Travel Specialist at Sun Day Travel, LLC

Role Overview:

The Travel Specialist role at Sun Day Travel, LLC is expected to be highly motivated and to deliver exceptional travel service experiences to our clients. The candidate will speak with the client regarding their travel request and create, and promote their travel quote. They will book the trip for the client, and monitor the trip- informing the client of any changes.

The role will form part of a highly skilled team of Travel Specialists located virtually (100% remote - work from home) and will report to a Team Mentor.

Key Responsibilities:

Variable shift opportunities for days, nights and weekends.
Act as Travel Specialist and Consultant to a single client or multiple Corporate Business accounts with the willingness to meet client needs
Act as the point of sale on all Domestic & International travel requirements, arranging both routine and complex travel for Flight, rental car, theme parks, travel packages, cruises, shuttles, hotels, all-inclusive resorts, sporting events, theater tickets, and more.
Provide solutions and recommendations to clients.
Staying in compliance with all legal standard requirements.
Manage bookings and stay in contact with clients.
Excellent Customer Service techniques; maintain excellent client relations

Additional Responsibilities:

Reliable phone, computer, and internet
Legally able to work within the United States

Key Qualifications and Attributes:

Knowledge and/or experience of travel
Experience working in a service environment where performance is measured
Willingness to learn
Experience working individually and as part of a team
Passion for Excellent Customer Service
Proficient Professional Communication – both written and verbal
Honest - ability to act with integrity, process secure payments, and securely store personal and confidential client information
Ability to research and resolve traveler issues independently or with vendors
Positive mindset
