Dynastytour 1979. In 1979 KISS were no longer just KISS, but SuperKISS! And the new outfits were reflecting the new superhero image! For the solo albums each member had their own signature color, and this was incorporated into the outfits, and the shows as well.

The DynastyTour was a concert tour by the rock band Kiss. It was also the final tour with original member Peter Criss until the Alive/Worldwide Tour in 1996. Background. The Dynasty Tour, also known as "The Return of Kiss", was the first tour to feature the famous flying stunt by Gene Simmons.

The DYNASTYTour featured some of KISS' most flamboyant costumes to date and several new special effects including Gene flying up to the lighting truss during "God of Thunder" and Ace's chaser light guitar, which had knobs that made the lights on the guitar chase in different ways.

The cathrine wheels were hidden by two metal stars, one of which are visible in picture 2 (marked with a (c)). During the encore Beth, Peter was handing out roses to people in the audience (see picture 7). Picture 6 gives you a look at the diamond shaped lighting rig used on this tour!

KISS dynasty. (i really love the costumes from that era)
my favorite costume from that era is ace's outfit. i really love the look and that cape. my least favorite outfit from ace is the one from music from the elder/creatures of the night. i found it to be too simple compare to the crazy outfit he wears

I think the Love Gun suits are my favorite and probably the most iconic look. I do love the Dynasty gear (especially the capes), although the mods they made for the 1980 Australia tour (short jackets for Paul and Eric) are an improvement.
