Plantronics Voyager Legend Firmware Update

• Connect the USB charge cable to your Voyager Legend
• Plug the other end into your computer
• Download the Plantronics Hub
• When the download is complete, open the Hub and click the "Notifications" tab
• It will show an update or you can click "search for updates"
• Once the update is complete your Plantronics Voyager Legend is ready to use

Plantronics has released a new firmware update for Voyager Legend on MyHeadset Updater .

Existing Legend users can now upgrade their headset online on the PC to activate the new features:-

• Improved wind noise cancellation: The wind noise performance is been vastly improved. Legend with new FW can tolerate up to 18mph wind gusts. Voyager Pro and first-Gen Legend tolerated only 10mph wind gusts.
• (New) Mandarin: voice alert, voice command, caller Name announce (support both simplified and Traditional Chinese phonebook);
• (New) Japanese: voice alert, voice command, but doesn’t support native text to speech, use English for caller name announce;
• (New) Korean: voice alert, voice command, but doesn’t have native text to speech, use English for caller name announce;
• Cantonese: voice prompts/alerts only. The headset uses English for voice commands and caller name announce.;  

Customers can now apply Legend FW updates on a Mac too.

New firmware for Plantronics Voyager Legend – Supports more languages and improved performance

• Improved wind noise cancellation:  The wind noise performance is been vastly improved. Legend with new FW can tolerate up to 18mph wind gusts. Voyager Pro and first-Gen Legend tolerated only 10mph wind gusts.
• More headset languages available on Myheadset update:  the language of the voice functions varies under different language setup, below is the details.

• No special instructions are needed, any user on a Mac that goes to MyHeadset Updater will be directed automatically to the Mac client;
• The Mac client updates the FW and allows language selection only; it does not support additional settings that are available via PC;

• Improved wideband audio performance
• Improved sidetone latency

• Rejecting incoming call by removing headset feature is no longer supported
• Improved audio quality for both narrowband and wideband calls
• Corrected erroneous Spanish and Korean voice prompts
• Improved accuracy of "Talk Time Remaining" voice prompts
• Firmware updates via MyHeadset Updater now available for Mac users
• 4x-improved wind noise reduction
• Added option to enable/disable wideband audio during update
• "Call Vocalyst" voice command has been removed.
• "Call Information" voice command has been removed
• "Redial" voice command has been changed to "Call Back" (Initiates a call back to the last number you dialed or received a call from)
• "Cancelled" has been replaced by "No Number Available" when no number has been stored in the headset since its last connection to the phone.
• "Call back [name]" has been replaced by "Calling back [name]"
• Improved Multipoint capability: If connected to two audio devices concurrently, headset will give an alert for an incoming call on the second connected audio device while in an active call using the first device.
• "Mute on" voice prompt will sound for the first 15 minutes headset is on mute, afterwards the headset will give the mute tone to indicate mute state (rather than giving the mute tone immediately).
• Increased link reliability
• Lowered instances of headset link loss in iPhones, Samsung Galaxy Nexus, HTC One X+, Windows Phone 8
• Audio link no longer stays open after an Avaya call is terminated while using the Legend with the BT300 adapter.
• It is now possible to answer an iPhone call by pressing the call control button before the ring is heard in the headset

Updating voyager legend firmware..

Keep your firmware and software up to date to improve performance and add new features to your Poly device.

• To update your headset, dock your headset in the charge stand and plug it directly into your computer.

Open the Plantronics Hub App on your computer and select your device name and then select Notifications then the update button, if available.

• Don’t use your Poly device until the update is complete.
• Disconnect your Poly device from paired devices such as phones, tablets and computers.
• Don’t start a second update from a second device.
• Don’t stream media.
• Don’t answer or place a call.

BT300 Firmware Release Notes

• Resolves the issue of the BT300 freezing and being unable to come out of standby mode when the computer becomes inactive. Previously, this could only be resolved by either unplugging and re-inserting the BT300, or by rebooting the computer.
• Resolves the issue of the BT300 coming out of standby mode but having no call control until unplugged and plugged back in or the user reboots their computer.
