Checking in with Jet2.com

I have flights booked on Jet2 but am unable to access manage booking. The flight locator I’ve been given doesn’t start with a 2 so won’t work on the Jet2 site. 

I was told on the phone that Jet2 don’t give Celebrity the actual locator until 30 days before departure. It’s now 21 days and when I called Celebrity they told me to use my existing locator at Jet2.com/royalcaribbean but that link doesn’t exist or just goes to the Jet2 homepage. 

I don’t want to have to keep ringing them, anyone any experience with this?

Just use the link that has been given and you can go into your booking. We had to wait till 20 days before sailing but it does work.

Thank you. It’s not working at present but it’ll be 20 days tomorrow so fingers crossed.

That link worked for me with our surname and celebrity booking ref, I’m not sure how far out but I’m sure around the 20/21 day mark.

Enter surname and make sure you use the correct reference, try your travel agent booking reference and if that doesn't work input the Celebrity reference. You should have access by now.

Thanks for that, but that link just takes me to an error page. Nothing’s working and I haven’t had an email response yet. 

I only have a Celebrity reference as booked directly with them. 

It’s not the end of the world if we have to check in at the airport but thanks for trying. 

Problem finally solved. I was putting in the wrong booking reference. Every time I spoke to them (in the USA) they were telling me to input the flight reference number that appears on my edocs when what I needed to put in was the cruise booking number. Thankfully, I managed to get through to the U.K. and they put me right, I knew it must be me doing something wrong. 

 Thanks to those above who were telling me what to do, it’s always simple when you know what you’re doing.

When can I book Flights by Celebrity?

You are able to book your flights from 330 days to 4 days before your cruise departs.

Can I request my airline seats?

Yes, you can request seat assignments in instances where the airline makes them available to Celebrity Cruises®. Most air carriers charge a fee for early seat assignment requests and when this occurs you will be directed to contact the airline directly to confirm your seating.

Will I accumulate miles if I’m an airline loyalty member?

Yes, you will accumulate miles for your flights if you’re a member of the airline’s loyalty program.

I am travelling with an infant, do they need a ticket?

When travelling internationally with an infant who will sit on your lap (a child under 2) please contact our Flights by Celebrity℠ Specialists at 800-533-7803 to confirm your reservation. If you are travelling domestically, please contact the carrier to advise that you will be travelling with an infant. If you want your infant to have their own seat, you must purchase a full fare additional seat.

Can I check in for my flights online?

Check-in guidelines are determined by the operating carrier for your flights. You can visit the airline’s website to check-in usually within 24 hours prior to flight time. To check-in online you will need the airline confirmation number which is usually displayed in the upper right hand corner of your Flights by Celebrity℠ confirmation.

Do you offer travel insurance?

CruiseCare insurance is available at an additional cost as part of your cruise purchase. Flights by Celebrity℠ coverage is included in the CruiseCare policy. Ask your Flights by Celebrity℠ Specialist or travel agent for details.

Is Flights by Celebrity available to all residents?

No, Flights By Celebrity is only available to US, Canada, UK, Ireland and Australia residents.

What type of air fares do you offer?

Flights by Celebrity℠ offers some of the most competitive refundable with fee, or non-refundable rates for economy, first or business (where applicable) travel.

Why don’t I see basic economy fare options on my preferred airline?

A selection of airlines offer basic economy fares however those fares are extremely limiting and come with many restrictions. Usually check in luggage is prohibited, there is not an option to pre reserve seats or request upgrades, and the guest is not able to change the flight or cancel for a refund.

What happens if I find a cheaper fare somewhere else?

Flights by Celebrity℠ gives you the best prices available on your flights. We guarantee it. Our Lowest Airfare Guarantee* means you get the best value in air travel – a benefit no other cruise line offers. So, there’s no need to jump from site to site comparing rates. And, if you book with us and find a lower fare, we’ll credit you 110% of the difference to spend onboard your cruise. Either way – you win.

The flight must be available and the flight itinerary must be identical including airline, fare rules, flights, dates, and times. Lowest Airfare Guarantee applies only to the base fare of the flight without including any taxes and fees.

Can I change my flights?

Changes to your itinerary can be made however these changes are subject to any applicable airline penalties and fees.

Can I cancel my flight?

Yes, you can cancel your flight. Cancellation penalties vary based on the type of ticket that you purchased. Non-refundable tickets will not provide a refund, however, some airlines will issue you a credit for the value of your air ticket valid for one year from the date of issue. Additional fees and penalties will apply at the time of re-use. If you have purchased a refundable ticket, cancellations are subject to a fee with the balance refunded to the last form of payment used on your cruise reservation.

What is your refund policy?

One of the options available with Flights by Celebrity℠ are refundable tickets. These tickets are less restrictive than non-refundable tickets and allow you to cancel, pay a fee and receive a refund for any value over and above the fee.

Why were my flights changed?

Occasionally, our airline partners’ make changes to the times that flights operate; the type of aircraft; or even the city that flights originate from. When this happens we will work with the airline to get you re-accommodated to get you to your cruise vacation.

What happens when my flight is delayed?

Our Protection benefit provides Assured Arrival as our guarantee to assist our Flights by Celebrity℠ guests when they encounter any flight disruptions that occur through no fault of their own. We have a team of Emergency Travel Specialists standing by that proactively monitor flights and act as a liaison between our ships and our guests. This team is available to assist you 24 hours a day, 7 days a week or by phone 800-533-7803 (Option 4). If the flight gets cancelled or delayed and Celebrity Cruises is unable to get the guest to the ship, we will offer a Future Cruise Credit and refund the cost of the flight.

Are all our fares refundable?

No, we will still have an offering of non-refundable fares, and when selected will require immediate payment.

If I select a refundable fare, when is payment due?

The cost of the air is added to the total balance due for the cruise reservation and payment will follow cruise payment guidelines.

How come when I select a refundable fare, I am being asked for credit card details?

If your travel dates fall within final payment guidelines, full payment for air will be required even though you selected a refundable fare.

How will I know that my flights have been confirmed without providing credit card details?

If you select a refundable fare, the payment page will not display and you will receive your confirmed air itinerary.

I have purchased one of these fares and I need to make a change, how will this be handled?

Guests/travel partners will need to contact a Flights by Celebrity Specialist who will make the requested change. Outside of final payment, no air penalties will apply. Guest will be responsible for differences in fare.

Are these fares fully refundable?

Outside of final cruise payment air penalties will not apply and the fare is fully refundable. After final payment, $200 per person air penalty applies.

Is Pay Later available to all residents?

No, Pay later is only available to US, Canada, and Australia residents.

How do I check in online?

Begin by signing in to Guest Account at the top of this website. For mobile and tablet users, please click the menu on the top left and then click Sign In. The Online Check-In process for all guests in your reservation needs to be completed at least three days prior to your sail date.

Since government regulations require cruise lines to submit final departure manifests at least 60 minutes prior to sailing, this will save you time having to fill out forms at the pier. If you have not completed Online Check-in, you will be required to complete this process at the pier two hours prior to the published sailing time.

Please note:  Xpress Pass guests whose cruise departs from ports in the United States are required to be at the pier and checked-in no later than 60 minutes prior to the published sailing time or you may not be permitted to board. For a cruise that departs from other ports not in the United States, please verify on your Guest Ticket Booklet.

Once you have completed the Online Check-In process, you will receive an Xpress Pass. It indicates that you successfully completed the check-in process for yourself and those guests listed on your Xpress Pass.

Can I check in for my flights online?

Check-in guidelines are determined by the operating carrier for your flights. You can visit the airline’s website to check-in usually within 24 hours prior to flight time. To check-in online you will need the airline confirmation number which is usually displayed in the upper right hand corner of your Flights by Celebrity℠ confirmation.

Do you offer travel insurance?

CruiseCare insurance is available at an additional cost as part of your cruise purchase. Flights by Celebrity℠ coverage is included in the CruiseCare policy. Ask your Flights by Celebrity℠ Specialist or travel agent for details.

Is Flights by Celebrity available to all residents?

No, Flights By Celebrity is only available to US, Canada, UK, Ireland and Australia residents.

Will there be a service fee for using Flights by Celebrity to book my air?

Yes, a nominal service fee of $15 USD per person for travel within North America and $25 USD per person for International travel will be included within your airfare rate. What type of air fares do you offer?

Flights by Celebrity℠ offers some of the most competitive refundable with fee, or non-refundable rates for economy, first or business (where applicable) travel.

Why don’t I see basic economy fare options on my preferred airline?

A selection of airlines offer basic economy fares however those fares are extremely limiting and come with many restrictions. Usually check in luggage is prohibited, there is not an option to pre reserve seats or request upgrades, and the guest is not able to change the flight or cancel for a refund.

What happens if I find a cheaper fare somewhere else?

Flights by Celebrity℠ gives you the best prices available on your flights. We guarantee it. Our Lowest Airfare Guarantee* means you get the best value in air travel – a benefit no other cruise line offers. So, there’s no need to jump from site to site comparing rates. The flight must be available and the flight itinerary must be identical including airline, fare rules, flights, dates, and times. Lowest Airfare Guarantee applies only to the base fare of the flight without including any taxes and fees.

Can I change my flights?

Changes to your itinerary can be made however these changes are subject to any applicable airline penalties and fees.

Can I cancel my flight?

Yes, you can cancel your flight. Cancellation penalties vary based on the type of ticket that you purchased. Non-refundable tickets will not provide a refund, however, some airlines will issue you a credit for the value of your air ticket valid for one year from the date of issue. Additional fees and penalties will apply at the time of re-use. If you have purchased a refundable ticket, cancellations are subject to a fee with the balance refunded to the last form of payment used on your cruise reservation.

What is your refund policy?

One of the options available with Flights by Celebrity℠ are refundable tickets. These tickets are less restrictive than non-refundable tickets and allow you to cancel, pay a fee and receive a refund for any value over and above the fee.

Why were my flights changed?

Occasionally, our airline partners’ make changes to the times that flights operate; the type of aircraft; or even the city that flights originate from. When this happens we will work with the airline to get you re-accommodated to get you to your cruise vacation.

What happens when my flight is delayed?

Our Protection benefit provides Assured Arrival as our guarantee to assist our Flights by Celebrity℠ guests when they encounter any flight disruptions that occur through no fault of their own. We have a team of Emergency Travel Specialists standing by that proactively monitor flights and act as a liaison between our ships and our guests. This team is available to assist you 24 hours a day, 7 days a week or by phone 800-533-7803 (Option 4). If the flight gets cancelled or delayed and Celebrity Cruises is unable to get the guest to the ship, we will offer a Future Cruise Credit and refund the cost of the flight.

Are all our fares refundable?

No, we will still have an offering of non-refundable fares, and when selected will require immediate payment.

If I select a refundable fare, when is payment due?

The cost of the air is added to the total balance due for the cruise reservation and payment will follow cruise payment guidelines.

How come when I select a refundable fare, I am being asked for credit card details?

If your travel dates fall within final payment guidelines, full payment for air will be required even though you selected a refundable fare.

How will I know that my flights have been confirmed without providing credit card details?

If you select a refundable fare, the payment page will not display and you will receive your confirmed air itinerary.

I have purchased one of these fares and I need to make a change, how will this be handled?

Guests/travel partners will need to contact a Flights by Celebrity Specialist who will make the requested change. Outside of final payment, no air penalties will apply. Guest will be responsible for differences in fare.

Are these fares fully refundable?

Outside of final cruise payment air penalties will not apply and the fare is fully refundable. After final payment, $200 per person air penalty applies.

Is Pay Later available to all residents?

No, Pay later is only available to US, Canada, and Australia residents.

Hi All -  We are doing the Southern route from Puerto Rico.  We are two couples and neither have purchased any type of phone plan.  Is there a computer area just to purchase minutes so we can log in to our flight the day before? We are in Concierge Class.  I saw that someone posted they have their concierge do it.  That makes me a little nervous.  I am the type of person that I want to do it myself to make sure it gets done.  Any suggestions?  Our last day on the ship is a sea day.  Thanks.

There are computers on the ship. Sometimes they can be slow. You can buy time and get your boarding passes

You can go the Internet Café the last day, but honestly it's easier to go to the Concierge. We've done it dozens of times without issue. The Concierge is very capable, has done it many more times than you have, and will get it done accurately.

You can purchase some internet time and get your boarding passes. There are a few times when you are required to secure boarding passes at the airport, but usually not from PR.

Like you, I take care of any computer related detail myself.  Go to the IT room (airline doesn't open the check-in capability until 24 hrs prior to flight time), use one of the PCs, and complete your airline check-in.  In my experience, if you have no 'minutes' left, the IT specialist in the room will log on using his/her own sign-on giving you the minutes you need.

Unless you’re trying to check in on Southwest, there are very, very few scenarios (if any?) that require you to have a boarding pass or check in  before you get to the airport. If you’re on Southwest, you’re probably better suited just purchasing Early Bird checkin instead of buying a WiFi package just for that purpose.

I cannot figure out why people want to print out boarding passes on the ship.  There are convenient kiosks at the airport.  You can do Luggage Valet Service for $25.  Early Bird on SWA.  All these options are probably cheaper than purchasing a one day Internet package.  And less aggravation....

Look for the iLounge.  I am not sure where it is on the Summit, but there will be one.

I really don't care about the boarding pass as I can print at airport however I would like to choose my seat when checkin opens up. I don't have an internet package would concierge let me go online and check in?

It's quite possible that the Concierge won't have desk hours at the time that check in opens. We usually have preselected seats. However if you meet with the Concierge ahead of time and let them know your preferences they will do it for you. In my experience they didn't let me go online myself but did a great job of taking care of it perfectly while I went about the ship enjoying my last day/night aboard.

So is this a  Concierge Class perk that AQ class guests can share? Or is it exclusive like the  boarding lunch?

   Never saw or met the alleged AQ class Concierge..not sure there is one..

The Concierge onboard is available to all guests.... their services are not based on your cabin category.

My flight is at 1 PM so I will see if they can do it for me however may have to give passport details in which case I will see if they will allow me or else I will just pick seats at airport.  Not a big deal.

Hopefully the IT room will be open.  On our last Silhouette cruise the IT Department decided to schedule a class in the IT  room from 11:15 to 12:15 on the last day.  Prime Time to get your boarding pass.

That's correct. Even though the concierge is touted as being a perk for Concierge class, his or her services are available to everyone on board.

If the Ilounge stays in the same place after the refurbishment, it is located on deck 6, right opposite the midship elevators.

I spend the extra money to pick out my seat.  Don't want to spend time on a cruise worrying about  getting a good seat on a plane.  Pay a couple of thousand for a cruise and what is another few bucks  to get a "premium" coach seat...

We avoid the whole hassle of printing out boarding passes by simply having the airline app on our iphones. Once check-in is allowed, we check in using the app and the boarding passes are downloaded onto our phones. Much simpler than having to keep track of a piece of paper. If you haven’t paid for any internet minutes on the ship, just wait until the ship has docked and your regular internet service will be available. Easy to take care of while you wait for your turn to disembark.
