The Spiritualist tradition encourages each of us to become our own philosopher in life. We provide Philosophy and cake discussions, as well as Fireside chats to discuss the rich history of Spiritualism. There are also many opportunities to attend classes with our visiting overseas tutors on a wide variety of topics, please check the newsletter for dates and times. We invite you to join us on Sundays at services for our Minister’s address.

The Journey Within invites you to join our hiking group which meets monthly. Minister Thomas Regenauer has brought his Yoga classes to the church so please watch for dates for sessions including beginners. If you have any suggestions for other physical activities, please let us know.

The Journey Within has participated in hundreds of different charity events and fundraisers over our church’s lifetime. We are currently involved in: Heifer International – Wells for Africa– Maasai Girls Fund– Food Bank of Northern NJ– Homes for Heroes . We collect food and clothing here in the chapel for our local pantries. The Journey Within is looking for volunteers to join together in two new ventures. One is the expansion of volunteerism at CUMAC in Paterson, NJ. Our other out-reach will be a once a month trip into NYC to distribute food and care kits for those in need. We will as well continue our Toys for local families in need at Christmas.

A moscow court will hear an appeal on april 18 that could decide where he is held or grant him bail.

Mr. Gershkovich’s lawyers are challenging his detention on allegations of espionage, which the Journal vehemently denies. The Moscow City Court said it would hear the appeal April 18.

THE FOUNDER

I am Timi. Wife, mommy, yogini, and meditator.

I started the journey within about a couple of years ago with yoga, meditation, and books on self-knowledge. My goal was to find my real purpose in life and feel happier to be a balanced wife, mom, daughter, and woman for my family.

I am a rather introverted person, but I have always wanted to create and give something unique from the heart. Something meaningful and magical that can help other people to live a happier life or even find their purpose in life. That is the reason why Within, The Journey was born.

The things that inspire me the most are my son and the beauty of nature.

I love eating – especially Indian and other Asian cuisines, going for forest walks, hiking, traveling, and exploring different cultures all over the world. My favorite places on Earth are Bali and Japan.

I love challenging my body with yoga and my mind with meditation to facilitate inner growth.

I hope that you find my products as inspirational and motivational as I do. They are made with love and positive intentions.

The analysis of the taxonomy of the soils and soil-forming rocks of Moscow city was performed in view of the compatibility of the taxonomy proposed with the new classification system of the soils of Russia. The common platform, which determines the possibility to incorporate the taxonomy of urban soils into the new classification system, is the principle of the priority of the diagnostic horizons, which provides the properties-oriented conceptual background of the compared systems. It was shown that the considered classification developments do not have any fundamental differences either in ideology or in concrete manifestations. Some contradictions in place can be eliminated by respective discussions and agreements.

We were not created to heal alone. My purpose as a Spiritual Life Coach is to be a non-judgmental supporter of your individual journey. I'm here to help keep you on the path. My intention is to be a conduit for God's messages to you. Support can be accomplished as a weekly or bi-weekly 75 minute session. Your first session will be completely free. Sleeping Solutions

Using a guided mediation called Yoga Nidra, a customize recording is created that will reach the subconscious levels of the brain to induce restful sleep. You will have 3 sessions at the One Light office that last 75-minutes each and 1 personalized sleep recording to have forever.

YESTERDAY, TANAISTE Micheál Martin said the next general election will be “wide open”, stating that the three coalition parties right now could get enough votes to form the next government .

Speaking to the media at the opening of the Fianna Fáil Ard Fheis in Dublin, he said it “can’t be ruled out” that Fianna Fáil, Fine Gael and the Green Party could join forces again.

He also failed to rule out if Fianna Fáil would go into coalition with Sinn Féin. 

Martin said he believes this government could go the full term until 2025.

Moscow warns it faces coronavirus hospital bed shortage within weeks

MOSCOW (Reuters) - Authorities in Moscow have warned that the Russian capital may run out of hospital beds to treat a rising influx of coronavirus patients in the next two to three weeks despite frantic efforts to get more beds in place.

Moscow, Russia’s worst-hit region, has rushed to reconfigure hospitals to treat patients of the new virus and made thousands of new beds available.

But officials said those efforts looked insufficient and that they had to ramp up capacity further.

“...The operational headquarters predicts that despite the inclusion of an increasing number of state, federal and commercial clinics, a shortage of beds in redeveloped hospitals is possible in the next two to three weeks,” the Moscow city health department said.

It would reconfigure 24 more hospitals given the precarious situation and planned to have a total of 21,000 beds available within the next 10 days, it said in the same statement, which was issued late on Monday.

New confirmed infections in the Russian capital shot up by 1,489 overnight, a record, bringing its total number of registered cases to 13,002.

The tally of nationwide cases, including Moscow, stands at 21,102. Authorities say 170 people have died so far.

Sergei Savostyanov, a Moscow lawmaker who sits on the local parliament’s healthcare commission, told Reuters last week that hospital capacity would be close to breaking point if new cases rose by more than 1,500 in the capital every day.

“Judging by documents on the healthcare budget I am familiar with and sittings I attend, I think that if 1,500-2,000 people get infected (on a daily basis), we will reach a very serious threshold, which may be critical for the city,” he said.

‘CLOSE TO CATASTROPHIC’

Moscow Deputy Mayor Anastasia Rakova said on Friday that the number of seriously sick patients requiring hospitalisation was rising quickly, creating what she said was a “dramatic” burden on the city’s healthcare system.

On Saturday, one coronavirus patient, Georgiy Federov, described the situation in the hospital where he was taken as “close to catastrophic”.

“The admissions room was packed with sick people, and most had identical symptoms... Ambulances were arriving every five to seven minutes,” he wrote on social media, adding that he had refused to be held in hospital.

“Medical staff and doctors are really working as if it was wartime. It’s some sort of crazy conveyer belt of sick people... Everyone is placed in wards together. Clearly, bed spaces are already filled to the brim.”

Sergei Sobyanin, Moscow’s mayor, said on Monday that the city had enlisted around 4,500 university and college medical students to help hospital staff treat the inflow of patients.

Evan Gershkovich’s sister says family wants to see ‘more action’ to free Wall Street Journal reporter charged with spying

As the Wall Street Journal’s Evan Gershkovich prepares to spend his 32nd birthday on Thursday in a Moscow lockup, Joe Biden has assured the reporter’s family that the White House will get him back to the US from Russia, the journalist’s sister said.

Danielle Gershkovich remarked on Tuesday in an interview on Newsmax that the president “promised our family personally that he’s going to get Evan home”.

“His friends and family – we just want him to get back to doing what he loves the most,” Danielle Gershkovich said in reference to her brother’s reporting as she appeared on several cable news networks across the political spectrum. “Evan’s not here yet – the job isn’t done, and we’re waiting to see him home.”

Gershkovich in late March became the first American journalist to be held in Russia on spying charges since the end of the cold war. He was at the end of a work trip when he was detained in Ekaterinburg.

Russia’s FSB security service has alleged without publishing any evidence that he was collecting state secrets about the country’s military-industrial complex.

Gershkovich and the Wall Street Journal have denied the charges, saying he was on a legitimate assignment deserving of the highest free press protections.

His editor Paul Beckett accused Russia on Tuesday of taking Gershkovich hostage “to gain leverage with the US government”.

“You never, ever want to hear that about one of your colleagues anywhere in the world,” Beckett said on Newsmax.

A court in Moscow has ordered Gershkovich to be held in pre-trial detention until 30 November. He faces up to 20 years in prison if convicted as charged.

In a separate interview on MSNBC, Danielle Gershkovich said she was doing everything she could to emotionally support her brother during his time in captivity in Moscow’s notorious Lefortovo prison.

“We write letters about once a week, and I summarize goings-on with our family – daily life,” Danielle Gershkovich said. “I try to make him smile, so we do a lot of jokes, a lot of sibling kind of jokes.”

The US’s Russian ambassador, Lynne Tracy, visited Gershkovich in Lefortovo on 17 October, according to a statement published by her office on X, formerly Twitter. Tracy described Gershkovich as being “in good spirits despite his challenging circumstances”, and she said her embassy continued “to call for his immediate release”.

On MSNBC, Beckett alluded to how the US and Russia had each described being serious about the prospect of a prisoner swap.

But “we would like to see more action, to be honest,” Beckett said. “We feel that it’s so outrageous that Evan has been jailed on these false charges that I think it’s incumbent on the US government to deal with the Russians in a way that will bring him back to the family and back to the newsroom.”

Another high-profile American detainee in Russia, the retired marine Paul Whelan, has been held there nearly five years on espionage charges that the US dismisses as meritless. In an interview published by CNN on Tuesday, Whelan said the US had “painted a target” on his back by leaving him out of its last two prisoner swaps with Russia.

A pair of White House-Kremlin prisoner swaps last year got the basketball star Brittney Griner and marine veteran Trevor Reed back to the US in exchange for the Russian arms dealer Viktor Bout and drug trafficker Konstantin Yaroshenko.

Griner had been held after bringing a small amount of cannabis oil into Russia. Reed was charged with violence against a Russian police officer.

Danielle Gershkovich held out hope for an outcome like those savored by the loved ones of Griner and Reed.

“Every day that he’s imprisoned is a day too long,” she told Newsmax. “Of course we want him home. We want him to be spending his birthday at home.”
