JBL Tour Pro+ TWS True Wireless Headphones Review

The JBL Tour Pro+ TWS True Wireless are in-ears designed for business professionals. They have an active noise cancelling (ANC) system that offers good overall performance, especially if you're trying to block out chatting coworkers. They also have a neutral sound profile, and while they lack a bit of low-bass, you can customize them to your liking using their companion app's parametric EQ and presets. On the downside, their roughly four hours of continuous playback time is fairly short, and their integrated mic offers a sub-par recording quality.
Our Verdict
The JBL Tour Pro Plus are good for neutral sound. They have a very neutral sound, although they lack a bit of low-bass. A dip in the mid-mid also pushes vocals and lead instruments to the back of the mix. However, they have a less-than-immersive passive soundstage due to their closed-back, in-ear design.
- Comfortable and well-built design.
- Parametric EQ and presets available.
- Bad passive soundstage.
The JBL Tour Pro Plus are good for commute and travel. Thanks to their ANC, they can block out a fair amount of noise like the low rumble of bus or plane engines. They also have a comfortable, well-built design, and their small size makes it easy to put them in most pockets or bags. However, their roughly four hours of continuous playback time may not be enough for long trips.
- ANC with good noise isolation performance.
- 4.2-hour continuous battery life.
The JBL Tour Pro Plus are great for sports and fitness. They have a comfortable, breathable fit, and thanks to their stability fins, they should stay in your ear during moderate physical exercise. They also have an IPX5 rating for water resistance, but we don't currently test for that.
- Stable fit.
The JBL Tour Pro Plus are decent for office use. They have a comfortable, breathable fit, and their ANC can block out office chatter around you. However, their continuous playback time of just over four hours may not be enough to get you through your shift without pausing to recharge them.
The JBL Tour Pro Plus aren't recommended for wireless gaming. While you can connect them to a Bluetooth-enabled PC, the latency is likely to be too high for gaming. They also aren't compatible with PlayStation or Xbox consoles.
The JBL Tour Pro Plus are Bluetooth-only headphones that can't be used on a wired connection.
The JBL Tour Pro TWS are fair for phone calls. Their integrated mic does a sub-par job of recording your voice, so you sound unnatural. The mic also struggles to separate your voice from moderate background noise, which may be a problem if you're taking a call from a busy street. Luckily, their ANC cuts down a good amount of noise so that you can focus on your call.
- Sub-par recording quality.
- Mic struggles to separate your voice from ambient noise.
- 7.5 Neutral Sound
- 7.8 Commute/Travel
- 8.2 Sports/Fitness
- 5.9 Wireless Gaming
- 5.8 Wired Gaming
- 6.5 Phone Calls

Compared To Other Headphones
The JBL Tour Pro Plus are in-ears designed for business professionals. They're similar in overall performance to the JBL CLUB PRO+ TWS True Wireless but now come with five differently-sized ear tips and stability fins. They can block out a good amount of ambient noise around you, although their passive capabilities outweigh their ANC system beyond the bass range. On the downside, their continuous battery life of just over four hours is short and probably won't get you through a long day at work without recharging them again.

The JBL CLUB PRO+ TWS True Wireless and the JBL Tour Pro+ TWS True Wireless are similarly performing headphones. Both headphones are comfortable, well-built, and their ANC systems both offer comparable performances. However, the CLUB PRO+'s microphone offers a better recording quality and a better overall battery performance.
The Apple AirPods Pro Truly Wireless are better in-ears for most uses than the JBL Tour Pro+ TWS True Wireless. While both headphones are comfortable and well-built, the Apple's ANC can block out significantly more ambient noise around you, and they have longer total battery life. Their H1 chip also allows you to seamlessly pair them with your Apple devices. The JBL have a more customizable sound, thanks to their companion app's parametric EQ and presets.
The JBL Tour Pro+ TWS True Wireless are better overall headphones than the JBL Tour One Wireless . The Tour Pro+ are in-ears that are better built, have more consistent audio delivery, and have a more neutral sound profile, which some users may prefer. Their ANC also does a significantly better job of blocking out background noise. However, the Tour One support multi-device pairing and longer continuous battery life.
The Bose QuietComfort Earbuds Truly Wireless are slightly better headphones than the JBL Tour Pro+ TWS True Wireless. While both headphones are well-built, the Bose's ANC system does a significantly better job blocking out background noise, and they have longer continuous battery life. Some users also may prefer their sound profile's touch of extra bass. However, the JBL are more comfortable.
The JBL Tour Pro+ TWS True Wireless are slightly better headphones than the Samsung Galaxy Buds Pro Truly Wireless . While both headphones are comfortable, the JBL are better-built, have a more neutral default sound profile, which some users may prefer, and their ANC can block out a bit more background noise. They also have a better battery performance, and you can customize their sound profile using their companion app's parametric EQ and presets. However, the Samsung's integrated mic has a better recording quality.
The EarFun Air Pro True Wireless are slightly better in-ears than the JBL Tour Pro+ TWS True Wireless. While both headphones are comfortable, the EarFun have a somewhat v-shaped sound profile that some users may prefer, and their ANC can block out a lot more ambient noise around. They also have significantly better battery performance. However, the JBL are better built, and you can adjust their sound to your liking using their companion app's parametric EQ and presets.
The JBL Tour Pro+ TWS True Wireless are better headphones than the Beats Solo Pro Wireless . The JBL are more comfortable, have a more neutral default sound profile, which some users may prefer, and their companion app offers a parametric EQ and presets to help you adjust their sound to your liking. However, the Beats have a better noise isolation performance and a longer continuous battery life. They also have an H1 chip that allows you to seamlessly pair them with Apple devices.
Test Results

The JBL Tour Pro Plus have a plain and non-descript look. They're round with a silver brand logo on each earbud. There's also the word 'Tour' on the side of the bud. They only come in black.

The JBL Tour Pro TWS are comfortable. Like the JBL CLUB PRO+ TWS True Wireless , they don't put pressure on your ear. They also come with five sets of ear tips to help you get the best fit. However, the buds are bulky and stick out.

The JBL Tour Pro Plus have fair controls. To connect them via Bluetooth, you can touch either bud once and hold. There's an audible tone when pairing. With the right bud, you can tap once to play or pause audio, tap twice to skip the track forward, and tap three times to skip to the previous track. The left earbud allows you to turn ANC on, off, or access ambient mode, and there's an audible tone when switching between modes. A double-tap activates talkthough. You can also tap twice to answer or reject a call, hold to mute and unmute your microphone, or hold either bud to activate voice assistant. There's even a Silent Now feature you can access by holding both buds for five seconds that keeps the ANC on but turns off Bluetooth and music.
If you prefer, you can customize the controls using their companion app. However, you lose access to some controls if you're only using one earbud. Ambient Sound controls can also only be adjusted while you're wearing them. There's no audible feedback when you double or triple press either.

The JBL Tour Pro Plus have outstanding breathability. Thanks to their in-ear design, they don't really cover your outer ear. You shouldn't notice a temperature difference when you're wearing them, and you shouldn't sweat more than normal.

These headphones are incredibly portable. Like most truly wireless headphones, they have a small and lightweight design that should easily fit in most pockets or bags. Their carrying case is also fairly small.

The carrying case is good. It's plastic, and there's a magnet to hold the buds in place. There's an LED light near the charging port that lets you know its charging status and two LED lights inside the case for each bud. These two lights turn off a few seconds after opening the case.

Update 08/10/2021: Following reader feedback, information regarding the headphone's IP rating has been added. The score hasn't been changed, but the text has been updated.
The JBL Tour Pro Plus have a great build quality. They're mostly made of plastic but feel sturdy and solid. They come with stability fins and five different pairs of ear tips, but the ear tips seem potentially weaker than other parts of their design. The buds themselves are rated IPX5 for water resistance, but we don't currently test for that.

The JBL Tour Pro Plus have a stable fit. They come with a variety of differently-sized ear tips and have stability fins to stay put in your ears while you're moving.

- JBL Tour Pro Plus headphones
- 5x ear tips
- Stability fins
- Charging case
- USB-A to USB-C charging cable

The JBL Tour Pro Plus have a very neutral sound profile, making them suitable for lots of audio content. That said, if you want to customize their sound, their companion app offers a parametric EQ and presets.

These headphones have outstanding frequency response consistency. Like most in-ears, once you achieve an airtight seal, they should deliver audio very consistently each time you use them.

The JBL Tour Pro Plus have outstanding bass accuracy. They're a little underemphasized in the low-bass range, so your mixes lack a touch of thump and rumble. That said, the rest of the range is very flat and neutral, resulting in a warm bass.

The JBL Tour Pro Plus have great mid accuracy. There's some underemphasis in the low to mid-mid, so vocals and lead instruments are thinned out a bit and pushed to the back of the mix. The high-mid is very neutral, though, which helps their clarity and intensity.

These headphones have excellent treble accuracy. It's very slightly underemphasized, but it shouldn't be too noticeable. Vocals and lead instruments are present but lacking a touch of detail, while sibilants like cymbals are slightly dulled.

The JBL Tour Pro Plus have great peaks and dips performance. The slight peak in the low to mid-bass adds extra thump and rumble to your mixes, while a dip in the mid-mid pushes vocals and lead instruments to the back of the mix. Another peak in the high-mid can harshen vocals and lead instruments a bit. The uneven mid-treble can make sibilants like S and T sounds alternatingly dull and piercing.

The JBL Tour Pro Plus have fantastic imaging. Their weighted group delay falls below the audibility threshold, resulting in tight bass and transparent treble. The L/R drivers of our unit are also well-matched in phase, amplitude, and frequency. It's important for accurately placing and localizing objects like footsteps and instruments in the stereo image. However, these results are only valid for our unit, so your results may vary.
The JBL Tour Pro Plus have a terrible passive soundstage. To create a speaker-like soundstage, the outer ear has to be activated with sound. However, since they have an in-ear design, they bypass the outer ear altogether, resulting in sound being perceived as if it's coming from inside your head. Their closed-back design also means that their soundstage doesn't seem as spacious as headphones with an open-back enclosure.

The weighted harmonic distortion performance is great. The entire frequency range falls within good limits, which results in clean and pure audio reproduction.
These are the settings used to test the JBL Tour Pro Plus, and our results are only valid in this configuration.

The JBL Tour Pro Plus have good noise isolation. They have an active noise cancelling (ANC) system that does a fair job of cutting down the low rumbles of bus or plane engines. However, their passive noise isolation capabilities are slightly better than their ANC when it comes to the mid to treble range. That said, they can still block out office chatter and the high-pitched hum of an AC unit.

The JBL Tour Pro Plus' leakage performance is excellent. Leakage is mostly concentrated in the treble range, which sounds thin. However, if you like to listen to your audio at high volumes, people around you shouldn't be able to hear it.

The integrated mic has a sub-par recording quality. Your voice sounds full but muffled and unnatural.

The microphone has okay noise handling. It struggles to separate your voice from moderate background noise, so you may have some trouble being understood if you're calling from a busy street.
The JBL Tour Pro have an okay battery performance. Although they're advertised to have roughly six hours of continuous battery life, we measured just over four. However, battery performance can vary depending on usage, so your real-life experience may vary. They have roughly three additional charges in their carrying case and have an auto-off timer to help conserve battery life while not in use. You can also use one bud while the other one charges.

The JBL Headphones app is great. It has a parametric EQ and presets so that you can customize their sound to your liking. You can also remap the button layout to set volume controls or to adjust the layout of other controls. You can also set the auto-off timer or turn it off if you prefer, as well as turn on or off auto-play/pause when they're in your ear. The app also has an ear tip fit test to help you get the best possible fit.
The JBL Tour Pro Plus have fair Bluetooth connectivity. Unfortunately, they don't support multi-device or NFC pairing. Their latency is also high on PC, iOS, and Android, which could be disappointing if you like to stream video. However, some apps compensate for latency, so your real-life experience may vary.

These truly wireless headphones can't be used with a wired connection. They come with a USB-A to USB-C cable to charge their carrying case.
These truly wireless headphones can only connect to Bluetooth-enabled PCs.
These headphones come with a portable carrying case that charges via USB-C.

JBL continues its onslaught of new audio releases, bringing to market its latest flagship wireless earbuds: the Tour Pro Plus. Originally debuting at CES 2021 , this in-ear version of the Tour One headphones comes with signature JBL bass-forward sound, adaptive noise cancellation, sufficient battery life and a plethora of features that are accessible through the companion app.
The Tour Pro Plus boasts one of the more dynamic spec sheets in its category, combining smart listening modes with advanced proprietary technologies for intelligible performance. Sadly, it also drops the ball in areas where other JBL models have excelled, making this model a questionable purchase for those seeking an elite AirPods Pro alternative for less. Read our full JBL Tour Pro Plus review to see whether these drawbacks are dealbreakers.

JBL Tour Pro Plus review: Price and availability
- Multiple retailer options, though only one color
You can buy the JBL Tour Pro Plus for $199 at major online retailers like Amazon and Best Buy or directly from JBL . It is sold in one color: Black.
This pair of buds shares the same MSRP as other popular wireless ANC earbuds, including the Samsung Galaxy Buds Pro and the JBL Club Pro Plus . It's also priced higher than the newer Beats Studio Buds ($149), but lower than the AirPods Pro ($249) and Sony WF-1000XM4 ($279).

JBL Tour Pro Plus review: Design and comfort
- Well-styled buds and case
- However, buds get uncomfortable quickly
JBL’s design pedigree for its premium wireless earbuds is understated, yet classy. The Tour Pro Plus features an all-black color scheme, oval shape and nicely minimalist detailing. Build quality is superb, thanks to a durable shell that resists scratches well, as well as IPX4-rated sweat resistance.
The charging case is really no different than the Club Pro Plus’ case. Size-wise, it’s bulkier and larger than the cases of its Apple and Sony rivals, but is still light enough to carry around and has a sturdier exterior. Furthermore, the magnet for the flip-top lid is strong to keep the buds secure when charging on the go. Small details like the flush pairing button at the bottom and the tiny LED below each charging port are nice touches.
You may think that due to the buds’ bulging form that they would make for an uncomfortable wear, and, well, there’s some truth to that. Those who can tolerate the buds pressing up on the concha won’t mind sporting them for 2 to 3 hours before giving their ears a breather. Others, like myself, couldn’t endure the soreness that was inflicted after an hour of use.
I was concerned about the buds falling out because of their weight and how much they stick out. However, they provided an honest fit. The sound port inserts easily into the ears, while the tips create a tight seal around the canal and the stabilizers mold to the cymba for proper stabilization. JBL also developed its own ear tip fit test (Check My Best Fit) that works well to achieve optimal fit.
JBL Tour Pro Plus review: Touch controls and digital assistant
- Touch controls extensive and dependable
- Impressive digital assistant implementation
JBL always programs its headphones and earbuds with a wide variety of controls, and the Tour Pro Plus is no different. Users receive a full suite of media controls, including playback, call management, volume, digital assistance, and listening mode activation.
All of these can be assigned in the JBL Headphones app and employed through single, double, and triple taps or the long-hold gesture. The touch panels are highly responsive for seamless operation. On-ear detection is just as reliable, automatically pausing music when removing the buds from your ears and resuming playback when placed back on.
Adding to their smart capabilities is Google Assistant and Alexa voice activation, giving you hands-free functionality when speaking their respective wake-work commands: “Hey Google” or “Alexa.” The feature doesn’t skip a beat and JBL’s mics are highly intelligible, registering verbal commands with precision and responding to them quickly. You can enable the digital assistant manually when wake-word access doesn’t oblige, which is rare. Siri also works with the buds on iOS/Mac OS devices, but not the “Hey Siri” function.
JBL Tour Pro Plus review: Active noise cancellation
- Not great, not poor
- Decent wind resistance
The Tour Pro Plus isn’t a model you’ll find on our best noise-cancelling earbuds list . Noise neutralization is average at best, which is disappointing since the Club Pro Plus offered better ANC. These buds are designed to deal with low-frequency sounds, so you’ll be able to avoid noises like engine rumble or vibration echoes from electronic devices like smartphones or massage guns . Common household distractions such as doorbells, loud televisions, and specific kitchen appliances will be silenced too.
I emphasize "specific" because while the ANC circuitry on these buds can cancel out something simple like the humming from a refrigerator, it won’t tame the grinding effects of a blender.
High-frequency noise is another area where the Tour Pro Plus struggles. An early morning walk had bird chirps, car horns, and crying babies break through and invade the soundscape. Wind resistance, meanwhile, was OK. The whisking effect created by gusty winds was noticeable, but not so much when speeding cars passed by.
JBL also included the Silent Now function, which keeps ANC engaged while disabling Bluetooth and audio functions. Essentially, it was developed to give you some quiet time and preserve battery life simultaneously. I get the idea, but since the noise reduction technology isn’t all that effective anyway, you’re not going to block out much without playing some music.
Ambient Aware was a bright spot on the Tour Pro Plus that increased my environmental awareness. I picked up on people’s conversations from several feet away, as well as any fracas coming from across the street, which was helpful during night walks. TalkThru was even more useful, dropping volume down to 10% to hear people clearly; this was my go-to every time the missus inquired about small babysitting tasks during work hours.
JBL Tour Pro Plus review: Sound quality
- Immense bass presence for a pair of earbuds
- Lacking in detail, however
These buds are calibrated for contemporary, bass-forward music. The neutral sound profile you get right out of the box unleashes deep, boomy lows. Listening with ANC on slightly increases the bass levels. Mids can be middling at times and highs aren’t emphasized much. However, you can enhance audio by turning on the EQ in the app and sticking with the default EQ (Club Pro+), which gives music an even warmer presence.
The snares on A Tribe Called Quest’s “Check the Rhime” knocked hard, but it’s the pounding bass drum rumble that shakes your skull with energetic vibrations. This is one head-nodding session all the way through. Unfortunately, the vocals take a hit and lack crispness, with the rappers sounding fuzzy at certain points.
Orchestral recordings like Ahmad Jamal’s “Stolen Memories” are where the buds lose their sonic focus. Instrumental separation isn’t a smooth as it is on the Club Pro Plus or WF-1000XM4; the double bass produces overly aggressive reverberation that results in some distortion. Hi-hats are pronounced, which shows that the Tour Pro Plus can give highs some attention, but they end up taking a backseat as the low-end dominates the entire recording.
Despite some mishaps on the music end, the Tour Pro Plus is a solid performer when it comes to video content. YouTube clips were loud and clear, which was perfect for ESPN commentary clips, movie trailers, and podcasts. Action movies were also engrossing to watch with explosions and weapon fire sounding distinctive for a lively listening experience.
JBL Tour Pro Plus review: App and special features
- Customizable EQ
- Lots of other bonus features
The JBL Headphones app is where all extended functionality lives, and there's a lot to explore. I previously touched on some of the more notable features, including ANC, Ambient Sound (Ambient Aware, TalkThru), Silent Now, the ear tip fit test, and voice activation. What else is left?
Let’s go back to the EQ. What I didn’t mention was that it can be personalized to create your own sound profiles by manually adjusting the frequency levels. If tailoring sound to your hearing seems like too much of an ambitious task, there are four presets to select from: Bass, Jazz, Vocal, and the aforementioned Club Pro+ TWS EQ. Each one is well engineered, but the Club Pro+ gets you the best sound on these buds.
Smart Audio & Video is a newer feature that has shown up on current JBL releases and lets you prioritize performance by connectivity or sound. Normal keeps connection stable in busy areas, Audio is optimized for sound, and Video is set for synching audio and video accurately. The first two work as advertised, though I’m not entirely sold on Video mode this time around; any improvements were more noticeable on the Club Pro Plus. Most video clips looked and ran the same whether in Audio or Video mode.
You can set a timer for music to play before entering Silent Now with My Alarm. There is also an Auto-on function to place the buds in sleep mode when inactive for a certain amount of time. Another key feature is Find My Buds for helping locate misplaced buds. Rounding out the app are battery level indicators for the earbuds and charging case, multi-language voice prompts, toggle controls, and firmware updates.
JBL Tour Pro Plus review: Battery life and charging case
- Pretty average uptime with ANC
- Supports wireless charging
Battery life is rated at 6 hours with ANC on, 8 hours with ANC off. Take volume, streaming, and other special features into account and playtimes drop by about 30 minutes to 1 hour, which is still great for several days of moderate use. This is also longer than the AirPods Pro (4.5 hours), but also shorter than luxury models like the Master & Dynamic MW08 (10 hours).
The charging case holds between 24 to 32 hours, depending on how you use the buds. Again, more portable power than the AirPods Pro charging case (24 hours). You can either charge the case via USB-C or wirelessly by placing it on a Qi-enabled wireless pad. Speed charging is available to expedite the charging process; 10 minutes in the case generates 1 hour of use.
JBL Tour Pro Plus review: Call quality and connectivity
- Unreliable mic quality in calls
- General Bluetooth performance much better
If you’re thinking about using the Tour Pro Plus as a calling headset, set your expectations low. Several friends mentioned that the clarity wasn’t good on my end. My wife also mentioned that there was too much muffling; she compared the quality to using the phone with my hand covering the mic. One client even mentioned that my voice was cutting in and out during video calls. Outside was worse, with wind creating a crackling noise that made it tough to communicate.
Bluetooth 5.0 is what the Tour Pro Plus operates on, which is odd considering the older Club Pro Plus runs on Bluetooth 5.1. Nonetheless, you get some strong range (roughly 43 feet) out of these buds. Connectivity is on point with buds instantly pairing to devices. Google Fast Pair also expedites the process for Android phones.
Dual Connect + Sync comes part of the package. The name kind of makes you think that this the company’s version of multipoint technology, but this feature does not allow for the buds to be paired to two devices simultaneously. Instead, it acts as a faster solution for switching the connection from one device to another recognized device.
JBL Tour Pro Plus review: Verdict
For a flagship model, the JBL Tour Pro Plus doesn’t live up to the standards that come with the status; the older Club Pro Plus proves to be the better performer.
That’s not to say you won’t get any value out of these wireless earbuds. JBL’s monstrous bass is loud and impactful, and there's plenty of cool features to enjoy audio across different media formats.
But is the Tour Pro Plus worth $199? Not when compared to the competition. Headphones like the Beats Studio Buds offer better sound and noise cancellation for a lower price, and the poor call quality and uncomfortable design are put-offs as well. Shave $50 off the MSRP and it might be a different story, but for now there are superior alternatives.

Looking for a set of noise-canceling true wireless earbuds that don’t look like small golf tees protruding from your ears? JBL’s $200 Tour Pro+ are your latest option. They’re slickly designed, compact, and they let you speak to Alexa or Google Assistant without needing to tap an earbud — a trick that even Apple’s AirPods can’t manage.

What’s in the box?
JBL’s soundbar team has definitely read the sustainable packaging memo — the new JBL Bar 5.0 Multibeam is a perfect example of how to make a box and its contents fully recyclable. But apparently, the earbuds team missed that email. The Tour Pro+ come in a heavily coated box with magnet closures and lots of hard-to-recycle foam and plastic.
Inside, you’ll find the earbuds, their charging case, a USB-C charging cord, five sizes of eartips, two sizes of wing tips, and several printed quick start guides.
JBL’s Tour lineup, which consists of the Tour Pro+ earbuds and the Tour One ANC headphones, possesses an understated yet sophisticated design. Satin-finish plastics, subtle logos, and just a few high-polish accents give the Tour Pro+ a very high-end vibe.
The earbuds use touch-sensitive surfaces, so there is very little to interrupt their clean lines. Size-wise, they’re similar to Jabra’s Elite 75t , sticking out from your ear just enough to make them easy to insert and remove. An IPX5 rating offers very good protection from sweat and water (just don’t immerse them).
Their charging case, which can be charged wirelessly or via the included USB-C cable, isn’t quite as compact as the AirPods Pro, but it’s still highly pocketable. The lid opens and closes smoothly and the hinge keeps the lid open until you’re ready to close it — something many cases can’t claim. The case can stand vertically if you’re careful, but it’s really meant to lie flat on its back, which lets it charge wirelessly while also exposing the charging status LED on the bottom, next to the USB-C port.
The Tour Pro+ snap in and out of their charging sockets with ease thanks to their slightly angled position, but take care when re-docking them: They can sometimes fail to align perfectly with their charging contacts. Each socket has its own LED indicator so it’s easy to tell if something’s not quite right.
I found that the default medium cone-style silicone ear tips were perfect for me. Once nestled in my ear, the Tour Pro+ were very comfortable and secure. Going for a jog or pavement or pounding away on a treadmill shouldn’t budge them at all.
The Tour Pro+ come with a tiny set of wing tips installed, though that term seems inappropriate. They’re really more like mini-fins. But regardless of what you call them, they didn’t do much for me in terms of extra stability. I think they’re designed to fit just under the antihelix — that fold of cartilage in the outer ear — but I guess my antihelixes are too big (weirdest brag ever). If they actively get in the way or they’re uncomfortable, you can swap them out with flat silicone bands.
Bass response is excellent without being overbearing, and there’s plenty of detail through the midrange.
Inside the JBL Headphones app, which you will definitely want to download to get the best from the Tour Pro+, there’s a fit test that helps you figure out if you’re using the best ear tips for your ears. It’s worth doing: A poor fit will compromise both the active noise cancellation (ANC) and sound quality.
Though I still prefer physical buttons, the Tour Pro+ has very responsive touch controls, which provide audible feedback tones when you tap them. I wish all touch controls did this — there’s nothing worse than not knowing if your tap was recognized or not.
Unfortunately, JBL has somewhat kneecapped these great touch controls by enforcing a very limited set of customizations. Instead of letting users assign one function per gesture per earbud, each earbud must be assigned a function “group.” The playback control group gives you play/pause and track skip forward/back. The volume control group lets you turn the volume up or down. Voice assistant lets you trigger your chosen assistant with a gesture (more on this later), and ambient sound control lets you switch from ANC modes and toggle TalkThru on and off.
The ambient sound control group might be the most confusing of them all. With a single tap, you can switch between ANC, ambient sound, and off (no ANC or ambient). But a double tap lets you turn TalkThru on and off. Since TalkThru and ambient mode are almost indistinguishable, I think JBL should have simplified this, making the single tap all you need to switch between ANC and ambient.
You can have any two of these groups active at once, which means choices must be made. If you want playback control (and who doesn’t?) that means you need to decide which of the other four matter most. Want to control ANC and volume? You can, but only if you give up playback control. These are not choices we should be forced to make.
Built-in wear sensors automatically pause music when you pop an earbud out and play when you put it back in. The feature works really well, pausing and playing quickly in response to changes, but oddly, it only worked on the left earbud. You can also disable this in the Headphones app.
Calling on the Tour Pro+ is very good. My voice was clear as a bell.
You can choose to use just one earbud at a time, but make sure you assign the controls you need to the earbud you’re using. Don’t worry about call answer/end — these functions work on both sides, regardless of which control group you choose.
Bluetooth connection quality is excellent. Indoors, I was able to put three stories between my iPhone 11 and the Tour Pro+ without dropping the signal, and that will likely translate into very good outdoor performance too.
Out of the box, and with the right size of ear tips installed, the Tour Pro+ have a very balanced sound signature. Bass response is excellent without being overbearing, and there’s plenty of detail through the midrange. Highs are a little muted, but still very enjoyable.
But the JBL Headphones app really allows you to dramatically alter how the Tour Pro+ behave, with several presets and one custom option. My favorite is the Club One EQ, which boosts bass and treble a lot and gives a smaller bump to the midranges. It really woke these earbuds up, increasing the energy and seemingly expanding the already fairly generous soundstage. Vocals received the biggest boost, with much better clarity.
The Tour Pro+ aren’t going to shake your teeth loose with their bass — if you want that, try the JBL Reflect Mini NC — but the low-end is warm, resonant, and more than punchy enough to let you enjoy bass-forward tracks like Billie Eilish’s Bad Guy or Hans Zimmer’s Time .
They’re better balanced than Jabra’s similarly-priced Elite Active 75t and even compare favorably to Sennheiser’s CX400 BT for overall sound quality.
JBL claims six hours of playback per charge for the Tour Pro+ earbuds and I found that to be almost exactly what I got when playing music at 50% volume. If you turn ANC off, you should get eight hours, but I didn’t test this. That handily beats Apple’s AirPods Pro (4.5 hours with ANC on).
The charging case holds three full recharges, giving you a total of 24 or 32 hours before needing to find a wireless (or wired) charging spot.
Whether in Ambient Aware or TalkThru modes, it was easy to listen to conversations and stay aware of traffic.
Speaking of wireless charging, I found the charging case was very picky about its location on my charging mat. If it wasn’t dead-center, it wouldn’t charge and even then, my charging mat occasionally lost its connection. That’s not something I’ve run into very often, so it’s possible it was just my particular review unit.
ANC on the Tour Pro+ is calibrated heavily in favor of low-frequency sounds. It works best for counteracting engine and tire sounds from traffic, or the vibrations of machinery that might work their way through walls.
I found that higher frequencies, like the sound of a bathroom fan, weren’t blocked out as effectively, and there’s no way to adjust the intensity of the ANC feature to increase the amount of noise it deals with.
JBL has packed so many features into the JBL Headphones app, I’d say it’s mandatory.
It’s what I’d call a general-purpose ANC. It takes the edge off, but doesn’t really go for that cone-of-silence effect. If that’s what you want, both the Jabra Elite Active 75t and the Sony WF-SP800N proved more capable of blocking a full range of frequencies.
I do like the fact that JBL includes what it calls a “silent now” mode: Hold the two touch surfaces for five seconds and the Tour Pro+ keep ANC engaged, but turn off Bluetooth so you can get some extra peace and quiet without killing your battery.
Transparency (or ambient mode) works really well. Whether in Ambient Aware or TalkThru modes, it was easy to listen to conversations and stay aware of traffic.
One of the coolest features on the Tour Pro+ is their ability to not only work with both Alexa and Google Assistant (there are several earbud models that already do this), but also give you wake-word access to them so you don’t have to continually reach for an earbud.
Just say, “Hey Google,” or “Alexa,” and your chosen assistant is at the ready, waiting for you to speak a command.
You have to choose which one you want as your active assistant in the Headphones app, but switching from one to the other only takes a few seconds.
I found both assistants responded effortlessly in a variety of situations.
There is one very unfortunate caveat: Wake-word access only works on Android devices at the moment.
If you want wake-word access on an iPhone, you’ll need Apple’s AirPods or the Amazon Echo Buds .
Whether on a busy street or in a quiet location, calling on the Tour Pro+ is very good. Some occasional very loud sounds would overpower my voice, but for the most part, it was clear as a bell and surprisingly full-sounding.
When indoors or in a quiet outdoor location, I suspect your callers won’t even know you’re using a set of earbuds for your calls.
Normally headphone apps don’t do a whole lot, but JBL has packed so many features into the JBL Headphones app, I’d say it’s mandatory for Tour Pro+ users. It enables:
- Find my earbuds
- Custom controls
- Eartip fit test
- Battery life indicators
- Voice assistant selection
- Audio mode selection
- My Alarm (which lets you set an amount of time for music to play before switching the earbuds to Silent Now mode for sleeping)
With the Tour Pro+, JBL delivers a well-priced, elegantly designed set of true wireless earbuds. They sound great, have very good battery life and call quality, and their wake-word access for voice assistants (on Android) is a rare and helpful feature.
Their mediocre ANC and awkward control options are drawbacks, but definitely not deal-breakers.
Is there a better alternative?
I’m hard-pressed to find a set of true wireless earbuds at the same price that goes toe-to-toe with the JBL Tour Pro+ in terms of features and quality, except for maybe JBL’s own Club Pro+. They’re the same price, and while they lack wake-word access to assistants, some folks will prefer their more bass-heavy sound signature.
For a more workout-friendly option, Sony’s $199 WF-SP800N have great battery life, great sound, and better ANC than the Tour Pro+. But they’re not as good for phone calls and lack wireless charging and wake-word assistant access. However, they’re compatible with both Alexa and Google Assistant.
JBL’s own $150 Reflect Mini NC are also solid contenders for fitness fanatics. Sound quality is once again more bass-heavy, but these earbuds share many of the same features as the Tour Pro+.
How long will they last?
JBL builds very good products and the Tour Pro+ are no exception. High-quality materials and excellent fit and finish abound. They come with a one-year warranty from JBL and I expect they’ll last for many years of use.
Should you buy them?
Yes. Despite their weird controls, the Tour Pro+ are a feature-rich set of great-sounding ANC earbuds.

Finding the best wireless earbuds for you can be tricky business. There are dozens of brands and models out there, and you've got specific needs. To get to the crux of the issue, you need to ask yourself a few things: First, you need to prioritize your primary uses for them — these could be listening to music, commuting, working out, long flights, video calling, or multitasking at work. This will help you determine whether you should put features like active noise canceling (ANC) and transparency mode above or below things like sound quality, battery life, comfort, and Bluetooth multipoint connectivity. Once you have a clear idea of what you want, you can then take into account your budget and slot in the pairs that fit the bill.
That's where this list of the best wireless earbuds comes in. We test a boatload of wireless earbuds. And the ones that really stand out from the crowd in terms of value, performance, and features are assembled right here.
As the Barenaked Ladies famously sang, it's been one week. One week since Digital Trends and the rest of the techno-review world published the first reviews of the Sony WF-1000XM5 wireless noise-canceling earbuds. Or at least, these were supposed to be the first reviews. As it turned out -- and at first unbeknownst to any of these publications -- Sony didn't send out full production versions of the XM5. Though they looked exactly like the earbuds that you can buy today, they were unfinalized prototypes. We were clear about that at the time, and we want to be as transparent about things now.
Once Sony confirmed we'd initially been given prototype units, we published a sort of placeholder review that was heavily caveated to explain the situation to readers. One week later, Sony sent out full production XM5 units, and we've since updated our review with our final thoughts using production units — the same as what you can buy today. (Spoiler: The production units solved all the problems we saw with the prototypes.)
Some of the most popular Apple deals for people are to do with AirPods. The earphones are incredibly simple to use and a must-have for anyone already part of the Apple ecosystem. Must have they may be but that doesn't mean you have to pay full price for them. That's why we've picked out all the best AirPods deals currently available so you can save whether you're looking to buy the cheapest AirPods or the high-end AirPods Max. Let's take a look at what's out there and answer any other questions you may have. Today's best AirPods deals Depending on if you prefer AirPods that can be charged entirely wirelessly or if you don't mind needing a Lightning cable, you have plenty of options. The standard Apple AirPods (2nd gen) are highly affordable but if you can, stretch to the Apple AirPods Pro (2nd gen) with wireless charging and fantastic active noise cancellation to block out the surrounding world while you exercise. For staying at home and watching movies, you can't go wrong with the Apple AirPods Max either.
Do AirPods come with free Apple Music? Yes, AirPods come with free Apple Music so you instantly have an extensive library of music at your disposal. All you need to do is make sure that your iPhone or iPad is running the latest version of iOS or iPadOS. From there, pair the AirPods to the device, then open the Apple Music app. Once you open it and sign in with your Apple ID, you simply need to tap 'Get 6 months free' to start your six months of Apple Music without having to pay a cent. The deal is eligible with all AirPods listed above, as well as many Beats and the HomePod range too. Can you try AirPods before you buy them? If you head to an Apple store, you can try AirPods on before buying them, checking they're the right shape and size for you. However, if you're buying online, you're mostly committed to the purchase. You could try Amazon's return policy but it's likely you'll pay some of the cost even if it's just shipping expenses.

Jbl tour pro 2 review: smart earbuds, smart case.
No gimmicks here, the case should be a template for premium buds going forward
It’s refreshing to see a company experimenting with something different in the sea of wireless earbud homogeneity. JBL’s Tour Pro 2 breaks new ground for premium earbuds by pairing them with a touchscreen-equipped charging case. While they’re not cheap and have some bugs and half-baked aspects, JBL did a great job on its first time out.
JBL Tour Pro 2
JBL’s Tour Pro 2 earbuds come with the first case equipped with a built-in touchscreen, which offers access to player controls and settings without reaching for a smartphone. The buds are also excellent, thanks to top-notch ANC, long battery life, great audio, and many useful features. There’s so much packed into these buds that it’s easy to see why they carry one of the higher price tags.
- Highly functional touchscreen case
- Exceptional active noise canceling
- Great audio quality
- Lots of useful features
- Expensive compared to comparable earbuds
- Earbuds are a little hard to seat in the case
- Multipoint connectivity is not fully baked
- Audio codecs are somewhat limiting
- No low-latency mode
Price and availability
There are only two colors, Black and Champagne, and no configuration or packaging variations. You can get the earbuds and case for $249.95, available through JBL’s website and authorized retailers.
Hardware and design
The earbuds are average in size and shape, and the design looks premium with a mix of glossy and matte finishes. The JBL logo is printed on each bud but fairly subtle. I was happy with the fit and comfort. It takes about an hour before fatigue sets in, slightly longer than usual for my ears. The buds do work themselves slightly loose after a while, but haven’t fallen out of my ears, even with heavy activity.
Popping buds from the case with just a thumb is precarious because they tend to fly out, but they can be lifted out with a two-finger pinch. Returning them to the case is a bigger challenge because the stems must slide into narrow slots, but there’s very little groove to guide them in. It takes some focus each time. Oh, and the magnet holding the buds in place is strong enough that it takes a very hard shake to knock them loose.
The highlight of the Tour Pro 2 is a touchscreen covering half of the case, which, combined with an above-average battery, means the case is a bit chunkier than usual. However, it’s still fairly normal in size and shape, and the edges are gently rounded, so it still easily slides into most pockets. And let me allay some fears now; there’s a small lip just above the display that lifts it enough to avoid direct contact with flat surfaces. That should cut down on scuffs and scratches.
The touchscreen experience reminds me of a Fitbit, but with more functionality. There are about a dozen screens to swipe through with different controls or settings, and they all look pretty modern. It’s usually very responsive, though some settings are a little laggy.
Controls range from the obvious playback and volume buttons to more advanced settings for things like switching ANC and EQ profiles. In fact, most of the settings available in the app can be toggled or modified from the case. There’s even a tiny picker for the lockscreen wallpaper. While the app is necessary for setting up the buds, installing firmware, and creating EQ curves, everything you’ll need for day-to-day use can be done through the touchscreen.
There are a few extra functions available, including a Find My feature for sounding a loud tone through either bud or SilentNow for disconnecting Bluetooth while running ANC for a notification-free time period. There’s even a Flashlight mode that turns the screen white. It’s too dim to fill a room, but bright enough to spot nearby obstacles. It has come in handy more times than I expected.
I’m sure many people will see the case as a gimmick, and I can’t blame them. It’s certainly not a necessity, and I’m not sure most people will get enough from it to justify the premium price tag. However, I appreciate that it’s a purpose-built set of controls, and they’re generally a little more convenient than reaching for the phone and opening an app just to change sound profiles.
While my impressions are generally positive, there are plenty of ways to fine-tune the experience. At a minimum, I’d like to remove any screen from the carousel, and the lockscreen should also show some information like the clock and battery levels.
Audio and ANC
Audio quality is technically very good with a wide dynamic range, but it might not deliver the experience most people have become accustomed to. Out of the box, JBL tuned these to produce a fairly flat studio sound, which leans very neutral. If you’ve been listening to bass-heavy cans from companies like Beats, or budget earbuds tuned the same way to cover up weak mids, the Tour Pro 2 buds may leave your ears confused.
This is where JBL’s Personi-Fi feature comes in, and it’s crucial to adding back a lot of the vibrance. The app performs a series of hearing tests to build a custom sound profile for the listener. I’m not convinced the test is more than technological theater, but it unlocks an enriched sound profile that targets the Harman curve.
There is also an impressively flexible equalizer worth spending some time to tune. It includes five presets, most of which are nearly useless. Custom curves can also be created, and trust me, you’ll be happier creating some of your own.
Low-end frequencies come through with excellent clarity, making every beat and drum hit feel tight. There’s no muddiness or distortion, and bass notes stand out nicely, just not with a ton of strength. Even a bass-heavy EQ curve produces barely any tangible rumble or shake, which may be a deal-breaker for bass lovers.
The mids are something of a wild card. Before activating Personi-Fi, they sound a little loose and underpowered. It’s not bad, but vocals and some instruments feel muted and lacking emphasis. With Personi-Fi active, the mids gain more depth and character. Combined with a well-tuned EQ curve, the sound is pretty remarkable. The lower-mids can get muddy and conflict with the bass tones, but a carefully tuned EQ curve can keep this in check and bring out a ton of great flavor.
Likewise, highs have plenty of interesting character and range. They’re a little restrained at the top, which limits the shrill tones from excessive treble. Nevertheless, they stand on their own and still play nicely with the mids. All told, these might be the best earbuds I’ve ever listened to, but they’re finicky and require more work to perfect than I think most people will put into them, and I still feel like I’m not done.
The soundstage is fairly expressive to the sides and angles, but frontal projection is a bit lacking. I also don’t get a sense of spaciousness, and instruments sound like they’re just over my shoulder. Spatial Audio doesn’t add much to the depth, especially for music, though I wasn’t impressed with it on movies either. If anything, it sounds like a basic filter to add echo.
ANC performance is sometimes really good; other times, it’s exceptional. No other earbuds or headphones I’ve listened to have been so effective at eliminating ambient noise. They effectively mute my obnoxiously loud desk fan, including the sound of wind buffeting the buds. It even makes a fairly loud CostCo sound like a library. Nearby voices and other distinctive sounds cut through, just as I would want them to, but the din of casual conversation and machines drop to a faint whisper.
The algorithm can still be inconsistent, sometimes only turning down the noise rather than eliminating it. Even when it’s not as aggressive, the ANC still beats anything I’ve ever tried. I haven’t had the opportunity to use the latest earbuds from Sony or Bose, but JBL may be on track to take on the champions soon.
Codec support is a little disappointing, particularly for the price. There’s no support for any aptX variants or LDAC. As you would expect, SBC and AAC are supported, the latter of which will appease most listeners. LC3 is also purportedly supported and will someday be a great alternative to aptX, but it doesn’t seem to work on my Pixel 7 Pro, which doesn't support it. JBL also plans to add LC3+ in a future firmware update.
Call quality is comparable to most of the Bluetooth earbuds I’ve tried, but noise reduction can be overly aggressive and chop up speech in some instances.
Battery and charging
JBL rates earbud battery life at eight hours with ANC and ten hours without. While I never ran the buds down entirely, this seems to be fairly accurate.
The case is supposed to provide up to three full charges to the buds. That would probably be true if not for the touchscreen, which also sips power while it’s active. In my experience, it’s actually too thirsty, so it would only carry about two and a half chargs, at most. That’s still really good given the lifespanThat'sch bud. Wireless charging is also supported.
App and features
Google Fast Pair is supported for that first connection and works great. However, there’s no way to initiate pairing from the touchscreen or button, which makes it more difficult for devices without Fast Pair, like my laptop. The only way to enter pairing mode is by making sure the currently paired device is out of range or has Bluetooth turned off.
At least this effort reveals that multipoint support is present. JBL doesn’t advertise multipoint as a feature on the Pro 2, probably because it’s not quite fully baked. Core features are fine, like getting notifications from the phone while listening to my laptop or having one source take over for another. However, it can take several seconds for sources to switch, and the playback controls may stick to one source after switching to a different one. It can even switch sources after pausing, so tapping to resume seconds later may activate the other source. Hopefully, a firmware update can sort this out someday; it’s such a valuable feature.
The case takes a lot of control over the earbuds, but there are still things that can only be done from within the JBL Headphones app. For example, it’s necessary for the Personi-Fi setup, creating custom EQ curves, and configuring touch actions for each earbud — mostly setup steps.
Initial setup and Personi-Fi training take about 10-15 minutes. After that, there’s not much reason to open the app unless you install firmware updates and configure the EQ. This is thanks to the case, which can easily switch ANC and Spatial Audio modes, EQ profiles, and more.
It’s a modern-looking app with a clean design, and the few bugs I’ve spotted are mostly innocuous. My only complaint is that it takes a painfully long time, about six seconds after selecting the paired buds, to load their settings screen. That’s too long to watch a frozen screen with no animations to show it’s working.
Competition
At this time, the Poly Voyager 60+ is the only other pair of earbuds with a smart case, but the two products have little in common. The Voyager 60+ is aimed at enterprise customers, focusing on video calling and working at a desk. JBL designed the Tour Pro 2 to be prettier and more portable. Both products still boast great audio quality and ANC, and each has its individual advantages to justify the high asking price of $250 and $330 for the Tour Pro 2 and Voyager 60+, respectively.
If the case doesn’t warrant an extra $100, other upper-tier earbuds are available for around $150 that offer similar features and audio quality, like the OnePlus Buds Pro 2 . Alternatively, if the price isn’t an obstacle, but the case still doesn’t interest you, it may be worth spending a little more to pick up the Sony WF-1000XM5 earbuds.
Should you buy them?
JBL has done a remarkable job building the first smart case for true wireless earbuds. It’s a clever extension to the listening experience and offers handy features in a way that’s pleasant to use. There is still a lot to work out, but The Tour Pro 2 is an incredible template to build upon.
ANC is among the best in the game, and audio quality can be very good, although it might require more work than casual listeners want to put in. The same goes for multipoint support, which still needs some TLC. I’m mostly impressed with the Tour Pro 2 and would recommend them to anybody comfortable with the price who can deal with the quirks, but a part of me eagerly looks forward to JBL’s next attempt.

Nothing beats incredibly clear music and calls from 11mm dynamic drivers powered by JBL Signature Sound.

True Adaptive Noise Cancelling automatically adjusts to your surroundings, eliminating distractions for better sound wherever you are. Or use Smart Ambient when you need to focus on your environment, all without removing your earbuds.

40 (10+30) hours of playback with wireless charging
Never miss a moment with 40 hours of Qi-compatible battery life (including 10 hours in the earbuds + 30 hours in the case). Need a boost? Just 15 minutes of Speed Charge gives you another four hours of playtime—fast.

Six beamforming microphones reduce wind and noise interference so your words always come through loud and clear. And with VoiceAware, you can choose how much of your own voice to hear by controlling the amount of mic input routed back into your earbuds.

Better shape, better sound. That's why JBL designed these headphones with Oval TubesTM and oval silicon tips for a perfectly snug fit. The stick closed design with oval tubes ensure better noise cancellation and enhanced audio quality for those who prefer a cleaner aesthetic.

Phone call in the middle of your favorite show? No problem. With Multi-Point connection, you can quickly and easily switch your headphone input from one Bluetooth device to another. You'll also enjoy quick, effortless pairing with any Android device as you shift between mono and stereo and your left, right, or both earbuds.

Activate the JBL Live Pro 2's features with the ease of touch control. Or simply speak up to activate your Hey Google (*) or Alexa (**). (*) Only supported on Android (**) Android 6.0 or higher is required for full access to Alexa features when using this device.

Whether you're hitting the gym or caught in the rain, you won't have to worry. IPX5 certification means JBL Live Pro 2 headphones are water resistant.

The dedicated app lets you select listening modes, adjust ANC or smart ambient levels, customize controls, and maximize comfort and audio quality—so you can always listen your way. You can also optimize the EQ curve while Voice Prompts in your own language help you to navigate through the features.
Personalize How You Listen
Personalize the soundtrack of your life. Just download the free JBL Headphones app to customize EQ, switch on Adaptive Noise Cancelling, adjust your ANC level or ambient sound control settings, and check your best fit. True Score Methodology v1.0
JBL Tour Pro+ TWS Review

Expert Rankings

The JBL Tour Pro+ TWS has a well-balanced sound profile across all ranges with a comfortable fit and effective ANC for commutes and crowded spaces. But the in-ear design means a poor soundstage, and for the price, the battery life is low and latency high.

The 2021-model JBL Tour Pro+ TWS features adaptive noise cancellation and an in-ear truly wireless headset with 6.8 mm dynamic drivers. This headset has an integrated microphone for managing phone calls and video games.
Through its mobile app, users can change the sound settings with the parametric equalizer and presets. This model runs on Bluetooth 5.0 and is compatible with various computers and mobile devices.
Just like select devices among the best headphones , this system has stability fins that will appeal to sports enthusiasts.
It has a built-in battery with a hard-charging case for protection and charging. Although it lacks voice controls, this model has intuitive controls with settings for muting, ANC, talk-through, and voice assistant.
JBL has equipped it with five ear tips for comfort. Continue reading our JBL Tour Pro+ TWS for details below, and check out our best wireless earbuds to explore options.
What the brand doesn’t always tell you…
our Verdict

The JBL Tour Pro+ TWS are excellent for neutral sound, with incredible bass accuracy, clear mids, and bright treble, albeit lacking a bit of low-end thump and having a poor soundstage.
There’s Bluetooth connectivity but no multi-device pairing, and high latency across iOS (284ms), Android (273ms), and PC (312ms) means syncing issues while streaming content. Their 4.2-hour battery life is poor, with three additional charges in the case (16.8 hours total).
The earbuds are comfortable, and noise cancellation is great with ANC, which effectively removes the low rumble of heavy transport and blocks out ambient chatter.
Despite no volume adjustment, the controls are satisfactory with playback, voice assistant, and noise isolation control. The plastic case isn’t quite compact, but it’s sturdy, with lights to display the charging status.
Reasons to Buy
- Balanced sound profile
- Comfortable fit
- Effective ANC
- Satisfactory controls
- Sturdy case
Reasons to Avoid
- Poor soundstage
- High latency
- No multi-device pairing
- Low battery life
- Slightly bulky case

JBL Tour Pro 2 — sylwetka słuchawek nominowanych w plebiscycie Tech Awards 2023
Cisza, spokój i mocne brzmienie
JBL Tour Pro 2 to z jednej strony klasyczne, dokanałowe słuchawki typu TWS z silikonowymi nakładkami uszczelniającymi kanał słuchowy i w ten sposób skutecznie pasywnie tłumiące hałasy docierające podczas słuchania muzyki z otoczenia.
Jeśli zatem lubicie stopę o pełnym charakterze, albo mocno brzmiącą sekcję basową, to nominowane słuchawki firmy JBL z pewnością Was nie zawiodą.
Oto i ono. Etui słuchawek otrzymało własny, duży, czytelny wyświetlacz, na którym odczytamy nie tylko klasyczne dane statusowe słuchawek (naładowanie akumulatorów, itp), ale też zmienimy głośność, ustawienia korektora, zapanujemy nad trybem pracy techniki ANC, odtwarzaniem aktualnej playlisty, wyszukamy zagubioną słuchawkę, a nawet odczytamy przychodzące powiadomienia. Taka koncepcja pozwala więc do pewnego stopnia zapomnieć o wyjmowaniu smartfonu w czasie drogi.
Korzystając z zalet techniki ANC, możemy słuchać muzyki do 8 godzin (przy włączonym True Adaptive Noise Cancelling czas pracy wynosi do 6 godzin).
JBL Tour Pro 2 - kandydat do tytułu najlepsze słuchawki TWS 2023 roku

The B&W and JBL are equal but take some time to find the right silicone cups. The BOSE easily block out sound and the other 2 require finding the right fit to block ambient nose. One trick I found for the B&W and JBL is to lick the silicone pads, insert and rotate backwards for a good seal. Summary: Value for $$$, the JBL is the way to go.
