How to Find a Baby Registry
You’ve been invited to a baby shower for a friend, relative or coworker, but you don’t know what gift to buy. That’s where the baby registry comes in. But with so many options for baby registries available these days, there are several ways to find the one you need.
Most of the time, when you receive a baby shower invitation, the hosts provide a link to the new parents’ registry. However, if they didn’t, or you weren’t invited to a shower and just want to pick up a gift for someone special, there are many sites out there that allow the parents-to-be register and ask for gifts from multiple stores all in one place. One popular site is Baby List. To find a registry, all you need to do is enter the name of one of the new parents, and the site should guide you right to their page.
Another similar option is the website The Bump. The site has a baby registry finder that allows you to enter one of the future parents’ names, and it can then help you find their registry as long as they’re registered at a shop from a specific selection of stores. They include Target, Walmart, Pottery Barn Kids, Amazon, Crate and Barrel, BuyBuyBaby and several other stores that sell baby goods. When you receive your results, you’ll see each registry the parents created at each store.
My Registry is a site dedicated to helping you find baby and wedding registries along with wish lists for other occasions. You can search for registries by entering one of the new parents’ names, or you can perform an advanced search and add more identifying information, like the relevant city, state or country. The site allows new parents to sync registries they already have and create a whole new registry from stores like Target, Walmart, Etsy, IKEA and Disney.
If you can’t find what you’re looking for via one of the above sites, go straight to the store’s website where the new mom or dad may have registered. Again, check the invitation or think about where the new parents-to-be like to shop. If all else fails, ask the new parents or their closest family members and friends. You can also take a few minutes and search some of the popular stores for baby registries.

If you can’t find what you’re looking for online, you may find it by actually visiting the store. Target, Walmart, Ikea and Pottery Barn are some of the popular brick-and-mortar stores for baby registries, according to Today’s Parent. Many of these big box stores have kiosks where you can search for registries and print them out. If you can’t find the kiosk, talk to someone at customer service.

Your Reservation Consultant will assist you with every step of the process. They are there to answer your every question about deposits, Credits, and reservations. What’s more, they can help you choose your ideal resort destination and let you know about special offers.
The Interval of time you deposit is worth a designated number of Credits in The Registry Collection ® system. The same is true of the Intervals of time at every other property in the Portfolio. These Credits are how you make an exchange reservation for a holiday at any of the other properties in the Portfolio.
Depositing An Interval
This is how you gain Credits in order to make an exchange reservation. You may deposit Intervals from your resort anytime two years (730 days) to 60 days in advance of the check-in date of the Interval you are depositing. Intervals can only be deposited in increments of 7 nights unless otherwise noted.
Making the Exchange Reservation
Once you make a reservation for a property in the Portfolio, you exchange your Credits to complete the transaction. What happens when the Credits for my Interval are more or less than the Credits required for the holiday I want? In some cases, you can make multiple reservations for one deposited Interval. In other cases, you may need to deposit multiple Intervals to reserve one Interval from another resort. You may even borrow Credits from a deposited Interval from next year. The system is flexible and you get to choose how you use your Credits. Reservations are always in 7-night increments unless otherwise noted.
At times, a property may not be available at the moment you make your request. When this occurs, the most effective way to obtain your desired request is through the Ongoing Search feature. By simply indicating your desired travel dates, locations and size of accommodations, your request will be placed on a waiting list and an automated, round-the-clock search for your selections will be initiated for up to 60 days in advance of the vacation start date. If your selection becomes available, a Reservation Consultant will telephone you with the details and you will have 24 hours to confirm the vacation.

ANNIVERSARY YEAR The term of your membership in The Registry Collection program. It is always extended by one year at a time from the effective date you renew.

DEPOSITING AN INTERVAL The act of depositing holiday time for use with Exchange Privileges.

Please read this - especially if you are a registry collection member
In August of 2014 I reserved a 2 bedroom accommodation through the registry collection (we are members) for the Grand Luxxe Nuevo Vallarta for January 2015. Check in was a nightmare! At 1:00 pm we arrived at the check in desk and were told we did not have a reservation under our name. I had brought proof of our reservation that I received from the registry collection. Under no circumstances were the people at the Grand Luxxe going to accept that we had a reservation. We ended up calling the registry collection ourselves while sitting at the check in desk, handing the phone back and forth between the registry people and the check in people. Both were simply blaming the other. Finally after 2 hours of this nonsense I begged to have our luggage brought to me so I could at least get the kids into bathing suits and go to the pool while my husband dealt with this. He finally got supervisors on both ends involved and the registry people told us try to check in again at 5 o'clock which was the official check in time at the Grand Luxxe - they told us that there was probably a glitch in the computer and our names wouldn't appear until actual check in time. I still don't understand the logic of this. So my husband goes back at 5 o'clock and after another hour of being run around we... As it turns out, 7 other registry collection guests had the same thing happen to them at the same time we did. The registry collection did nothing on our behalf other than refund our points. I fully expected the people at the registry collection to intervene and take care of this for us, instead we spend a solid 4 hours on check in day dealing with this on our own. I met a family later the next day and they told us that they checked in around 5 (4 hours after us) and were given a 2 bedroom suit instead of the master suite they had booked! They assumed they were upgraded!! One thing we noticed is that if you belong to the registry collection and are not owners at the Grand Luxxe you will be treated very differently. The staff seemed to me to bend over backwards for owners and did almost nothing for the people who exchange. This was the most frustrating experience I've ever had. I'm very disappointed for so many reasons and would not come back here again. I just get the feeling it's a big mess and no one has a clue what's going on. It's a huge place, with thousands of owners and I just don't think the management can handle it. We have also had the same thing happened in Cabo - twice - at different resorts where we booked with the registry. The first time was another " lost " reservation and the second time we were booked for a 4 bedroom villa but only got a 3 bedroom - both times I had written confirmations from the registry collection. My point being is there is obviously problems within the registry collection too. More

Stayed here for a week last August with my in-laws. This is a 5 star resort with all the amenities. We were in a 4000 sq. ft. Loft, so it was pure luxury. Plenty of room for everyone. Gorgeous views of the city of PV. Staff was gracious and helpful. We are returning this year for 2 weeks!

The complex it's huge and pretty amazing. Everything is top quality. The apartment I stayed in was incredibly beautiful, the hardwood floors, quality of the furniture, the decoration and the shear size of it. The view is spectacular by the way. There is an option for every taste and everyone. Lots of different restaurants with cuisines from all over the world. There are lots of pools as every hotel in the resort has its own. Each one with a slightly different touch. The gardens are gorgeous and you can see a variety of plants, flowers and even some iguanas and geckos. Once I said that, the complex is so humongous that it takes an eternity to go from one place to another, either by walking or by the rubbish cart system they got. I believe it's made for preventing people to leave the property. Because in order to do that you have to go first to the "Santuario" that is a traffic hub with a bar. Once you get there, you can order a cab. This process is at least 15 minutes long. Taxis do not arrive to the door of the tower. You have to plan every move at least half an hour in advance (keep in mind that every other guest is doing the same). The resort is getting bigger and bigger so every move will be more complicated in the future. If you decide to walk there are a lot of pathways, through the gardens. The problem is that none of this pathways come in a straight line, so even when you see the building you want to go to, getting there is a pain. It took me about 25 minutes getting from my apartment to the Italian restaurant in the other side of the property. Be prepared to walk (a lot). The elevators are insufficient for the amount of people in the towers (peak hours), at least at tower 4 the one in which I stayed (several times we had to climb down the stairs). I imagine is not that different from the other ones. It would seem they don't have enough staff during peak hours (it felt that way) especially the ones that drive you around the resort. The beach is relatively small and a bit rocky (nothing to worry about). The plaza (shopping mall) is largely overpriced (convenience has a price, right?) The concierge service was good, but nothing to brag about. And when we really needed this service it let us down. The cleaning service was exceptionally good. After all I can say I enjoyed my vacation, but perhaps resorts as big as this are not really my thing.

This is a really well-kept, luxurious and well-run (except for check in - see below) resort. As mentioned by other reviewers, the place is absolutely massive. If you travel light and don't mind walking, you can take your stuff with you on the shuttles, but otherwise, you are dependent on electric golf carts for transportation everywhere. The rooms are absolutely massive (the living room was bigger than the entire first floor of my house), very well-appointed and very clean. Wi-Fi was free but you did have to log in several times a day. We had a 4th floor room in tower 3 looking out over the ocean and the river and the view was spectacular. I spent hours watching the teeming birdlife and the fishermen from a local village throwing out nets, as well as the boat traffic on the ocean. The pools on the property are gigantic and beautiful, the gym is extremely well equipped and never too crowded, and the whole property is landscaped with meticulous attention to detail. The beach is quite nice actually- you can walk out at low tide to a sandbar covered with frigate birds, egrets and pelicans. The restaurants are very good overall, especially considering that they are on a resort. I would especially like to commend the staff, all of whom were unfailingly courteous, efficient and warm. The only sour note was the check in process which took forever and required much discussion in order to get the rooms our group had asked for. We didn't get much of a hard sell for the time share presentation - one refusal was sufficient. However, this is essentially a gated community. There is even a class system here. Grand Luxxe visitors can go to the other resort properties and pools but they can't move on up to the Grand Luxxe amenities. This place is ideal for people whose idea of a vacation involves having everything just so, with no surprises - good or bad, with all wants taken care of, and with none of the mess, travails, or unexpected stress that comes with traveling and that makes every trip unique. Not my cup of tea - I was bored after 2 days (on family reunion trip) but if this is your idea of a vacation - then you will find the place to be quite excellent.

This is our 3rd time visiting the Grand Luxxe this year. In my last review I gave it a 4 star rating due to the ongoing construction on the Grand Luxxe side. The construction is mostly completed now with only touchups taking place in the lofts in 4B. The residence building is now complete as is the pool and restaurant for building 4. They are still completing the lakes and walkway that will take you to Sanctuario but there was not much activity while we were there. The new pools are a great addition and the restaurant gives guest in building 4 a much needed close dining option. I still believe that this resort has the friendliest, most caring staff of any we have ever visited. This includes the drivers, the maids and the grounds keepers. Everyone goes out of their way to greet you and make you feel welcomed. We had a party of 13 and one of the greeters at the taxi stand area that we have known for a while, invited us all to his house for Christmas eve. When we graciously declined, he personally delivered a bottle of tequila that he had purchased to our room as a present. You don't get that level of caring in most places. I also lost my cellphone in a taxi cab and within 12 hours the cab driver was located and the phone was returned. I had all but written that phone off but it is a testament to the caring nature of this staff. Finally I would like to mention our concierge (Columba) in tower 4B who did an amazing job taking care of all of our request and needs during our stay. She is an asset to this resort.

This was my 5th time back to this hotel and although the rooms are beautiful and the grounds are beautiful and most of the staff are wonderful - we unfortunately must travel during the major school holidays and what we used to love about this resort was that it was always relaxed and not overcrowded...that has now changed. They have now built it out to be so big that it has turned into the kind of hotel where you have to get out very early in the morning just to guarantee a seat by the pool (exactly the same reason we stopped going to Hawaii for the holiday breaks) There are lines for everything - shuttles, buffet, taxis - They just keep building more and it is turning into Disneyland. Once Cirque Du Soleil and the other amusement park features go in it will probably get even more crowded. I'm sure it is nowhere near as crowded on non-holiday times but if holiday breaks are the only time you can travel just be prepared - this is not the same quiet, relaxing place it used to be before all the towers opened up. It is still a beautiful hotel but at full capacity, the amount of pool space is not adequate. The other issue we had was there are really no shower facilities in the gym or anywhere else on property so if your flight is late in the afternoon or early evening they used to provide a 30 minute complimentary changing room - On my recent trip on the first day we were told we could use a room on our last day to shower before leaving for the airport. The night before we left we were told that there would be no changing rooms as they overbooked. There are no other places to change so I asked to speak to the manager to find an alternative plan. I was passed off to 3 different people and finally a manager who said she would call me back in 20 minutes. No call back. Very dissapointing customer service on their end. Our concierge was wonderful and tried very hard to help us. We really did love most of the staff.
