The ‘America’s Got Talent’ Live Shows are Back! Here’s How to Get Tickets

America’s Got Talent Season 16 is starting live shows very soon, and you could be in the audience for one of them. Fans can sign up now for tickets to appear in person at the Dolby Theatre in Hollywood.

AGT is going on a two-week hiatus during the Olympics, before returning with live shows on August 10. Shows will air on Tuesdays and Wednesdays through the month of August and into September.

How to Get ‘America’s Got Talent’ Tickets

The AGT Auditions Instagram account recently posted about getting tickets to be part of the live show audience. Fans can sign up through On Camera Audiences , which lays out the rules for attending these live tapings.

Fans must be fully vaccinated and at least 12 years of age to attend a live show. Remember that in order to be considered fully vaccinated, you must wait two weeks after your second dose of the Moderna or Pfizer vaccine, or a single dose of Johnson & Johnson vaccine.

The ticket page has more information about proper vaccination dates, according to which show you would like to attend. When you arrive to the show, you will be required to provide proof of vaccination, as well as a valid ID. As of right now, masks will be required among audience members.

What to Expect from the ‘AGT’ Live Shows

This season, the show is skipping the Judge Cuts round and instead moving straight from the auditions into the live shows. The six Golden Buzzer acts will automatically move on, but the rest of the acts are up in the air.

In the final episode of the Season 16 auditions, the judges gathered at Simon Cowell’s house to deliberate on which acts should move on. They have to narrow the competition down to 36 acts, and we won’t find out who made it until the next episode airs on August 10.

The good news is that the live shows also mark the start of fan voting, so you’ll have a chance to support your favorite acts from week to week.

America’s Got Talent ( AGT ) is back! Season 18 premiered on Tuesday, May 30 on NBC, introducing long time fans, and those tuning into the competition series for the first time, to a new crop of talented hopefuls vying for $1 million dollar grand prize.

Judges Simon Cowell, Heidi Klum, Howie Mandel, and Sofia Vergara, as well as host Terry Crews, are back to see who has what it takes to make it all the way, and who won’t make it past the audition portion of the contest. What makes AGT so unique is that it’s not a competition that focuses on one talent. Singers, dancers, ventriloquists, comedians, spoken word poets, dog trainers, and more have the opportunity to win. It all just depends on whose talent is most beloved by the judges and the audience.

If you’ve caught an episode of the series then you know it takes place in front of a live studio audience, but you may not know where it’s filmed or how to get tickets. Here’s what we know!

Where is America’s Got Talent filmed?

According to NBC , the audition rounds were filmed at the Pasadena Civic Auditorium in Pasadena, CA from March 23, 2023 to April 12, 2023. If you’d like to be a part of the audience during the auditions in another season, be on the lookout for tickets. You’ll also be able to bring your child(ren) along if they’re 8 years old or older.

Tickets for the live shows, which begin Aug. 22, aren’t on sale yet. However, you can sign up for updates, here . Typically, information on shows will be posted up to 60 days before the event is set to take place. The AGT live shows will also be filmed at Pasadena Civic Auditorium.

A new wave one-stop shop will tour North America this summer when Howard Jones and ABC will be hitting stages across North America with special guest Haircut 100. The full itinerary appears below.

Of course, the evening will play out like an evening filled with hits from the early days of MTV, when the so-called “Second British Invasion” dominated the channel. Jones’ hits “New Song” and “What Is Love,” and “Things Can Only Get Better” probably segued into or out of ABC’s “Look of Love,” “Poison Arrow” and “Be Near Me” and Haircut 100’s “Love Plus One” and “Fantastic Day.”

All three acts have gone on to other successes, but this tour brings together the songs and sounds that first brought them to fame.

You may not have realized what goes on behind the scenes from when Contestants sign up for AGT. Theresa Graham, manger of unscripted formats at NBC, filled us in on the details.

“We have open call Auditions virtually to reach as many people as possible. Anybody can sign up and have an Audition with our casting team and producers. If they think that somebody is worth considering, they put them through to our executive producers. After they say yes, then the Act will go to audition in front of the Judges. We all see everything play out from there,” she told NBC Insider . “Because it's a variety show, they want to make sure they’re finding the best singers , dancers, contortionists, and more. Anybody with any talent can audition."

“We want the best of the best, no matter what the talent is and no matter who they are. So we encourage everybody with any talent to audition, and if it’s something that we love, something that we think America will love, we will put them in front of the Judges. We just want to really represent America and the great and diverse talent that we have out there,” Graham said.
