like a small and insignificant item, but it serves multiple purposes that make it a must-have for any Disney cruise vacation.

First and foremost, the lanyard serves as your key to the ship. It holds your stateroom keycard, which is not only your room key but also your access to various areas of the ship. With so many activities and dining options onboard, it’s easy to lose track of your keycard. Keeping it on a lanyard around your neck ensures that you always have it with you and easily accessible.

Moreover, the lanyard also acts as a form of identification while onboard. It displays your name and stateroom number, making it easier for crew members to address you by name and identify which guests are staying in each room. This comes in handy during events or activities where guests are grouped together by their room numbers.

Another practical use of the Disney Cruise Line lanyard is for keeping important documents safe. As someone who loves to collect souvenirs, I appreciate having a

Printed my Pearl card.

Anyone agree with this loyalty programme?

0-2 nights at sea: first time cruiser 3-50 nights at sea: silver 50-100 nights at sea: gold 100+ nights at sea: pearl Sounds more fair to non Florida and non US guests

' src=

So unfair, I typically do the longer cruises and have 187 nights and 21 cruises, so I don’t make Pearl. But someone who just takes 3 day cruises makes Pearl after 75 nights. Pretty garbage reward system

' src=

Very cute, however, hope it is not taking the place of cc level lanyards. Remember when the beach bags were color coordinated with club level. How many of those sling bags can a person use?!

' src=

Trying to print Platinum, but the printer gets Pearl when I look at the print preview. Same thing comes up if I click on Silver & Gold.

' src=

That’s exactly what just happened to me. I printed Platinum but the actual print was Pearl

' src=

Yeah the same thing happens to me, whatever one I select, once you hit print it only prints pearl

' src=

I just downloaded all the PDFs linked on the site, and each printed as they should.

' src=

How do you see your key to the world card if it is covered up???

' src=

Why do you need to see your KTTW card. The DCL scanners including your room door lock will read through the plastic, paper and COVE CAFE loyalty card. You might have to show the card to non-DCL port security when you pass through foreign customs.

Disney cruise line lanyards.

We have discussed Disney Cruise Line’s Key to the World Card .  After reading that post, you may wonder how you are going to carry your card around?

First Time Disney Cruiser

If you are a first time cruiser, you are going to have to provide your own lanyard.  Disney only provides lanyards to return cruisers.  Here is a great choice that is available on board the ship:

Disney Cruise Line Lanyard Wallet

What I like the most about this choice is that not only will it hold your Key to the World card, but it has a small zipper pocket as well for cash.  The Key to the World card will also slide out of the pocket for it easily vs the standard lanyard, which has to be taken out of the plastic pouch (which sticks to the card).

Specialty Cruises

There are many more Star Wars Lanyards available on Amazon!

There are some great ones available for Marvel as well!

Returning Disney Cruiser

If you are a member of the Castaway Club, which is Disney’s frequent cruisers club, Disney will give you a lanyard when you arrive at the port for boarding.  To be a member of the Castaway Club, you only have to complete one cruise.  When you arrive for your second cruise, you will have a lanyard waiting for you.

For your second through fifth cruises, you will get a Silver Lanyard.  We haven’t been Silver for a while, so I don’t personally have one of the new Silver Lanyards.  Luckily, our friends sent us a picture of the one they just received.  Here are the different Silver Castaway Club Lanyards we have received over the years:

Old Silver Castaway Club Lanyard

For your sixth through tenth cruises, you will get a Gold Lanyard.  You are a Gold Castaway Club member after you have completed your fifth cruise.  Here are the different Gold Castaway Club Lanyards we have received over the years:

Old Gold Castaway Club Lanyard

For your eleventh and subsequent cruises, you will get a Platinum Lanyard.  You are a Platinum Castaway Club member after you have completed your tenth cruise.  We have only been Platinum for one cruise.  Here is the lanyard we received:

Putting on your lanyard is one of the best feelings because it means your awesome Disney Cruise is about to begin!

Disney Cruise Line Lanyards

When you check-in to your Disney Cruise vacation, you’ll be given a Key to the World card…similar to what was used at Walt Disney World pre-Magic Bands. This little card is your “key” (pun intended) to everything on board!!

disney cruise lanyard colors

Let’s go over what this little card has to say and where you’ll need it! -Ship Name (Disney Magic, Wonder, Dream or Fantasy) -Guest Name…that’s YOU! -Muster Station: On arrival day you’ll be required to attend a muster drill. This letter will tell you which station is yours AND where you would go in case of an emergency! -Table Number: Each night aboard your cruise, you’ll experience a different restaurant! -Check-in line Number -Dining Time, Restaurant Rotation and Table Number:

  • Each night, there is a Main Seating and a Second Seating for dinner. In general, the Main Seating begins between 5:45 PM and 6:15 PM and the Second Seating begins between 8:00 PM and 8:30 PM, though these times may vary based on itinerary.
  • With Rotational Dining you’ll get the chance to experience a different restaurant each night! This combination of letters is the order in which you’ll experience those restaurants! Payment Anytime you are purchasing something on-board the ship, you’ll use your Key to The World card to pay! This includes alcohol, the spa, BINGO, gift shops, photography, laundry and more!

Disney Cruise Line lanyard

Lanyards are of course optional but we find it super handy to have our Key To The World Card handy whenever we need it!

BONUS! On the Dream Class Ships there is an energy saving mechanism that causes the lights to go out unless your Key to The World Card is put in the slot. This can be a little annoying to have to constantly remove it so check out Etsy for cards you can insert INSTEAD (these all make good Fish Extender gifts)!!!

Look for options with strong clasps or clips that can securely hold your important items like your room key, ID, and other essentials.

It’s also a good idea to choose a lanyard with an adjustable length so you can customize it to fit comfortably around your neck or wrist.

Why I like to Wear a Lanyard on a Disney Cruise

I remember the first time I went on a cruise, I made the mistake of carrying all my important items like my room key and ID in my purse.

It was a hassle having to constantly pull them out every time I needed to access them. Plus, I hate lugging around a bag when I’m trying to relax. That’s when I discovered the convenience of wearing a lanyard.

Not only did it make it easier to keep track of my essentials, but it also freed up my hands so that I could fully enjoy all the fun activities and experiences on board without worrying about losing anything important.

Now, every time I go on a cruise or any vacation for that matter, I always make sure to bring along a trusty lanyard – it’s become an essential item in my travel kit!

Why We Bought Disney Cruise Lanyards… For a Non-Disney Cruise!

Disney Cruise Lanyard Styles!

Disney Cruise Lanyards - Disney Cruise Lanyard Style

Disclosure: I received these lanyards complimentary but all thoughts and opinions are my own.

When going on a Disney Cruise , having your Key to the World Card (this is your card to get into your stateroom and to make purchases) on a lanyard is essential! Having it around your neck makes it easy to have out at all times, since it is used so frequently. If you’ve never been on a Disney Cruise before, you will need to bring your own lanyard (or you can purchase in a shop on the ship). If you’ve sailed before, you will receive a silver or gold Castaway Club lanyard upon check-in. Having the complimentary lanyard is nice, but on my most recent cruise I thought it would be fun to coordinate my lanyards with my outfit for the day, to add a bit more flair and style to my Disney Cruise!

I went to Buckle-Down Products, who has dozens upon dozens of Disney licensed lanyards, perfect for heading on a Disney Cruise! My trip was on the Disney Wonder, so I packed lanyards accordingly:

For night one, we were eating at Triton’s, an art deco-style Little Mermaid themed restaurant. I packed this Ariel-inspired Buckle-Down lanyard , to pair with my Danielle Nicole Kiss the Girl purse!

For day 2, we were in Astoria, Oregon. It was a little chilly, so I wore my vintage-style Forever 21 Mickey turtleneck sweater, which I paired with a classic Mickey Buckle-Down lanyard . It’s one of my favorites! A black lanyard with his shorts, shoes and glove icons on it!

For the next day, I sported a casual Disney Cruise Spirit Jersey look, which I paired with a Buckle-Down lanyard featuring Minnie Mouse in her classic blue dress !

That evening, it was pirate night ! (One of my favorite nights on a Disney Cruise vacation!) I found the perfect lanyard while browsing Buckle-Down’s site…Captain Hook ! I placed some Disney pirate pins and paired it with the cruise bandana.

For my final lanyard of the trip, I wore an Olaf lanyard , paired with a matching Buckle-Down Olaf cinch belt since we were going to be seeing the Frozen show on Disney Wonder !

I loved that all the lanyards were comfy (not scratchy around my neck at all) and had some stretch to them. Plus I received so many compliments on my Disney Cruise lanyard style from fellow cruisers!

The one surprising travel accessory you can't go on a cruise without

Ashley Kosciolek

When I was in junior high, a solid three years before I could legally drive, I asked my parents for a lanyard. They were all the rage among teenagers — particularly high schoolers who used them to corral their car keys. Long gone are the days when my bright orange Adidas neck strap was stylish. That is, of course, unless I'm on a cruise, where passengers often use lanyards to secure their keycards. Keycards serve as both room keys and the only payment card accepted on cashless cruise ships, so wallets aren't necessary.

I've never actually brought my lanyard with me on a sailing, opting instead to carry my card in a pocket or my trusty, tiny Kate Spade crossbody (see below). But cruise lanyards are so popular among at-sea travelers — particularly children who might otherwise lose them and casino regulars, who need quick access for those slot machines — that I'd fit right in if I were to decide to go "vintage" (read: touristy).

Although these accessories don't seem like they'd require too much thought, you might be surprised at the variety available. From simple nylon numbers and flashy ones bedazzled with rhinestones for formal night to options that include protective plastic sleeves, here are some of the best cruise lanyards, along with a few non-lanyard alternatives.

Note: For some of these, you'll need to punch a hole in your keycard. Lines that don't automatically provide punched cards can usually accommodate the request at the front desk, but you might want to pack your own hole puncher, just in case. However, cruisers should be mindful that some keycards contain RFID technology that can be damaged by hole-punching.

Faux leather lanyards

disney cruise lanyard colors

For some classy flair, try a leather lanyard , which can be either dressed down for everyday use or dressed up to go with any dinner outfit during your cruise. This option is made of faux leather, which means it's vegan-friendly, and it comes in a variety of colors to boot. Amazon sells this lanyard in a two-pack, complete with a see-through cardholder so you won't have to punch a hole in your keycard, unless you'd rather use only the trigger clip.

Retractable lanyard necklaces

disney cruise lanyard colors

Necklace lanyards are a dressier way to wear your keycard around your neck. I like this two-pack, which comes with one silver and one rose gold lanyard, plus a removable, retractable clip that allows for extra length so you don't have to bend down to open your cabin door. You can also choose to attach your card with a keychain-style split ring, a lobster clasp or a clear, removable card pocket.

Crossbody phone holder

disney cruise lanyard colors

Personally, I'm always trying to juggle my phone and my keycard when I cruise; I usually put them in a small crossbody bag that holds both without being too cumbersome. I have a Kate Spade one , and I absolutely love it.

If that's too big or you're not someone who carries their phone around while they're sailing, I recommend a card holder . (I have a similar one, also by Kate Spade. The brand's now-defunct counterpart, Jack Spade, has a few still for sale out there, too. So do brands like Michael Kors, Herschel and Timberland.) The nice thing about a card holder is that it fits easily into a pocket, and both of these products are appropriate for everyday use, even when you aren't at sea.

Glitter lanyards

disney cruise lanyard colors

For passengers with the brightest of personalities, these sparkly rhinestone lanyards offer just the right amount of eye-catching glitz and glamour. Plus, they're versatile. You can choose to attach your punched keycard via a keychain-style ring, a standard trigger clip or a trigger clip that's attached to a retractable reel for easier access. This three-pack comes with one black, one silver and one pink lanyard.

Beaded lanyards

disney cruise lanyard colors

In my opinion, these silicone-beaded types are some of the most stylish lanyards available if you insist on wearing one. They look like necklaces but without the metallic or rhinestone touches. There are two ways to attach a punched card — with a metal trigger clip or a keychain-style split ring, both of which can be detached. They're sold in packs of two or three, each with a different design. They clasp in the back and can be adjusted to the desired length.

Stretchable wrist coils

disney cruise lanyard colors

If you just can't see yourself buying a lanyard for cruise use, these wrist coils are trendy, stylish and comfortable, as well as durable. They ensure your cruise keycard won't get lost but aren't as obtrusive as a neck lanyard. This pack offers six different colors so you and your travel companions can quickly tell whose is whose if you take them off. Bonus: Use them pre- or post-cruise for your keys, or remove the detachable split rings to use the coils as hair ties.

Basic nautical lanyards

disney cruise lanyard colors

For those who want a lanyard truly befitting a cruise experience, a nautical print is the way to go. This style is basic, featuring a metal trigger clip and a clear card protector, allowing you to choose whether you'd like to punch a hole in your card or put it in a protective sleeve. The order contains two lanyards in reverse blue-and-white color patterns so you and your travel companion can differentiate whose card is whose at a glance.

Detachable, retractable nautical lanyards

disney cruise lanyard colors

Similar to the basic nautical style above, this style offers a plastic clip that converts the lanyard to a smaller wristlet size that won't tangle in a purse or pocket. There's also a retractable cord that provides extra length so you can stretch your card to your cabin door card reader or the nearest onboard register without taking the lanyard off. This two-pack includes two identical lanyards , but unlike the ones above, they don't offer a clip or clasp option, making the plastic card sleeve a necessity.

Ridge minimalist slim wallet

disney cruise lanyard colors

For anyone looking for a cardholder without a strap, this industrial-style slim wallet by Ridge is made from military-grade RFID-blocking materials, fits easily into a pocket and features a lifetime guarantee. With its card slot and money clip, this wallet will not only secure your cruise keycard and small bills for tipping, but also it's great for everyday use when you're at home.

Basic solid lanyards

disney cruise lanyard colors

Whether you're traveling with a large group or need several lanyard colors to match all the outfits in your cruise wardrobe, this pack of eight basic solid-colored lanyards comes with swivel J hooks to keep your card secure and easily accessible. They're more traditional in that they aren't detachable or retractable, but they do come with plastic card sleeves.

Basic solid wrist strap lanyards

disney cruise lanyard colors

Want a less noticeable but equally effective way to tote your keycard? These basic solid-colored wrist straps , designed to carry USB drives, double as ideal lanyards for feather-light cruise cards. They have no extra bells or whistles, but they do come in a large pack with a variety of colors. To use them, you'll need to punch holes in your cards to take advantage of the small nylon thread loops.

Retractable belt clip badge holder

disney cruise lanyard colors

If you're in the market for a quick-draw utilitarian-style way to carry your card, consider a retractable one that clips handily to a belt , belt loop or purse with a carabiner clip. Attach your cruise keycard to it with a split ring by punching a hole in it, or use the provided tab to connect a clear plastic card holder (not included). This product also comes with a one-year warranty.

Woven wrist strap lanyards

disney cruise lanyard colors

Some of the most rugged and durable lanyards for cruises are these thick woven-style ones, which seem like they'd hold up for many voyages. They're shorter than a standard lanyard, come in lots of colors and patterns, and include a real leather fastener that connects to a round lobster clasp that's perfect for keycards with holes. This wristlet-style card wrangler is great for keeping your card close without wearing it around your neck.

New to Disney Cruises .....

Do children get a key card? If so, at what age do they receive one? We will be traveling with a 5 yo, 3 yo, and 1 yo, and just wondering if they need lanyards. Also, can you put a hole in the card? If so, where can you have that done on the Wonder or do I need to bring my own hole puncher? If not, I will look for the ones with the plastic holder. Thanks in advance for the help !

Yes everyone gets a key card. They're called key to the world cards or KTTW cards if you see the acronym here. The only difference is, they don't have charging privileges on them (unless you allow it to). I've never tried to punch a hole in them bc they give you lanyards with plastic cases to slip them in. I wouldn't think you could put a hole in them though, bc they open your stateroom door and it might mess up the technology inside them. You also use them to keep the lights on in your room. But you can just as easily put your Costco card or something else in that slot.

DCLCrazy is correct. I've been on other cruise lines, where they do give you lanyards that require you to punch a hole in the card, but not on DCL. We have a better class of lanyards :D

Everyone on board gets a KTTW card, but there is NO need for children to carry them around. Kids participating in the programming get a "magic band" type bracelet which they will need to wear when in the programming. YOU will need to have the KTTW card for everyone when boarding or exiting the ship.

Only return cruisers get lanyards. Yes, you can punch a hole in the KTTW card...but again, there is no need for a child to carry their own card. YOU can carry their card as they have no need to charge anything or enter/leave the room on their own. Until a kid is old enough to be moving around the ship without an adult, there is no need for them to carry their own card. At that point, they need it to return (unlock) the room door.

As DCL Crazy noted, you will need a credit card/KTTW card size something to turn on the lights in the cabin. You can use a KTTW card....or you can use a library card, bus pass, etc. of the same size. I really didn't like the idea of leaving my KTTW card in the slot as I found it too easy to forget when other people were still in the room (just me, I guess).

Is the light thing certain ships?

We didn't need a card to turn on the lights in our room on the Magic.

Thank you all for the info ! On Princess they will punch a hole in your card for you. I have the lanyard that just has the metal hook on it to hang the card with a hole. I will have to look for one with the plastic sleeve. Thanks again ! :D

Is the light thing certain ships?   We didn't need a card to turn on the lights in our room on the Magic.

Only on the two newer ships, Dream and Fantasy.

The light thing is on the Dream and Fantasy. It is common in many European hotels. On the ships.....I don't mind the light bit, but it also controls the AC. If you remove the card when you leave, you'll come back to a hot room. That's no fun. As a result, we use a card other than a KTTW card and leave the lights and AC on. I'd happily turn off the lights and leave the AC on, but that's not an option.

Right--any card of the correct size will work.

I found lanyards for $1 each at Party City - they had various kids character options. We got Star Wars, Lightning McQueen, and Blaze. Then I ordered these plastic sleeves from Amazon: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01JYSEGK8/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o07_s01?ie=UTF8&psc=1 . Worked pretty well! The kids actually wanted to wear theirs with their KTTW cards because all the adults were. It could be a hassle because I worried more about them losing the cards, but it was fine. They liked being able to use their cards to unlock our door!

So, 1st time cruisers don't get lanyards unless they buy them?

Unless something has changed quite recently, you are correct. Repeat cruisers get different color lanyards indicating their Castaway Club status.

If you happen to be DVC, you will get a DVC lanyard too.

However, on a few of our cruises we have returned to the room to find that the room steward had lifted the card high enough to turn off the lights and the A/C. :( They subsequently honored our request to leave the card in place.
Thank you jbirdie56 ! I got the $1 ones at Party City. They will love them - just for fun ! They will feel special and grown up !

No, you can still turn the lights off/on with their individual switches. The AC won't go off unless you remove the card. Removing the card is like turning off the main breaker at home; it turns everything off.

thanks! This comment from moki made me question it "I'd happily turn off the lights and leave the AC on, but that's not an option."

Correct--each light has an individual switch, so you can run around the room turning them off. The card slot at the door turns them all off...and the AC as well. BUT if you turn off the lights at each light, you have to find a switch to turn them on when you come in. It's fairly easy to hold the door open and find the bathroom light switch if you come in after dark or have an inside room. THere is also a reflector thing by the door, but it doesn't generate enough light for me to see anything...would probably enable me to find the exit door at night in an emergency.

I'm so glad! They will look so cute. Have a great time! :D

I didn't bother with the lanyard and kept the KTTW card in my cargo pocket and the wife has a phone case with a credit card pocket. The new Navigator app has an onboard text messaging system so, we carried our phone around instead of the old Wave room phones.

I did carry the Wave phone around when we had the kids checked into the kids clubs.

Lanyard does anyone know if you are concierge class and have never sailed Disney before will you get a lanyard .?

Shmoo here

I don't believe so. The lanyards are for returning DCL cruisers. If you're a first time DCL cruiser = no lanyard.

That said, Concierge guests can certainly request just about anything they want.

No, you will not. You will get a gold colored KTTW card which signals anyone to whom you hand a card that you are concierge. Lanyards indicate to the crew that you are a repeat cruiser and how many times you have cruised.

There are Disney themed lanyards for sale in the gift shops.

I honestly can't say what the concierge might be able to do for you if you asked, but the silver, gold, and platinum lanyards are supposed to be for those who have "earned" them in the same way the gold KTTW cards are for those who have paid for them. Concierge guests who have cruised DCL before will get a lanyard based on their status.

We got a castaway club lanyard last time (2nd cruise) and didn't know if we should bring them this time or if we get a new one. Also, our old ones have a plastic ziplock pouch on the end of it. Did that come with the lanyard? Just can't remember! Please help.

You will get new ones. I can not remember if their is a pouch on mine or not. Sorry.

The lanyards are color specific according to how many Disney cruise you have been on. They are silver for 1-5, then they change to gold etc. They all have a plastic pouch with a zipper slide on them.

mmouse37

Yes, lanyards for each cruise (they will be handed to you at check-in at the terminal) in the color associated with your CC level. And they do have a clear plastic holder on the end for your KTTW card. MJ

Thank you all!

Do you get one for your first cruise?

If it is a first time cruise for some of the party, will they also be provided a lanyard/plastic sleeve? Wasn’t sure if I should look into purchasing ones for the first time cruisers in our party.

First time cruisers do not receive the free lanyards when they check in

Thanks for asking this. We are silver castaway and have always gotten the lanyards but we are going with 3 couples that are all first timers and I wasn't sure if they would get them or if should pick some up ahead of time for them.

They don't give out lanyard to first timers as a general rule as it is one of the perks for return cruisers but with everything in life I am sure there were exceptions.... but don't expect them if you are first time cruiser. MJ

Hi, I've cruised twice on the dream and did receive lanyards the first time we cruised and the second. I guess it depends on who you get when you check in? Not sure why we got them and others didn't. In fact I got laynards each time I cruised and I got DVC lanyards on top of those. I have so many I'm not sure I can use them all. LOL

Earning My Ears

We took our first cruise this January on the Magic. Our KTTW cards do not have a number. I read that we should be getting something regarding Castaway Club , do you know how long that takes?

We cruised for the first time last year with my parents (who are platinum) and didn't get lanyards (we asked for them and were told we can only get them on our second cruise...which is in 1 week yea!!!!) My parents got two sets...one for CCC and one for DVC so they gave us their extras. HTH
