So, if someone has stood out and made your cruise that much more memorable, please let us know.
The survey is sent a day or two after the return and guests have 10 days to complete it. The survey works on smart phones, tablets, laptops, and other computers.

Formal Nights
Formal nights (or Elegant nights) are those in which formal dress is encouraged. That means dress pants with a dress shirt and sport coat for men, and for women, this means cocktail dresses, a pantsuit, or a skirt. If you want to go all out with a tuxedo or evening gown, that’s acceptable, too!
While formal dress is encouraged, it’s not required throughout the ship. However, the main dining room will require formal attire on Elegant nights. On those nights, shorts, T-shirts, beach flip-flops, bathing suits, jeans, sleeveless shirts for men, sportswear, and baseball hats are not permitted in the dining rooms.

The unique open-jaw itinerary sails to Yokohama, a port near Tokyo, and features six ports of call.
Part of Carnival Cruise Line’s Carnival Journeys concept, the cruise starts with visits to three destinations in Alaska: Ketchikan, Sitka and Icy Strait Point.
Before crossing the Pacific Ocean, the 4,000-passenger vessel is also set to offer scenic cruising at the Endicott Arm Fjord.
Following eight full days at sea, the ship is scheduled to arrive in Asia for the first time, visiting Otaru and Aomori, in Japan.

In addition to routine maintenance and class work, the 135,000-ton ship is expected to receive Carnival’s new livery during the shipyard stay, as well as occasional upgrades to its public areas and cabins.
After the completion of the work, the Carnival Panorama is set to offer an even longer trans-Pacific itinerary.
Sailing in the opposite direction, the 25-night voyage sails from Singapore to Long Beach on Oct. 12, 2024.

Before You Book
- Deposits are required for all cruises; deposit and payment due dates depend on cruise length. Typically, final payment is due 76 days before two- to five-day sailings and 91 days in advance of cruises that sail for six or more days, though this varies by destination.
- Early Saver, Super Saver and Pack & Go rates are cheaper than regular cruise rates. However, cancellation policies are stricter for these fares, so be sure to read the fine print . In addition, when booking at a Super Saver or Pack & Go rate, your fare is set and Carnival will choose your cabin location and deck.
- Cancellations for a full refund must be made up to 76 days before your sailing (for trips five days or less) or 91 days prior to sailing (for trips six days or more). If you miss these deadlines, you will forfeit your deposit and/or a percentage of the total fare paid, depending on the cancellation timeframe. If you cancel 14 days prior to sailing, you will receive no refund.
- For most sailings, Carnival Cruise Line requires passengers to be at least 6 months old, though some itineraries require guests to be 1 year or older. Pregnant women who will reach 24 weeks before or during the cruise may not take the voyage due to safety concerns.
- Accessible staterooms are assigned on a first-come, first-served basis. Guests who are hearing impaired and need an interpreter are encouraged to give the cruise line a 60-day notice. Guests with special needs requests can contact Carnival's Guest Access team at 1-800-438-6744, ext. 70025 or email [email protected] before their cruise departure date.
Before You Board
- Certain ports of call require a passport that's valid for six months after your trip and a visa from the country to which you are traveling, which must be obtained before your cruise. For American citizens ages 16 and older departing from and returning to the same U.S. port (excluding those traveling to Cuba), a government-issued photo ID will suffice. Visit the U.S. State Department website for more information on visa requirements.
- Check the Centers for Disease Control (CDC) and World Health Organization (WHO) websites for the latest vaccination information for countries on your itinerary.
- Carnival passengers can check in online up to 14 days prior to their cruise departure and must do so before midnight EST on the morning of departure. All guests are required to board the ship by the Final Boarding time printed on the boarding pass or they will not be allowed to cruise.
- Up to two pieces of luggage weighing no more than 50 pounds each are permitted per person, though Carnival suggests bringing only one bag per person for cruises that last fewer than five days. Size restrictions apply for both checked bags and bags carried onto the ship by guests, so consult Carnival's website before your departure date.
- You can book both shore excursions and reservations at specialty restaurants prior to boarding the ship. Shore excursions can be reserved up to 11:59 p.m. EST two days before cruise departure, while specialty dining reservations can be made up to 48 hours prior to departure. Though you can book both shore excursions and dining reservations on board, Carnival recommends booking in advance for the best options.
Disclaimers about ship ratings: A ship’s Health Rating is based on vessel inspection scores published by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC). If a ship did not receive a CDC score within 22 months prior to the calculation of its Overall Rating, its Health Rating appears as N/A; in such a case, the ship’s Overall Rating is calculated using the average Health Rating of all CDC-rated ships within the cruise line. All ship Traveler Ratings are based on ratings provided under license by Cruiseline.com.

Customer Service email?

During the black Friday discount, I cancelled some shore excursions and rebooked them using the 10% off code. (this was November 24). I quickly got all refunds of the originally booked excursions that I had made using a credit card. There was one purchased (x 2 ppl) with a gift card, so I expect to get refunded with a gift card.
I still hadn't received the refund (just over $100), so I called and talked to someone at Carnival on 12/16. Eventually, she said that "the manager" put in a request for the gift card to be sent out.
Still no refund. I would like to email so I can have something on record with the conversation. I'm not in a super hurry, but certainly would like it before our cruise 1/20/18!
So.....anyone have an email for customer service? I can't find one.

I don't have an email address and I agree, it would be nice to get this in writing. Another approach would be put a call recorder on your cell phone and only use cell phone for these calls. It's MUCH easier to find your call with them recorded on your phone, than them finding the recorded call in thousands of calls.

Curious if you ever received your Carnival gift card refund? I am in the same boat. We went on the Liberty Januray 7th, 2018 cruise. I had canceled an excursion BEFORE going on the cruise. My payments was split $139.20 on Carnival gift card and a little over $20 on a credit card. The credit card portion was refunded within 10 days......I have called Carnival 5-6 times about the gift card portion and keep getting the run around. One woman told me it was sent to the wrong address and that it was sent back to them and literally asked if I wanted it credit as payment towards my next cruise or onboard credit.....I opted for payment. She emailed a new receipt....NO credit. The last call I made got me nowhere as well. The woman was very friendly but still no refund. I told her that I just don't want to waste my time calling anymore and if I don't get the credit in two weeks I'm going to cancel our Summer cruise and book with a different line. Well.......I'm still waiting! I can't believe nobody there can just credit my account the money that they owe me. This is very frustrating.
I did finally get my gift card refund the 2nd week of January (6 weeks after I canceled ) I had emailed and called multiple times .I did get the following info from them and I think this is how I finally got it.
" To better assist you with a refund on shore excursions, please contact our Online Support Department at 1-800-522-7648 or 305-599-2600 ext. 72599 . They are available Monday through Sunday, between the hours of 8:00AM to 10:00 PM ET."
Thank you!!! I just sent out an email. Now I wait again.

Cancelled my Carnival Cruise on 7/09/18. Called today 7/19/18 about my refund. Accounting department claim they forgot to issue my credit. Now they claim it will be 7 to 10 business days. What kind of film flam company is this. I have traveled with them 14 times never again.:mad::mad:
bingomamma19
Flim flam company...LOL They made a mistake, as all companies, big or small do. They are correcting it.
If you have been on them 14 times, I assume you realize they are not some "fly by night" company that is taking off with your money :)
