Khao Sok Cheow Lan Lake Tour from Krabi , Cheow Larn Lake at Khao Sok National park, known as Guillin of thailand is one of the most beautiful places on earth, with over 100 islands with towering limestone cliffs that give the lake its fairy-tale scenery.  There are also many varieties of wildlife such as elephants, wild oxen, deer, wild boars, hornbills, monkeys, gibbon, etc.  The emerald-like fresh water lake is surrounded by lush forest which is said to be one of the most fertile forests in Southern Thailand.

The forest is also the origin of the Tapee River which runs to the Gulf of Thailand. Anyone who visits will immediately relax and enjoy the beauty of this natural setting, and will never want to say goodbye. The place itself is said to be one of the ten most beautiful places in the world.  Spend your day taking in the amazing scenery, jungle hiking, exploring a cave, swimming, and relaxing at the floating bungalows.

We pick you up at the hotel in the morning to leave Krabi with our guide good english speaking who will take care of and provide you information. When the van crosses to Surat Thani Province, you can feel lifestyle of the local people, communities and their livings as well as the scenery of mountains, palm trees and rubber plantations which are economic plants around the area.

Take a short break for a cup of coffee while enjoying beautiful scenery at Khao Sok.   Start the day with a drive from  Khao Sok  to a colorful local market.  Then cruise the lake in a traditional longtail boat where we can see emerald fresh water and plenty of sandstone and mudstone and limestone mountain.    Swim in emerald green water. Choose between kayaking, hiking with a guide, or hanging at the raft houses to relax and swim.   Hiking to the hidden cave (coral cave) through the tropical rainforest. You will be exciting with bamboo raft and seeing stalactites and stalagmites  in the cave. Lunch time on the raft house restaurant among the natural  and full the relaxing swimming kayaking. Head back by boat to the pier from where the car driver will bring you back to your hotel in Krabi .

Most incredible adventure

This was the most amazing experience! I cannot understand the negative reviews whatsoever u2026our guide Kan was charming and had a wealth of knowledge when it came to the national park and in the jungle. I felt incredibly safe and we really immersed ourselves into the experience I.e. we went kayaking, swimming and loved the trek in the jungle. As I read in other reviews, definitely bring lots of snacks with you because itu2019s a long and adventure filled day. We also stopped and got waterproof bags which was a life saver and a must because itu2019s tropical weather after all!nnIf there is one tour you do in Thailand, it 100% has to be this one

Great experience

A very good trip. Differently worth the money. The natural park is simply beautiful. Our group was rather small (5 people), still we had a whole longboat for us. I've been to several trips in Thailand and this one had definitely the best lunch! Tracking in the jungle is a little bit messy but it's a jungle so you can't say it's not authentic. A bamboo raft is also quite cool. Just one thing, most likely it will be raining there, so get prepared to get wet and a bit dirty.

Overpriced for what it was. The lake itself is amazing and I totally recommend the visit, but everything else about this trip was mediocre at best. Transport was fine, comfortable, the boat through the lake was amazing, but we got zero to none information about the park, the lake, anything... The guide was just there, making jokes which was nice, but he was not really that helpful. The crew was fine. The cave was nice (although not that special if you ever visited any cave), it took like 10 minutes top, but the nature around was breathtaking. The jungle track... that might be my biggest complain - it was just that, walk through the jungle, nothing more. It did not feel safe, fortunately nothing happened to anybody,. Again, we have been told no info about fauna or flora, really waste of time. But I suppose it was still better than waiting for 90 minutes at the restaurant, which was the other option. The swimming options there were not that great, nothing to do there, really. Honestly, beside the lake cruise, that is breathaking on itself, I do not understand what I paid more than 100u20ac for... I paid the same price for FAR superior trips in Thailand.

Amazing experience!

This trip was wonderful!! The scenery was probably the best we experienced in Thailand, our guide pointed out monkeys during the hike, food was delicious, and we enjoyed the hiking and swimming. Just be prepared for it to be a really long day and bring snacks -the time was much appreciated to experience everything, but we got dropped off at our hotel after 9pm and there wasn't an opportunity to get food after lunch. I still would definitely do this again and absolutely recommend this tour.

Good guide and beautiful national park!

The guide spoke excellent english and seemed to be genuinely passionate about the national park and it's history. A good trip, well worth the long transport to get there and back.

Beautiful Thailand

Unorganized driver no English time wasted coordinating combined tours scenery is beautiful if you are not reasonably fit unstable are claustrophobic the cave is not for you the hike through the jungle again has narrow rocky paths I personally went off the path and came back through the river there is no change rooms out where you lunch there are toilets swimming is with life jackets in a confined space this area is run down a lot of broken boards you can only sit in the front area of huts used for sleeping if you dont swim the lunch was lovely and enough before you go hike/cave for 3 hrs if I had full knowledge I probably would not have tried the hike and there should be some cheaper alternative if a couple 1 does cave 1 dosnt do cave but the beauty was spectacularly awesome and my phots were all beautiful the boatmen dont speak English only our guide the tour was rushed and if not for the scenery would have been less than adequate it was an exceptionally long day

nothing to be excited about

personally i wouldnt bother 177.00 i paid for this for my partner and i. the driver was 40 minutes late this morning. nthe tour guide was good nbut for the value of money can do other breath taking things on the island that is far cheaper. 2 hours to commute to khao sok was mostly then carted around on a long tail boat all day. was supposed to be picked up at 7.30 didnt get us till 10npast 8 with the commute and then the briefing and 45 minute long tail boat they give you lunch streight away its just too much time consumption for little return on the jungle hike and the hidden cave then for na 2 hour and 45 min (including boat) commute back to krabi. nhad to also chase up the tour guide companynnot once but twice for pick up times. only saw a monkey on the jungle hike (pot luck i guess )nits just an expensive tour for what it is and for little return. nbut does have great views

Not so easy hike in the cave but a good thrill if that's what you're looking for

We had an amazing experience and everything was ok but we weren't informed at all beforehand of what to expect and how to prepare, just some advice to bring swimsuit and mosquito repellent and hiking shoes. We arrived to Khao Sok by private transfer and then went with a long-tail boat for more than an hour on the lake,stopped to see some rocks and take pictures but the guide didn't say anything about the national park or any information as a real guide should do. He just drove the boat. Then we reached a point where there were houses on the lake and where we had lunch. The food was goood and diverse. Then we found out that we are going on a 3h hike in the rain forest and through a cave of 1km where there are bats and had a river inside and some parts we need to swim which my friend didn't really know how to...we didn't know anything like that when we booked the tour or when we reached Khao Sok just that there will be a hike..also he said to bring our own head flashlight which of course we didn't have. Thank god we had a waterproof bag to put our valuables because we took them with us in the cave. On the way back the road was quite slippery and it was hard sometimes to not slip and don't recommend this hike for anyone..even in the cave I fell a couple of times because of the rocks in the water. Overall, it was a thrilling experience, we were in a big group and felt that like a big challenge which I'm happy I did, but wished I was more prepared before and knew what I signed up for.

One day trip to Khao Sok

The trip was fantasstic and our guide very knowing about the national park and obout spotting animals and insects (also the spiders :-o )

Waanzinnig!

This tour was great! Super fun to walk in the jungle and see animals in the wild. We were lucky to have seen some animals like the elephants, spiders, monkeys and bats. The guide had a lot of knowledge about the animals, cave and Khao Sok. We also had a super nice group which made the tour perfect. All in all, I recommend this tour 100%.

Great if no rain.

The trip wouldu2019ve been amazing except it rained the whole time & we still went. Definitely not worth the $ if it rains but you canu2019t control that.

Excellent tour of Khao Sok. Got picked up from my hotel in Krabi before heading to Khao Sok. My favorite part was the waterfall trail. Beautifully scenic adventure.

Perfect tour! We were picked up at our hotel in Krabi (pickup offered from Krabi and Ao Nang) although we were the only ones from there. Rudi was a really fun and cool tour-guide, he made many jokes and explained a lot, was always polite and caring (e.g. we always got the possibility for toilet stops, look at everything we wanted, ask everything we wanted, take as many photos as we wanted etc.). The national park is stunning, the boat rides (long-tail boat and bamboo-boat) really great, stunning views, even though there are more tourists around it never feels crowded and you get the impression you're there just on your own. Wonderful lunch (no joking, some if the best food we ate in Thailand), you get the chance to do a little Kayak tour, a hike through the jungle, i can't stop praising the tour...you get so much for the money and the organization is just perfect! 10/10

Beautiful scenery. Not crowded.

This is how our day was: hotel pick-up + drive to the park (with a 10min stop). By 11am you're in a long tail boat for about 1h, you stop to take pictures then lunch (generous) + Kayak/swimming for about 1h30. Then it was a jungle trail - fairly easy (unless it rains!) Quick bamboo raft trip to explore a small cave and then trail back to the boat to leave the park around 5pm. So we were picked up at 7.15am and dropped off at 7pm.nYou should bring: n- walking shoes (trail is rocky) but not your favourite ones (really muddy trail) - flipflops are ok in the morning and you can leave your bag in the boat before the trailn- swimwear, towel, sunscreen and mosquito spray (really important!)nnOur guide Rudy was really friendly. We were 9 in total. We had a great time. It's a bit expensive but the scenery is totally worth it.

Great way to experience the park in a day

The guide was super friendly and the tour was gorgeous. We visited a cave, got lunch, got to swim and kayak and took a hike along a river in the jungle (prepare to walk in the river so bring shoes that can be wet).

It was a great tour! We got picked up early from Ao Nang and drove to the National Park where we met the rest of the group. Then we got onto a longtail boat and saw the beautiful scenery as we made our way to one of the resorts within the Park. While we waited to eat lunch, everyone had the option to swim or kayak. Following lunch we made our way to do a hike in the jungle, and then went to a cave for some exploring. I highly recommend this!

The tour was one of the most beautiful things we've seen. We were 5 friends and fortunately we were the only ones in the tour. Rudy was our guide and he was amazingly funny and insightful. Definitely recommend this tour 10/10

We had a lovely day with our guide mr Bee. He knows a lot about the lake and the jungle. We enjoyed the tasty lunch and after lunch hike to the cave. We saw a lot of monkeys! We would recommend this tour!
